  1. I don't even know why people keep comparing it to Destiny. It really does discredit the game immensely. From what I've heard of Destiny it's nothing like The Division. I think just because it's a shooter MMO with instanced and Open world stuff people lump it together with destiny. Just because it's has guns and is quasi MMO it's a Destiny clone? Comon. For one Division, although small, is open world while Destiny you fly to different planets but it's essentially like going from level to level on Halo, but you can choose which levels to go to and can do them over again with loot drops. It has hubs where you can see other players and group up, that's like the Division for PvE areas. But Darkzone is all open world where you can see and run into everyone there that is in your level bracket. Division has a story while Destiny has a guy that says there is a story but doesn't have time to tell you it. I think if Joe hadn't been comparing it to Destiny the whole time, the score would have been different.
  2. I've been enjoying it thus far. I'm with Joe on the fact that the game should have started with you being part of the first wave or even one of the ones that was activated asap and was only monitoring at the hospitals and clinics. All the really cool shit does go down well before you actually get the call. If you want the whole story of what's going on, you have to get at least 75 percent of the collectables that tell what happened during the firs days and the first wave. And knowing how Joe plays, he probably did rush on through and not read most of it, he does read story stuff, he has no problem but I've never seen him delve into collections and that's where most of it is. I have yet to finish the game, I'm on the LMB now, so got a little spoiler when he showed the final boss, wasn't happy they pulled a Commercial for season pass at the end though. I fucking hate when you beat a game, instead of going right on in, they throw a advertisement message from the devs. But leave it to Ubisoft to do that shit. I left a comment on the video talking about the things I loved thus far about the game. It's enjoyable and fun to play and a great game for friends. I'm still bummed about all the things they promised and showed off and honestly I feel they lied to Joe during interviews to basically use him a hype man. Cause man was he hyped after the interviews and supposed gameplay footage. I honestly don't know if they were going for more then they could chew in the end, or they outright lie to get preorder sales. Again, with Ubisoft it's most likely the latter. Also I like how they did the PvP. If your going to be a bad guy, and that's what going rogue is, then you should get hit hard for being a bad guy. But not that hard, I heard you loose a dark zone level but loosing several is a bit excessive. Maybe make the amount dependent on how many agents you kill rather then hitting you with a mack truck. And yeah, I was there for beta. I know how much bullshit asshats did during the beta, so there is plenty of reason why they did what they did. From assholes forcing other players rogue, to outright blockading entrances and killing people coming and going. It was utter bullshit and griefing was rampant. So from the extreme griefing in beta to the over reacting at launch, honestly it's to early for them to find the sweet spot for PvP.
  3. I know. It takes barely any resources and doesn't konk out on you as often as skype. That and you can be in several servers at a time for text chat at least. So I can keep tabs on both AJSA stuff and the other games I run with friends. Lookin forward to seeing more people using it.
  4. Yeah, Ranking has to be done manually from what I gather. Also how were you able to get a perm link for the channel? So far we have had to send invites in real time to people to get into it.
  5. We have a Discord channel? More active then the TS? Also I'm on Iksanun. Maining a warlock right now cause I want the free stuff at 45, also it's not a bad class. I'm enjoying it and my Assasin. But you'll see me on my Warlock Eliza Hex
  6. I have it for PC. I know there was talk of a good number of us playing. But with how it is, I don't see it being a supported game because there is no clan/guild feature and the fact that there are many of us doing a either or kind of thing. With a good number going console and a good number going PC. PC is not a port but is being developed separate from the console version.
  7. He's asking about the sub forum. If it's no longer a supported game, the subforum gets removed.
  8. If you wana play with the Panda. I'm on Iksanun. Have a character on both factions. Also check the Hongmoon store in game guys for a free character slot. From what I've gathered it's more of a word of mouth thing cause I haven't seen a official post anywhere yet about it.
  9. It's not a WoW clone. Joe said it best. It's a Destiny clone.
  10. This isn't what they promised at E3 at all what so ever. I get having to cut some things out because of time constraints or they aimed to high. But it feels like they aimed the entire game to high, marketed it at what they wished to make and then are giving us a good enough game. Things gone from what they told Joe and other Press. Guild system, Melee system, MMO (It's 4 player co-op with a free for all loot cave area. They promised to see guild mates in the guild base of operations where we can get together and group up and head out. They also promised raids and dungeons) several buildings that can be liberated to become base of operations, the trade mark graphics promises and let downs. I bet the port to PC is gona be shit like all the others and they are gona ammass DLC story stuff. I mean through the whole thing Joe just sounds so defeated when asking questions to see if what he was told was still there and it wasn't. You can kinda hear his heart break. Can't way for a Angry review of the game and joe to tell them they fucked up. I had such high hopes for the game too but it seems they want to make their own version of destiny to compete with destiny even though the consensus is that destiny sucks.
  11. I'm trying to do streaming with youtube video on the occasion. The extra would be toward some other stuff. I'm like guessing extra would be just a bit of roll over like 20 bucks or something. I don't know how it really works, if it cashes out when goal is hit or I close it out. I'm not gona leave it going and just accumulate. The extra would be a haircut, and a headset possibly. I'm not looking to be supported through the thing through go fund me. Just clothes that I don't have and can't afford. Like I said, I plan to close it out once it hits the number and place the order on the clothes.
