Just starting a new thread for invites and promotions. If you need a guild invite to AJSA on the NA server please post here.

Also if you are in need of a promotion to member or Veteran, post here (Rank is determined by your forum rank, read
AJSA Chain of Command - Ranks  for more info)

PLEASE include your @name with your post!

Official Faction is still AD but members lay on all factions. I wouldn't want to be one of the guilds that boot anybody playing on another faction because that seems a little harsh.

You've worked hard to keep it together so when you return I hope to have it in a position of growth if you so choose to retake the position of ESO leader. At this time I don't intend to be a permanent leader but just here to help organize the guild for returning and new players. I want to make it as easy as possible for players to have a good time. I hope to also have events on the way soon. I wish you luck and hope you will rejoin us on ESO soon.

Heh it is wonderful game. Just last 2 weeks i play it less. Really want to play it coop or something - maybe will wait for wings. Not sure. If there is formed some Angry group or you need one more noob in your friend list - feel free to add me - CMDR Invicta Vultis.

Playing with keyboard and mouse only. Got X-Flight HOTAS but after trying it a little bit i banished it to the room corner. Probably for a long time. Not in a mood to learn how to walk again.

I think Darker orange = below neutral, otw to unfriendly.
But then again, I'm colorblind, so thoose orange colors might just be playing with me.

I think some people are forgetting TOR came out incomplete with no news on when stuff that is normal for mmos to have or was promised was going to be implomented into the game which some stuff still isn't 3 years into the life cycle. The game quickly fell on its face then within a year after its launch had to announce free to play then put in the worst money grabbing definition of why EA is evil thing i have ever saw to where it crippled the mmo experiance dramatically unless you gave it money or subscribed.

I just tweaked the ranks around so that Sergeants were above Veterans then tossed them the ability to edit the message of the day to make it easier to inform people of events and whatnot.

Having said that, there is a good chance that some Sergeants were demoted to Veteran, and I am also pretty damn sure there are members who should be promoted to Veterans (the requirement are listed under AJSA Chain of Command - Ranks )
if you are the wrong rank, please let me (@Jackschmit) or a officer know, or just post something here and I will get to it ASAP.

If you have any interest in taking a more active role in the guild (promotion to Sergeant) , please let anyone Sergeant rank or above know. I can use all the help I can get!

  15. Jackschmit liked a post in a topic by manny254 in PVP Basics
This will be a overview of some of the basics to pvp in eso. I have decided to post this here to keep it as easy to access as possible. This will mostly be about information, and what is the priority on the map.

    The Map

Safe Zone: You will begin in a safe zone at one of the two gates. These gates are not what I will be talking about later with scrolls. The Western Gate has crafting stations and a bank. The Eastern gate has pvp quests and vendors. One of the pvp quest boards holds bounties such as "kill enemy players" and "kill enemy templars." These are the only pvp quests that can only be completed once a day. From these safe zones you can go to any keep that is our fast travel network. When a keep is under attack or we control no resources at the keep you can not travel there. To leave pvp you must use the wayshrines at either gate.

Keeps: They are the castle tower icons on the maps. Players may respawn at the keeps as longs all the walls are above 50% hp. Control of the keeps is determined by the two flags located in the inner keep. They are heavily guarded by both players and npc's alike. When attacking a keep you either go for the stone walls of the keep or the front doors. When attacking the stone walls hitting the doors will not register damage, but hitting the stairs will. When attacking the front door (not advised) hitting any part of the wood door will register damage.

Resources: Each keep has 3 resources. They are the farm, lumber mill, and mine. After clicking on a keep you can see the level of each resource on the left side of the map(shown above). A in depth description of what each resources does can be found on the tabs on the left side of the map where the level of a keeps resources are shown. Generally the mine buffs the walls, the mill buffs the front door, and the farm buffs the npcs. When all 3 resources are taken a keep is cut off from transit, but players can still respawn if the walls are above 50% or if a forward camp is placed. Resources are guarded by npc's and players. Control is decided by the flag in the center of the resource.

Outposts: There are 3 outposts. they are similar to the inner portion of a keep. They have no resources, and they can not be used a respawn location. When the walls are above 50% they can be traveled to but not out of.

Scrolls: Each factions has 2 scrolls. Holding scrolls that belong to another faction gives your faction buffs. In order to take another factions scrolls you must control both of your own scrolls. Each factions scrolls rest in specific scroll temples behind the appropriate gates. To open the gates you must control the keep closest to the gate and the keep that links to those keeps. To open the AD gates red or blue would have to take Faregyle and either Bloodmayne or Blackboot. Stolen enemy scrolls are placed in any of our home keeps. We will talk about this later what I Call "The Holy Trinity".

