  2. Although I'm playing it for the PS3, can't seem to find a good section to post this so yeah. Damn the first three hours were great! As I'm typing this thread I'm currently at Morrigan's pad, I've just finished lighting up the beacon, first off I want to talk about what I experience, holy shit! Alistair just mauled and murdered that Ogre! I was surprised and my mouth opened by itself by the shear awe and badassery of what he did, he just jumped to the Ogre and started to stab the Ogre mercilessly, I was shocked to be quite honest. I can't believe Alistair did that, he's not all fun and wits after all (lol). And I can't believe what happened afterwards, I feel pity for those people who fought the battle, they didn't got the cavalry they needed the most. I'm in the midst of a cool game here, just after finishing playing GTA, I started on playing three games, ACIV, TLOU and this. By the sheer awesomeness of DA:O I will be focusing on this more than anything else. Although, I think I'm playing it wrong. My mindset is to run and smash enemies and not thinking out tactics like I should. I want to ask those guys who already finished this if there's tips for a guy like me to play this magnificent game, maybe I'll need help in the course of late game related problems and scenarios. And why not share your experiences with this game with me while at it!
  3. Hey guys, I see a lot of FPS but personally I'm more into fighting games and don't see an awful lot of beat'em ups listed in any of the sections. I was wondering how many people here likes these sort of games and I thought I would use my favourite for the topic of discussion. So is there anyone here that plays SSF4: AE? I know there aren't many people in Ireland that plays it since they didn't sell many copies here so really the only way I'm going to how many people actively play it is by branching out to others. If there is anyone here that plays then I would be interested in arranging a match. Don't worry about my skill level, my highest rank is a B character, lol. Also up for discussion is the new Ultra Street fighter 4, which I can say right now I will not be getting. I just don't see the point in paying all that money for a few characters copy and pasted out of Street Fighter X Tekken and a patch file. I realise that this will likely bring Crapcom into the discussion but I still think street fighter games are worthy of discussion and admiration despite the poor business practices that drive them.
  4. hello everyone i recently got a new gaming rig but had to reinstall windows so my question to this wonderful community dous anybody have any tips and tricks on making your pc game ready asap and keeping it running for as long as possibul? by: bowmanruto
  5. Hi everyone im Henrixz i love video games and hopefuly we can play together. i play pc and 3ds maybe soon i will get my ps4 if their is one available.
  6. http://www.titanfall.com/beta Sign up for the beta right here. Places are limited, so be quick! This game is worth downloading the 12 GB it takes to play. It's so much like what the trailer and gameplay footage shows, and it's badass. Update: unfortunately the sign up is now over. If you guys have a spare beta key, you can share it with everyone that hasn't got it yet.
  7. Name: Divekick Consoles: PS3, Vita, and PC (through steam) Cost: $10 (If you get the PS3 version, you get the Vita version FREE) Description: Divekick is an indie fighting game made by Iron Galaxy Studios (Of Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike Online fame) and One True Game Studios to break down fighting games to its core. You choose from 13 characters ranging from Mr. N (A parody of Marn), Markman (A parody of Mark Julio, Madcatz's community manager), S-Kill (A parody of Seth Killian of Capcom and Playstation All Stars Battle Royale), and more and use only 2 buttons (Dive and Kick) to win a FT5 (First to 5) match using special moves, Kick Factor (Parody of UMVC3's X-factor), Gems (Parodied from Street Fighter X Tekken) and more. PROS: Simple fighting game that's super easy to pick up.It has some of the most hilarious stuff in a video gameOnline is run by GGPO, which is perfect for Fighting Games.CONS: Not a lot of modes. (Only Online, Local Versus, and Story)It's not that fun to play when you're alone, it's best to play with friends. The parodies and jokes can go over a lot of people's heads if they're not involved with the Fighting Game Community
  8. I remember in his Chromehounds review he seemed to have really liked the game, so maybe this would appeal to him, I have to say it looks enjoyable, though they are only still testing the Alpha. http://www.bombdogstudios.com/index.php
  9. So Wasteland 2, a game I am ecstatic to see come to light, is now on steam and with early access (I'm personally not a fan of the early access thing as it is literally paying for an unfinished product). While normally I would be foaming at the mouth to get on, I noticed something rather irritating. The price. I'm not one to complain that "PC games should not be subjected to the Console disease of publication fees", I am going to say that $60 is a rather high price point for a game like this. $30 I can see. Heck, I'd pay $40. But It pains me to have to wait for the eventual price drop and/or sale. I'm not so much mad as I am disgruntled at this decision. Am I the only one that feels this way? Or am I simply getting cheap?
