This Saturday, the 13th, we here at the EF will revisit the era of the Napoleonic Wars, with an old community favourite: EF: Mount & Blade: Napoleonic Wars event. During the event itself, we'll reconnect with old faces from the M&B: NW era in the AJSA and see how the game has aged, as well as how it compares to the newer Holdfast: Nations at War. The event itself will take place on a public server.

The event will take place this at 7pm BST/ 2pm EDT on our Discord Server.

Howdy to all out there in AJSA-land!
It’s Brandykins. AJSA Commander, Stream Team Captain...well, I’m sure you already knew that. Welcome to a (late) update on what is going on with the Stream Team for the month of February!
First up, two Stream Team members, Faizyr and Squeeks, will be teaming up to play some Rainbow Six Siege! When the exact date is announced, we will let you know as soon as we can! Just know that it will be in February!
Also, you lovely people, there will be an AJSA Podcast in the month of February! The tentative date we are shooting for is February 10th. It will be hosted on the AJSAGaming Channel on Twitch, and you’ll get to listen to members of the Stream Team talk about stuff and things. And more stuff and more things. Exact time will be announced in the near and distant future!
Random events and co-streams will be on the docket as well, and they will be announced as soon as the details on them are decided!
Want to join the AJSA Stream Team? It’s really super easy.
Stream under the AJSA Community Tag on Twitch. You will find the community here:  https://www.twitch.tv/communities/angryjoeshowarmy Are you done? Well, not yet! We do have people, including myself, that check the tag regularly, but you’ll want to make yourself known to members of the Stream Team. As our lovely Jayson said in his post on the subject:  “Find someone that may have some common ground and see if they’d like to stream some games along with you. Make yourself known to the team as someone who we’d happily accept into the group.” Have we scared you off yet? No? Great! To make the final push, we will need you to find a Stream Team member you’d be comfortable with endorsing you as a candidate for the team.
We vote quarterly to add new members to the Stream Team:  in December, March, June, and September! Thanks for reading my words and stuff. I’ll see you next month!

What Video Games Did Members Enjoy Playing in 2017?
Hey all. Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a great holiday season and that their 2017 was filled with fun, happiness, and gaming.
In this fun community project, we received opinions and votes from various members of the AJSA Xbox Division on what they enjoyed playing and what games released in 2017 they thought were their top games. For many cases, people based their votes simply on what games they played the most and/or had the most fun playing. As a result you'll see some multiplayer or online-only titles featured. Based on the votes we received, a Top 10 List was created to showcase and share with the rest of the AJSA Community.
In this list you'll see some games that in 2017 saw the Xbox Division support and rally members with several weeks and months worth of events and other gaming activities. I'm happy to these multiplayer titles that helped bring the community closer together make the list.
While we are interconnected and like to play together across a variety of multiplayer titles, members also like to enjoy single-player and story driven based experiences. I especially find it interesting that two platformers made it to our Top 10!  If members did not have the chance to vote, or they did not see the games they voted make the top 10, share instead what you thought were the top games that released on Xbox this year.
    Thank you and enjoy!

Genre: Graphic adventure Release Date: August 31st Life is Strange: Before the Storm is a story adventure set three years before the events of the first game, Life is Strange. You play as Chloe Price and form an unlikely friendship with Rachel Amber. No longer alone, the girls confront each other's demons and together, find a way to overcome them.

SpartanMaster - Great story, great voice acting,  and amazing music to fit with the game!
RequiredShoe - As a fan of the original, I was looking forward to this game, and I feel it did not disappoint. I also love these type of story games! Any fans of Life is Strange should definitely play this.
#9 - COD: WORLD WAR II

