  1. Hello , I`m here to present a game idea that I think it would be really cool.It started from a small mobile game I made and thought I could make it into an actual great game.I would love to hear your guys opinion on it and I would respond to any question with absolute transparency. Now all the images you will see on the page are early development and since I can`t start working full time on it I could not provide with detailed media. If the game gets funded , full time development will start instantly. The game is called Argo Navis and follows the story of human attempt to colonize and turn away from the dark past it had.You will make clans, upgrade space stations, build capital ships and personal fighters, invade other player sectors and take their resources for your own.It also features a full single player campaign with an engaging story written by...well... me More details are on the indiegogo page. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/make-space-games-great-again-3d-pc/x/10127230#/ Thanks you everyone and have a great day.
  2. Hi, I am not an active group of the AJSA since I am pretty much busy all the time but I have been with the angryjoeshow for almost a decade and I saw something really awesome, that you guys support new games to be developed and I love that. Now I am starting a project of my own and what I want to ask if it is ok to post here about it.I don`t want to be the person who takes advantage of a community and if I have your guys blessing to post it here, if not I wont. Thank you
  3. How about we create an Angry Joe Army clan on Of Kings and Men? I love playing the game the community usually plans events every saturday, wednsday and 1st sunday of the month. The game doesn't have the playerbase it had in the begining but it has been reviving. With love, Fox

  7. Greetings locals of the forum. It has been a long while since last time i was here, and I don't like to do these stuff, but progress must be made. As we all know, we love video games, as far as i know... I just make videos and put them on the internet, and i want to share them with you. Like I mentioned before, i don't usually like to advertise myself or all that stuff, but as I create more and more content, i want to grow as well in the progress. The only problem that comes with it, i'm a military soldier who does not have all the time in the world. I may not be the best content creator, but i do try with the time given, even if it means schedule everything in advance. If you like what you see, i will be thankful if you will stick around and help this channel grow. I guess it will be more comfortable to post just few video of each of the recent playlists (because I am not familiar with how to post playlists). P.S: The Name SerieLis stands for Gray Fox in Russian

  11. Can there be a Teamspeak 3 Channel in the AJSA for Naval Action since this game is going to be awesome. I don't see someone saying no to this since there is a Star Citizen Teamspeak channel that no one goes in. http://www.navalaction.com/#ageofsail

  14. Okay so who got Bayonetta 2 today? I did and it's awesome but this game can be really difficult to master especially with the higher difficulties.
  15. I stumbled on this game a few weeks ago, and thought It looked pretty awesome. http://www.navalaction.com/ It's an age of sail fighting game basically, you control a ship (real ships), fight other players and try to win. It's still in closed Beta, but they'll be moving it into Steam in the not too distant future, and It's already been Greenlighted. It looks great: And looks pretty damn fun: Apart from basic multiplayer, they're also working on a sandbox mode, with exploration, economies and such. Kinda like Star Citizen in the 1700s.
  16. I'm going to start watching Rambo First Blood, Part I first to find out how the corrupt police officer tricked him into getting him into trouble, which Rambo goes out on the street causing chaos to distract the police with an M249. I've seen the first Terminator, and I really like Arnie portrayed as a villain not a hero in subsequent Terminator films.