  10. Hello Angry Army, I never played Mass Effect and I'm going to buy the trilogy at the end of this year to play on my vacation, but I heard that some of the DLC are important to the main plot of the game, I wanna know if this plot-related DLC are worth my money and if the main plot of the game can stand without all DLC.
  11. Oh, wonderful. Introductions. Because I'm so good at that. Most people would agree that GTA V is an amazing game, one of the best of 2013. Most people would also agree it would be idiotic of Rockstar to not port it to PC. Alas, if PC is your platform of choice, you've likely been waiting quite some time for this release. And if you're like myself, you've been scouring the news for any info about a PC release each day until "GTA V PC" is burned into the Google search bar. As such, I've compiled this little list of facts for those of you who are too lazy to scour the internet for every slice of news relating to a PC release. I'll update this regularly, and feel free to add anything you think I missed. ...GO. - 1. Rockstar hasn't so much as hinted at a PC release in any of their official statements. Most all of the stuff on this list is external and in no way confirmed by Rockstar. 2. Listings for a pre-order PC version of GTA V have appeared on various websites since well before GTA V came out, including Amazon France, GamesOnly, and Amazon Germany. 3. A 150-page bug log for GTA V dating back to 2009 has been leaked. It mentions DirectX11 effects, 32-bit and 62-bit versions, a "lastgen" toggle, and many other details. 4. A user on the GTA forum claimed GTA V will support 32 players on PC, linking a forum on Pastebin that includes code for PS3 mods. In this code, 32 lines of data include "HUD_COLOUR_NET_PLAYER1," down to "HUD_COLOUR_NET_PLAYER32". -
  12. Which RPG game has the best soundtrack. For me, it's a tie between Fallout 3 and Skyrim.
  13. Hey, I am interested in maybe playing with a couple other Angry Army Battlefield 4 players. I like to play Battlefield and not to many friends have PC so they can play. And the game is sometimes boring but is fun with two of my other buddies play. But really most of the time I go solo. If anybody wants to squad up. Just reply and we can dominate on the battlefield.
  14. Anyone playing defiance on PC? I recently picked up the game since it was only $10 and have been finding it to be really fun. I was hoping to find any other Angry Army members on there, if so hit me up my guys name is Durgon. Wouldn't mind getting a clan started on that game if anyone is down or if there is one would love to join
  15. Hi everybody, my name is AbelincolnPrime and I have been a PC gamer for about 11 months and I enjoy playing Battlefield,Hawken,Arma 2 and 3,Red Orchestra 2 and many more games. Big shooter fan and enjoy playing with others.
  16. What do you think guys? Leave a comment! For my opinion, it depends on the content. Example: A modded M4A1 (in any game) that you pay real money is either more powerful, slighty more powerful or just has a sight than a normal M4A1 that you buy with the in-game money. For me, if it's something temporary, like a 7-day weapon, I don't think it's worth it. If you play the game continuously, it's fine, but I'm not a real fan at "renting" stuff. It also mainly depends on player skill, you may have a powerful item, but if you can't use the maximum out of it if you can't play the game.
  17. Greetings, recently I downloaded the game SMITE and I got some pop-ups about potential system issues with outdated drivers or something similar. the game works for me regardless, but this is concerning to me because I hope to join the angry army on the battlefield in games like planetside 2, war thunder, star citizen, and anything else that I could play to be a part of the AJSA. So I was hoping if anyone could recommend some hardware I could add into my current laptop (because it'd probably be a tad cheaper) to support newer games. Here's my current computer stats: OS: Windows 7 home premium Processor: Intel® Core 17-2630QM CPU @2.00GHz Installed memory (RAM): 4.00 GB System type: 64-bit operating system I'm not sure what my graphics card is but if it means anything, it was made in 2009. I appreciate any and all replies to this, thanks for the help.
  18. This is my experience with "Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs" in a nutshell: Walk along the right wall (using ladders whenever they come up), while you test and re-test all doors, levers, buttons, and so on, just to see if they work at all. :-P This game is incredibly bland, as you just walk around, trying to figure-out what you CAN interact with, so that you can solve/trigger overly-simple puzzles/events. It doesn't even matter what you do in the game anyways, since there's no penalties for acting like an incompetent fool in the game. One example is that you quickly regenerate any health lost from being damaged. In fact, no matter what mistake you make, the game will act as if you never made the mistake at all. "Oh, you died?... I'll instantly respawn you a couple of feet away at full health, without even taking away any past progress!" If you want a great "horror" gaming experience, then buy yourself "Amnesia: The Dark Descent". You get to interact with so many things; and you have to actually pay attention to whatever is going on with the game, including the story (as it helps you solve fairly elaborate puzzles). Your resources are also limited; and you often get punished no matter what you do. For example, you go insane if you don't have a light source, but you're incredibly limited in the way of creating/getting any of them. There's even times where you need to avoid light, since you don't want enemies to notice you.
