  1. Hey guys and gals James here aka Wade D McGinnis! Today, for the second time I bring you another review, Bear With Me. This adventure point and click with a noir style is the first episode to be released. Let me know your thoughts on the review and as always, catch ya next time!
  2. Hey guys! Mr. Underhill here, an indie game developer from Transylvania, working on a point and click adventure heavily influenced by classic games like DoTT, Grim Fandango and the Curse of Monkey Island, called Gibbous: A Cthulhu Adventure We have a pretty kickin' rad and polished demo you can get here: DOWNLOAD WIN: http://tinyurl.com/j7cbx93 DOWNLOAD LINUX: http://tinyurl.com/gtd9djq DOWNLOAD MAC: http://tinyurl.com/hok3o6v You can visit our website: www.gibbousgame.com We're two guys and one girl working in an attic in Tirgu Mures, Transylvania, Romania (hence the name Stuck In Attic). We've worked on the demo for about a year now, and we're finally trying to get the financing we need to make this a complete and kick-ass game. So, if you be so inclined to kick some bucks toward a stupidly ambitious adventure with frame by frame animation, Bill Tiller-inspired backgrounds and a metric ton of inventory and hotspot jokes, we would be incredibly appreciative. Kickstarter: http://tinyurl.com/GibbousKickstart I know this looks like a cynical "gimme money for my Kickstarter" post, but if you take 5 minutes to check out the screenshots and video (and about an hour to check out the demo) you'll be able to tell this really is a love letter to classic Lucas titles, and a dream come true for us if we manage to raise the necessary funds to make it. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have about the game!
  3. Hello! I'm 31, and a French adventure game fan! I am developing an adventure game named "Demetrios", which you may have heard about (it was mentioned on pretty much every adventure game site worldwide!) Here's my game trailer : The game is currently on Kickstarter, and has reached its small funding goal with 10 days left! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/983902887/demetrios Here's the game description : The game is called "Demetrios - The BIG cynical adventure". It's meant to be a classic Point & Click, inspired by Broken Sword, but with a specific cynical humor and very interactive / contextual (characters will often react to the stupid things you do!) I'm doing everything myself : programming, graphics, musics, dialogs... and marketing What do you think? Again, the Kickstarter's here : https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/983902887/demetrios
  4. So after playing Ride to Hell, I went back to Steam to search for upcoming games. I found this game called Gods will be Watching. This is an Indiegogo funded game, and it's about the story of Sgt. Burden (wow, what a shitty name) and his other crew member that are stuck in this planet. He has to find a way to get out of it alive with his crew, and the only way is to fix a radio that's currently broken and needs fixing. Not only that, but there's a disease called the Medusea virus which will paralyze people that got infected, and will kill them after 3 days. So he has to find a way to fix the radio while managing his crew's health, sanity and hunger. There's a flash game version of this right here. This version is a pretty simple game where all you have to do is to manage your crew while fixing the broken radio, but it's quite hard. Still worth playing to get a taste of the full game. http://www.deconstructeam.com/games/gods-will-be-watching/ The full game will feature more hard to make decisions and more story.
  5. So recently i discovered an interesting animated comic adventure game It is set in the first world war and follows a set of different protagonists. so what do you think about this game ?
  6. Here's a review for a free point and click game I found on Steam named Serena. The plot is simple. You're in a cabin, you don't remember who you are, and you have to point and click every objects in the cabin to return your memory bit by bit. I won't spoil what happens, but let's just say things gets a lot more interesting each time you progress and in the end...... you know what, play it to find out. The gameplay is old school like Myst where you have to click into a directional arrow to move to that direction and click on a cupboard or a wall filled with objects to zoom in on them and interact with the objects to get an idea of what they mean to the main character. You can't pick them up in the game, you can only click over and over again to hear the main character's inner thoughts which is pretty well voiced. Do it to everything in the cabin and after the inner thought becomes different, you do it again. The game is only 30 minutes - 1 hour long, and there's no replayability whatsoever after you finish it once, but the story is quite intriguing and at the end you will be surprised at what happens. Overall, an interesting short game that's a call back to the old point and click games of the past, and it's free. I give the game the rating of "so good that you can't wait for the sequel (if there is any)".
