  1. Hi AJSA, Here's part one of my XCOM 2 let's play/review-in-progress hybrid: I assume a couple of you have picked this up over the weekend? What do you think about it so far?
  2. Hi AJSA! I looked at American Truck Simulator in my latest video: Any of you lot played this yet? Anybody want to chat about Big Trouble In Little China instead?
  3. Yeah. I hit 25K subscribers yesterday and i should have gotten this video up sooner but... why not. Here it is. Yeah... I did it. I hit 25K and I can't be more thankful than that. Hope you guys like it and if you want to sub to my channel, feel free to.
  4. The video below is Doug Walker from Channel Awesome, best known as the Nostalgia Critic, explaining why the recent uploads have only been 15 minutes long at most (the last couple of NC's were split into two parts because of this) as well as what both them and other YouTube channels have been going through recently with the YouTube support system, and if what he's saying is accurate then the system is more busted than ever; This is important to see for anyone who has a youtube channel.
  5. Hi AJSA! Hope you all had an awesome Christmas and New Year Let's kick off my shameless self promotion for the year with why I think Darkest Dungeon is The Bollocks: Any of you peeps had a look at this game yet? What do you think of it so far?
  6. It's that time of year again! Yes, time for my obligatory end of year video in which I condense ALL of the fun I've had with videogames over the last 12 months into a single list. Amazing! What have been your favourite games of the year? Oh and to all members of the AJSA, I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and an Awesome New Year
  7. Hi guys, thought I'd do something a little bit different than my usual reviews in this one, mainly because it's been out for ages! A lot of reviews have glossed over much of what Fallout 4 does badly, so I thought I'd address them here: I am enjoying my time in Fallout 4 though, how are you peeps getting on?
  8. Personnal Thoughts, i love what they did this year but no spoiler here,id recommend you to watch before reading my impressions. And that pretty much it, that thumbnail describe everything you will see in the video! Enjoy! Sorry im not much of a talker unless someone started a conversation. , more precisely im not a guy who start things. *Just somewhere i made a cameo in this video*
  9. Hi guys, I thought I'd share my brand spanking new obligatory list video with you. I present to you 7 Reasons Why Star Wars Battlefront is Bollocks! (Set to Edvard Greig - my channel is nothing, if not cultured!) Let me know what you guys think of the video. Oh and have any of you dabbled with Battlefront yet? What do you think?

  12. Hi ladies and gents! Not posted any vids on here for a while. Here's my review of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain Any of you peeps picked this up yet? What do you think about it?
  13. Knee-Deep in the Dead is an ongoing series studying the evolution of the First-Person Shooter from the early days of the genre to today. Season 1 primarily focuses on the most important titles released in the FPS "Golden Age", between 1992 and 2001. The first episode showcased the "grandfather" of the FPS-genre, Wolfenstein 3D: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldJZevsAl44 Some of my favorite episodes I've done so far include: Doom: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5EfGAA01Gk Duke Nukem 3D: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVVKqA50Yyc Goldeneye 007: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWQ7CUzUjMA And Half-Life: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmXee4QUmvQ The latest episode was dedicated to Quake 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYMgscAAsJs This series was created because I has played recent FPS campaigns and found them very lacking. In part inspired by videos by Zero Punctuation and Total Biscuit, I figured the best way to find out what went "wrong" was to go back to the beginning and trace the genre back to its roots and some of its most influential games. I try to get an episode out every 2 weeks at maximum, but the time can vary since I try to play each game to completion so I can form a full opinion on it. I plan to update this feed with each new episode. About myself, I've been gaming since I got a used NES back in the very early 90s. I generally stick to PC but own a 360 just in case. The first FPS I ever played was Doom on the Sega 32X. It was really a horrible port and I was very surprised when I played the ACTUAL version of Doom how good it was. I appreciated any feedback or comments from the community. Thank you and as always, game on and take care! -N'Eligahn
  14. I know a lot of people on here like to post gaming stuff on YouTube or livestream, so I figured here would be a good place to do some self-advertising. You can post your YouTube channel in the comments (gaming-related only, please!). Of course, mine's in my signature: http://www.youtube.com/blizzard2100gaming but anyone else have some good gaming vids?
  15. So for my upcoming fallout 3 terminator lets play i made a AJSA intro tell me what you guys think My intro And a bonus AngryJoe intro (feel free to use it Joe!)
