  1. What do you guys think are the Best, Worst and Most Disappointing Games of 2015? I've always wanted to ask and knowing that Joe will have his Top 10s coming, he'll probably have a lot so why don't we discuss. For me... and there are games I know are GOTY that I haven't played yet. Best Games of 2015: Witcher 3, MGSV TPP, Fallout 4, Majora's Mask 3D, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Bloodborne, Worst Games of 2015: Godzilla (no surprise), Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 Most Disappointing Games of 2015: Batman Arkham Knight, Star Wars Battlefront, Battlefield Hardline I want to hear what you guys think.
  2. I'm feeling a bit crazy this year so starting about in random months or rather beginning in some point in February I'm going to post some phrase or random word and whoever responds first after I post it, you give me your steam address and I'm going to purchase you a random game off of your wishlist. Might be the pricey one (which sometimes may include multiple games), might be cheap. I'll be flipping a coin on it. And of course for the sake of being sure when people know when I'm just talking in response to someone or posting for that lucky first poster. I'm going to place First: ahead of the random word or phrase so whoever first comment after that gets a slice of game. Cheap: $25 and below ( Either one lesser game off the list or multiples equaling up to $25 ) Pricey: $26 and up ( Either one major game off the list or multiple lower priced games equaling the high amount) Also just to note so this wont be an issue later. If a post to a conversation happens to pop up. Someone responding to a previous post before my First: Then that's naturally not going to count. First post towards me in "quote" response to my post for the opportunity to get a free game once I give the word or phrase. >:3 And its random so whatever game you get spends on the flip of the coin and my directional choice. Yes, I know I keep adding but thankfully at least its not another rule point. Lol. I'm going to attempt to do one every month randomly, more so if I have a good streak. Not knowing when I'm going to post it makes it more enjoyable, especially for me. If it works out this year, I'll keep it going into 2016. Who knows, maybe more people will join in the fun and buy for others. As an additional I will want to know whether or not you mind if the game is possibly one you have on your list that hasn't been released yet. So if you happen to win, let me know if you would only prefer something you could play immediately and I will ignore the pre-purchase games on your wishlist. Also, (glad I caught this early) just so other individuals can have a better chance considering for the time being I'm only doing a single winner a month. If you have already won for the year of 2015 it wont count if you try and participate again. My goal for Free Game Year in the end is to have this as something I do every year and to get to a point where I can have at least 4 possible winners in a single month, about 1 winner for each week. 2015 Winners January - LEGOLAS_KATARN Coin Toss: High / $26+ Games Won: Homeworld Remastered Collection Life is Strange Episodes (1-5) Tengami February - 2AND900 Coin Toss: Low / $25 Max Games Won: Sid Meier's Civilization III: Complete Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion March - Ghaleon Coin Toss: Low / $25 Max Games Won: Scoregasm Mighty Dungeons Starbound April - Beastmaster A.C. 3. So its that time again people what are your hopes and predictions at this PSX! Ta dahhhhhhh. no but seriously what do you want to see announced at this PSX? 4. Has any of you ever regretted being in a group? I am not talking about classification that we have no control over, such as race, gender, or any thing else. I am talking about the type of group that you were optimistic about, and can take pride in since it is one of the few things you have control over. It has been a slippery slope that I have been on for a while, and I think I am close to the edge. These companies continue to find new ways to rape, yes, RAPE our wallets. Whether it is release half games, jamming micro transactions anywhere they can, or just flat out denying us content. And they worst part is that these idiots bend over backwards and frontwards. I remember and miss the days where developers actually bothered to put out games with an abundance of content. This is not even talking about how they push out unpolished games since they see us as our beta testers. This brings me to my next point. There is no dignity in marketing or justifying the reason devs put what they put in games. Remember how a certain somebody wanted us to feel "ashamed" about us being aroused by a scantily clad silent female. As if that was not insulting to integrity, there are games that give no context, or just plain disguisting context to a trailer, or just revel in drumming up controversy to sell their SHITTY games to cover the fact that they are SHITTY devs, and the fact that their skills are FUCKING SHITTY. We have been turned into fucking whipping boys by both Fox Fucking News, and fucking coporations. Oh no, thats not it. While we are being fucking whipped by those motherfuckers, we are speared through the goddamn chest by two goddamn fucking ASSHOLES. We have these overzealous butthurt sjws who still believe that violent video games equate to real life violence. Then we have these equally butthurt anti sjws who label anyone with dissenting opinions as an sjw. "Oh look! A woman is raising criticism against our boobies! Our porn is going to be taken away! Lets harass and censor them to prove our point!" "Oh no! A woman is being attacked in a video game! That is bad and we must protect her! Reaffirming the damsel in distress tropes is a magnificent idea!" I always find how these rampant anti sjws are usually straight white males who are offended (ironically) by any type of progressive thought. And then these rampant sjws do not bother trying to rectify actual prejudice in the world. And if that was not enough, they are now both being used to rack up more sales for the new DOA game that was barely talked about, with anti sjws throwing a piss fit and Play Asia benefitting the most. These fucking butthurt motherfuckers end up buttfucking the other butthurt fucker, and then we are fucking butt fucked by both butthurt buttfuckers, and now we are butthurt motherfuckers! Fuck the anti frminists, fuck the feminazis, fuck micro transactions, fuck sjws, fuck anti sjws, fuck mobile gaming, fuck pre ordering, fuck half done games, fuck shallow games, fyck bullshit dlc, fuck annual releases, fuck stupid controversy, and more importantly, fuck the gaming industry!
