  3. Hello , I`m here to present a game idea that I think it would be really cool.It started from a small mobile game I made and thought I could make it into an actual great game.I would love to hear your guys opinion on it and I would respond to any question with absolute transparency. Now all the images you will see on the page are early development and since I can`t start working full time on it I could not provide with detailed media. If the game gets funded , full time development will start instantly. The game is called Argo Navis and follows the story of human attempt to colonize and turn away from the dark past it had.You will make clans, upgrade space stations, build capital ships and personal fighters, invade other player sectors and take their resources for your own.It also features a full single player campaign with an engaging story written by...well... me More details are on the indiegogo page. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/make-space-games-great-again-3d-pc/x/10127230#/ Thanks you everyone and have a great day.
  4. Hi, I am not an active group of the AJSA since I am pretty much busy all the time but I have been with the angryjoeshow for almost a decade and I saw something really awesome, that you guys support new games to be developed and I love that. Now I am starting a project of my own and what I want to ask if it is ok to post here about it.I don`t want to be the person who takes advantage of a community and if I have your guys blessing to post it here, if not I wont. Thank you
  5. R.U.S.E makes me love gaming every time I play it. It's not a perfect game, but it does a lot right. Especially since it's a console RTS released in 2010. Watch this video if you like war strategy AND VICTORIOUS DESTRUCTION!!

  10. Spy DNA, the game we’ve been working on for the past year, is on Kickstarter right now! Spy DNA is a tactical squad RPG for Windows PC that combines turn-based game mechanics with realistic combat simulation. Using advanced genetic modification technology, you create and enhance your super-spy character to match your playstyle. The game puts you in command of a small team of super-spies on missions around the globe. We are greatly inspired by the RPGs of the past that made the genre popular in the first place: Jagged Alliance, Silent Storm, and the original XCOM. Here’s the Kickstarter page, and here’s the game homepage. Thank you for your consideration, Alex

  12. For people, who wish to support a really engaged indie dev or just like turn based tactical games wich are very challenging to get into but make it really enjoyable to rush your panicking enemies down, after you got the hang of it: Age of Fear: http://store.steampowered.com/app/351480/ Age of Fear 2: http://store.steampowered.com/app/341150/ The story is text walls and the graphics are probably not state of the art even so they just recently got an upgrade, but the game itself is fun. Huge battle with several dozens units besting each other and AI that does more, than just rushing towards you and lot of ways to evolve your units, or to replace them with something different. Those games are out for quite a while, but that doesn't mean he stopped supporting them while they are working on number 3. Both games just recently got a morale system implemented, making it possible to make your enemies run in fear of you. The head dev is also very active in steam forums, even on sundays and open minded to critics and suggestions. I already had quite a lot discussions with him in the forum about game mechanics and other stuff, and quite some amount of that stuff got implemented. There are also some tricky secrets to uncover in the game.
  13. A place to talk about the total war series, and discuss strategies. Also a place to laugh at how bad total war: rome 2 was.
  14. LETS GO PEOPLE!! Let's have a match of the greatest Total War game to date Shogun 2 !!!! , who is keen ? haha
  15. Personally my favourite to play as so far is Denmark. If you're able to annex Sweden and Norway and create Scandinavia, you get pretty damn OP. Here's a picture of how my Scandinavia game ended.
  16. On Monday I am planning on debuting my Twitch stream (USAFace666) at 5pm Central Time with a special XCOM Long War campaign with a namelist built with AJSA members. 17. This is a game which was inspired by one called Chain of Command back in the late 90s, which was hosted and ran by 2am Game club. In 1999-2000 they went bankrupt and were thenceforth dependant on volunteers for staff but after only months long shut down for good. Since then there has been a community of fans keeping it alive through various incarnations (mainly 2). The community has been small since then but it seems things are looking to change. A group of individuals are looking to revitalize the community with a new one as more than a hobby. Gif showing old graphics compared to the new: Gameplay video: I considered going on and discussing it but really I'd be stating more what I recall of the older versions so it wouldn't be appropriate. I will be backing this personally as I did play the original Call of Combat, a spin off of Chain of Command which was also made by them. They have a demo link on their kickstarter. As it is a multiplayer game you'll have to catch it during day time hours. It isn't a major release so you'll find few online late and may not get a match started just yet. I really hope they get funding as they will be having a regiment (AKA Clan) system set up for formal matches with stat tracking. It's something you only need a few people on for and is great for the less twitch type players and the more strategic and tactical of minds. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kavagamestudio/call-of-combat/description
  18. People, Check out Grey Goo, made by Petroglyph Games, an indie studio formed from the creative minds of Westwood studios, creator of the Command and Conquer Series and the progenitors of RTS.