Genre: First Person Shooter Release Date: November 3rd Call of Duty: WWII returns to its roots. The game is set in Europe during World War II and in the campaign you play as a squad member of the 1st Infantry Division. You take part in their battles and experience historical events they were involved in. Multiplayer sees the return to "boots on the ground" gameplay, a welcome change after years of futuristic gunplay and movement.
    Member Thoughts
StraightUpMelon - I liked it because it was a long awaited return to “boots on the ground” that the longtime fans loved.
Chaos Gundam - Good to see Call of Duty go back to its roots without the gimmicks of future weapons, big robots and jet packs. I feel it is more skill based as you're relying on more modest forms of eliminating your enemies, which brings a sense of grittiness that fits the tone of the era.
Jaggermifter - This game had a rocky launch due to some server issues but it is a good change of pace from previous releases from the franchise. Multiplayer is great but a tiny bit too slow for my liking though it is still very enjoyable.

Genre: Stealth, Action/Adventure Release Date: October 27th Set in Ancient Egypt, you will journey to the most mysterious place in history, during a crucial period that will shape the world. Explore the Great Pyramids and hidden tombs across Ancient Egypt. You play as Bayek, whose personal story will lead to the creation of the Assassin’s Brotherhood.
    Member Thoughts
Rex8890 - To me AC: Origins did a lot right. The combat is more fulfilling and somewhat challenging but rewarding. The open world by far is Origin's greatest accomplishment by being rich in good side quests but also stunning.
Bladestalker - I picked up Assassin's Creed: Origins primarily because I'm a pretty big sucker for the Assassin's Creed games. So it was never really a question of when but if. On the whole the game was pretty good, the visual affects and the view in the world is stunning. The story is actually pretty interesting on the whole. The ending has some BIG name drops for those that have played and completed both Assassin's Creed II and Brotherhood.
    #7 - SONIC MANIA

Genre: Platformer Release Date: August 15th Play as Sonic, Tails, & Knuckles as you take on the evil Dr. Eggman! Race through new and classic Zones, each filled with tons of surprises and powerful bosses. This game celebrates the best of classic Sonic.
    Member Thoughts
EJGarza - I really enjoyed the levels, the music, playing as the three main characters, the secrets stages, the bosses and I really like that the story continues with Sonic Forces.
Crazy Greg - Sonic Mania is a blast from the past, it's games like these that show there's still dedication to a franchise. Just hope SEGA understood that after Forces.
WookieJedi - Sonic Mania is a TRIUMPHENT return to force for our favorite little blue radical dude. After a 3 year hiatus he's back and better than ever with graphics that are essentially a more polished version of the 2D graphics we all know and love gameplay that is just as fast paced and addictive as the original games. At a price point at only 20 dollars this game is not only a steal but a masterpiece and one that is essential for any gamers collection especially those that are fans of classic games as it offers that ever so popular rush of nostalgia. If you have not already bought this game you need to do so and play through it immediately.
    #6 - HALO WARS 2

Genre: Real-time Strategy Release Date: February 21st Halo Wars 2 delivers real-time strategy at the speed of Halo combat. You will lead armies of Spartans and other Halo fighting forces like Warthogs, Scorpions and new units in a brutal war. On the the ancient Forerunner facility known as the Ark (as seen from Halo 3), you will battle against a new enemy, The Banished – a powerful Brute faction led by Atriox.
    Member Thoughts
AwakeningRager -  Halo Wars 2 is a different kind of Halo experience because it is an RTS game. I feel this game was a definite improvement from the first Halo Wars and a good addition to the Halo game library. I also enjoy the artstyle of the game and did like the introduction of skill trees for various units including the return of military ranks that were seen in in Halo 3/Reach.
MrTeaNCrumpets - The cinematics in this game always left me wanting more and had me forgetting I was playing a game at times. The Banish and Atriox were really interesting foes whom I’ve come to love, with an interesting story (potentially leading right into Halo 6!). It’s something every hardcore Halo fan should play. By far my favorite leader the amazing Yapyap, the Destroyer.
Crazy Greg - Halo Wars 2 is a nice reminder of old RTS games I used to play like the Command and Conquer games, and Battle for Middle Earth games. Both in which brought me to love RTS gaming a lot.
    #5 - DESTINY 2

Genre: Shooter, Action/Adventure Release Date: September 6th The Traveler and humanity’s 'Last City' has fallen to a massive invasion force led by Dominus Ghaul, Commander of the Red Legion and Emperor of the Cabal Empire. The Guardians have lost their power, 'the Light', and struggle to mount any defense. To defeat the Red Legion, you will need to travel across the solar system to reunite the Vanguard and fight back to reclaim the Traveler and the Last City.

