  1. Every week I do the This Week In Gaming article which includes current Kickstarter, Fig, Indiegogo, etc projects, usually each article will have anywhere from 1-4 crowd funding projects. I'll keep the ones I am aware of that are still active in this pinned thread as it is easier for me than starting multiple threads for things that not everyone will have an interest in. I will also share the ones that recently succeeded and ones that have options to support the project still available. If one of these does interests you, feel free to start a thread in this section of the forums to spread the word or to post updates on the project as it, hopefully, nears release. 3. Dear Fans of Role Playing Games! No obligations, enjoy and be fair! A demo version of our game, World Slayer, is freely available for Android (primary) and Windows 8-10. (a bit later, Mac, Lunix, and even iOS as well). Link to demo: https://world-slayer.com/demo IndieGoGo: launch later today, 28th February 2017 For news and updates, please connect with us via Twitter https://youtu.be/PmkUIb7dj5A Youtube Trailer; FaceBook Page Here is a Short Description of the game (full Pitch): A mobile RPG. Obviously, we target mobile platforms, but what we mean by mobile has a broader sense - a game you can play anywhere. In many modern mobile RPGs, the role playing practically stops after you’ve dressed and geared up your characters. The curse of free2play! We and many fans of old-school RPGs find it very disappointing that mobile platforms are not used to their full potential. Mobile platforms are always with you by definition. This is why our mission is to restore the essence of the RPG-genre by carefully bringing actual role playing experience to mobile platforms. here are many legendary RPG series from Europe, US, and Japan that inspired us. Just to name a few, those are Dragon Age, Planescape Torment, Witcher, Persona, Suikoden, Grandia, Final Fantasy and many many others! Our game is devised to have a higher degree of non-linearity. We want to give players a living sandbox-like world with multiple possible storylines, so that they can be either a hero, who will save the World, or a villain, who is going to destroy it. In World Slayer, players will be able to build relations with other characters, craft weapons, and even gather their own army. Wherever you go and whenever you feel like playing, the game will give you chills and emotions from actual role-playing like in the real RPGs. Appreciate all the feedback and be glad to answer your questions! Some screenshots! 5. To clarify beforehand: I am part of the development team and the following is advertisement for our project and it's crowdfunding campaign. I wanted to be upfront with that and hope that it still is within the rules of this forum. Dear AJSA community, I am part of RadicalFishGames. We are a group of game developers and are currently working on our first larger project: The 2D action-RPG CrossCode. An extensive demo is already available and can either be downloaded (currently only for Windows) or played directly in your web browser. So best try it out yourself! To finish development in a clear timeframe (until first quarter of 2016) we are currently holding a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo and already managed to collect over 45k€ of our 80k€ goal. If you like the game please consider supporting us, either financially or by word of mouth! On our development-blog you can read about all the recent news to the project. Latest News: The Character Classes of CrossWorlds, IndiesCrashE3 Indieclicker and AMA on reddit Each Sunday we are holding development-livestreams in which you can watch us do work and also ask us questions! Next DevStream: April 19 2015 12 pm PST (20 pm GMT + 1) - Click to get to the channel Play the CrossCode Demo now www.cross-code.com (Playable in browser or offline for Windows) CrossCode is a 2D Action RPG set in the distant future. You follow a player called Lea as she logs into CrossWorlds - a fictional MMO of the far future. Two things are strange about Lea: First, she can't speak (literally mute - not just a silent heroine). And second, she doesn't remember a thing about her past. Despite all of this, Lea starts exploring CrossWorlds, meets other players and overcomes a multitude of challenges all along the official track of the game. That is, until the past catches up with her. CrossCode combines features of the Action-Adventure and RPG genre, delivering both, a great variety of puzzles and an engaging, fast-paced combat system with plenty of options for character growth. Here's a list of features: 16-bit, SNES-style 2D graphics with detailed animationsA soundtrack inspired by old SNES and Playstation classicsA unique ball throwing mechanic with charging functionality and ricocheting balls, used for combat and puzzlesFast-paced combat system featuring close and ranged attacks, guarding, dashing and great variety of special attacksA complete RPG system with leveling, equipment, consumable items and skill treesA detailed movement system with auto-jumping and precise collision Videos: Pictures: We’re currently having a fundraiser on IndieGogo! Check it out: And that's it for the advertisement! Best don't put too much trust in my lackluster PR-skills and try out the demo for yourself, it runs in any modern browser without any plugins needed. You are welcome to ask questions and give us feedback directly in this very thread. We’ll keep an eye on this and will try to answer everything. And of course feel free to also judge the project and campaign as usual. Alternatively you can also visit our DevBlog and our Forum for questions and discussions about the game.
  6. Its an Sandbox RPG, set in the medieval world, its awesome, is one of my dream games coming true!!! but sadly it has very little support, please help it!!!, I know if we all contribute, we can make this game work!!, here is the link to the site: http://lifeisfeudal.com/ and here is the campaign link: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/life-is-feudal
  7. Indiegogo Linkara started an Indiegogo to fund a movie. I've always enjoyed his shows, most of his story segments, and his roles in the past Channel Awesome movies so I'll probably donate to it. Usually I get a bit worried when someone like this tries to do a movie (except for Brad Jones who has always done a great job) as they might already be slow putting up new content or they might try to do things they can't possibly afford/waste money from lack of experience but Linkara always seemed like he was probably the hardest working person on Channel Awesome and keeping the filming in his home state is a good thing.
  8. Indiegogo Campaign Was quickly funded and is now working on stretch goals that will allow them to create additional short films.

