  1. Foxhole is the game we've been waiting for in the AJSA! Been wanting a suitable replacement for Planetside, but been disappointed by the failed wannabes? This game doesn't just fill the gap, it truly has the capacity to go farther. Everything you do has an effect on the outcome of battle, for both good or ill. Not the best at fighting? No worries, this game requires players to build vast amounts of base defenses, as well as run your entire team's economy. The front-line cannot function without the supplies you send them. There is a place for everyone here, plus the game is top-down, similar in camera angle to Diablo, and the game is not overly graphic heavy. Interested in forming a clan ingame? Game is currently only $20 USD, so hop on it and join the AJSA in Foxhole! Post here with questions or if you wish to join in. Game will be officially supported once we have the numbers. If you wish to debate the game's viability, do so on discord. http://store.steampowered.com/app/505460/Foxhole/
  2. Hello there everyone! So I don't know about you, but I'm getting rather sick and tired entering into a random game be it in any mode, and the only other person who has a microphone being the twelve year old who screams and calls everyone a fa**ot when they die despite the fact the character they chose was totally unsuited for the situation the other team was in, and rather than group up with the rest of the group, keeps going in solo despite not even being a tanking character or having a high enough skill level to take on 1 v 5. In case you haven't been able to tell, yeah, its been a rough night for me now that I'm posting this. So I was wanting to find some people, preferably with microphones, to join up with me in Overwatch who will actually be helpful and is willing to work as a team, as opposed to the situation above. If you want a little more info on me, I'm a Symmetra main, lvl 19, and although I do tend to have a preference for generally playing support (even though Symmetra shouldn't really be classed as support...) I can play offense or tank when the situation calls for it. My PSN and BattleNet name is ASOBlueRose, feel free to post here or hit me up, microphone is preferred for communication but not essential. I look forward to playing with you guys!
  3. I know the PC will probably have theirs day one but has anyone started thinking about making a clan on PS4????
  4. We should get a team together for Paragon. Joe just did a live stream yesterday (8/17/2016) and it shows you the basics and its a new game so lets get into it and start playing for the Angry Army. I don't want to really lead it but I would like someone to start a team so we can all play together. The game is fairly new and thats the time to start to get at it so we can become great at it and face other people. I hope to see you there Comment your PSN name down below or just your username if you are on the PC. Thanks Brisingr

  8. Attention, AJSA members! The European division of Heroes of the Storm is happy to announce its first official event. Although the division itself has already been a part of AJSA for quite some time, this is the first time we’re organizing an event on such scale. We’re treating this event as our introduction to the AJSA community and we’re happy to invite other AJSA members to have fun together in the amazing world of Heroes of the Storm. What is HotS? Before moving on to the details of the HotS EU Introduction Event, let us explain how HotS differs from other MOBA games. The most distinguishable feature of HotS is its gameplay’s focus on teamwork instead of skills of individual players. Blizzard has made an effort to make HotS reward cooperation between players, thus supporting the philosophy of the MOBA genre. Official Heroes of the Storm website. The purpose of the event The main reason behind the HotS EU Introduction Event is to introduce the AJSA community to the amazing world of Heroes of the Storm and to recruit more players as member of the team. In the future we plan to create a competitive team representing us during e-sport tournaments. However, in order to achieve it, we require more players to join. Although our event is directed mainly towards the European members of AJSA, we encourage players from all over the world to join in as well. We believe that the spirit of HotS suits perfectly communities such as AJSA and that every player who enjoys co-op games will find his or her place in the Heroes of the Storm team. What to expect? As a part of the HotS EU Introduction Event we offer you a unique chance to meet member of the team and provide an introduction to the mechanics of HotS gameplay. Utilizing Custom Games and Team Speak we aim to host a series of friendly 4vs4 matches on the Haunted Mines map. We’ve chosen this particular setup because we believe that it matches the uniqueness of the Heroes of the Storm gameplay. In order to ensure that every participant has a chance to properly enjoy the game, we suggest teams of four, which divides into two pairs, each pair consisting of one HotS team member and one participant of the event. This way we aim to create an environment in which even inexperienced MOBA players