So you sent someone you don't know a random accusatory, and somewhat creepy, tweet based on nothing (you along with what looks like two other sock puppet accounts and two other creepy assholes making lewd comments), are upset that she blocked you because you were acting like an asshole, and are now starting a thread to say that she is might be a "fame digger" and that we should watch out for her because she didn't want to see your tweets.

How about you just don't send weird tweets to people as a member of the AJSA and don't try to start threads trying to get people upset with a person for rightfully blocking you.

It's like AJ said in his review, He was excited because DICE, creators of Battlefield, which is pretty much what Battlefront is, were making a new game, so nothing could go wrong there, right?
    Right?
I don't know honestly, i think what happened here had to do with Disney too, DICE knows how to make good battlefield games, they did not have to put much effort to do another one, but this is not the kind of game you would expect from them.
We'll see what happens in the next one...

    Yeah true.

When I told everyone that I wish the the new Battlefront should be like Battlefield games because DICE was making it, which in all honesty it pretty much is (big maps, vehicles, objectives), everyone started shitting at me and saying that would ruin the game. How about the Battlefront you got? You need to collect some fucking "points" or whatever to spawn in a vehicle. It's not Battlefront or Battlefield, it's just random shit.

People were actually very afraid of DICE this becaue they thought they would just make Battlefield just covered in Star Wars skin, which I think would of been VERY good in all honesty, because as I said, that's what Battlefront is (the old ones). They were pretty much played exact way like Battlefield except in Star Wars clothing and with Star Wars appropriate gamemodes.

I don't know if the same DICE team worked on this game as Battlefront, but yeah, I was heavily dissappointed as well. I expected better from DICE, but w/e.

As you said, math is there. Numbers are there and money is there. They got no reason to try harder for the next game, but honestly, I don't care and I will still hold my hopes up. Not in a way that I expect a true Battlefront experience, but in a "maybe they simply don't screw it up" way. I won't be optimistic nor too skeptical about it for now. We'll see.

    No campaign.
    No Space Battles.
    No purchase.

I feel ya, but sadly there won't be ANY new content at full release. Open Beta currently is like full release, only expect some bug issues and balance fixes for full release and release of ranked game mode.

I'm honestly having a blast with the game but I can understand why some people think it's bland.

Weren't we asking that to Call of Duty? Since their campaigns are "decent" (or were) we wanted a good CoD based in WWII or at least "modern warfare" setting, which is why Infinite Warfare got so much dislikes?
But instead we got more space battles in the new CoD than in Battlefront.
However, this is the kind of things you never needed until you see it. I'm really digging this one, specially those planes (hopefully you can finally controll them with mouse).

If someone signs a contract without reading it, then yes it's 110% their own fault they get screwed over. If they can't even take a bit of time to educate themselves or do a little research about what they are getting into and who they are signing a contract with, then "they didn't know any better" is not an excuse. The contract definitely says machinima wil take a cut of the money, otherwise they would be investigated for criminal charges, and be sued by every partnered channel real quick.
"It's easy to avoid getting screwed over by Machinima with this fool-proof plan i've patented. It can be yours for the easy payment of only 3 games off of my steam wishlist."
    /endInfomercial
The answer: Don't partner with them or sign a contract. Boom. Problem solved before it happens.

Also want to remind everyone if you make it past a round you are free to change any of your 5 characters. If you feel a character on your team does more harm then good then its definitely wise to replace them.

I believe the problem with Battlefront is the following:

This game is a game for STAR WARS fans, not for BATTLEFRONT fans, and that's pretty much about it.

After 10 years, there was a lot of expectations to meet that they did not, and even if you like the game or not, one must admit, the content is just lacking.

I do respect everyone who likes the game and thinks it's fun, and that's fine, it's fun playing it from time to time, but i just get bored so quickly because it lacks maps and old modes such as Galactic Conquest and Instant Action, and some of the things are not even replaced, so objetively, outside of opinions, this game does not have as much stuff in it as the previous Battlefronts, and i don't think we can argue about that, that's how it is.

And i actually played probaby over 1000 hours on my PS2 on both Battlefronts, so we can debate about that, but i believe we don't have to.

If you like STAR WARS and you like shooting from time to time, then you'll love it, it's great. But this is not a game for the old Battlefront fans, and people won't admit that. They just took the brand name because it's a popular name, but that's about it, and that's sad.

Just look at the trailers the released previously, they were so excited about making a STAR WARS game.

They weren't even aiming for a Battlefront game, they just wanted to make a fancy Star Wars shooter, and they did.

In conclusion, i don't think the game is horrible, i just think this was not what we were asking for, as Battlefront fans.

