The Angry Joe Store should start selling Badass Seals of Approval in sticker form to put on all the games that joe gives a Badass Seal of Approval to.

Not only would this look awesome, and connect us with our supreme leader even more, but it would be nice awareness towards Angry Joe.

Imagine that you are about to play Destiny when your friend notices the Badass Seal of Approval on it and says "Woa, that's cool, who is this guy?"

BAM! 2 weeks later we have ourselves another brother (or sister) in the AJSA.

Angry Joe could also give discounts on the day he releases a review of a game worthy of a Badass Seal of Approval.

This isn't as much of a suggestion as it is a call to arms, or, likes in reality.

I notice that even the most popular pages have 1-2 likes, if any. This is not a good thing. Everyone here at AJSA should take the time to like a post if they are in agreeence with it, especially when it comes to posts about suggestions.

This will help strengthen the community. While it might be the slightest of things, it still helps distinct certain posters and specific posts out from others.

So, if you agree with me, please do leave a like and some feedback.

the couple of big issues I have with Watch Dogs...
1.) It doesn't feel next gen, this feels like a game meant for the Xbox 360 and PS3 that made it to the gate late so they spit shined it and released it as if it was always suppose to be a next gen game.
2.) The one button hacking is so boring I literally lost all ambition to complete the game.  I would have loved to the see something similar to the Assassin's Creed IV hacking minigames.

I am sure there will be some who will love the game, but I just couldn't get into it...maybe had I not played Infamous Second Son before Watch Dogs I wouldn't have know there was so much better out there.

I honestly hate the online. Free roam is horrible, you can't kill other players but you can blow up their cars and prevent them from getting up, which is twice as annoying in reality, since you can't stop them by killing them.

Invading is a good concept on paper but it's very lackluster. There is no uniqueness to it, it is the same thing about each time and can be incredibly annoying when I am trying to go to the store and I can't because I am getting hacked.

I was so disappointed by the online. If they made it so you could play poker, do drinking games, play darts, etc. in the online, it would be so much fun. You can't however. In fact, your friends can't even see what your guy looks like! There is no customization in the long run. You get generic cars and you play generic game modes.

The game is old-gen, doesn't deserve to be called a next-gen game, and isn't going to compete at all once GTA V comes out for ps4.

Not to bash on the game, it's fun, but my expectations were a little to high for me to enjoy it anymore. To be fair, this is the one game that I had full rights to have high expectations for, especially when games like GTA V raised the stakes.

My guess is Ubisoft didn't expect a GTA V for next-gen, and as such, figured people would enjoy watch dogs or a long, long time because they have no other options. My guess is Rockstar waited to see how watch dogs turned out before they even decided to announce GTA V for next gen. So in a way, Watch Dogs being an "ok" game allowed for GTA V to come to next-gens.

To all of you who actually love the multiplayer, I envy you I wish this was a game I could seriously get into. If Ubisoft did justice by the game and did some overhauling of the multiplayer, i'd love that!

Nope, Shenron tells Goku and others that you have to be a pure-hearted Sayians. Oddly Vegeta counts as one.

I've only just begun writing the first chapter and prologue. However, most of the lore and history is already written. I've already developed specific models of stiv manipulators, with their origins, and guns (that connect to the stiv manipulators and use stiv as the munition instead of bullets), along with their origin. Also, the entire history behind each specific civilization is done, and i'm currently working on all the character's backgrounds first and foremost.

Backgrounds and lore comes first, storytelling comes next. That being said, i'd love to have the book published one day, as it is actually inspired by a very, very good friend of mine, but if years and years go by and I am constantly rejected publication despite adjustments being made, i'll simply post it online for free so that all may enjoy.

If a new series of Dragon Ball Z does happen Akira Toriyama wont let there be a SSJ 4- whatever number there is now. Akira Toriyama had little to nothing to do with GT and when asked about SSJ4 he express great hate for it. After Battle of Gods Akira Toriyama has said the only cannon SSJ forms are SSJ 1, SSJ 2, SSJ 3, and now SSJ God which is the final/highest form. Another reason why GT got written out by Battle of Gods.

Without a doubt! But I hear you out on the whole fighting mechanics being alot of button mashing. Even in Budokai you could say it suffer from that. But not as much as the last few installments I have seen. Like I said if they want people to be somewhat happy I say try doing Budokai style of fighting but update. No more set pieces where we feel like actors in a movie. It's not fun in Dragon Ball Z, leave that stuff for a David Cage game like Heavy Rain. When I am playing Dragon Ball I am a fan, I want to do fan things. I want to have a World Tournament where I could fight Cell, Broly, Kid Buu, Ultimate Gohan, Mr. Satan, and so on. I want to time out the Kamehameha wave, not wait for when I have to do it cause the game told me too.