  19. Alright my fellow gamers, Im looking to put together a team in the Angry Army Dota 2 guild. Who is willing to join up with me?
  20. I am completely in love with Rust at the moment, the game is much smoother and polished than DayZ and the plethora of other zombie survival games currently available (In my opinion, you can enjoy whatever you wish). The first night I had the game I stumbled across two guys with shacks, we met and I made my house with them. Over the next hour the area expanded and we eventually had a walled town with 20-30 people inside it! We would go on hunting expeditions, craft together, socialize and take turns on tower watch duty. Unfortunately on the sixth night while I was inside my shack the town was set upon by bandits with automatic weapons, they murdered everyone who couldn't get to their house in time. I was petrified with fear of them hearing me so I didn't dare move until morning when some of the other survivors came back. Needless to say that was awesome! Who else has had some time with the game? I'd love to hear your thoughts and stories!
  21. I'd like to send a idea up the chain about creating a "Tech Forum" section within the "PC Gaming Central" area of the Forums. Many PC gamers like to talk tech, discuss builds, compare (gaming) performance, share ideas, give component feedback and help with troubleshooting issues. I'm aware that many communities are already dedicated to PC stuff, but I'm proposing a "in-house" broader, community based, gamer oriented forum platform in which AJSA members can participate. I tried starting one in the old forums and many members responded positively to it. However, the gaggle f**k format of those forums made it difficult to maintain and keep visible, so it eventually got buried somewhere in the dozens (hundreds?) of topic pages. So there it is! I'd also like to hear what members think!
  22. Since newly the Online MMO of Dynasty Warriors will be shut down, I wanted to show what the Dynasty Warriors series is cool for. I highly love that game, maybe some of you will to: Pros: -Over 60 Characters -Exciting historical Story with chinese aspects for sense of honor & friendship -Each character has his dedicated moveset and weapon -Good variety of maps Cons: -Online Mode is based on playing the Story together (Can be also pro, depending how you see it - didnt yet experience it) - Can be repetitive, since AI are a huge load of and sometimes enemy officers -
  23. Okay, so I'm wondering who else has this game? If you don't have it, I'll show you a little background on it. If you do have the game, you can ignore the two Spoilers below vv Background: Price: Alright, so I'm on the Road to getting the "Legendary Defender" achievement in this game. And there is one achievement where I actually really need people to play with. Atm what I would like to do is gather some people so we can get this one achievement called "Team Effort". To get it, all you have to do is play through the campaign on at least medium difficulty with 3 other players. I want to get this because It's one of the achievements needed to earn the achievement "Legendary Defender". Once I get "Team Effort", I won't just stop there. I'll be doing much more after that, starting with getting the rest of the achievements. Then I'll probably prepare for playing on Nightmare mode by getting some Mythical gear. And I'll be playing challenges, eternia shards levels, etc in between. Basically, I'll be able to play this game with you for awhile if you add me . I should let you know that I have 5 characters that are level 70+, so playing with higher levels would be preferred for me personally. maybe around, 50+? This thread can be a place where we discuss achievements and Dungeon Defenders in general. You can also post your steam id so people can play with you! And feel free to add anything else to the conversation, as long as it's on topic.
  24. So, Just Cause 2 recently had a mod released that adds Multiplayer to the game, it's free if you own the base game. I tried it out and it works pretty well, I was wondering if anyone in AJSA wanted to form sort of a group to play with? Maybe even host a AJSA server? If anyone's interested, just respond here, as I think it'd be a lot of fun with the right people.
  25. Hey everybody! I'm kind of lonely when it comes to PC gaming because all of my friends game on consoles, so i'd like to ask the Angry Army to help me out. If you guys want, feel free to add me on Origin or Battlelog (still new to this whole scene) and we should play some BF4 together! I probably won't have a mic until around Christmas time because i'm waiting for the post Christmas blow out sales haha. So, if any of you fine gentlemen or gentleladies would like to play with me add me! Origin ID: HailedFanatic Thanks again!