    1. I like Halo 5. The campaign could have been a lot better but I really like the game and have a blast playing at the xbox one events. I feel it was worth the $90 investment (yes thats the price for base game in Canada :'( ). As for battlefront, I don't like it but other people seem to, so good for them.
    2. If by "brainwashing" you mean "excellent marketing" (in terms of effectiveness), then yeah they want people to buy their product. Thats kinda why they spent all the money to make it. It is still the customers choice whether to buy it or not.
    3. Multi-BILLION dollar corporations don't really give a fuck about joe or his opinion. They wouldnt waste the effort with a ddos on him. Was probably some random person that doesn't like him.
    4. Some of the bashing on Joe was saying he sucks at halo so he shouldn't review it. I don't agree with that mentality he can review anything he wants. But do note that Joe is not good at halo 5 and some of the trolling was for that, not his opinions being attacked by fanboys. He got placed in bronze (you can see it in the video if you look for it) which is the bottom of the ladder. To get bronze, you would basically have to be one of the bottom players in every one of the first 10 games.
    5. "Isn't this our purpose" Everyone has a different purpose for joining the AJSA. Some are all gung-ho about videogame justice, and many just wanted to find new people to play games with.
    6. "These people bashing joe or anyone else are either trolls, idiots... People brainwashed by EA...make sure no one says anything negative" Etc. wait so you can't have a different opinion than an internet critic? What you basically said there is that your not allowed to have a positive opinion of 343 and EA or their games, and if you do, your just brainwashed. U wot m8?

Star Wars Battlefront EA gets a 4 out of 10 or 5 out of 10 at best simply because of the lack of in-game content. I'm going to throw up if they include the Clone Wars and an actual Campaign in any sort of DLC. Also, the game modes are really bland with the very small exception of a select few and if you've seen, the flying mechanics are pretty bad. Hard-to-control aircraft and auto lock blasters to compensate. They also included a homing rocket which can lock onto players and of course, it has infinite ammo(as far as I know). Obviously, I'm just summing up all the things from the beta, but there is so much more. Let's sum up what I just talked about down here.
    Pros:
-Damn wonderful graphics. Sometimes I wonder if I am playing a game or a simulation of the Star Wars universe.
-Models are authentic down to the scratch marks on the helmets of stormtroopers.
-Combat dialogue helps raise the tension of a firefight. *Minor Pro
-Dodge and weave when you are shot at or a few meters away from an explosion. *Minor Pro
-Wilhelm Screams (Once heard 5 in a row) *Minor Pro
-John Williams classic score never gets old. *Doesn't count because John Williams deserves all the credit.
    -Sound design is tremendous.
Alright, good start DICE and EA. Now let's take a look at the small list of cons.

    Cons
-Fair amount of game modes, but they are bland and unoriginal(Why did they bother with droid run besides staring at Gonk droids walking around).
    -No Campaign or Clone Wars
-How many guns in SWBF EA? I think around 11.
-90% of stormtrooper customizations involve a soldier without a helmet.
-Only a few maps for each mode. *Everyone already knew this of course. (Any other smaller maps are adaptations of the larger walker assault maps)
-Some of the game modes feel half-baked.
-You have lost connection to EA servers-please try again later.(Is this just me?)
-Wonderful voice acting Han Solo and friends!
-I've killed people from across the map with the default blaster rifle. All you need is the right lead and aim.
-Why would you include an auto-lock missile for anti-infantry when everyone already uses the impact grenade or thermal detonator and spam the hell out of them.
-I prefer actually walking up to my vehicles and entering them manually. *Everyone already knew this.
-The spawns are still horrible. There are countless times in which I have spawned from my normal spawn and have ended up in the middle of a firefight only to be killed by a stray round or explosive. *Everyone already knew this.
-Melee only is effective if you are less than half a foot away from someone and it may not connect anyway. (Seriously, I'm using a 3 1/2 foot long heavy blaster and I can't even hit anyone).
-The No Hud option should at least tell you what battle pickups you acquire when you take them. *Minor issue.
-Survival mode gets old after 2-3 games.
-Battles with the AI can only be done on small deathmatch like sessions instead of simply being allowed to play with bots on modes like walker assault.
-The amigo who bought this game for me as an early Christmas present to go with the movie cannot get his $60 back.
-This should be called Star Wars Battlefail EA.
-This does not deserve the honour of the title Star Wars Battlefront EA.
-Does EA own the license now? Are we going to ever see a good Battlefront game again?

P.S. Don't worry, he didn't suffer that much. I payed him the money back so he could get Fallout 4 FTW.

...Okay-maybe I was a little harsh to EA and DICE but I am simply returning the favor...EA

Too true. I hate this modern, ignorant attitude that so many gamers have that if it's not open world it's shit. I don't actually blame game companies for this because it's gamers that have got obsessed with and created this need that sadly needs to be catered for. But this obsession has strangled the imagination of the already creatively strangled AAA gaming industry. Liner games can still be awesome if people understand where they are strong.Look at The Last of Us, one best games of that 2-3 years if not THE best and it's a 3PS/Survival adventure game with liner level design and story progression. I'm baffled as to why this became "necessary" for any genre, but especially plotless competition types of games like racing games. It was a stupid idea 8-9 years ago with Burnout Paradise, and it's stupid idea now.

Imagine, for example, playing Titanfall and to select the game mode you wanted, let's say Attrition, you and your fire-team had to run around a hanger in a carrier trying to find the drop-ship with "Attrition" written on it. Thematic, for sure, but the novelty would wear of very quickly and would just become annoying.