Home Keeps: They are the keeps on our side of the map. They would be (In order of importance) Faregyle, Alessia, Roebeck, Blackboot, Bloodmayne, Brindle, and Drakelowe. Home keeps take priority over anything else on the map.

Emperor: This is determined by the keeps that form a circle around the center of the map. Capturing all the keeps around the center gives this to the player that is number one on that factions leaderboards. It gives large buff to this one player while they are Emperor, but they lose these buffs when they are dethroned. All players on this faction also get a health buff. They are dethroned when there faction holds no keeps on the inner circle. As long as the faction with Emperor has one keep on the inner circle they will retain Emperor.

"The holy Trinity": By this I mean the keeps of Faregyle, Alessia, and Robeck. These 3 keeps hold priority for placement of enemy scrolls when AD manages to steal a scroll. Faregyle is the key to controling our own gates/scroll temples. Alessia and roebeck are both home keeps and inner circle keeps. So if Faregyle and one of the other two keeps hold enemy scrolls our factions can defend just two keeps and retain 4 scrolls and Emperor. Normally in thornblade when both DC and EP attack at once we end up falling back to Ales and Fare.
IF ANY OF THESE 3 KEEPS ARE UNDER ATTACK STOP WHAT YOUR DOING AND GET THERE.
(Unless you are already at one these 3, and also fare takes priority over the other two.)

    Siege Equipment and Gear
AP: This is the pvp currency. It is earned by doing just about anything that involves enemy players or pvp nodes. So killing, defending  capturing things, completing quests etc. It is used to buy siege equipment and gear from the pvp vendors at the Eastern Gate. Siege gear is bought from siege merchants at the eastern gate or any resources or keep your faction owns.

Gear: Pvp gear is just set gear that can only be gotten in cyrodiil (can be bought from players as it is bind on equip) it does not provide you with some stat normal gear does not give you. When you get enough ap you will also get "rewards for the worthy" this will contain a green item with a chance for pvp gear and a soul gem.  If crafting the best trait to use on all your armor is impen. as crits are a large part of dps in this game.

Siege for walls: The ideal siege for raw dps on a wall is a "Dominion Ballista" no special affix. When aiming over a wall and trying to hit the inner wall before you hit outer wall use a stone treb.

Counter Siege: Anything with fire will do great damage to both players and enemy siege.

Crowd Control: Meatbag catapults will greatly reduce the healing the enemy receives. Oil catapults will greatly slow targets, and can not be cleansed. Then of course dumping hot oil on the enemy really really hurts.

Forward Camps: This will allow your faction to respawn without the need of a keep. Needless to say this is a vital part of attacking and defending. They have a limited amount of respwans, and they cannot be placed to close to each other. (On the map on the right side of the screen there is a filters tab that will allow you to see the radius of these camps.

Repair Kits: After defending or taking a keep you must repair the walls. Repair kits are purchased from the siege merchant. Wood for the front doors, and stone for the walls. You can also get siege repairs kits, but I only recommend these on forward camps.

As many of you are no doubt aware, the AJSA has fallen onto hard times in ESO. Our numbers are dwindling, we have been almost without any leadership throughout the summer.  Some of the members of our leadership have been away for personal reasons (real life takes priority over a video game so I can't hold that against anyone) Others have vanished without a trace, without so much as a "so long, and thanks for all the fish". I understand that some people were unsatisfied with the game, and nobody here expects people to pay a monthly fee for a game they don't enjoy, but in the future if your leaving ESO, at least if your a Sargent or above in rank PLEASE at least leave a forum post announcing your departure so we do not end up in this situation again.

Well times are changing! Weather you have been playing from the start of Beta, or just recently bought the game through it's discount on steam, I'm sure some of you have seen me online on a very regular basis. I can't claim to be some expert in this game, nor can I claim to have any experience leading a guild before. I'm not some PVP god whom descends onto the battle field wreaking death and destruction wherever I go. I'm just one man, A gamer, just like all of you. I play to have fun, first and foremost. I can't promise to get us back to the level of players we had at launch, but I will promise you this: I shall not abandon you. Even if I am deposed from leadership, even if I'm the last man standing within the AJSA in ESO, I shall remain and do anything and everything in my power to revitalize this guild, and to promote a fun and drama free environment.

Having said that I can't do this alone! I need you, Angry Army. Alone, I am helpless but united we shall not fail! There is much work to be done to get us back to where we need to be. I actually have a vacation around the block (3 more days of graveyard shift, then x11 days off) So I will be online next week during daylight hours for a change. If you have any suggestions, questions or concerns please do not hesitate to yell at me. Guild chat, in game mail, through Ts3, or PMs through our website will all reach me. I suggest using the website PMs if i am offline as it will email the message directly to my phone.

