    Overview:
This guide is mostly for new players, or for those who want to refer back for material gathering information.  Basic dungeon info will be added as well.
This is mainly just a reference for all our members to use instead of wading through Google and Wikia's as they seem incomplete.
If you have information, or notice something incorrect please let me know.

    The Basics:
As a general guideline (not mandatory) new players are advised to follow the Main Storyline Quests and Side Quests at least up to Level 25.  At this range the game begins to open up to the player in the way of crafting and doing your own thing.  You can sandbox before then, but it's very difficult.

You will also acquire Gilda Stars used at Mirage Isle to purchase Houses, Ships, Aquafarms, etc, etc.
Players will need to decide if they wish to purchase a house after attaining 15 Gilda Stars (provided there is any space to build on) or risk waiting and saving for another goal (Like a Cutter ship for example). If there is land available, it is HIGHLY recommended that you go for a house/farm first.  Once space runs out it can be one of the most difficult things to do as far as finding a place to call home.

It is highly recommended you open your Map and configure all the filters to your understanding, so you can easily locate dungeons, merchants, Warehouses, etc.

    Actually... This one is better.

    Jury Duty:
To be eligible for Jury Duty you must complete the Witness Protection quest line in Austera located on the north end of Solis Headlands.

    Where to Gather Materials
Where to find things like Logs, Ore, Mushrooms, etc, etc.
Not everyone has their own house or farm to use and this can help those who are new to ArcheAge as they begin to level up and need to find basic crafting materials. Please feel free to contribute and i'll edit the information.  If we can get this into decent shape and get this stickied, that would be awesome for our new players to be referred to.

    Mining:

    Iron Ore and Raw Stone:
The earliest area to begin gathering Iron Ore as well as Raw Stone is in the Gnawbones Cave near the North Devi River in Tigerspine Mountains. This is around Level 15.

Veins spawn often and drop both materials.  They also have a chance to turn into Fortuna Veins which drop more Raw Stone and different types of ore (Silver, Gold, Archeum).

West Arcum Iris, West Solis Headlands and a cave in south Ynestere also have places to mine from. (I'll get screenshots and map info)
    Logging:
Old Trees can be logged in the Silent Forest which is a level 26-28 zone.
They spawn either with a 2 hour timer, or instantly ready for harvest and yield 2-4 logs at the cost of 15 Labor Points.
It is possible to gather 300 logs per day with one person (from personal experience, I used this method to get enough Lumber for my ship).
With 2-3 people the amount you can gather goes up exponentially, as you don't have to compete with other players.

Below is a picture of my route for logging Old Trees. Please note the map.

Maple and Cherry Trees grow in Villanelle.
Water pools in Arcum Iris have trees to log as well.

    Plantlife:
Clovers, Azaleas,  and Corn Flowers grow in abundance at Ynestere.  Making it ideal if you need to craft Dried Flowers
Ynestere is as level 28-33 zone, however.

Underwater Mining (Level 30-50, parties recommended):

One location we know of for Underwater Mining is south of Cinderstone Moor which resides on Nuia.  So this is risky as you are sailing and diving close to the enemy faction territory.  It is also an open PVP area so you can be killed in competition for these nodes.

What you are looking for is Star Shard Veins.  Which drop Star Shard Chips and Raw Stone.
These are used for Star Shard Ingots which are needed for mid-level crafts.  The ingots sell for a decent amount on the Auction House.

You will have to sail passed a few Seabugs and Jellyfish, as well as potential enemy ships on your way.
Ships are essential, otherwise you can't dive for long enough (without the 10 minute dive gear buff) to harvest any Star Shards.
The nodes are plentiful as long as other players aren't around.  It is highly recommended that teams of 2-4 people (at a minimum) go so you don't get yourself killed.

    Diving Locations:

Need to add more to this later, as I explore it.

    Gilda Stars:
Following the main storyline (Green Quest) will net you your starter Gilda Stars. Around 50, not counting the Stars you'll get doing other side-quests.  After that line is finished you'll have to do daily quests and trade pack runs in order to keep GS coming in.
Mentor/Mentee Dailies provide the best amount of GS for time invested.  Each one gives you 3 Stars.  At least doing PC and HF will get you 6.  Then you can get another 4-6 off other dailies.

You can easily maintain about 10 Gilda Stars a day. Doesn't sound like much. but 10 days is 100 Gilda Stars.   Factor in a few Trade Packs, and other possible quests. I also need to confirm if you can do the other factions dungeons for an extra 6 Gilda Stars. This could be a possible minimum 19 GS a day if thats true.
Thats 190 Gilda Stars in 10 days. 570 in 30... let that sink in a second.

    These are our current goals.

TRADE SHIP - We will be working on doing this. Mermen has generously been voluntold to collect the guilda stars for this. We will be running Mermen to hand in as many packs as possible. Mermen will get the design. It has not yet been decided who will be the captain of the S.S. 24/7 Trade runs.

BLACK PEARL - The most dangerous ship on the seas. Avarice, Korian, and Myself are leading the charge on this one. We will be out farming this as often as possible. If you wish to help farm this we will be glad to have you. The Black Pearl will be given out to those who help the most. (If you get the black pearl you will be required to help AT LEAST the next two people after you to farm it).