BdelloidWeevil - What I liked about Destiny 2 was the gameplay most of all. It was engaging, intense, challenging, and you were encouraged greatly to cooperate with other players to complete the Raid, public events and the competitive multiplayer playlists such as Trials of the Nine. The new class abilities felt much more efficient, powerful, and easier to control, to the point where - if used effectively- can shift the tide of any match. Destiny 2 focused most of its resources and gameplay on co-op including their addition of the Guided Games feature (which I haven't personally tried, but I know our AJSA Clan does). I felt the campaign of the game FINALLY had a story the fans could follow! Aesthetically pleasing cinematic sequences captivated me, and hopefully others, into enjoying the story more willfully.
    #4 - CUPHEAD

Genre: Platformer, Run n' Gun Release Date: September 29th Cuphead is triumphant a return to classic Run n' Gun action. Inspired by cartoons of the 1930's, the visuals and audio are created with the same techniques of the era, watercolor backgrounds, and jazz recordings. Traverse strange worlds, take down creative and powerful bosses, discover hidden secrets, and learn unique patterns to defeat against your enemies.
    Member Thoughts
SickShock - Cuphead is a welcome return to the old platforming game mechanics that we have seen in games like Mega Man, Contra, Castlevania, and other 2D titles we have seen in the late 80's and 90's.  However Chad and Jared of MDHR studios have put there own creative spin on the genre by hand drawing the animations in a form that resembles 1930 era cartoons.
While playing the game you can see how amazing and unique the game looks as there is nothing on the market that is this visually appealing. Not only does the game have amazing visuals but it has an amazing sound track as well. The musical tracks in Cuphead beautifully recreate jazz era music of the 1930’s and goes hand-in-hand with the games animations.
As for gameplay...it is a hard game and it is not hard to see that some games will get frustrated really fast but it is that feeling of overcoming a tough situation that encourages the gamer to continue on. As for myself I have died way to many times to count in my head during my progression through the game but visual and audio tracks of the game never made it feel as if was a grind to replay a section multiple times.
Overall the small development team at MDHR studios has made an amazing game that deserves praise for its creative design and direction. There is no doubt in my mind that Cuphead should be in every Xbox one owners top 10 list.
MrTeaNCrumpets - I really enjoyed Cuphead for many, many reasons. From the incredibly creative boss designs, the beautiful art design, right to the very catchy Jazz soundtrack. Cuphead has a true sense of accomplishment that comes with skill-based games and after defeating any boss in the game, you feel a great sense of relief.
With it being at very cheap price, having no season pass or micro-transactions, having an interesting “loadout” meta, couch co-op (and soon possibly Online Co-op), the fact everything was hand drawn and the size of the team behind it was pretty small, there’s no reason for anyone not to experience it. All of this juicy stuff makes for an incredible and memorable gaming experience for anyone.