  17. This is a review for the fairly new but obscure game Transistor. The game is about a woman named Red who is a jazz singer in this futuristic pretty as hell city called Cloudbank, and her boyfriend, mr Badass in a sword. The game starts with her about to get impaled by a sword by these assassins known as the Cameratas that consists of 4 members who are apparently fashionistas. Her boyfriend protected her from the sword and he got impaled by it, but instead of getting killed, he is absorbed into the sword. Red lost her voice, and she's out for revenge against the Cameratas for good old Kill Bill esque ass kicking, with her boyfriend as her weapon. He doesn't have a name because he doesn't bother putting his info to the city's database, but he is talking all the time to Red like the narrator from Bastion. The game is made by the same people behind Bastion. It's however a different kind of game. In Bastion it's all straightforward action of shooting and slicing enemies. In here it's kind of like that, but with turn based strategy elements. At any point, you can press spacebar to enter a planning mode. You will stop time and you can do whatever action you want during it, and when it's over all the actions will start in a flash. This is a good strategy to deal with many enemies, and if you are skilled enough you can kill a lot of enemies in 1 turn, which is such an awesome feeling. Your weapons is a sword called the Transistor. It's a multi purpose weapon which uses people's souls. At the start of the game you can only use Red's and her boyfriend's soul as weapons, but as you level up you will gain more souls to use in battle. Each of the souls are famous people of Cloudbank, like a football player, a detective, an escape artist etc, and each of them will make the sword do different stuff. The detective will make the sword shoots lasers like a machine gun, the escape artist will enable you to become invisible to the enemies, and the football player will let you do an upward sword slash. You can also use the souls as a support for other souls. So you can equip the detective with the football player, which will make his machine gun laser attack even stronger. You will want to use the souls differently because it will unlock their backstories which is pretty interesting to read. You can equip up to 4 slots for attacks, or more if you upgrade the limit. If your health is empty, you will lose an attack and you have to go to 2 skill allocation boxes to get that attack back. Modifiers like in Bastion returns, and if you want challenging fights, these things are for you. The game's graphic and music is beautifully done. It's colorful, the animation for the city and characters are well done, and the music is all jazzy, both fast paced and slow paced. Jazz fans will love the soundtrack of this game. One gripe I have with the game is while levelling up, you can sometimes get souls of the main enemies in the game, even though they're not dead yet. I assume they're already dead, but later in the game I meet them in person. I'm Like what??? Is it a glitch or something? Their souls are the most useful and powerful ones though, so I can't complain much. Overall, another great game from the makers of Bastion. I give this game the rating of "so good you can't wait for the sequel (if there is any)."
  18. Hey everyone. Just wondering about who is super excited for the new Monster hunter game. 19. Dear Gamers, (TL;DR? Skip to the last paragraph) I was just hanging out in a chatroom in Chatango and one person who somewhat assumed I was a (offensive word removed) was “advertising” his blog about ragers, trashtalkers, and for some reason, game developers too. Here is the link that he was "advertising" http://thatdudewhoplaysgames.wordpress.com/2014/02/24/an-open-letter-to-ragers-and-trashtalkers-as-well-as-game-developers/ I can forgive that person for assuming I was a (offensive word removed) because of my usual antics and what not in the chatroom, as well as that person was just new to the group. But I would like to get back on-topic about the blog he or she made. As I was reading his/her post, he or she was very polite. Instead of adding swears, insults, and slurs, he or she just explained politely what he or she hears and sees through the chatbox and voice chat. Which begs the question: What are games? Are they meant to be fun? Are they meant to be taken seriously, regardless of how little is at stake? I’ve been playing games competitively and casually for a fairly long time. I have also wondered if I really want to become a professional gamer as well. Well, I’ll be honest, I still want to be a professional gamer to this day, but I know that no matter how much I keep playing to improve my skills, I will never be fit or skilled to become one. Then, I asked myself if I play it for fun or not. I just realized that what brought me to that path was because I had fun, and what is fun is normally what people want to keep doing. Which is why I pursued to become a professional gamer, but then failed. I just play games for the experience that each game offers, if and/or because I find them fun. But really, my biggest concern are those toxic players. For those who really want to make their respective game communities peaceful, you guys should do your part in making the game’s experience more enjoyable or more endurable. Don’t whip them newbies with things like “F*ck you man, uninstall the game” or something similar. Help them to get things right. However, if you have been doing your part to make the game more enjoyable or more endurable, but you see or feel as there is no improvement, don’t stop. Your community needs the likes of you, even if they think they don’t. They will regret not having you around, whether they know it or not. For those who choose to rage, blame, spew out insults, slurs, and offensive language/s, please… if you have nothing better to say, then keep your hands/fingers off the voice chat or the chatbox. You are just filling up a screen that makes it harder to see what is really going on. Just because your team and/or your opponents have been doing things that frustrate you, using the chatbox is just something that makes