FARM CARTS - Beef is helping people get those carts. We have one completed so far. The second cart is almost completed for Richard.

GETTING TO FIFTY - If you are not fifty we are here to help you when we are not focusing on one of the other above goals.

I wouldn't use labor to level unless you're making Hereafter stones.  Its such a waste to burn all that Labor for that little exp on Iron Ingots.
Seriously. if someone has the Raw Stone, or Stone Bricks, i'll be happy to buy them a Labor Potion and Blue Salt Wedges to level up. Maybe even scrape together a EXP boost potion for it.  Its best to plan that like a week ahead so you can gather the materials, let your labor cap at 5k. and then craft 500 Hereafter stones.  Massive massive exp gain.

PRX is a good guild. They plant trees where they are farming in hasla and if you go and pull from their side they will kill you over and over again. I saw it yesterday. However they were really good with me.

Death Law - Everyone hates them it seems. I have seen people get off in trials because they were killing death law. I have also seen people insta guilty "because Death Law".

Mostly Harmless - Not much dealings with them yet.

Eastern Guardians - They were on the alpha server "Omega". They are a euro guild and were known for having a glitched tree farm under the world.

This was expected.  It was one of the main reasons we were considering to move to Lucious, where less massive guilds exist and better conditions for competitive game for AJSA at its current state. The vote ended in favor or Kryios, assuming people are prepared for things like that and wont be bothered too much.
Looks like there is nothing to do, but to try not to get into zerg way or ally with them. Even if we push everyone in the guild to 50 it wouldnt be enough. We need to put our diplomacy in use for this one

I think the lack of level 50s is more from the fact we aren't grouping to grind through quests.  In groups of 5, we would be able to hit level 50 from quest xp alone and it would be 5x faster when doing the basic kill X number of mobs.

  10. Avarice85 liked a post in a topic by Zieglobaz in Kyrios or Lucius - for and against arguments
As much as I really reeeally want to say Lucius for my own personal reasons... I think Kyrios is better for the guild.
    1) Starting over vs. starting fresh
Is it right to force the people on Kyrios to start over on Lucius? Those of us who didn't start playing until after the lockdown are starting fresh at square one no matter what. Moving the guild to Lucius involves leaving behind a lot of manhours on Kyrios with the indefinite promise of getting them back Someday™ when server transfers get added. Also, personally I think having an established guild services makes it easier to get new characters rolling, compared to having everyone leveling at the same time.
    2) Server pops
The server populations will decline. It's an immutable fact, and it happens to every single game no matter the genre. The question in whether the population will decline to the point where they start merging servers. If it does, you can bet money that the last servers added will be the first servers removed, which means doing this song and dance all over again if we're on Lucius.
    3) Competition
Others have already made this argument and I'm simply agreeing. Competition keeps things interesting. And I would rather be on the listing side of a 20v100 fight against a huge guild, rather than be on the winning side of a 20v5 preying on pubbies. The most compelling argument for moving seems to be that we'd be in a stronger position, which is meaningless if we're running from the competition to achieve it.
    4) Morale
It seems pretty clear the move is going to upset people. Without super clear evidence that a move would be beneficial to the guild (which we don't have, or else this wouldn't be a debate), I think it will do more harm than good. We planned for Kyrios, people set up on Kyrios, I say we should stick with Kyrios unless something catastrophic happens (and going 4-5 days without being able to make a character counts as a catastrophe).
The question being posed isn't just "Which server should we play on?" but rather it's "Should we abandon Kyrios and start over?"
  11. Avarice85 liked a post in a topic by tigerjack in Kyrios or Lucius - for and against arguments
I feel that we should stay on kryios.

I will now list my reasons:

#1. there is a very high probability that Lucius will become a low population server when depop time comes around in a month, where as kryios will remain a high population server

#2. if we move to lucius well have a guild split with a large portion of us staying on kryios until server transfers become available (which we have no idea when), but on kryios we can unify now and therefor get to doing the cool guild stuff.

#3 land will clear up on kryios.

#4 I feel that I was mislead and at times lied to about the server switch issue and how we were going about handling it (I wont say names), for that reason I'm partial to stay on kryios biased on principle alone.

You cannot lie to me and expect me to take your side!

No problem! If I come across more areas with notable spawns I'll let you know.

I'm nearing the harder questing areas in the game (lvl 40+) so I'm sure I'll find some spawns that I've not already seen.

The quarry by the west tip of solis headlands spawns iron ores at an insane rate or has a ton of nodes.  Even though there are always 10+ people camping them, it is actually faster than the mining area in tigerspine.

    Notable locations for trees:

Vilanelle (plenty of Maple and Cherry trees that naturally grow) Arcum Iris (mainly around water pools) Silent Forest (not that great, but the Old Trees there are vast in number)
    Notable locations for Mining

West Arcum Iris (there's a Quarry) West Solis Headlands (another Quarry) There's a bug cave full of Ores in south Ynystere
Aside from that I've noticed it's pretty hard to find wild, ripe/grown plants or trees due to other people already grabbing them. Plant spawns are pretty sporadic, but I've noticed Vilanelle has a ton of useful plants and herbs through the area on the ground.
