Hey fellow Command and Conquer fans, I am out here today to try and get an answer to one of my longest standing questions. Why does everyone seem to hate the newer C&C's so much? And outside mainstream hate from younger audiences that haven't even played the originals I fail to see what westwood did that was so godly superior compared to other mortal game developers? One of the most common arguments I see is that westwood was more willing to take risks and experiment with gameplay and mechanics which I can agree upon to a certain degree looking back at the burrow units, teleporters and giant squids. However the never games introduced a new faction into the game and introduced "special abilities" for every unit(red alert) which I see as a pretty big alteration of the standard formula. That is just one example an I look foreward to seeing what people think on the matter, be prepared however cause I will dig and question everything you say so you better be prepared and have a foundation for your standings Can't wait to discuss this with all of my fellow C&C fans. And as an end note I don't really include C&C 4 under this category as I don't even like it myself, but feel free to bring it up if you have some revelation about it to share with the rest of us
