Gotta say if everything was this expensive in Skyrim I'd have something to use all this money on.

This isn't another documentary about how the Illuminati is secretly controlling everything with Reptillian Shapeshifters is it? Because I'm so sick of those.

As with Crab I'll keep my opinions to a bare minimum. I have not seen the movie, but personally I think anything that tries to paint Christianity as a power grab and manipulation tool is mostly hogwash (or perhaps jealous they didn't think of it first?).
Yes, religions can get really messed up, tends to happen whenever you've got an invisible deity who doesn't appear to get directly involved that often, if ever. However, I personally believe that the tables are reversed: it started with this pretty simple God-and-Man relationship and someone somewhere said "hey, people really eat this up, it wouldn't be too hard for me to manipulate it for my own gain." Because that's pretty much the nature of man.
Anyway, short answer: the world is messed up, but I'm comfortable enough in my own faith to believe there's a better life beyond death. *shrug*

I believe the conversation went somthing like this:
"Seriously, this is what you do with your time and money? You're 34 and never seen a woman naked in real life outside a strip club! Get a life!"

Apex Spartan liked a post in a topic by PlasticFrogCG in Skyrim Special Edition "enlightining" Fallout 4 players and exposing Fallout 4 (I'm just venting)
I haven't messed with Skyrim: SE because there is no mod support.
Whenever a new Bethesda game comes out I always play it through vanilla first (unless there is some glaring issue like a wonky interface or bad camera controls), but after I've fiddled with a few mods there is no going back!
I finally got my old Skyrim working again after doing a complete uninstall. I highly recommend using the Character Creation Overhaul pair with Random Alternate Start, it skips the opening scene with Alduin in favor of having you just start at a random location somewhere in Skyrim. Use the Journal of the Dragonborn mod to record your adventure and you have a awesome immersive RPG experience that is truly your own!

I was a little surprised by how few mods I reinstalled. Most are purely cosmetic, but there are a few that I just can't play without. Most importantly I discovered the Random Alternate Start and the Character Creation Overhaul. The first lets you skip the boring intro at Helgen in favor of dropping you at a random starting point on the map, the second makes character creation a lot more like it was in Morrowind and Oblivio (something that I really missed in Skyrim).
Everything is working great and i was having fun playing a Khajiit assassin who was left for dead by her comrades...until I tried to go to Riften and the game kept crashing before the city was even in sight.
Based on what I've read it's not a mod problem and may have no fix.
Now I remember why I stopped playing Skyrim

So...I couldn't wait until the 28th and the release of Skyrim Special Edition. Of course since I'm playing on PC I may not even need to get it, because mods still make the old one look better.
But when I started it up last night I kind of realized my mod list was a total mess. So I trashed the whole thing, including old saves. Time to rediscover this game if I can!

While we're at it let's not forget the most high budget parody of Star Trek years before JJ Abrams showed up.
Come to think of it a lot of good parodies happened in that episode...

If my avatar wasn't G'Kar it would be of Crichton. Second best show I've seen.
I played the game maybe 11 years ago, not very good from what I remember.

I have lots of fond memories of flipping through the manuals for Warcraft, Diablo and Starcraft just to look at Metzen's artwork! Face it, the way Blizzard games look the way they do was because of this guy. Sad to see him go.

Credit where credit is due, they DID fix it!
I'm still kind of angry they let it slip before release, but I do have to thank Bethesda that they fix their mistakes.

Apex Spartan liked a post in a topic by PlasticFrogCG in Fallout 4 vs Skyrim mods
Yeah, I've noticed it too.
I did find a lot of gameplay tweaks that I've been enjoying, especially in survival mode, but compared to Skyrim, Oblivion or even New Vegas the mods just haven't been as impressive as I thought they were going to be.
And then there's the whole "mods on consoles" problem that's still going on. I play on PC, so it isn't an issue, but from what I read the system restraints presented by Sony pretty much guarantee most mods will never be available on PS4.
I think a big problem was that Bethesda really changed the format of the game with the settlement building mechanic. As much as it is fun, I would have rather seen them put that in a stand-alone game and just leave Fallout as a classic RPG. In fact, recently I've really been pining for a classic RPG from Bethesda (where you actually choose a character class instead of just developing one through gameplay).

yeah but if you want that you might as well go and install freelancer, a bit dated now but so far (even in its uncompleted state) its a the best space fighter games ive ever played. Not to mention it has all that you listed and its easily moddable.

mysticdragon97 liked a post in a topic by PlasticFrogCG in Fallout 4's Worshop DLC Disappointing for limiting Itself to One Game Feature.
I have to admit I am still playing Fallout 4 even this long after its release. I've only finished the main story once, but when survival mode became official I instantly started a new game. And yet, overall, I have been very disappointed with the game as a whole.
Many of the "features" that were released with the workshop DLCs were already available as mods before they came out (my own game had been heavily modified with them). While I know this allows the console players access to some cool settlement things, the consoles suffer incredibly from the size limit you mentioned (which I have modded to near infinity on PC).
There have been so many little problems in this game that I'm not entirely sure the development team actually knew what they wanted to do. It feels very much like they intended to use the settlement material for a standalone game and then some higher-up cut their budget and forced them to jam the two games together.
All I can say for certain is that I REALLY hope they decide NOT to go in the same direction for the next Elder Scrolls game.

I don't think the trailer looked that bad. I like the WW1 setting and Chris Pine is an entertaining actor at the very least (yeah, I do love his portrayal of James T. Kirk in the reboot).
But I agree with you on the comics. While I'm all for strong female characters I've always thought thrusting them front and center and bad-mouthing men at the same time is just plain stupid. If you really want to foster an attitude of equality you need to portray BOTH genders as competent.
Also agree with the casting. While Gadot is pretty (and I rather enjoyed all the Fast and Furious movies for all their over-the-top silliness) I think a much better choice would have been someone like Gina Carano, who has proven multiple times that she can pull off the badass chick!
