As you might have noticed this website has no ads, to design a video player and have it hosted here to play copyrighted videos would prevent Joe from earning ad revenue on his videos, which is how he earns a living. Even if we did have ads (which we wouldn't) they would not earn any revenue to justify making the video.

AJSA Xbox One - Destiny - Our Age of Triumph Plans & Notes [April 2017]
Since we rebooted our AJSA Destiny operations here on Xbox One in October 2015, Destiny has grown to be one of our most prominent games within the community. You, the ‘Angry Guardians’, ventured across the Galaxy and overcame every challenge that was put in your way. Destiny’s latest Age of Triumph content update will be the next, and final, chapter of our adventure within this game’s universe. It will be our own ‘Age of Triumph’!
I’m pleased to share with you our plans and goals going forward with concerns to events, Raid groups, and squad activities. The new content drop will bring back several revised and improved Raids, a new Record Book, Daybreak Strikes, and more.
During events, on top of our current activities, we will be able to
- Run daybreak strikes
- Run new max level Challenge of Elders (PoE)
- Work on completion of new record book challenges
For members who don’t have Rise of Iron/Age of Triumph, they as always will be welcome to participate even though main focus will be on AoT activities. Just like how we do now, separate squads will be designated by the host to accommodate those without any DLC.
With the new activities being added for Age of Triumph, main content focus will be shifted over to PvE for events to try and complete as much of the new content as possible as a group.
I hope we can have a great time running all this new content and that it will keep us busy for a good couple months at least!
All Destiny event information on the Xbox One, including event times and dates, are in this thread:
- Let us aim to get as many members as possible leveled up to light level 400
- As a group, cover all the new content each event besides Raids
- Establish an official Raid Event Night towards the end of the month
- For members who want to do the Raids: getting them ready to do raids, gearing up, learning mechanics, running old raids for practice etc
- Completing Raid challenge modes (a boss will have a special challenge to complete on them for a substantial extra reward)
- Establishing a regular Raid team to run new content and reduce the need for LFG
One of, if not the, central highlight of the Age of Triumph is the revamped Raids. Destiny is bringing back all the old Raids and bringing them up to current light levels. New gear, equipment, and other goodies will be awarded to Guardians who now complete these Raids (such as Vault of Glass).
While the revised Raids will be exciting, they will be very difficult. Members who wish to participate during any official Raid Night or squads during non-event hours must know that there will be certain requirements you have to achieve before attempting to do a Raid.
For instance, Crota and VoG will require at all times a sniper rifle for all Raid participants. Requirements like this were standard for groups to have back when these Raids were current content. Maintaining certain standards like this will help us complete the Raid in a smoother fashion.
A date for an official Raid Event will be announced later. Outside of events I do plan to try and run the new 390 recommend light raids on a regular basis. I’ll be asking around at the events for members who are interested in participating. Don’t hesitate to contact me yourself!
Contact me with any questions regarding anything I outlined above and/or if you have an inquiry about any of the upcoming events.

I'll most likely be joining up, multiplayer games I'm currently playing are Battlefield 1 and TitanFall 2. I just need to kill the lazy habit and move my headset from the room connected to my PC allll the way to the living room where my Xbox One is. If I don't join this week definitely during the weekend...Mass Effect got me hooked again.

Hey man welcome to the angry army, glad to have you on board! And hey, I'm not exactly a big fan of CoD either (at least not the new ones anyways) so you aren't alone on that. If you're on xbox hit me up and we can play something sometime but if not I'm sure there are plenty of people on PC and PS4 to play with. But hey feel free to add me on steam if you want, if I'm on maybe we can play some team fortress 2 or something since that's about the only online multiplayer game I have on PC lol. Anyways it's good to have you with us, welcome!

Hey guys! I'm Dragoninja! I'm more of just a dragon, but that SN is taken, can you believe it?!
Anyways, I play a crap load of games. Most (I lied, ALL) of the games I play are online multiplayer games.
I need people to play with. I'm (honestly) really good at shooters and action games.
I play a lot of Battlerite and BF One. Really, any shooter except CoD. I don't really like that game. I mean, I hate it but I'm trying to not be offensive here.
Anyways, (again,) my Steam name is (MBoG) Dragoninja. My EA Origin crap is Dragoninja833.
Feel free to add me! I might stop in and say Hi on the TS soon, too.
I would just like to get to know some people and find some new peeps to play games with.
Games are always better with other people, and best with people you know.
Hit me up!
(BTW I'm very competitive, meaning I really like competitive games. I'm pretty friendly if you're on my team though. Meaning, if you're not the best, I won't be mean about it. I might suggest some alternatives if your playstyle is holding you back, but I won't bash you for sucking.)
Say hi back!