Genre: RPG Release Date: October 17th Taking place one day after the events of 'South Park: The Stick of Truth', the game follows 'the New Kid', who has recently moved to South Park. You become involved in a roleplay involving two rival superhero groups (Coon & Friends and the Freedom Pals) and unintentionally become involved in a greater conspiracy involving the town of South Park.
    Member Thoughts
Psykogrl - South Park was definitely my favorite game of 2017. It had all the South Park sense of humor you expect and definitely improved upon their last game, The Stick of Truth. The combat was great (and coming from someone who normally loathes turn-based combat, that's saying something) and story, which picked up right where TSoT left off, was engaging enough to keep going back for more. I didn't particularly love the ending, but as a whole the story was fun!
MasterfulJoe - I’d seen the entirety of the first South Park game, Stick of Truth, on Youtube but had never gotten to play it so I know immediately when this game was revealed I had to have it. Much like the first game, The Fractured but Whole feels like you’re playing an interactive season of the show itself. The game is essentially a Superhero RPG set in South Park where you as the New Kid get to play and fight against, and alongside your favorite characters from the show. The game’s comedy is obviously, being South Park, one of the best things about it. It’s smart, witty, and never really feels forced. And the game is packed full of callbacks and references to various seasons of the show. The story too is just as great as the first, though the plots twists do become fairly obvious early on spoiling what could have been a better build up to the end of the game as the first one had.
The RPG and combat elements also seem very streamlined from the first with the abilities during combat feeling a bit repetitive as you get later into the game, though the core combat itself is greatly improved over the first game in my opinion and is super fun. South Park: The Fractured but Whole is most definitely one of my top games for 2017 being an absolutely awesome game and a worthy sequel to the first and worth every penny.
    Dylmah93 - Amazing game, I love it!
    #2 - INJUSTICE 2

Genre: Fighting Release Date: May 16th Injustice 2 continues the story introduced in Injustice: Gods Among Us. Batman and his allies attempt to repair society as they battle against remnants of Superman's fallen 'Regime'. As they battle a new threat appears that will put Earth’s existence at risk and forces former enemies to unite against this new danger.
    Member Thoughts
MythicalDragon - To start my thoughts......this game is worthy successor to Injustice: Gods Among Us. The fighting mechanics have been fine tuned. The story is fascinating. The graphics are phenomenal compared to the original since there has been time to use a new graphics engine. The multiverses, which is single player fighting events, gives wonderful rewards to those who play for fun and even better to those who are hardcore gamers. My personal favorite characters are Bane with his penchant for high damage moves that can boosted with his venom character power. As well as Green Arrow, Red Hood, and Catwoman for their maneuverability and easy to combo moves that can lead to massive amounts of damage.

Genre: First Person Shooter, Action/Adventure Release Date: October 27th America, 1961. The assassination of General Deathshead was a short-lived victory. The Nazis maintain their stranglehold on the world. You are BJ Blazkowicz, aka “Terror-Billy,” scourge of the Nazi empire, and humanity’s last hope for liberty.
    Member Thoughts
MasterfulJoe - Wolfenstein II for me was very interesting when I first saw the trailers for the game. I’d never played The New Order or really even heard of the franchise before this game but the concept behind it wasn’t one I had personally seen explored before. I felt the gameplay was seemingly inspired directly by Doom (2016) so it definitely seemed like something that I’d enjoy. This couldn’t be more true. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus has a very interesting story with lots of great characters, awesome and badass cutscenes, and a plot that in my opinion was executed very well.
Though the game does have its faults they are so far and few between I hardly noticed them. The gameplay feels a bit odd if you go into it and try to play it as if it were Doom because the gameplay feels a lot like Doom but not quite the same, as it still feels unique and is an absolute joy to play. The story had its fair share of twists and hard hitting feels and is a pretty great ride as you fight to free America from the Nazi Regime. Overall Wolfenstein 2 was one of the best new gaming experiences I’ve had this year and that is why it is my top game for 2017.
HellJumper - The gunplay is quite fun. The campaign is about 10 hours, but on higher difficulties it can be challenging. An overall improvement from The New Order.
OutRightNest - A fun and over the top take on alternate history! An improvement over the New Order and the Old Blood, Wolfenstein II remains awesome and delivers great first person shooter action. The story takes you on a wild ride and gets really strange about half way through...it'll be the biggest 'WTF Rollercoaster' you'll ride. For those who played the game, you'll know what I'm talking about!!!! For those who have not yet played it.....well why have you NOT played this game yet?