I remember in one of the Budokai's when your SSJ2 Gohan fighting Perfect Cell for the last time, you can beat him up, kai blast him, kick him doesn't matter. You still get the same ending. But if you finished him with the Father Son Kamehameha Wave it would give you a bonus level. See that's fine let us play Dragon Ball Z on our own way. Don't force us to do Father Son Kamehameha Wave and mashing the A button cause "its so real!"

In the end I love Dragon Ball Z, like I said before I would be interested to see if this character can be carried over to the "maybe happening" new series for Dragon Ball Z. But it might not, it might be like you said just a character just for this one game. Which if that's the case fine by me, its just another character in the Dragon Ball Z lore. Might not be cannon lore but lore nonetheless.

I will say Vegeta is my favorite Dragon Ball Z character! He never gets much credit for the shit he does, until Kid Buu shows up.
  17. Shadow Paladin liked a post in a topic by Mondez in Can We Please Make a Sub-Forum for Destiny BETA?
The AJSA is a PC orientated community, so don't count on any console only game to be officially supported, unless there's a huge player base & somebody who's willing to step up to the leadership position. Next, Planetside 2 is a fully released game for the PC, which is what we support. So as the reply earlier states, the PS4 gamers were given their own sub-forums to avoid confusion, between the two.

As for a sub-forum for Destiny, that is only going to happen if the game gets officially supported, and we don't normally officially support games in the making, aka, beta's alpha, etc. So my suggestion to you is simple, bring this up again, once you have a complete game available.

Berserker: What is that thing under your name saying "560 excellent"?

ISNeko: My current novel is called the Red Horizon Project. It is a book about a species of humanoid beings that exist on the planet of Nernethus. Once upon a time there was a Great war between a tyrant government that ruled over the entire planet and most of space against a group of rebels that wanted to be free. In time, the tyrant government came across a new plasma they called "Stiv." After years of research, scientists discovered that injecting stiv into your bloodstream would make their predecessors be born with stiv in their blood. Stiv could be used for weapons on augmentations, called Stiv Manipulators, and can be used to create any chemical reaction imaginable. However, a side effect was that the Nernethian's life span would be shortened from an average 500 years to an average 60-80 years.
The Tyrant government used this new weapon to nearly win the war, but the rebels also got their hands on immense new weapons. They called them, "Nuclear Weapons of Mass Destruction." It's amazing power was unlike anything ever seen before.
in a fit of despair and fear of losing the war, the rebels used the nuclear weapon, however, they were unaware of it's radius taking up most of Nernethus.
Thanks to money, the rich among the tyrant government survived. 90% of nernethians were stiv-borns at this time.
After the release of the nernethians from their vaults, at varying times, civilization sprung up again, and soon everyone was stiv-born.
There was a minarcho capitalistic society, a tyrannical advanced technology civilization, and a warrior society civilization. None of these civilizations could even compare to the immense technologies of the Golden Civilizations of Old, before the great collapse due to the nuclear warhead.
The story follows Corvus Serpentis, who lives his life n the capitalistic society as a developer of consumer grade Stiv Manipulators. As life goes on, he grows into a dark depression as he realizes he is somehow outliving his wife, his son, and his son's children.
In a fit of rage he attempts to kill himself by removing all stiv augmentations, only to realize his body has fully evolved and adapted to them and he is now able to manipulate it without the use of augmentations.
Furthermore, Corvus has unlocked an ability of clairvoyance, able to see a short distance into the future uncontrollably. What he sees horrifies him.
He sees the tyrant advanced technology civilization launching a nuclear warhead under the code name "Red Horizon Project."
Corvus goes out on an immense journey to try and stop this cataclysmic event, and along the way he will discover what the effects of war have on these civilizations and it's people, dying out slowly while trying to prosper.

Another benefit to liking posts more is that it can connect you to people who liked the same posts as you. In fact, if you hover over that persons name, it pulls up their profile info in a mini window.

Furthermore, It's also just nice knowing that important posts are getting recognition they deserve.
  24. Shadow Paladin liked a post in a topic by Berserker in More Next-Gen Forum Pages in Future
The reason for there being more PC related forum pages Is because the AJSA primarily Is a PC oriented community. And because of that all the games we Officially Support are on PC.
But we do have a Community Officer for the PS4 part of the Community, and several people are working hard to organize more events for the X1 people as well.

You do have a good suggestion though, and I hope we'll support more games for the consoles in the future, but right now there's not a whole lot of use for more pages.

Liking posts do seem to become less and less popular, but I think It's a neat feature to have. So yeah sure, like some more posts people.
Gomly has the highest amount of likes for a member second only to Joe himself with over 1200 likes. Maybe people can try to break the record, and make more likable posts. Hell, If someone manages to crack Gomlys record, I'll buy you a game on Steam.
