    Summary:
Early game - fast levelling, easy objectives. Base building not very necessary.
A couple difficulty levels later - base building and weapon levelling become more necessary. Levelling becomes slower and the repetition can be more apparent.
Overall a fun game i still want to go back to on a daily basis.

    Day 2:
So i've played for about 17 hours now and can confirm the difficulty does ramp up. The areas have power levels which indicate their difficulty 5 to 9 to 15 so far and by level 15 you definitely need to pay more attention to building a base. You could pretty much get flawless completion with a wall around your objective and the 4 of you defending but zombies become harder to kill and the addition of the occasional new enemy makes you have to think about leveling up your weapons and building layers of defences.
The grind is definitely apparent once you get to these levels though. While through the earlier levels you're getting V-Coins and pinata's left and right as you complete objectives frequently it slows down a lot by this 3rd ramp up in difficulty.
I'm still having fun but when you're not earning new rewards as often the repetition does make me consider taking a break. But today i'm back at work and want to get back for at least a few more games.

    Day 1:
So I've played Fortnite for about 1.5 days and I'm having a lot of fun with it. It seems a bit easy but I'm assuming as you get into higher level areas that will change. There are a LOT of campaign missions but they're pretty much all the same Find the spot, build a base on the spot, defend the spot sometimes with an additional mission parameter added like find X number of survivors or find the 4 trap parts. I can see this getting old for some people.
You are always levelling up something. You have your heroes, your survivors, your weapon/trap schematics, a collection book (you place 1 of each item/person in the game into what's like a sticker book but you lose that item from your inventory), AI base defenders.
I don't know how end game will play out. My imagination takes me to building castles with jump pads and being besieged by hordes of zombies and hard enemies penetrating layers of traps and your party picking them off from towers  but who knows.
There are about a little under 40 missions in the 1st area and I've seen mention of 4 areas in total. I wonder if more areas will be added later as it's supposedly in early access (though I heard rumour that is just so they could avoid the PS+ requirement to play, and the money for founders packs probably doesn't hurt either)
If like me you like levelling up heroes and weapons, smacking open piñata's hoping to get some legendary loot then you will really enjoy Fortnite.
If you tire easily of the same mission type again and again maybe wait for it become free imo.
I've still got a lot to play, see how the other areas compare. Oh and there are tech trees to unlocking features and boosting stats. The trees are HUGE so I expect that there is content to compare.

Looks Amazing. Can't wait for it to be released. The universe they're creating with the movies and anime as well is interesting and I'm looking forward to them both but time will tell.

Yeah I hate this too and I really hate it when someone says that it's part of the challange or part of the game. Bugs and glitches aren't part of the game. When a player himself is using a bug or a glitch to kill something or pass (generally in all games) it's considered cheating. Same thing for enemies, if they can hit you through walls, it's not cheating since it's an NPC but it's just either a bug or a bad design they didn't pay attention to.
Like yesterday I was fighting one of the crystal monsters and it spit the ice fog at me and I hid behind a wall and it just passed through it and damaged me for like 40% HP

However I've experienced this in DS1 and now DS3 and I kinda doubt it will be fixed lol

Thanks Bleeding. Might give it a go at the weekend. Been playing Xcom on my Vita while catching up with TV lately. The epitomy of lazy weekends.

After years of conference's showing off demos and gameplay, No Man's Sky finally has a released!
It's been nearly over 3 years since we first saw No Man's Sky. Think about that, and in that time so much has happen to the game. A flooding that took nearly the whole project right after the start, a secret lawsuit from an English cable company known as SKY, Sean Murray and his beard! But after so long of a wait we are finally here, able to explore a unknown and new universe. A dream many of us when we were young (Hell even today) share, each time we looked up to that star lit night sky. Whether you are interested in the game or not, the concept of what this game was and became is an impressive work of accomplishment. Now if you excuse me... I got some exploring to do!

Oh, I'll leave the new No Man's Sky Launch Trailer, and No Man's Sky announcement trailer from all those years ago... just to show the journey to get here.

Don't know which one I will choose but my money is on Broforce winning as I've seen articles and previews of it over recent months whereas I've not heard of the other 2 until now.

Yeah I agree with anyone who decides to wait and see, it's a good policy to have due to the shoddy releases over this generation and i urge anyone to do so at the best of times.

With this new DLC coming I wanted to also give other information that people might not know thats happening. For starters the devs have also announced an enhanced edition Including all the DLC, Graphics and Animation upgrades and also free new missions.
Finally those who own the original version of the game the graphics and animation upgrade and the free missions will go to the original version in a free update that will come around the release of The Following DLC.
There is however one thing all should know the season pass has been increased in price due to The Following DLC being bigger than originally planned. The price is now $19.99/€19.99/£15.99 If you owned the season pass before the price increase then you WILL NOT have to pay any extra money.

I am looking forward to the Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Special Edition (Not the statue one).
The one with the special steel book case and art book.
The steel book case design won me over.

Dark Souls 3 collector's edition (I'm also looking to get the Prestige version when I get the chance ever)

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End with the statue

    Overwatch (maybe)
  20. WITHASTICK liked a post in a topic by HeroEightyTwo in What Collectors Editions are you looking forward to?
So I've put money down for the Overwatch collectors edition and like the look of Mirrors Edge Catalysts CE.
Trouble is I never played the original Mirrors Edge so I'm hesitant to put money down for the CE. But I'm a sucker for a cool statue/figurine coming with my game.
I've noticed quite a few Collectors Edition coming out this year:
    Dark Souls 3 (Statue)
    Uncharted 4 (Statue)
Tom Clancy's The Division (Has a Watch )
    Far Cry Primal
    Life Is Strange
    Deus Ex Mankind Divided (Statue)
What if any are you looking forward too?

I think we should all wait until all "episodes" are released before buying if that's the way they go. But I like to think that they will go they way of Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VII.2, Final Fantasy VII.3.
As for exploring and recruiting optional allies, my guess would be they won't be optional anymore. Lets face it Vincent has had his own game and featured fairly prominently in Advent Children. Yuffie not so much.
And as for finding the Ultima / omega Weapons they will probably be locked to later discs as you will likely not be able to take their first punch given your level on disc 1 or 2.
This is my hope anyway. I really, really, really hope they don't do a strictly linear path like in a telltale game.
I remain optimistic but cautious and don't expect anything for a looooooooooong time anyway.

I didn't play it. BUT I have heard a lot of people talking about it. For me it sounds like they could just fix the balancing issues and a some minor grievances and it could be a very good game for the majority of people.
I have Battlefield 4 and I'm not a big Star Wars fan so this wont be replacing BF4 for me but I think most star wars fans will be accepting at least of this title.