the overall experience of the game more stressful. If using insults, slurs, and offensive language is your technique to winning… it just proves that you can’t play the game. If you choose to blame your teammates for your/their incompetence, or fail to accept that the other team just outplayed you and your team to getting the win, then please stop queuing up alone. And for those who do end up losing their patience, I can’t blame you for giving a f*ck. But please, if you do so, you’ll just end up inspiring him to do more. HOWEVER, if that person refuses to stop, regardless of how much you ignore him, then that is beyond your control already. Which would then lead me to my other concern. Game Devs… Just get this one thing right. If you guys are going to make an online multiplayer game, let alone having PVP multiplayer feature in it, please make a chatblock feature. If you guys have implied that, be sure that it is as easy as 1, 2, 3, and not having to leave the lobby or room just to do that. Maybe a simple “rightclick + ignore” would be easier. And it would be much appreciated if it blocks voice chat and chat through the chatbox effective immediately after activating them. Why do so? This may introduce a cold-shoulder effect or something, but it is a good idea to further lessen the victim’s intake of the toxicity of players who rage, blame, talk trash, use offensive language, and so on. Plus, sometimes it is not the game that drives the players to stop playing your game… it is the players in it, or more specifically the ones who just make the game’s experience worse. Come on guys, you are still gamers. Guess what? Other game developers have applied and simplified it. I mean, look at League of Legends which allegedly has the most toxic gaming community. Riot has added a chatblock feature just by pressing no more than 2 buttons. To make things short: 1.) Gamers, please make the game more enjoyable or more endurable. 2.) Ragers, blamers, trashtalkers, basically toxic players, please don’t make the game’s experience a headache. You are making us looks bad. 3.) Game devs, please add and/or simplify the chatblock feature in your online multiplayer games. There are lots of people out there that would rather piss off others for their incompetence or for the sake of one’s own pleasure at another’s expense. 4.) This letter is barely scratching the surface. There are other issues other than this. Yours truly, a reformed toxic player named Deso (This is copied and pasted from my Tumblr http://desokun.tumblr.com/post/77778956386/an-open-letter-to-gamers just incase someone is going to ask)
  20. I love nintendo, i love RPGs, which nintendo character or franchise would make an amazing RPG?
  21. "Dust: An Elysian Tail" (developed by Dean Dodrill) is a 2D action-platformer RPG released on Steam in 2013 and Xbox 360 (Live Arcade) in 2012. You get to play an anthropomorphic samurai in a well-animated picturesque world made of various anthropomorphic animals (and a talking sword), gradually uncovering your mysterious past as you gain skills, craft items, collect treasures and complete quests. On the hardest of all difficulty levels (hardcore, tough, normal, casual), I completed 100% of this game (including all Steam achievements), which often proved impossible without impeccable gameplay (especially at the beginning). To beat the final boss, I needed to be at the maximum level (i.e. level 60); and it was still a pretty intense challenge. I got about 40 hours of gameplay out of this game, but I wasted about half that time attempting to progress and achieve things, only to die and have to restart from the last save. Going beyond the frustrations of my many failures in the game, I can't think of anything in this game that I didn't either like or love, except maybe the music, which was just "o.k." as it did at least fit the atmosphere well enough. In my opinion, the story was fairly original and its delivery would often get as intense as the game's battles. As the main character (and with your "sidekick"), you can potentially create many powerful combos as you grow your set of skills. By the end of the game, you may find yourself flying and slashing through a pretty big area, killing several monsters at once with your sword and magic powers (making combos in the triple digits). There's even an optional side-quest and achievement that expects you to make a combo of at least 1000. You may not have to worry too much about creating combos though. I often found myself accidentally failing combos, only to create other combos that still helped me cause damage. You gradually get the hang of the battle's ebb and flow; and combos become second-nature. From what I could tell, you can immerse yourself into the story by choosing "casual" mode and listening to character interactions between the quick-and-easy battles and dungeon quests. If you just don't care about the story though, then you can skip (through the pause menu) any cutscene that suddenly comes-up, so that you can go straight to kicking-ass again. Battles are the most fun on "hardcore" mode, but expect to hear the main character's death rattle a whole lot (from 1-hit kills) while in that mode. The game costs $15 USD on Steam (as of this post) and I'd say that it's worth the price overall. Although, it probably depends on whether or not all of the above sounds appealing to you at all.
  22. Pros: Non-Stop action.True anarchy.Fun characters.fun and easy to master fighting system.LOTS of Explosions!Cons: Generic enemies (considering most of the fun of this game comes from multiplayer this can or can not be an issue)With only 19 usable characters and with not enough maps and game modes the game can become monotonous after a while.online lvl tops at 50.this game never received much support and the servers are usually empty.Have this game on ps3
  23. what is the best/worst game you have ever played and why?
  24. Hello! My name is Jake and I'm from Oregon, USA!! Though I do spend allot of time practicing martial arts, I have recently been taking up online PC gaming, I enjoy MMO, RPG, Action, Adventure, Horror games, and I hope to find many more people to enjoy them within this community!