  12. If your unable to donate a share would be helpful just as much. Thank you. https://www.gofundme.com/zwfyjb9g
  13. Yeo Panda here. The guild kind of just fell apart after launch. We had a strong go during the closed and open betas. We kicked major ass, very active and had events going. But from the early launch things rolled downhill. It had nothing to do with Joe not playing it had everything to do with Trion business practices and the move to the server we did and the faction change. I'll go over what happen from within first cause this plays into attitudes of people. During closed and open beta we were on the Western faction and on a medium pop server. Enough players to keep things very very lively, the game was so hype medium pop would be high pop to other games. But we got housing and we got land and there were generally no problems. We all worked together and we made it pretty far in the game and was amazing. To this day we still talk about the good ol days we had in beta. People fell in love with the western continent, we got the guild going and even made a name for ourselves on the server. Move was actively targeted by pirate groups/guild because he was a known pirate hunter. It was amazing to try and sail out with MOVE and get stopped and asked if that's Move and then barred from leaving port because they wanted blood. To others this may sound bad but for us in the party it was hilarious and pats on the back for having a member that could strike fear into pirates. So pretty much the AJSA was established and invested in the west and on that server. Then the game opened up for free to play and everything changed. From heated debates between Alpha players wanting to be East coast and Beta players wanting to be West coast but unlike the rap feuds, no one got shot. In the end we ended on Eastern faction. We also got intel that moving to a specific server was going to be a good idea because larger guilds were going to leave that one alone and it being a low pop server would let our guild grow and dominate. That didn't happen. The server that was rumored to be low pop with small guild became the go to server which made a ton of competition with larger guilds with tons more people playing. So after all this there was tension in the group with people leaving that game entirely or threatening to leave if we decided on something else. Honestly the threats did not help AT ALL, seriously for a gaming group we should work together and enjoy it rather then threaten to leave if people don't get their way. I was mad about all the changes don't get me wrong but it's not what killed the game for me. So as for the leaders of the group, we felt a whole lot on our shoulders from people and it was mostly anger and people telling us what we should do and how we should lead. This made things very very very difficult. I can't speak for Beef or MoVe but the hostility was really a downer and the bickering and PMs we got made it hard to lead, nothing we ever did made anyone happy and we just yelled at. And for people wondering why we didn't just kick people and go HAM on the guildies it's because if we did the guild would have been down to a number you could count on your hands, yeah it was that bad. AA is a great mirror scenario that people should look at for attitude and how you treat the people doing their best. But over all, personally I would have stuck it out if the game had been amazing like I was hoping, which it was for a while, then Trion pretty much went "O look, a giant cliff, lets jump off of it" They fucked up big time and I mean big time. Early launch for people that paid all that money was horrible. DDoS attack keeping the servers down and making it slow as fuck to get into made the land rush a matter of guilds throwing massive amounts of people into the server to have a higher chance of getting prime land. Bigger the guild, the more chance you had to get at least a couple players into the game to get to the land your guild wants. By the time we got in, all the prime spots were taken. We ended up with a nice little area in the starting zone but it wasn't what we wanted or planned for and more like a consolation prize. The best we could get. So we got a little bit of land for the lucky players and others had to wait for spots to open up. Then it opened up to free players and all hell broke loose. bots, bots as far as the eye could see. sniping land every time a house expired making it impossible for guildies to grab plots unless they were super lucky. From bots sniping land, to farming and market place inflation to even people teleporting around with trade packs helping add to inflation. The market was fucked and Trion did nothing to fix it. There were screen shots of the botters and cheaters talking to the GMs about their banning and getting them overturned and back into the game and then gloating about how they got one over the GM and how they ruled the game. It was all over Trion forums and Trion never responded with anything about fixing this issue. The second issue with Trion was the cash grabbing. in the Korean version alot of costumes and other things were purchasable from Mirage Island but when it came to here Mirage Island was pretty much barren besides housing and boats. It all seemed like a cashgrab to me. Trion blamed the devs for it but if that were true, why were they available in the Korean, chinese and russian versions compared to here in the US where it was mainly all in the cash shop? This really rubbed me the wrong way. Couple all these issues with the slow content roll out, and I'm not the only one who thought they were slow as snails rolling out updates and dungeons and World bosses. Over all, it was how Trion handled the game that killed it for me in the end. If I sounded defeated while talking to people sometimes it's because I had been expecting the game to be amazing and awesome like people kept saying it was in korea but the US version was a huge let down. From stress to the game letting me down at every turn in the end. It burned it out on me. I think it may have been the same for others. I know beef was stressed non stop from getting PMs from guildies robbing eachother and other guilds letting us know we had a section of players going pirate and then the PMs we all were getting about drama out of game. Drama out of game, drama in game, and a game that isn't living up to what we all had hoped. We went from a amazing time time in Beta to a downward spiral. It honestly killed it all for us. I think that pretty much explains the entire downfall in completion. From officer we got burned out and we let everyone down and slowly kind of just faded away. Whether it was drama or the game or a combination of both it burned us out. TL;DR: You have to read the entire thing because you can't summarize some things. ^ or just read that last line if you really really really hate reading so much.
  14. You can find me there. Family name: Stronghold
  15. Curious if we have anyone teams for Blizzard games? Right now I've been playing a bit of hearthstone and wanting to give Heroes of the storm a try. Mainly cause Heroes is like a big ol Blizzard dream. Been playing their games for years and years. Except WoW, because pffffffffff that game.
