http://kotaku.com/ea-shuts-down-simcity-developer-maxis-1689454903 Yep. EA does it again. Worst company ever now decides to shut down a company that gave us a really interesting franchise but to be fair, after the disaster that was Sim City in 2013 plus the meddling that occurred during Spore, it was inevitable. But yes, it's a sad day indeed. Long live Maxis.
Hey guys, since it's initial release I think the new Simcity has improved and even though they said that the maps will never be bigger there have been really great new things like modsupport and offline mod. So I thought about a community region or multiple regions depending on how many would want to join, since the game's focus was community play. So please leave a vote if you would support and join the region/s or just support the project or don't want to support it. After one or two weeks I will close the poll and look at the results.
http://www.ign.com/m/en/news/11762/simcity-offline-mode-is-coming-very-soon In the news it said "when it was first released, EA claimed the way it was built meant it can't be played offline. When modders managed to make this happen however, the publisher had to retract it's original comments, instead admitting that offline mode is not part of it's "vision"". Oh boy. Why not have it in the first place so there won't be so many problems? EA, go back to your room and learn to make good functional games again mister!
Hello all. I do some Streaming on Twitch, and was wondering if wanted to watch. I work for a group of people who have multiple streamers. SO it may not be me on all the time. It's called TotalGamerUK. We accept suggestions on games to play if you get tired of one game. We have interractive streamers, so feel free to spark a comversation baced on the content of the stream. Helpful Hints and suggesting how we play is encourage, of course you don't want to see us being noob in every game. If you like what you watch, hit the fallow button. =) Thanks for your time.