  6. QwiK liked a article by Conan, EF: Planetside 2 (Casual Op)
Coming back from our Thanksgiving/Christmas break, we're looking to ease our way into events again with a casual Planetside 2 (PC version) Op!  As you may know, Planetside 2 used to be supported within the AJSA in the past, thus a lot of our players still have their old characters on the same server. Hence we will be playing on the Emerald Server as part of the Terran Republic.
When: Saturday, the 6th of January at 9pm GMT/ 4 pm EST
Where: AJSA Discord, Emerald Server, Terran Republic
What: Our objective during this Op is to fight in a semi-serious way, whilst still having fun. During this Op the focus will be less on conquering Auraxis and more on reconnecting with a few old faces and having fun. Thus we are expecting a smaller turnout this time, as we won't advertise the event as aggresively.
    Race: Why yes? Of course.

Welcome, one and all, to the first Stream Team article of 2018!
You can expect one consistent Stream Team article at the end of every month, talking about what’s coming up for the next month, with surprise articles announcing events and the like to come at unscheduled intervals. The Streamer Showcase will also make a reappearance.
First off, I want to thank everyone for a fabulous 2017. We have enjoyed the AJSA Community coming to our streams, hanging out with us, and talking with us. We want to continue the fun in 2018. Which is why I want to let you know that members of the stream team will be hosting up their own specific events this year!
These events will be either playing with the Stream Team or playing with the community. Either way, here’s how, tentatively, the schedule will be shaping up:
Bast_50:  Bast, this year, will be hosting up some MMOs as an AJSA Community Event!
BoogerKitty:  For some summer fun, in June, BoogerKitty will be hosting a Summer Stream Party with a variety of games!
Brandykins:  I, Brandykins, will be hosting up some Tabletop Simulator near the end of January!
Eiousx:  To close out the year 2018, Eiousx will be hosting up some Killing Floor 2!
Faizyr and Squeeks:  In the glorious month of February, we’ve got the pair of Faizyr and Squeeks co-streaming and playing Rainbow Six Siege!
Grimno:  Monster Hunter World, when it is released on PC, is what Grimno will be playing!
JaysonsRage:  He’s now a Warframe addict, so look for him to be playing some Warframe with you in May.
Miss_Hottie_HeRo:  Hottie’s birthday is on April 7th, and she is going to celebrate with you and play some Fortnite!
Torozor:  Keep on truckin’ with Torozor and Euro Truck Simulator in January!

Remember the good old days, when paid for games had no microtransactions? When you actually had to work for achievements and couldn't just buy them? When EA was shitty, but not as shitty as they are now?
Well, we do and with the current ever so slightly contoversial course of the new Star Wars: Battlefront 2, we've decided to revisit the original, which just as it happens actually was the very first game featured by the EF, back in Summer of 2015 (when the first reworked Battlefront was released).
As such, we'll be hosting a session of the original, 2005 version of Star Wars: Battlefront 2 this Saturday, the 18th of November, at 9pm GMT/4pm EST on our Discord Server.

  10. QwiK liked a article by TerrorificLady, Stream Team News #11: Month of Giving--Play Games With Us!
    Howdy hi, fellow AJSA members!
This is Brandykins, newly minted Commander of the AJSA and Stream Team Captain. November is going to be a very special month for the Stream Team and the AJSA Community. Not only is the 4 Year Anniversary of the AJSA coming up, but also, the Stream Team wants to give you, the community, the chance to play games with us!
Say hello to the AJSA Month of Giving.
    What does this entail?
Streamers from the AJSA Stream Team have selected multiplayer games that they would like to play with the AJSA Community.
Check the schedule to see what streamer is streaming what games, and when.
The streams will be featured on the AJSA Gaming Channel.
Come on by and play some games and have fun with us!
This is our way of giving back to the AJSA Community and thanking you for your support of the Stream Team. Without YOU, there would be no US.
Here is the schedule, and who will be doing what. Reminders will be posted the day of the event and every event will be hosted on the AJSA Gaming Channel on Twitch! It's located here: http://www.twitch.tv/ajsagaming