  10. Hi Friends I'm here to ask for your help. My roommate, Devon, is trying to fulfill a dream of his to walk across America for a cause. In this case, he's walking to raise awareness and funding for bullying. And now, a word from Devon: Hi, my name is Devon, I am 27 years old and lately I have been pretty restless and I came up with an idea, as a result of researching this idea, I was aware of another option. I have always wanted to walk across America, visit all the famous sites, enjoy the freedom of being on the road. Now I have been growing restless in my life as a dishwasher and have felt its about time I follow my dream. Well I was researching and found that a lot of successful walkers have walked for various charities. So when I started reading about this fantastic idea, I decided I will put a charity into my dream as well. I have always felt charitable to many different causes, animal abuse, cancer research, but above all children, abuse, hunger, poverty, all of it scares and hurts me. I was very fortunate growing up for I never really had bullies. Sure there were people who were just plain jerks but nothing I ever felt wronged for. The problem of my youth was that I did witness bullying a lot, and was in fact a bit of a bully as well. Now when I say I was a bully, I don't mean I was the type to take lunch money or give anybody a "swirly", no I was just an angry child who liked to fight and so I would. As I grew up and matured (and calmed down) I realized very quickly what I was doing and once that realization hit me, I was appalled at who I used to be. At that time I tried to make amends with many I had been harsh to. I haven't been able to find or even remember all I have wronged but I am sorry nonetheless and if I ever were to get the opportunity I would gladly buy them lunch and apologize and catch up. As a result of this profound realization I feel more compelled to use a charity that I feel closest to for my walk. I would like to contribute my walk across America to Pacer's National Bullying Prevention Center. My basic plan for this walk is to have a sign on my backpack, Facebook, other websites etc to help generate donations both for my trip and for this charity. I plan to check my funds at the end of every month and donate 60% of all I collect (using the rest for basic necessities such as food, supplies, repair for supplies etc). I have a goal of trying to reach and exceed a donation of $500,000. If I could do that, it would make me very happy and more fulfilled with my life. As I was telling this idea to a couple of friends of mine I jokingly came up with and decided to use "Walk it off" as my campaign name for my walk. I plan to leave (after preparations) July 1st. I am starting this indiegogo asking for only $2000 but whatever I can get will be great. I will make a blog here (not on this forum, I'm just quoting him from the site) within the next few days when I get the chance and find a domain site I can trust. Bullying Is a major problem. One that can so easily be fixed. Over 4400 people get bullied (not just physically but emotionally) and commit suicide a year. This is unacceptable. Pacer's has a slogan: "bullying ends with me". please look at the website. So there you have it, I'm hopping that you will read this and feel inspired to help in any way possible. This would mean a lot to me and so much more to Devon. Please help his dream, his journey, come true. I know this doesn't involve gaming, but he is a big gamer so there is that connection. I wish I could have put this on a page for Indiegogo here on the forums, but that doesn't seem to exist really, so I've put it here. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/walk-it-off--2
  11. Hello everyone! I have a lot in this post but please read through it. I really want feedback from everyone. I want to know if people support what I'm working toward. I just started a campaign on Indiegogo for my organization. I've been working on Indie Softworks for about 9 months now and I've put a lot of work into it. My goal is to complete the creation Indie Softworks sometime in the next couple months. The goal of the organization is to provide free, reliable software to everyone who needs it. I've decided to go beyond this and provide educational articles and tools as well. Basically I will create articles and tutorials to share some of my experiences in application development with others. After I rebuild my site, members will have the opportunity to do the same. I hope this will create a solid community where people can learn and create together. This organization is not a for-profit venture. Please take a look my campaign: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/indie-softworks/x/5934014 A few of the applications I've created so far are below. 1) CBR and CBZ to PDF CBR and CBZ to PDF actually has a lot of support. I initially created this software for myself so I could read manga on my kindle. I decided to publish it in the hopes it could be helpful to others. As it turns out, it was. It has over 17,000 downloads on CNET and Softpedia combined and even got editor's reviews on both sites. 2) EMPU - Enhanced Multilingual Programming Utility This application I designed for personal use as well. I was using Notepad++ and Geany for a lot of my work, but they both have drawbacks. Basically EMPU is a programmer's text editor supporting syntax highlighting for 70 languages, project management, and everything you'd expect from this sort of application (ex. line operations, comment hot keys, compilation, etc). It has a major update coming in the next couple weeks. 3) Windows Start Menu This one is still in the works but will basically be a start menu for Windows 8 and 8.1. Honestly I don't like how the new "start" menu completely breaks you out of what you're doing and brings you to a new screen entirely. It interrupts my workflow. The one I'm creating will be similar to the Windows 7 start menu but designed to match Windows 8/8.1. It also has multiple monitor support. It should be out later this month. I've also developed custom installers for all of these applications. If you're interested, here's one of the articles I've written. I hope to create many, many more - all with both video and written versions. Variadic Functions Thank you for reading my post. I look forward to your feedback!
  12. The game was on indiegogo and raised $12,000 of a $10,000 goal, in order to further improve the game and add new features the game is now on Kickstarter and has reached over $21,000 passing the $10,000 goal. The game has nine days left and many possible stretch goals that can still be reached including new classes and areas to explore. The game has also been accepted by Steam's Greenlight. At the time of this posting there are still 21 early bird backer tiers left where you can get the game for $15 digitally and with a Steam key. Once those are gone $20 is the cheapest level that will include the game. For the pitch video, more information, and to support the game go here.