will have a chance to learn the gameplay mechanics of HotS and the differences between HotS and other MOBA games. Queue In order to ensure that every participant has a chance to take part in the event, we will open a waiting room for the players waiting in the queue. The waiting room will be in a form of an interactive stream. Taure, the vice-leader of the European HotS division, will answer questions and provide an ongoing commentary of the matches, as well as the explanation of the current events in the game. Everyone who simply wants to learn about the mechanics of HotS or just wants to watch the gameplay is invited as well. Taure's twitch chanel. Where and when? The matches of HotS EU Introduction Event will begin on the 12th of September 2015, at 8PM GMT sharp. Everyone who wants to take part in the matches is asked to come at least 10 minutes earlier to the Heroes of the Storm channel (subchannel of the EU Lobby), the official AJSA TeamSpeak. The streaming of the event will start at 7:30PM GMT. The additional 30 minutes will be spent on intruduction of the MOBA genre and the Heroes of the Storm gameplay basics. As the European division of AJSA, we’re counting on your attendance and hope to create many similar events in the future, in order for everyone to have a great time playing with us. 10. Im making this thread so that users who do not have a team can find other people to try and make a team with and also so that teams who are nearly complete can find members who can fit the roles that they need so below post your preferred role and also your dota2 buff which gives people an idea of what you are like in DOTA. http://dotabuff.com/
  11. *NOTE: After recent suggestions that a Minecraft server purely for building is too specific, the request has been altered to include survival and possibly contests (Hungergames/PvPvE/etc.). Also, due to the unexpected amount of volunteers, I must unfortunately say that they will be tested first rather than automatically given teacher position. Volunteers will be tested first, then when the server has teachers non-volunteers will be tested if they apply for a position. So I have yet to see a single topic about a Angry Army Minecraft build team, and figured what the heck, might as well give it a go. Let me start off by giving some background of me and the game. I've been building for a few months but have found a decent talent for building and have had lots of support in compliments and critique on the forum I use to showcase my builds. The game itself, in case you haven't heard of it, is a retro graphic game about mining, crafting, building, fighting, and really anything else you could think of. Which brings me to my Pros and Cons. Pros - Fairly cheap ($20) - Easy to learn (comparatively) - Unbelievably compatible to any play style - Open world - Open to creativity Cons - Generally not fun without friends/other people - Eventually requires creativity/artistic talent - A great deal of lag if you play on a laptop or old desktop - A great deal of bugs - Generally has low content depending on playstyle (Fighting/Building/Crafting/etc.) http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1961172-what-ive-built/page__st__40 I realize I'm not the best builder, and am open to suggestions as well as giving the leader to position to a better builder. I just happen to be the first here. Also, I can't pay for servers so if that's a problem then I would gladly give that position or the entire position of leader to someone else. List of Volunteers to be tested for the team (Ignore this, just a list of people who have already volunteered in advance to be a part of the team) - LoneWolf - MrAckle - Wintermanv3 - TheNorthian - smoking0_0gun - aConsoleCouple (aka ElvenBlossom) - SirStriped - BSB (BSWraithmaw) - Nightheaven - DEADMUFFINMAN - SANGUIS - Ender - gabedude123 - Drmurk - Dyzzles - EyesWL - Mighty Falcon - BlondishMist748 *BANNED from AJSA; no profile available for viewing List of unconfirmed volunteers to be tested for the team (Again, just ignore this) - Jjr. - Sir Scoops List of absolute must have volunteers (Coding, redstone, able to support server extensively, etc.; not necessarily all builders) - MaxterG (Able to use redstone; volunteering to build) - Oxyorum (Able to program) - Dr. Xeno Pootis (Able to use redstone; volunteering to build)

If you want to sign up just post your name below and I'll contact you at a later time. If you are chosen to be part of the AJSA team you'll be required to follow these steps in order to take part in events/tournaments: Go to http://play.eslgaming.com/home and sign up. Download ESL wire = CLICK HERE Sign up to the AJSA ESL team here: http://play.eslgaming.com/team/8893599/ I will personally get in touch with everyone who is chosen to join the team and I'll talk you through the steps on how to sign up. Once we have at least one team of 5 people, we'll be ready to sign up for any upcoming Insurgency tournaments. Warning: Some ESL tournaments are locked to European players so if you're American, there might be a chance that you might not be able to take part in every single tournament. If you have any questions, please contact me, AverageSpacePope.