    Grimno:  Warframe, November 11th, 6PM - 12AM Eastern Time
Grimno is a variety streamer who plays “anything his computer can handle”. Warframe, a free-to-play third-person shooter published by Digital Extremes, has human clones. And robots. And it’s in space. Who could ask for more?
Warframe fans, old and new, keep note of this day on your calendar!
    Faizyr:  November 13th, 15th, and 17th, 7PM - 12AM GMT +2
Going for a three-day triple threat, Faizyr, a long-time member of the AJSA Stream Team and a competitive FPS player, has plans to play Rocket League, XCOM 2, and possibly throw in some Rainbow Six Siege!
If you have any of these games, definitely stop on by on these days!
    The_Tons0Fun:  Fortnite: Battle Royale, November 14th, 6PM - 9PM Pacific Time
Tons0Fun, the man with the beard and Council Member of the AJSA, will be hosting up a free-to-play game called Fortnite:  Battle Royale! All you have to do to join is download the game from Epic Games’ website located here:  https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/buy-now/battle-royale
See who can be the last person standing!
    Torozor:  EA’s Battlefront II, November 17th, 1PM - 8PM GMT
Torozor, who in his own words, described his style of streaming as “the most mediocre video gamer”, is a variety streamer who plays pretty much anything:  FPS, RPG, Horror, you name it. On November 17th, come on by Torozor’s stream for some Battlefront II on release day!
Brandykins:  Jackbox Games, November 20th, 8PM - 12AM Central Time
Okay, so I hate talking about myself but in this case it’s necessary. As previously mentioned, I am the Stream Team Captain and newly minted Commander. I consider myself a variety streamer, with a main focus on RPGs and story-driven games. But I also lovvvve playing games with people. On this day, I will be playing The Jackbox Party Pack 4 (and any other Party Packs we might want to play)! Note:  you do not need to own the game...all you need is a phone, computer, or tablet!

With the release of Destiny 2 for PC right around the corner it’s time to officially announce the Angry Army PC Clan for Destiny 2. Now PC members of the AJSA community can join forces and tackle the challenges of Destiny 2 under a single Clan Banner. Consoles do not feel left out, as for over a month you’ve been setting a very high bar by building two large separate clans, completely all of the Clan Seasons, flying through the Nightfalls, and conquering the Leviathan Raid. While the game will be setting the challenge for the PC Division, the PS4 and XB1 Division have set the feats… up for the call to action?
All links to each Divisions Destiny 2 clan will be below.

This weeks EF event will be Secret Hitler, played using Tabletop Simulator, on Saturday, the 7th at 9pm BST/ 4pm EDT. Like always, we'll be using the AJSA Discord Server to communicate for the duration of the event.
Now if you don't know Tabletop Simulator, it is a multiplayer physics sandbox game, intended to enable players to host any tabletop games they can think of (with the help of the Steam Workshop). We'll be using it to simulate a few rounds of the game Secret Hitler, a hidden identity party game wherein players strive for the control of a country through the implementation of either facist or liberal policies. The game is over after either enough liberal or facist policies have been enacted, or if the person, who was randomly assigned the role of Hitler, gets elected chancellor after 3 facist policies have been enacted. The game requires deceit and deduction and is quite enjoyable in that sense.

  17. QwiK liked a article by WITHASTICK, Introducing PS4 Division Community Nights!
We’re happy to finally announce the latest PS4 Division project Community Nights. Over the past 3+ years Game Nights has shown us that a casual event series based around including as many people to play games together is very beloved. Game Nights goal will continue to be just that, having a different game each Saturday to include as many members in to play with each other. However, Game Nights does have it’s own drawbacks most notably supporting a single game that members are excited about with a stable flow of events. That’s where Community Nights comes in…

    What is Community Nights?
Community Nights is an event series that will run alongside Game Nights and focus on supporting games through limited run campaigns giving them their own weekly events. For example every Thursday there will be an Warframe event. These events will continue until the campaign goal has been met. Let’s say the Community Nights Warframe campaign is focus on getting members of the AJSA to end game content. Than once the majority of Warframe PS4 Division members have reached end game content the Community Nights Warframe will come to an end. This way while in supporting a game it gives the community a goal to focus on, and doesn’t let games overstay and burn players out.