  5. I know we're already almost four months into 2015, but still are there any games you're looking forward to owning on the WiiU?
  6. Nintendo had pretty good year in 2014 in regards to exclusives, arguably the strongest out of the current generation for 2014. Wondering what everyone's most excited for in 2015 from Nintendo, I for one am most excited for the bravery default sequel but the new fire emblem sounds pretty good too. Whats everyone else excited for?
  7. Link As well as a large expansion large enough it has to be on disc in December.
  8. Well here we go 1 year and a half later they arrive on ALL platforms including PC it been time but they weren't ready last year, Let make that easy cash! Me leading the charge!
  9. A thread to discuss the next Star wars movie that is still in production. Star wars episode 7 is planned to be released in 2015 and Star wars was sold to Disney so there might be some small changes.
  10. So I'm sure a lot of people saw the trailer for the upcoming Zelda WiiU, not Hyrule Warriors (although I'm looking forward to that game) and I gotta say I'm really hyped, for the promise of complete exploration like in the early Zelda games and how gorgeous the fields of Hyrule looks, it's probably the best I have seen in a Zelda game to date, but what do you guys think of it and for those of you that don't own a WiiU, will this convince you to get one
  11. Hey, savage here. So, Nintendo is finally making a new StarFox for Wii U, and nine-years after the disaster that was StarFox Command. Now a question has been going through my mind on how the actual gameplay is going to be in the final product, will it be another Assault with on-foot segments, will be like Adventures with the focus completely on the ground missions and less in the air, or will it be like Star Fox 64 and go back to its roots? I don't know. From what I've read, the gamepad will be used as a first-person view from the Arwing for the first tme, on-rails' missions are coming back, several characters are returning, an ability to change your Arwing into a tank with a push of a button (similar to StarFox 2), and a new helicopter vehicle mode will be added into the game. All in all, I'm liking what I'm hearing about this new title. What do you guys think?
  12. Ok so E3 has passed and we all saw the newest games that are coming out, but what game that you saw from Nintendo are you looking forward to the most, or maybe it's a game that's on the WiiU or 3DS but are also on other consoles, if they have any 3rd party support, but for me, the game I'm looking forward to the most from Nintendo is the upcoming Zelda WiiU
  13. According to an open letter from the developers, Ever since we started working on the third installment in The Witcher franchise, it has been our aim to produce a title that would take our 11 years of experience in creating RPGS and distill them into a quintessence, into a game that would effectively crown those years. At the same time, we have wanted The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to expand creative boundaries, set new benchmarks, develop the genre as a whole. Ultimately, you, the players, must get an unforgettable adventure to experience in a vast, open world – and that's most important. We've created a story that flows naturally, cinematically, rendered it in amazing sound and visuals, while preserving full freedom of choice – all for you. We knew this to be an ambitious plan, but believed we could achieve it by bringing together our team with its creative energies and current gaming platforms with their technical capabilities. A project this vast and complex would inevitably require special care in its final stages, manual fine-tuning of many details, thorough testing time and again. We recently reexamined what we had achieved thus far, and faced a choice about the game's final release date. The decision we made was difficult, thoroughly considered, and ultimately clear and obvious. We could have released the game towards the end of this year as we had initially planned. Yet we concluded that a few additional months will let us achieve the quality that will satisfy us, the quality gamers expect from us. Consequently, we have set the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for February 2015. Dear gamers - we know many of you would have liked to play The Witcher 3 sooner, as soon as possible, even. We're sorry to make you wait longer than you, or we, initially assumed you would. At the same time, we believe the game will prove to be worth the wait and meet the expectations you have of us. We believe The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be an exceptional RPG, one of the best, providing many hours of wonderful entertainment. Dear shareholders – we are aware of the responsibility that rests with us and thank you for the trust you have granted us thus far. We firmly believe that quality – more than any other factor – determines a game's success, and that the decision we have made is thus equally valid in business terms. The Board of CD PROJEKT S.A.