First things first though, I feel we need a home PVP campaign. I personally love PVP in this game and would like to recruit some new members but it was kind of hard to do that when our campaign was still listed as Skull Crusher after update 3. I invite you to go HERE: Which campaign do you prefer for Update 3? and offer your thoughts as to what campaign we should join. This is not a dictatorship and I would prefer to take everyone's opinion into consideration before we choose..... HOWEVER: I plan on having this set in stone 2 weeks from today. 'till that time I shall remain in Chillrend, I'll be happy to PVP with anyone who wishes to join me. In addition, I have a level 41 vampire which is set to the Non-vet campaign (Blackwater Blade) I would be happy to jump onto it to try to share my knowledge with new/inexperienced players there. It has a low population, and best of all, no vets, so it's perfect for getting the hang of PVP.

Also I am going to tweak the ranks around a little bit so that they match our forum ranks (see HERE:
AJSA Chain of Command - Ranks  for more info) If I make a mistake when setting your rank please let me know, I will correct it ASAP.

I myself am guilty of not always being in TS3, I'm planning on picking up a mic so i can stay in it more often without a headset on because I can't handle wearing one for too long. If you need to speak to me and I'm not there by all means do not hesitate to ask me to join you.I also have some authority to clean up the ESO forum now so if you made a spelling mistake in a title, or feel that a post thread is obsolete, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

I would lean towards thornblade, it is the most balanced population wise(high traffic hours all 3 are locked). Until recently the score has also been fairly even, but now we are taking a lead.  Although I would think that who ever is going to lead these should have alts to do the non vet campaign to train people.

Side note :This is just how I feel, and this is a big issue with our current, future, and former populations.
At this point in the game if your not max level your not going to stand a chance on any of the servers except the non-vet one. In the high population servers you won't have enough health to stay alive through aoe's, and in the low pop one's it would be all about quality over quantity.
When this guild kind of was anything at all the population of players was mostly lower level people, and this was because the game had just come out. So even if you where to rally people back to it most of them would not be able to really help in pvp. A organized group of 20 v12 could endlessly stomp a unexperienced team of 50 v5's.

I'd vote for non-vet Blackwater Blade.
We don't need to rope Vet levels in, so much at this point, they're already bad-assed enough to fend for themselves for the most part.
If you want new blood, a lot of that is going to come (in my opinion) from people who don't have their feet wet, yet.
Guys that don't know Siege from Shinola.
Get a few 5 day non-vet campaigns for the newbs advertised in general zone chat, and you'll bring in some as yet unaffiliated types.
Boom, some of them will become guild members, if you vet them and approve them.
Run 2 5-day campaigns while the vets are playing in vet campaigns, start throwing some classes/clinics/advice into the mix, and start ushering the newbs into Haderus or Chillrend, just because they can see progress sooner than a 30 day vet campaign with hard-asses that will eat their lunch and send them (me among them, I got tired of getting face-rolled over and over) running home to Momma.

Just my opinion, and I have lots of opinions.

Greetings and salutations.  I believe I had spoken to you very briefly when you were talking about this online.  While yes I am still new to Elder Scrolls Online I am by no means new to PvP MMOs.  Weither it be in WoW, Tera, SWTOR, or Rift I would help setup PvP events on a regular basis.  I joined ESO near the beginning of the month and joined the AJSA guild but I barely ever saw anyone online and nobody would respond most of the time I would use chat.  I am very happy to see that the guild isn't dead and would be more then happy to help out in any way I can.  I did speak to Jackschmit briefly about setting up our first event which I think he has a very good idea that will help.

Sorry U haven't been active on the forums.  I just use teamspeak to communicate lol.  Anyway, I think the standard type instead of just new or just vet players because that would limit the amount of us that could join by a good amount.  While I am new to ESO and still have a lot to learn about the game, I am not by any means new to PvP MMOs.  I did want to talk to you more about the first event we were talking about briefly online next time I see you on if I may.  If there is anything you need any help with I would me more then happy to be of any assistance.
  23. Shadowless Khan liked a post in a topic by Jackschmit in Which campaign do you prefer for Update 3?
So just wondering what kind of campaign everyone was interested in for update 3, feel free to explain your choice.

Bow of Shadows: Veteran Rank only Campaign (five-day campaign) Blackwater Blade: Non-Veteran only Campaign (five-day campaign) Haderus: seven-day standard Campaign that anyone can join. Chillrend: 14-day standard Campaign that anyone can join. Thornblade: 30-day standard Campaign that anyone can join. Personally I am conflicted, I know I want a standard campaign because it will ensure new players can still enjoy PVP with more experienced players, and 7 day campaigns just seems to damn short to me. So Thornblade is the obvious choice at 1st glance, yet I worry that it will become the most overpopulated (and thus often locked out) campaign because it's the only one that lasts longer then a week.

EDIT -Canged my mind, Chillrend turns out to be 14 days, and isn't locked the moment i log in, so it would be my choice.