    What are campaigns?
Community Nights will be conducted through campaigns for selected games. These campaigns are the goal of the Community Nights like; getting members to end game content, celebrating an in-game event, getting members through new game dlc or expansion, etc. Once the goal is met for the majority of players the Community Nights comes to an end for that game's campaign. It doesn’t mean that selected game or campaign goal will not return.

What is Community Nights first game?
Community Nights will be starting it’s 3 month testing period and our first game is Warframe. We chose Warframe because of its continue presence within the PS4 Division by many old and new members.

What other games will Community Nights have?
As of right now Community Nights will be going through a testing period of 3 months with Warframe as the only game. If the PS4 Division shows support for this kind of event series we’ll be more than happy to include other games in the future for many reasons for campaigns.

Where do members sign-up for Community Nights?
During the 3 month testing period sign-ups for Community Nights will be done directly through the PSN Angry Joe Show Army Community feature, as well as members of our PS4 AJSA Chatrooms will be get message alerts of when sign-ups begin. To learn how to sign-up for our PSN Angry Joe Show Army Community and our PS4 AJSA Chatrooms click the link: http://angryjoeshow.com/ajsa/forums/topic/31321-playstation-4-division-information/

How does someone start a Community Nights?
As of right now Community Nights can only be started by staff members of the PS4 Division. No staff member will be forced to do a Community Nights. These must be passion projects that the PS4 Division staff wants to pursue.

When will Community Nights take place?
Community Nights events start times and date are decided by the PS4 Division staff member running the events. Community Nights however will not be on days when other events are taking place. Example there will be no Community Nights on Saturdays because of Game Nights.

  22. QwiK liked a article by Conan, The Restructured EF
As threatened, we're back from our hiatus with our restructured EF. After long discussions involving not only the EF, but the entire High Command of the AJSA, we've ended up with a new concept, that we're confident will allow a more diverse gaming atmosphere. Also those of you familiar with how console events are run will probably note some similarities between the EF and the console events...
    EF Event Structure
An issue with the old EF was that we took a game, hosted it for a month and then were never able to rehost it, meaning at times we had to decide against hosting the games we liked, as we feared there was a better time for the one shot we had with it. Well no more!
We have lifted this clause of the EF and ulitmately redefined what the EF should focus on. Whilst in the old days, it was conceptiualized to elaborate different games for their suitability as an Official Game for the AJSA, we've now decided that the EF would integrate with the wider PC gaming. Now (quite similar to the consoles), we're hosting a different game every week, with the option to repeat popular games during the coming months (or whenever we feel like it). Usually these official EF events will be hosted during our usual time slot on every Saturday at 9pm BST/4pm EDT, however Game Hosts are free to alter that time to better suit their ability to host.
Aside from that, game hosts are encouraged to host smaller, more casual events during the off hours, whenever they have time and a game they want to test (Keep a lookout in the looking_for_group channel on Discord). Aside from that, we encourage members to also look for mates to join them in a game; maybe not as an event, but as a few mates gaming together,
    The EF Command Structure
With the relaunched EF, we're relying on Game Hosts. During the relaunch Brandykins1982 has stepped back from the EF to better focus on her new roles and Stream Team Captain and Commander, we wish her all the best of luck. We are relying on other members of the AJSA leadership, as well as our old guard for this new role, whilst I (Conan) oversee the game hosts and the running of the EF. Whilst we have our standard cadre of game hosts, we're also collaborating with other members of the AJSA leadership to fill in for this role on different occasions, though they will not partake in hosting events on a consistent basis. As such the current game hosts, which will host games on a more or less frequent basis are:
