Welcome back, a pleasure to meet you.
I noticed you said you play PUBG. Have you had the chance to play the new map on the PC Test Servers recently?

Great laptop choice! You can pretty much play any game with that.

Hmmmm, so you haven't bought any games since 2016. There's a lot of stuff you're going to enjoy playing then. Here's what I personally think are great 2017 games that's available on PC

    Cuphead
    Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus
    Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice
    Nioh
Tekken 7 (if you like fighting games)
    Resident Evil Biohazard 7
    Prey (2017)
    Dead Cells
    Hollow Knight
    The Evil Within 2
    Nier Automata

2018 has been.... pretty dry at the moment. But there are good stuff.
Dragon Ball FighterZ (again, if you like fighting games)
The Fall 2 Unbound (recommend playing the first game The Fall too)
    Ni No Kuni 2
    Final Fantasy XV

If you're looking to buy these or other PC games, I suggest not buying them full price on Steam. Get them through a website that sells games in a bundle, like these
    https://www.humblebundle.com/games/humble-indie-bundle-19?hmb_source=navbar&hmb_medium=product_tile&hmb_campaign=tile_index_1
    https://www.fanatical.com/en/

Or a search website to find which sites can sell a game at the cheapest of prices
    https://www.comparecdkeys.net/PC/Keys

And if you actually buy a game from Steam and you beat it under 2 hours, you can do a Steam refund and get your money back. Always remember this if you somehow bought walking simulators, like Tacoma, What Remains of Edith Finch, Dear Esther, Gone Home, Virginia or Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. Actually these games are best just seen on youtube. They tell good stories & you don't have to pay a thing to experience them.

Look forward to the upcoming games later this year! With your laptop, you'll be able to enjoy them to the fullest!

Some good recent games (2017-Now) available on the PC would be Celeste, Night in the Woods, Divinity Original Sin 2, Endless Space 2, Danganronpa series, Hitman 2016 (I think the second episode is still free), What Remains of Edith Finch, Hollow Knight, Torment Tides of Numenera, They Are Billions, Iconoclasts, NieR, Gorogoa, Total War Warhammer 2, Tacoma, Into the Breach, West of Loathing, Dandara, Warhammer Vermintide 2, Wolfenstein II, Nioh The Complete Edition, XCOM 2 War of the Chosen, Beholder, Slay the Spire, Dead Cells, Ghost of a Tale, Reigns Her Majesty, Pyre. Battletech comes out next month.

    Hey all,
I was browsing through my inventory on steam the other day and i found a spare copy of Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut.. I have no use for it and pretty much every one on my friend's list has the game...
I thought that it might get some use out of one of my fellow AJSA members..
However there is one problem... This game can only be redeemed in the following countries...
Russian Federation, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Republic of, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, India
If you live in one of these regions and are interested in playing this game please send me a friend request on steam so that i can give you the game.
    Cheers and Happy Gaming...

    P.S
(Using a VPN to redeem the game might work but i am not  100% sure)

So, some of you now may or may not know me, but I am one of the Council members and long time real life friend of AJ. I have had a somewhat diminished presence inside the community, but make no mistake, I have been keeping track of what has been going on through our wonderful mods, Commanders, and other community leaders.

What have I been up to you might ask? Well, I am working on an upcoming tactical FPS called Squad. We are about to launch our Kickstarter campaign on May 26th. If any of you have an interest in this genre, check it out and see what you think. As always, I love you all and thanks for your time.

Hey all, I've been following a kickstarter Fan Film series on youtube created by the Iron Horse Cinema Production for some time...
Although the kick starter for the current part (Part 3) is over they are going to hopefully open up the kickstarter for Part 4 soon..
Here is the link for Part 3 which is still in production and will hopefully be released soon.. http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-last-of-us-fan-film-part-3
This is by far one of the best fan film's I have seen about the Last of Us with the most closely resembled actors to the game..
You all should give the fan film series a try..
    Part 1:
    Part 2:

P.S Considering they aren't asking much, I think that they've done a hell of great job with this..

Strategy is dead, Angry Joe is not about to finance a sc2 team(the only still relevant game.) The supported games are mostly games that have guilds or clans or servers. There's no point in making a Civilization "clan" or anything because there's no server or competition you just open a game and call your friends over, there's an appropriate section of the forums where you can try to setup a game even. (not to mention games usually have to be saved and concluded some other day.)

To be honest I realized clans are rather silly a long time ago and other than guilds in mmo's and professional teams not something necessary for enjoyment at all, you can meet some people in the forums and play any game you want without "official support" or whatever the hell you want... Disclaimer - I don't demean the AJSA efforts in creating communities and wearing tags at all.

The guy lives in america and a good amount of us are on this side of the world so times will cater mostly to the Americas, you can't expect people to be up at inappropriate times just because Europe is awake or him to play with every single forum member.

There's been a lot of generalization around here lately "AJSA is all pc elitists" "EU is second class" people forget that we're shaping the community ourselves, if you want to form a group of forumers that play xbox cod every night you can do it, if you want to form a group that plays civilization on EU friendly times go for it, hell far as I know our RPG community actually has more than one game going on right now and there's nothing official about them... I should probably try to join a game or two.

  16. chocokaran67 liked a post in a topic by Nyrsis in The Elder Scrolls Online: Monthly Subscription for a Full-priced Game
People don't just want 'something for nothing' with that game. We want something for a reasonable price. Think about it, this is the company & team's first attempt at an MMO. It will likely not be amazing and it probably won't innovate on any existing systems. From what I've heard from beta testers, this, sadly, is the case. What we will get is an MMO that's only a little above average. It simply won't be worth $60 plus $15 a month plus $X micro transactions. As an indie developer, I know how hard it is to make a game, I know they need and deserve money for their product. What they don't realize is the model they chose is losing them money.

Let do the math behind it. I estimate (from online polls, beta tester responses, and friend's opinions) that < 40% of fans will get the game - but lets give it the benefit of the doubt and just call it 40%. Also, the average time a person sticks with an MMO is about 3.5 months. But lets pad that in their favor too and call it 4 months. I would also estimate about 90% of fans would get the game if there was no monthly subscription. Then let's use the figure for Skyrim sales as a fan stat - which is 20 million copies as of June this year.

    Math Time!

Game Sales at 40% fans with subscription:
    20,000,000 * 0.4 = 8,000,000 fans
Total revenue + 4 months of play (first is free, so 3 payed):
    (8,000,000 * $60) + (8,000,000 * $15 * 3) = $840,000,000

Game Sales at 90% fans with no subscription:
    20,000,000 * 0.9 = 18,000,000 fans
    18,000,000 * $60 = $1,080,000,000

That's an insane $240,000,000 loss. Yes, 240 million lost from their decision. And that's after I completely padded it in their favor on all fronts!

Even if 50% of fans purchase the game (HIGHLY unlikely) it's is still a $30,000,000 loss. In all reality the loss will be greater because of the number of new-comers a subscription will put off. The point here is that the subscription model just doesn't work. This is not an empty claim, it's completely back up by industry statistics. As you said, it did work for Guild Wars 2, because the pay once model puts the numbers completely in their favor. Just on the basis of profit, ESO should use a pay once model. This will not only make them more money in the end, it will make the fans far happier.

I love this game series and I love their team. I want to see them succeed so I can keep getting bad ass Elder Scrolls games. This is why I worry about it!
