  1. Just in case any of you were planning on getting a Elgato for capturing/stream gameplay off your favorite games or console. There's important things you need before you can use one of the 4 Elgato capture cards. Here's a link explaining what's needed. https://help.elgato.com/customer/portal/articles/1020255-elgato-game-capture-hd-system-requirements Now there are 4 in total that I know of so far. Elgato HD, Has good quality but some would say it's best for capturing the old retro consoles. But you can use the current gen consoles for it too. Elgato HD 60, Also good quality but capturing in Retro consoles will require more than just the devise itself. Elgato HD 60 S, This one is my all time favorite, and probably the best out of the rest. Instant gameplay for the current consoles and it's worth it. Elgato HD 60 PRO, This one would be considered the best, since it plugs internally inside the PC like a graphics card. But so far in my experience, (And yes I have a very powerful PC) This version seemed like a defect. Meaning it can't seem to have the audio completely in without minor audio blackouts, and I mean small second ones. This as I've read has been a ongoing issue and so far nothing has fixed it, I thought maybe it was because of what plug it was at, but that only fixed a minor part. So I wouldn't recommend this one. And if you want your friends to be heard in your capture or stream, there's a Elgato cable called Chat Link that connects to your controller and the Elgato, if you use a Xbox One, it's best to use it with the stereo headset adapter that plugs into the mic plug on the controller, that way you can control the volume for both the game and your party chat friends. Same goes for a PS4 version, if you get the right one, I hear there's more than one version for the PS4 controllers. best to look up how this is done so you can make sure it works for ya. Here's the Elgato Website link, https://www.elgato.com/en/gaming Of course you could always try Amazon if you have an account there. That's all I have to say about this. Hope this info was helpful.
