  8. I've been thinking about buying the X-Box One, and my local electronics store just put up a deal for a X-Box One, plus the Division. So my question is, should I do it? I've heard some good stuff about The Division and X-Box One, but I've also heard alot of bad things. Please help me with this. It costs 349 euro's, which is around 394$ US. Is that a good deal or not? Please let me know.

In the statement he also mentioned the need to fix bugs and multiplayer issues, and said that they would now be giving the transgender character an even larger role in the game with a future update, which should make the very few people who actually thought that the inclusion was a token one happy while upsetting the people who were clearly pretending that was the reason they were upset (like below) or the ones who were blatantly just against having transgender characters in games. Their announcement has upset science fiction writer Vox Day, a white supremacist and someone who talks about why giving women the right to vote was a mistake, so, good for Beamdog. Multiple Bioware employees (not including the one who just left Bioware to work for Beamdog) and the director and communication manager for D&D (as well as the creator of the setting Ed Greenwood) have also defended Beamdog, so the people saying that Bioware would never have written something like this and who don't know anything about D&D and don't think transgender characters should be in the setting, probably wrong. Why Dark Souls 3 should have an easy mode and the problem with 'playing to win' I don't think the, make it easier, argument is thought all the way through sometimes, not that wanting an easier difficulty is an inherently bad idea or sentiment (the raging gatekeeping fanboys in the comment section might disagree). Doing something like putting in an invincibility mode in the new Star Fox is easy and doesn't alter the actual gameplay, having a story mode setting to not have to worry about combat in something like Pillars of Eternity/Baldurs Gate/Dragon Age makes sense (and Pillars and the new BG expansion do), but making Dark Souls easy would involve looking into what makes it hard for individual people, would it be the bosses, the regular enemies, showing you boss patterns so you don't have to die multiple times and run back to figure them out, falling or being knocked off of cliffs, traps, not playing a character type that seems to be working well for them, etc. An easy Dark Souls mode would likely involve rebuilding areas of the map or repositioning enemies in ways that people who only wanted an easier time in one particular area wouldn't have wanted and could be a much more difficult and time consuming undertaking than adding an easy mode to most games. It's not a bad idea but it's not as simple as just making the enemy do less damage like it is in many games. If the developer believed they had a good way of doing it I'd be all for it. 22. Tom Clancy's The Division Beta starts XBone Jan 28, PS4 and PC Jan 29. While the engine looks like it may have been downgraded, the gameplay/mechanics may still be viable. Anyone who plans to be part of the Beta, whether by pre-purchase or beta key, please post here to show your interest. With enough people, we can set up a TS channel specifically for the Beta, and even schedule an event time for enough of us to meet up, maximizing our "REVIEW MODE" ability. We can then compile our feedback for a unified thread to send to the devs. I always think the AJSA needs to be visible, and focused feedback through group threads is one way to do that. If The Division turns out to be a "Classic Ubisoft", then we need not spend a moment longer on it, but if the hype is real, then we can move towards supporting it. After the Destiny debacle, this game could fit that niche for us. 23. Look, I'm only a 19 year old gamer who is just about to finish High School and head to College afterwords. Being a cynical prick to every game announcement, is not something I want to be as I age with this industry. Star Wars: Battlefront is one such game I can't get excited about because of it. Sure the fact that DICE (Battlefield) is developing gives it a lot of potential to be great; DICE and EA's track record over these last couple of years deflates any type of hype I had for the title. I just can't shake the fact that Battlefront is just going to be both a BF4 re-skin and a DLC cash cow. I don't want to believe any of it, but I just can't; and when you count the fact that it will have NO Space Battles, No Clone Wars Era, and only 4 planets on launch, makes the entire thing sound more like DICE trying to make a movie tie-in instead of a normal Battlefront game. We haven't seen any gameplay yet and there is already a Digital Deluxe pre-order available? Seriously EA, fuck off with that shit... This also affects my anticipation for both Rainbow 6: Siege and The Division. The concepts for both these games are fantastic and have a huge amount of potential. However, just like with DICE and EA, Ubisoft's track record completely destroys my hype for it. Everything from Assassin's Creed Unity's broken launch to the Watch Dogs fiasco just lead to Ubisoft dropping the ball again with both titles. I seriously don't want to feel like this with any of these games. I should be hyped up about every announcement for each of these games, but with this routine the gaming industry has been following, I just can't get excited anymore.