  19. Hey guys. Creative Assembly just released some new gameplay of Total War: ATTILA: The game's UI, campaign map and army management looks much better than it was in Rome 2. However, if the battles are anywhere near as broken as they were in Rome 2, I definitely won't be buying this. What do you guys think? Will you be pre-ordering the game? Will you hold out until the reviews come out first? Or are you going to stay away all together?
  20. So, I just had an awesome session of Civ:BE. So epic, in fact, I felt like sharing. If anyone else has any stories to add, fire away. So, small map for 4 players. Lower difficulty, but that doesnt affect the story. So there's 2 continents elongated across the center. I play the Kavithan, and pretty early i run into the ARC directly NE, not too far. I'm situated on the thickest part of the continent. I'm none aggressive to start, but naturally i eventually have to engage the aliens, and the early part of this session is me trying to expand and fight aliens. I meet the Slavis Fed to the east, on an isthmus. I know they are the more aggessive faction, plus i want to expand, so I set up on their first city with marines, rangers/gunners, and an artillery. I manage to push thru his combat rovers, missle rovers, and soldiers and eventually I raze one city and puppet the rest. The Franco, who are across the sea to the east, do not like this, nor do the ARC. I pander to their sentiments and eventually amp trade up signif. with ARC. I spend a whole lot of time lvling cities, tech and affinities, choosing supremacy. Health becomes a major factor, so I don't focus too military outside of the aliens. however, at one point, no matter what I tried to do, the ARC declare war, because "its just business." And I had a good thing going with them too. Soon the Franco declare war as well. By now the ARC border is right on mine, so down from the north come the Arc supremacy units. I, however, had CNDRs, Disciples, overseers, and educators. I rush to defend my northern city, but they eventually overrun me and puppet it. I fight long, sending and making units from my slavic cities in the west, which I had long annexed. i focus on disciples, cndrs, and overseers, esp those, for trying to take my city back. I finally reclaim it, only to lose it the next turn again. After a few more, I reclaim it again. The entire time im trying to negotiate, but no luck. So, with some effort, i build up and roll north, crushing a startup city to the NE, and hitting his northern city, then turning east towards the capital. I also begin to push from the SE. By now, she's no longer producing units, so rolling over the cities gets way easy. By now, I've got prophets, executors, apostles, and heralds, with some arbiters as well, plus a ton of prime cndrs. I take her capital, and then her last cities. She "writes it off in debit." Soon after, Franco calls for peace, but I want Harmony blood, and she hated me more than ARC did. I cross the see in epic pacfic theater fashion, with a D-Day vibe in between. my shepard and arbiters soften a small northern city, and my troops land and begin an epic charge towards her capital, despite the cobras, marauders and locusts. Her cities are massively built up and tightly spaced, so i start taking fire from multiple cities. The academies and gardens outside the capital provide an epic, surreal feeling as my cndrs and apostles charge the center of harmony aggression. I take the capital, securing my place in the future and winning a domination victory. Epic. I want a movie. So, what's yours?
  21. This doesn't necessarily have anything to do with Joe's vids. I've been following this game way longer than that. In fact, I tweeted the launch trailer to Joe, and 30min later he tweeted, so if I steered Joe towards a worthwhile pick, it's been a good day, idiot "not a review" comment whiners not withstanding. Anyway...anyone wanna play this? The community for this game is currently solid. I always find opponents. I'm asking since we have a teamspeak, which would be pretty invaluable especially in 2v2. Post below and we'll get to playing.
  22. I want to start playing Civilization and have never played a strategy game like it before. (I mostly play Total War and Divinity Dragon Commander) Do you think it is worth getting Civilization Beyond Earth when it comes out (I'm UK) or is there another Civilization you would recommend for beginners in the series? Thanks for your advice!