  13. Hi, my name is Sid and I'm a very passionate League of Legends player. I'm looking for an ACTIVE Ranked Team who needs a patient, friendly and dedicated player. I main MID lane, but can play efficiently adc, top, support. I'm currently in gold. My summoner name is StrikeFreedøm. If interested feel free to add me in game or simply answer this post. See you in the Fields of Justice, GL&HF
  14. Hey everyone. Probably a few days early, but I was wondering if anyone is going to host the halo 5 guardians beta from december 29th to january 18th, just like any of the events that was hosted during the AJSA Anniversary Week?.
  15. Hi! I'm looking for a team of people to play LoL ranked with! I must be decent because in normal games I always get placed with Plat, Silver, and Gold players. I either do very well 90 percent of the time, and the other ten percent where I'm not doing so hot, I do whatever I can to avoid feeding or catch up. I'm in Bronze 2 for ranked. If you have a team that's missing a position or you'r forming a team, I'm best at Top, adc, and Mid in that order. As for jungle and Supp, I'm a better jungler then support. Send me a message if you'r interested. Top: Kha, Malph, Fiora, Kayle, Akali. (Mostly Used champs) Mid: Kha, TF, Kayle, Annie,Akali Adc: TF, Ez, Cait Jung:Warwick, Kha Supp:Annie I use Lux and Nasus occasionally also.
  16. Awesomenauts is one of my favorite arcade games on steam/xbox since late 2012. This game brings many new ideas to the MOBA genre and is also a game which doesn't take commitment to be good at the game(unlike other MOBAS with complex and plenty of perks and items to remember and master). This game plays just like a regular MOBA game, but is in 2D and is very comical with funny champions such as a pimp-frog called FroggyG, and the game can't be taken very seriously. PROS - Unique 2D MOBA game with a vast amount of online players to play with, and not a complex game unlike other MOBAS - Needs lots of teamwork which is perfect for a community of this scale - Arcade game that doesn't take commitment and can be played for 1-10 hour periods at a time! CONS - 6 players/match - game still pretty new so not many champions currently out(24 champions out with starstorm) - $10 game and DLC costs extra I hope Awesomenauts makes the list in the official =AJSA= games list!!
  17. My team is looking for a competent Marksman for ranked 5v5 team play. The level of skill I'm looking for is bare minimum Gold V, preferably high Gold. This player would also have to maintain a positive attitude, friendly, and open to growth. You will learn a lot playing with my team that could help improve your performance exponentially. My summoner name is Retributiøn. Post your summoner name and ranked please.
  18. Im starting this thread to find people to play online with, If you would like to join me and oneone else here to play ranked or unranked League Of Legends (LOL) just leave your Avatar name, region and what type of match you are interested in playing Ill be the first to do so Summoner Name: Relaxion Region: North America Areas: Ranked, Unranked and AARAM
  19. Hey guys, Reasoning for Request: As Angry Joe said in one of his recent youtube videos on the AJSA, this community is also capable of creating some competitive teams. SC2 is the perfect game to have a competitive team in, given the many competitive opportunities in the pro gaming scene even for semi-professional teams. I think SC2 has the potential to be a major component, even if it's small, to our new community! Pros: - Integrated team / clan / community system - Ranked, unranked, and custom games (something for everyone) - Fun to play with or without other players - Highly competitive atmosphere! - Fast paced RTS Cons: - Highly competitive - Steep learning curve - Necessary expansion purchase (Wings of Liberty as well as Heart of the Swarm) EDIT: Additional information (Thanks to DarKnoob):
  20. Why am I doing this? Because I wish my teammates would use it more often, so I have to talk to them less . And I see there are always problems with Teams arranging their Training. Usually the Captain needs to PM every member over and over and this leads to frustration. So chill out, set up a schedule with multiple choice of times and dates and let your team decide when they want to finally be all online for Training. This site is also taking in considerations time-zones so it's one less think to care about. What you need to do as a Captain: Create an account at doodle.com . Create a new Event and set it up. You choose Dates and times when you think the Training should take place and you let your team tell you when they can and when they can't be there individually. Non of them needs to create an Account just to enter a name and an answer when they can or can't be there. Just send them the Link for the Event at doodle.com so they can enter their vote. At the end you see the results and decide for the Date and Time that is most favored. It takes not more then 8 steps, here is an example:
  21. Hey guys and gals! Today I wanted to do a quick shout out for a new MOBA...ish game called Gigantic. A old co-worker of mine was able to get a chance to interview/play this pre-alpha build. Check it out!
