Hello, everyone My name is Chloe (or Clorissa, doesn't really matter haha) and I'm a transgender hardcore gamer and have been doin this since I was 7. My first game was Resident Evil 3: Nemesis been a long time fan of the franchise among others. What I mainly gravitate towards are horror games, RPGs, FPS, and Space Games. Even old games from before my time I could take interest in, even Pong or a bit more recent, Castlevania. I'm always interested in not only the games, but also the creation, what they went through, their inspiration, and pretty much every other detail no matter how minor or major. They are always a great inspiration to me, even any history for that matter. I also LOVE horror movies, mainly monsters and zombies, but anything that's creative is ALWAYS a must. I have met a variety of people over the years at horror conventions ALSO since I was 7. I have met such people as George A. Romero (the godfather of modern zombies), John Carpenter, and the cast of Nightmare on Elm Street INCLUDING Robert Englund. I myself have always wanted to start making games and movies that are not only unique, but bring back or even enhance practical effects. Especially horror movies benefit SO much from em in my opinion. Because it makes the horror THAT much more grotesque, honestly. I also do YouTube, but I'm hard to find so I'll simply post my latest video for now you can check it out if ya like. I post a new one every monday, rest assured, however, the quality WILL improve, I'm just working with what I have, because this sort of thing is my passion. I even plan to eventually do short films . When the first trailer dropped, I was almost crying, I was so happy to see another Borderlands on the horizon. Then things started to happen. We learned what an asshat Randy Pitchford is. We learned certain voice actors wouldn't be reprising their roles (reasons vary, some good, some bad). We discovered Take 2 actually got a YouTube channel removed (again, good and bad in that situation). And then there was the whole "Epic Store Exclusive" debacle. My hype drained, and I found it difficult to stay positive, but as release day dawned I just couldn't resist anymore and bought the PS4 version. I was horrified! The main villains are TERRIBLE! They are essentially what the CEOs at Gearbox think annoying YouTubers sound like. Not that they're wrong, but after the legend that became Handsome Jack, these loudmouthed twins are like nails on a chalkboard and nowhere near as compelling a threat as seen in previous games. I found it very difficult to get through the first couple of missions because it was just so annoying hearing the Twins all the time...and Vaugn wasn't much better (seriously, he was pretty cool in Tales from the Borderlands, and now he's devolved into a lame "bro" stereotype). But then something happened. I finally made it off Pandora and started doing sidequests. I started chuckling at the death screams of the enemies and the quirky side characters. I started finding good guns and running out of inventory because I wanted to keep them all. I started going out of my way to explore the map and make sure every little grey bit had been filled in. I started...having FUN! Oh, the story is still TERRIBLE, but the rest of the game feels like the old Borderlands that I loved so much. There are also a lot of bugs in it still, especially the laggy menus. But overall, yeah, I like the game now. I couldn't recommend it on PC, not until the Steam release at least, but it's definitely worth picking up in the future. Especially if you have friends you intend to play it with.
NinjaGamingBear posted a topic in ArchivesHey guys, I was just playing some Borderlands 2 and started thinking about Botderlands 3 and what they could add to the game? So what would you guys want to see in a Borderlands 3, if it happens? Which I think it will. Personally I would want to be able to combine weapons to make them even more unique, merging weapons with the same type of weapon so you can add more stats and more elemental damage to your favorite weapon. Merging weapons would have a chance to increase damage and elemental damage. I would have to only have a chance of sligthly increase it, so you can't just find a few weapons and run through the game with no problems. Also stronger weapons would need stronger weapons to increase their stats. Then they could add like a endless "cave\tower" where you could go down and the enemies would get harder the longer down you went like in Diablo 1 style. Just make the enemies in there strong as shit so you either need to have a very late game powerful weapon, or go in with your friends. I think it would be awesome to see how far some people would be willing to push down and see what epic loot they could get along the way.
Borderlands is a fun, hilarious, addicting and well made game, but there are limitations and stuff that they can improve on. The main things I see problems or stuff to improve on are the following. 1)money is almost useless 2)customization is limited and sometimes a bit frustrating 3) guns sometimes feel overpowered or underpowered. 4) the chose to get rid of low level rares With these problems I have some solutions/features 1) to solve money issue and add more customization reduce the response fee and add gun customization and reuse old wepons where guns can disassembled from the frame into barrels, triggered /grips, stacks, scopes/sights and the middle frame (the peace that identifies the gun and collected and put on other guns within the same class (no plasma casting on assault rifles). And each part you have will be the same level as the original gun (or a set level if dropped from a boss or mob) it will be p witch can be upgraded for a price and be different rarities (so you can collect parts as well as guns) as well when you make a new weapon It will cost to assemble and even can buy new parts all the
Borderlands is a fun, hilarious, addicting and well made game, but there are limitations and stuff that they can improve on. The main things I see problems or stuff to improve on are the following. 1)money is almost useless 2)customization is limited and sometimes a bit frustrating 3) guns sometimes feel overpowered or underpowered. 4) the chose to get rid of low level rares With these problems I have some solutions/features 1) to solve money issue and add more customization reduce the response fee and add gun customization and reuse old weapons where guns can disassembled into the firing camber (the main part that the basic states at on it gets the manufactures and main name [i.e. pitchfork] name) barrels, triggered /grips, stocks, scopes/sights these can be put together within the same class (no plasma casters or any smg barrels on assault rifles). Each part you have will be the same level as the original gun it came off of(or a set level if dropped from a boss or mob) and can change the level of the new gun. It will be possible to level the parts up for a fee and each part will have different states bases on level, rarity and manufacturer if there is different level parts on the gun it will take a weighted factor of all parts to make a new level gun. different parts could have effects on them i.e. barrels can have E tech . It will cost to assemble a new gun and parts and parts can be sold, bought and even found (like the mission hungry like the sakg but for only blue or higher rarities). Also there will have to be a separate holding area for these parts for holding so they don't get mixed in with the complete weapons and a menu or area will be made to combine them. 2)For character customization it is frustrating have present skins so how about finding colours and and patterns (like face paint or the mechro's Dahl predator yellow and black camo on her vest jacket) there can be a couple of colour selections controlling different parts I'm thinking about three or four setting aside patterns this will solve character customization frustration and limitation. Also can there be a optional third (like elder scrolls) person mode it kinda sucks to not see your custom character you may have grinded to get. And make loot drops personal to each player (so you can get rid of duping glitchs as well), and be low drop rates to increase (if not gotten) every time a player defeats a boss/mob (so that people don't have to do taramorphes 100 or more times not knowing when they will get a head let alone the one they want) and have it reset the odds after it has bin obtained. If any one has any others charges or issues to be changed or question please feel free to comment I love borderland and I want to see this game get even better and have longer lasting drive to play besides leveling up and replaying the game on a higher level.