How Are Groups Managed During Events?
During events there will be up to three to four squad leaders who will assist the host in leading groups and taking AJSA forces into battle. Each group will engages in a variety of activities. There is normally a PvP group for Crucible and the others are PvE squads where they engage in a variety of strikes, dailies/challenges, story missions and helping fellow members rank up.

No. DLC is not required to participate during events. You will be placed in a group, led by a squad leader designated by the host, that will engage in non-DLC PvE and PvP activities.
How Can I Join An Xbox One Event? - For new members/first time event participants, I highly encourage you to add all the hosts as your friend on Xbox Live (Gamertags are listed for every host below). All Xbox Live event parties are open and participants can join freely without restriction. Communication is done primarily in the Xbox Live Party system. We accept and make adjustments for people who are shy in large groups and/or for people who have no mics.
If you do not have the host as a friend, please message the host for an invite to the game/party during the event and then exchange friend requests upon entry to the party. Most, if not all, event parties will be visible to all Xbox Club members. Look under "Looking for Group" at the start/during an event to view the event party and join up.
If you would like to give advance notice to the host that you would like to play, you are free to do so. Otherwise keep note of the event start times and join the host's Xbox Live party to begin. If you have any questions, please contact me directly at "RuneX" on the forums or on Xbox Live.

I'm not a fan of Blizzard, but nonetheless they are still one of my special triple A devs and one of the better ones IMO. I've never been a huge fan of their games, but one thing I loved was the stories and art decisions and paths in their games. That shit was ALWAYS amazing. Seeing this guy leaves makes me sad.
He really did pick a good time for retirement. This year has been crazy good for Blizzard and he stayed with them until the very end and didnt leave them in the dust.
You can read his entire farewell here: http://us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/20749157269
I wonder what impact this will have on future Blizzard content now.
And nope, this is not one of the guy's joining Bonfire studios. He is retiring from the industry completely.

I originally played when it first came out on PC 6 yrs ago, and it was a subscription based game. So I am definitely trying it out on XBox, since I know they have made some major updates since it first came out... It was very very glitchy on PC and they made the move to free to play 2 years after it was released. It always seemed like it would be easier to move with a controller vs a keyboard/mouse (especially in the landing party portions) but that is just my personal opinion.
I can honestly say I'm not sure how easy it is to earn the in game credits, but since it is by the same company who does Neverwinter for Xbox as well (Zenimax) I'm sure there will be some in-game method to earn the currency because they can be earned in game in Neverwinter.
I'll be making a character in a little while I think to try it out.

