  1. Looks like Destiny 1.5, in my opinion. I see no innovation or differences whatsoever from the gameplay they've shown and I also believe it'll end up with a large amount of microtransactions like CrazyCrab has said. Bleh. I think I'll pass until it's around 15-20 bucks total for the game+the countless DLCs they'll release throughout the next year or two.
  2. I would guess a 5. Not bad, but certainly not good. I would love to be wrong about this game and it turn out to be just as good as the previous ones but that seems highly unlikely.
  3. The only MMO I can think of that hasn't already been named is Path of Exile which plays similar to Diablo and it has one of the best business models in the F2P market. If you're interested in looking at upcoming F2P MMOs, here's the ones I know of (some of these might have changed to Buy2Play now): Dauntless, Lost Ark, Lineage Eternal, Albion Online, Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen, and Crowfall.
  4. I got the deluxe edition because I'm greedy and wanted to play early and I've already had enough fun to say it's worth the price I paid. Hands down the best Battlefield I've ever played and that's coming from someone who put quite a few hours into BC2 and BF3. However, the campaign seriously lacks. I completed it in 4, maybe 5 hours. The multiple characters and mini stories are pretty interesting, the voice acting is fantastic, and the visuals are stunning, but the lack of real content in the story is obvious and won't keep you very entertained for long. It starts off really enjoyable but by the end you'll just be happy to get it out of the way. As for the stealth sections, they're practically non-existent. I suppose you could take the stealthy route if you wanted to, but there's really no point considering how easy and stupid the AI is even on the hardest difficulty. Is it still worth 60 bucks despite an average campaign? Only if you have enough spare time to play quite a lot of the multiplayer. This is one of the most polished releases EA has done in quite some time and the gameplay is some of Dice's most impressive work. By the way, if you trust GreenManGaming they have it on sale for $47.99 right now.
  5. To be honest, the single player trailer had me on the hate bandwagon, but this multiplayer reveal actually looks pretty damn fun. It's like an unashamed rip off of Titanfall, Destiny, and Halo all at the same time. I personally don't think that's a bad thing either, even though lots of other people will. Still won't buy it though since it'll just turn into Call of Duty: Infinite Supply Drops.
  6. I wasn't sure if I should put this in the PS4 forum or in this forum so please move this thread if necessary. So, I got a new monitor today and I love it so much that I'm planning to use my PS4 on it as well. However, the monitor doesn't have built in speakers so just plugging the HDMI into the monitor is useless for audio output. I've done some research but haven't found anything that tells me exactly what to do or what I need, so can anyone offer any help? I was hoping there's a way that I can just plug a couple small speakers into my PS4 and get audio that way; or at least use some sort of adapters to achieve that since the PS4 doesn't seem to have an audio jack. Any advice?
  7. I bought the 40 dollar edition of this game and I fully agree it's overhyped. Lacks content severely, the characters are a bit boring with no back story other than the CGI shorts, and the gameplay gets stale and repetitive quickly. This game was originally meant to be a free to play game and it's obvious that after making it a buy to play title, they didn't care enough to add any more content to it. But hey, it's Blizzard so fuck it. Pft. Overwatch has about the same amount of content as Battlefront, Destiny, and Rainbow Six Siege and honestly the content isn't that much better.. but for some reason those games got shit on for their lack of content while Ovewatch gets to sit on a throne.(That throne will only last a month though. Overwatch's numbers will drop rapidly once the hype wears off.)
  8. This is what the game should've originally been priced at.
  9. Just like the title says. Curious to see which games have had us completely hooked. For me, it'd definitely be Socom: Combined Assault or Call of Duty 2: Big Red One. Had no way to track hours back when these games were popular on PS2, but I easily put over 1200 hours each into the multiplayer of these games.
  10. It's the most poorly optimized game I've played on my PC so far. Within less than two hours, I crashed a total of five times and every race started stuttering horribly around the halfway mark. Seems you're one of the lucky ones.
  11. Got accepted into the closed beta finally and got an extra friend code for anyone who wants it. Feel free to just message me or reply here and I'll PM it to you.
  12. Haven't had time to game much lately, but have squeezed in a few games to add to my total. Saints Row: The Third, Breach and Clear, Sniper Ghost Warrior 2, Sniper Elite 3, Far Cry 3, Rainbox Six Vegas
  13. I'd be surprised if you haven't already tried this game, but If you're really looking for a Diablo beater, the F2P game Path of Exile could definitely be the game you want. I haven't spent a huge amount of time in the game just yet but I plan on putting quite a few hours into it. From what I've seen, Path of Exile plays closer to Diablo than any other game out right now.
  14. I'm up for some matches in the beta. Not sure if I'm purchasing it yet or not though. Feel free to add me. VirexGaming#1630
  15. My taste hasn't exactly changed, more like it's expanded. I used to not even bother with anything that wasn't a military shooter, but the older I got the more I realized I love all genres of games. Now days I'm willing to try any game that peaks even a little bit of my interest and it's very rare that I find a game I can't enjoy.