  16. We all know that the youtube copyright rules are strict. Breaking those rules can even lead to your youtube channel being shut down But lucky for those that want to use music or sfx in their videoes, and wanting to avoid copyright infrigements at the same time. There are options out there. There are the 100% free music and SFX options, that only requires you to credit the creator and put a link to their website or channel. Sometimes there are a chance that the content (mostly music) becomes copyrighted and you will get a notification about it. (very low chance though, it only happend to me once) Good channels for music are for example This list of youtube channels all have royalty free music for you to use https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYI9qNK66LHNS9uoMqcU7tA https://www.youtube.com/user/holfix/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIe3BQ6Hm27Jxdc5MWuJuYQ/videos https://www.youtube.com/user/GTNmusik/featured https://www.youtube.com/user/AudioPad/featured https://www.youtube.com/user/VidaduMusic/featured https://www.youtube.com/user/OrbitalMusicYT/videos https://www.youtube.com/user/RoyaltyFreeBitches/featured https://www.youtube.com/user/musicfreelibrary/featured has both music and sfx And then there is the SFX channels https://www.youtube.com/user/SoundEffectsFactory which are a youtube channel dedicated to make SFX free to use by anyone and the only thing you need to do is to credit the original creator https://www.youtube.com/user/WithSquaredGlasses/featured https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5bVBV8qU3fa9TYT9k4VRiA It is easier to find free SFX from various channels than it is to find Free music, so i wont post all of the channels that have some sort of SFX Then there are the license music and sounds, even though it's better quality most of the times, they are fucking expensive. Yet the possibility of getting a copyright strike is eliminated completely. There are options here as well, allthough im not as experienced or have alot of knowlegde in this section as i have never licensed anything. (because that is damn expensive) https://www.youtube.com/user/BlueFoxMusic/featured https://www.youtube.com/user/MachinimaSound/featured https://www.youtube.com/user/esoundtraxmusic/featured https://www.youtube.com/user/christianbaczykmusic/featured https://www.youtube.com/user/NXArecords/featured there are alot of websites the sell licenses to music and sounds and some have also free options http://audiojungle.net/ has alot of audio that requires you to buy it first http://www.freeplaymusic.com/index.aspx gives free audio license for personal use on your youtube profile for the next 99 years (not monetized) everything else comes at a prize https://www.jamendo.com/en?from=search is only audio with a priced license (as far as i know) http://dig.ccmixter.org/ is a mix of both free and licensed audio http://www.jewelbeat.com/index.php is a website where as far as i know, most things are at a price of 2.99$ http://audioblocks.com/ either go with the free trial or the subscription fee http://incompetech.com/ are with no license for the music and the only requirement is giving credit to the original creator http://sampleswap.org/index.php for the most part looks like it's also 100% license free http://www.freesfx.co.uk/soundeffects/cartoon_comical/ you need an account to download anything, but it supposedly free http://www.purple-planet.com/home/4583818248 has both free and licensed music http://www.icompositions.com/index.php the license terms differs from artist to artist http://opsound.org/ is also free to use http://bandcamp.com/ license only (as far as i know) http://soundbible.com/ sounds effects that are free to use http://www.partnersinrhyme.com/ has alot of different things to offer http://www.soundjay.com/ alot of different SFX http://www.premiumbeat.com/ some of the more expensive stuff http://www.bensound.com/ has both the free option, but also the license option (depending on what you're using it for) http://www.audiomicro.com/royalty-free-music has also both the free and the license option (depending on what you're using it for) http://www.mobygratis.com/ are free as long as it's nonprofit http://www.freesoundtrackmusic.com/ offer free music and only requires credits for the creator http://www.pacdv.com/sounds/free-music.html also free, but also require you to give credit to the creators http://publicdomain4u.com/ has alot of music where the copyright ran out https://musopen.org/ the same as publicdomain 4u http://www.beatpick.com/ has alot fo different license option, based upon what you're using the audio for http://music.monstercat.com/ requires a monthly subscription in order to use the license Here are some bonus websites http://www.epicsound.com/sfx/ not really offering any SFX or music, but gives you tips on how to make your own SFX http://www.stephanschutze.com/videos.html some interesting videoes, i recommend watching the Bioshock 2 Audio Analysis Well i hope at least this helped someone. (and yes... is was bored, so i made this topic) Take care Although you're getting free access to the music and SFX, it is always good to check on the *Terms Of Use* for any content you want to use. Just to be safe BTW Sorry if my english is terrible.
  17. Okay, well, maybe I'm lying a bit. I've been doing Youtube for about a year now, without much sucess. I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing wrong here and I was hoping for some help. Are my videos too long? Do I need to cut shit out? Am I trying too hard to be funny? Or am I just unlucky? https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWsbVHXOvtwc3XZ8grbCkAw I've watched guides, I've looked up guides, I've watched other youtubers, I don't know what else to do other than ask for help.
  18. Welcome: I welcome the day that this doesn't feel like I dive into the flames, though I suspect that will never come. In regards to the links below; No Holds Barred is a first impressions series looking at recent/firly recent releases whilst Collectors Archive will be a look at/critiqe of games past. Be warrned however. I have no idea what I'm doing here for the most part and though I try to keep production as high as I can, don't expect anything at the same outstanding quality as Joe's content. I have a long way to go with this after all.