Last night was one of those wake up at 4:30am even though I fell asleep at 1:30am. Ok, fine, GG. As there was no way I was getting out of bed, I grabbed my tablet and scrolled through my recommended videos on YT. That's where I spotted this video. As we discussed this earlier this summer, I felt I should share it here.
I don't know how I feel about the video as I haven't played BF1, although, the idea of the new conquest sounded like it was ripe for exploit. We're bound to see no killing conquest severs there only for ranking-up players. #theydunfuckeditup?
MasterfulJoe101 liked a post in a topic by Bamboe in Changes to Conquest for BF1
This new Conquest does somehow feel more WW1-y. It feels less like asymmetric warfare, and more like conventional warfare. WW1 was said to be the last conventional war.
I think it's important to state that objectives capping does matter in classic conquest. The amount of tickets required to redeploy increases if the enemy team holds more flags than your team. This manner of accounting for objective control is in my opinion more sophisticated. I will also go as far as to say that it is what separates Battlefield from COD. I am afraid that the modification to the conquest game mode is a way to water down the complexity that made Battlefield a game I really enjoyed. I am also afraid that Dice is rebranding Battlefield to be less about making a good unique game that gamers love, and more about making a generic game that will make them loads of money. Is Dice trying to dominate the shooter genre at the expense of "good-game"-making?
With all that said I am optimistic that the modified conquest in BF1 might change Battlefield for the better. Maybe gamers will adapt to the new conquest and never look back. I only hope that this isn't the first step in the deconstruction of the Battlefield francise, from the stand point of Battlefield players, in order to attract a new fan base.
MasterfulJoe101 liked a post in a topic by SgtMerrick in Changes to Conquest for BF1
I think this is a positive change. It makes the Objective far more important than just slaying blokes. That way lies a glorified Team Deathmatch.
However, by the same token I do like the old system too. I see them representing different things.
The old system is more like a war of attrition, with both sides having limited resources (aka tickets) that they can deploy into the battlefield. Killing and destroying the enemy is just as important as holding ground as it's all about who can deplete the opposition's supply line first.
The new system is like two spearheads meeting each other. They have the manpower and the equipment but they need their men to have the skills to hold the important points of the battlefield as well as push forward to drive the enemy off of theirs. The objectives are much more important than killing the enemy and battlelines will need to be drawn and advances orchestrated to make progress.
That's what I get from it anyway, and hopefully the thinking was to make it more WW1-y by having players required to defend their ground rather than just rushing off to the next one.
MasterfulJoe101 liked a post in a topic by AJSA Valkyrie in Changes to Conquest for BF1
Well if they changed the way conquest played out then that means you can set aside you kill streak thoughts and rush to the hardpoint. For me this is a good thing since I don't need to kill people in the game to advance in the mode.
MasterfulJoe101 liked a post in a topic by Bamboe in Changes to Conquest for BF1
Level Cap has recently uploaded a video sharing his opinion of the changes Dice have made to the much loved Conquest game mode in Battlefield One. Apparently tickets will no longer count down. Instead, players will receive points for capping objectives towards a team score. Points count up and the first team to score a given amount of points wins. This was described by Dice as a way to make Conquest in Battlefield more accessible. I want you to watch Level Cap's video and share your thoughts of whether this is a good or bad change.
Here is the video:

Personally I like the changes, the score now makes a little more sense. I think the score change is a good thing, people won't focus just on kills, the objective is now the priority, I think it brings a more realistic vibe to Battlefield. This change will make people work together and coordinate to the team that kills and stats isn't everything. Its about capping the flags and getting a win. A good change to the BF series in my book.
MasterfulJoe101 liked a post in a topic by Legolas_Katarn in should you pre order destiny rise of iron
No real reason to unless you know you are going to enjoy something and a preorder is going to give you a discount. I preorder PC games all the time (XCOM 2, Total War Warhammer, Deus Ex Mankind Divided, Battlefield 1) but I do that because I've seen gameplay and expect to enjoy them and because I can get $15-$25 off by doing so on top of small preorder bonuses.
MasterfulJoe101 liked a post in a topic by N00banaga in Warcraft: Legion. temp AJSA temporary return?
Seeing as there have been no other topics on the subject of a guild, other than a rant topic, I decided to pop one up!
Much like Warlords expansion, shall we have a Angry Joe Show Army guild, just like on WoD launch? I don't expect it to live beyond a few months because that's usually the amount of time people sub to WoW for anyway, before extended inactivity.
I've made mention and popped the question above, but there hasn't been meaningful feedback, nor any official announcements from our Angry Council. For now myself, and everyone, can only speculate. I don't expect the game to go official support, but perhaps a temporary 'community' game. Plus, officership and so-on would be required, but likely none willing.
MasterfulJoe101 liked a post in a topic by MesaTheWise in Is Destiny rise of iron killing any redeemable values for PS3 and Xbox 360 destiny gamers?
Considering that the 360 and PS3 are being discontinued, it only makes sense from a purely business stand point. I know that's not what everyone wants to hear, but the fact of the matter is the same people that they will have to dedicate to working on the 360 and PS3 versions of the expansion can be put on various other projects or different departments within the Destiny team to supplement the work they're doing there rather than focus on projects for consoles that are no longer being produced. From a consumer stand point, that sucks. From a business point of view, though, this is the natural progression of things and will eventually have to be done anyway or pour more money into a platform that's already been put out to pasture.
I have seen that Bungie is looking to give those who play on last gen consoles an upgrade somehow, but they'll surely release more information on that as it becomes available. To sum it up, I'm not sure if I can hold Bungie accountable from this move, but I can definitely see why this would have people upset, especially if they've been dedicated players of the game since launch.
Hold your head high, though, Guardians. I'm sure the Traveler will come up with something to deliver you from this fate.
