  2. I like 7, I'm about halfway into the game and it is fun. This is what the series needed.
  3. Because it's COD. Well, at least you enjoyed it. It would be a waste if you didn't.
  4. Yeah they are actually, because you are playing a small portion of the game. And how the hell can a demo LIE to you on it's GAMEPLAY? I mean, it can only release a snippet of it's game, but last time I checked, most demos give a good representation of the gameplay of the full game. What demo did you play that was starkly different from the main game? Not every game is Aliens Colonial Marines. You can say the same for YouTube videos as well. They can lie, espically the strategy ones. Dude calm the fuck down. OFC I searched it, it's better to look stuff up than talk out of your ass. I mentioned that because you are confusing one company with another. There is little correlation between this being a buggy mess because the developers are different. You basically solved your answer on why NieR had troubles, Cavia had inner issues that led to it's folding, which was close to it's production. That and Squeenix released this at the same time as FF13. I doubt PlatinumGames is folding anytime soon since they have been working with big publishers now, even Microsoft. They're not Grasshopper Manufacture. Nobody said that. We're just saying to play the demo if you have a chance since it's actually good. It's free, and short. You'll get a good impression on the game, like most demos are built to do.
  5. If it was about NieR being a mess of a game, this one is made by Platinum, the guys who rarely mess up on technical side of things. NieR was originally made by Cavia, and they went defunct 6 years ago. Also, why shouldn't you play the demo? It's what the game will play like in the full version, you'll get a better idea PLAYING the game rather than viewing it.
  6. All PS4 owners should play NieR: Automata.
  7. Well, those movies were part of a recent trend that involves splitting the main story into two parts. Problem is, this trend started back in 2011, so making this INVALID. It's funny cause you just reinforced what I said. Friday the 13th continues the story of Jason and his mother and how her death influenced her, wanted to exact revenge on whoever. It continues the story from the first movie, hence a "Part II" works. Video games based on movies don't work, making this INVALID. "So much thought went into this and I know there's a lot of people that feel this trepidation about coming back to these characters and revisiting what that ending means and worrying whether that's going to spoil the first game," he said. "You have to understand we feel all those things as well. No one loves these characters more than we do and we would not do this if we didn't feel like we had the right idea. The 'Part II' is really doubling down on that to say we believe in this so much. We're not trying to avoid it." "I played with so many ideas that had different characters and it never felt right," he explained. "The Last of Us is about these two characters specifically. So yes, the Part II is saying this is a complementary story to the first game, but the two together are going to tell this larger tale." -Neil Druckmann, Lead Director of The Last of Us: Part II http://www.gamespot.com/articles/the-last-of-us-part-2-director-addresses-sequel-wo/1100-6445956/
  8. The hell's wrong with you? Part II is actually an excellent subtitle. The Last of Us 2 wouldn't work, and since the themes and overall atmosphere of the first game are specific, calling the second "Part II" fits in to the feel of the game.
  9. Didn't notice that actually. But I would be fine with it. Then again, I do like Cormac McCarthy.
  10. I don't even know what to say actually.
  11. cool, very interested in Watch Dogs 2.
  12. Well, looks like I'm waiting for a patch. Shit don't change mang, shit don't change.
  13. Like I said it sounds like you had a bias, now I already apologized and realized I jumped to assumptions which is something we need to break out of. We can stop that part of the discussion right here, because now you are ignoring my realization that I jumped to conclusions and backed off from that. It's now water under the bridge. Most side quests do not in anyway directly affect the game's story. Marchenko's organization was barely hinted at, and it was very clear in that there was higher ups who have more power than Marchenko. Marchenko was a puppet, the game abruptly ended, with no closure and with a lot of loose ends that could have been easily fixed. Instead, Enix and Eidos Montreal decided "We're gonna cliffhang this shit for we get moar munee in the next one." Like I said, it is easily comparable to Order 1886. They both ended before it even began.
  14. Yes they can. Did you ignore my examples of Persona 4 and Revengance? Did you ignore the assumptions that other people made during Mafia 3? It is possible that video gameplay can in fact lie. You can miss out the on overall feel of the game, and they can affect your purchase. I have had this happen to me many times, to the point that I am convinced that it is better to play a game, or trust those that have played it, rather than watch gameplay videos and base my opinion on that and risk missing out on a good game. That's why I simply do not believe in that statement, you are of course free to believe in you want to believe. The villain is a man who shows up at one scene, leaves, you kill him the next time and the game ends in the most anticlimactic way since The Order 1886? Why are you not pissed at the fact that the game truly ended before it even began? It is clear that Victor Marchenko is not the big bad of the game, he was not written as that, there was no clues at all, everything pointed out to this big conspiracy and Bob Page and his circle of elites were hinted as the big bads. Nope, we have to wait for another fucking game for that bullshit. I can say a lot of shit about Mafia 3, but at least the fucking game had closure and ended properly. Sick and tired of this cliffhanger bullshit. This reinforces how using your thoughts can create a biased response to the game instead of getting a hands on experience. I played the beta, not much but enough to know that I probably won't be touching the game anytime soon since I can just wait for a Free Weekend on Steam. For example, I tried this approach when I saw gameplay for Uncharted 4, I see if I can replicate the same control from UC3 onto this. When I finally bought the game, I realized that the game plays a lot better than I expected it to be. Another example is Gears of War 4, saw gameplay for Gears of War 4, tried to replicate it from my experiences playing Gears Ultimate Edition, didn't much care for Ultimate Edition's gameplay and controls so that brought my expectations down. But I was still interested, so I bought Gears 4 and good fucking lord, the game is fun as hell. A huge leap from Ultimate Edition, and I do not mean the performance, I mean EVERYTHING. Everything in Gears 4 was significantly upgraded, and I did not see that in the gameplay videos. Once again, this is my preference, and you are welcome to have your own. Well it sounded like you had some sort of bias coming into this. Sorry if I insulted you. And I never said that you said the game sucks. See? You getting me going to assumptions. It's a terrible thing. Like I said, your opinion, I firmly think Activision is trying something with the CoD games and it will take time for the community to later accept that. Personally, I believe Activision may have something here.
