Dragons, Mechs, and Ninjas...this will be exciting! Join the Angry Army this Saturday on November 10th for our second round of events for ‘Special Operations: Quinquennial’! Our celebration of the AJSA 5th Year Anniversary continues with a slate of free to play titles that will provide members a unique opportunity to revisit more titles that helped shape the community what it is today. The titles featured this Saturday are MechWarrior Online on PC, Warframe on Playstation 4, and Neverwinter on Xbox One. The backround of each game and event details are detailed below. Thank you and enjoy! Backrounds On PC the origins of MechWarrior Online stem from the original ‘Expeditionary Force’. The Expeditionary Force was then, and remains now, the primary organizing operation in the PC Division. In their initial structure the Expeditionary Force would select a new game every month to feature on PC, waging month long campaigns in said game across a variety of events and activities. One of their goals was to find titles that the community as a whole could support after the Expeditionary Force had moved onto another battle. MechWarrior Online emerged and proved to be one of the most successful Expeditionary Force titles in their history. The first EF events for MWO occured in February 2016 and in April 2016 the game received official support with their own in-game operations and organized events for PC. The AJSA MWO unit was one of the most active clans in the community with events running well into 2018. On Playstation 4 Warframe Game Nights date back to January 2015. Warframe has served the Playstation 4 community in the AJSA very well over the years, serving as an engaging and companionable hub for many members to gather to play and have fun with their friends on Saturday nights. The PS4 Division has always strived to be unconventional, offering something different that the other Divisions don’t offer. They like to their own indistinguishable mark on games they visit, twisting ideas to make them as unique as they can. Warframe would be no different. What started as a joke last year became legendary and is considered one of the most fun Warframe Game Nights ever on Playstation 4. ‘Fashion Frame’, where PS4 members held their own fashion costume contest, returns for the AJSA 5th Anniversary with a part two to see what wacky and fun designs people can showcase this time around. On Xbox One Neverwinter represents a distinct period of time in the history of the Xbox One Division where MMOs were an important fabric of our day to day activities. Neverwinter holds the honor of being the first official MMO game to be supported on Xbox One with events starting in May 2015 and an in-game Guild was established, one of our oldest AJSA Guilds on Xbox One still in operation today. In February 2016 Neverwinter entered into an ‘MMO renaissance’ on Xbox, teaming up with our Elder Scrolls Online Guild at the time to organize and hold ‘MMO Fridays’, an initiative to bring together our MMO members every Friday night to play together. This effort was part of a greater campaign in the Xbox One Division to expand and redefine the Xbox Division as a whole. While MMO games may no longer be as prevalent within the Xbox Division today, we’ll never forget that these titles such as Neverwinter and Elder Scrolls Online played a key role in our past to grow and sustain the community during a time of much change. 4. AJSA Xbox One - Destiny Raid Night - Vault of Glass To observe and celebrate the 5th Year Anniversary of the AJSA Gaming Community, the 'Angry Guardians' are returning to the front lines once more to defeat an old foe. Together we will be entering the Vault of Glass with the goal of finding and eliminating Atheon, Time's Conflux to stop the Vex from taking over time as we know it. Our Raid Night and journey back into the Vault will begin at 7:30pm EST on Friday November 9th in this explosive trip down memory lane. Early attendance is encouraged as space in each raid group is limited. Please note that Raid groups are limited to six players. None of the Destiny Expansions are required to participate and no particular Light Level is required to do the raid. There will also be a sign up post in the AJSA Club for those who wish to register in advance. Please look under the 'Multiplayer' section of the Club to find it. The Vault of Glass Raid difficulty will be set to ‘Normal’. This will ensure a relaxed and fun Raid experience. Coordination will still be important and participants must be ready to listen to instructions by the hosts in attempting to complete the Raid. We expect the Raid to take up to at least 60 to 90 minutes to complete. Join the Angry Army this Saturday on November 3rd for our first round of events for ‘Special Operations: Quinquennial’! Across PC and console to kick off the AJSA 5th Year Anniversary celebrations we are gathering to play Battlefield 4, a unique title that undoubtedly served as a unifying force within our community for many years across numerous amounts of events, game nights, and other activities. We are proud to feature Battlefield 4 this weekend and look back on a title that brought so much of us together. On PC Battlefield 4 was an important title in the early months of the community following the launch of the AJSA in November 2013. May 3rd, 2014 marked the first ever ‘Battlefield 4 Op Night’ in the PC Division with members from the original ‘Angry Army Platoon’ banding together to play. This would mark the first of many AJSA events on PC for Battlefield 4 and support for the game continued into 2015 before regular events ended. Thanks to the hard and efforts of all the organizers and participants, Battlefield 4 served a key role in the beginning of the AJSA. On PS4 Battlefield 4 is a game that helped form what Game Nights in the Playstation 4 Division is today. Prior to what you all know and love about Game Nights, these events for PS4 members were once called ‘Angry Invasions’. The concept was simple. Show Up. Team Up. Blow Everything Up. The Angry Invasions served as a place for players on Playstation 4 to group up and play together back before the Playstation 4 Division, and Game Nights, were even a thing. Yes, back when the AJSA was first formed there was only a PC Division. For those who took part in these ‘Angry Invasion’ gathers on PS4, you are what set the foundation for Game Nights and Playstation 4 as a whole. On Xbox One Battlefield 4 also served as an important title during the early days of the Xbox One Division in the Spring of 2014. In April 2015 Battlefield 4 became the first ‘official game’ of the Xbox One Division with its own Game Officer and staff. (similar to what many PC games at the time had in the community). It served as the flagship game for the Division for nearly two years, holding the original record of the longest running weekly event series on Xbox with weekly events ending in the Spring of 2017. During a time of much change in 2015 for the Xbox Division, Battlefield 4 served as game that rallied the community, brought Xbox members closer and helped us move forward with new ideas leading to where we are today. 7. Hey guys, Here is some long awaited info on how and when you can play the Gears 4 beta at Major Nelsons blog: http://majornelson.com/2016/03/15/gears-of-war-4-multiplayer-beta-kicks-off-on-april-18/ Some other Gears 4 info news:
  8. Cant believe its been 7 months in the AJSA Xbox one Community. its been a crazy 7 months, too bad work has me less active in the group but when I am able to play its AMAZING. Thanks everyone for being so friendly these 7 months, On to a year next! and this kinda sounds like a goodbye post weird. ( Its not )
  9. So this one is similar to the one I posted here below, small difference is that we timed our ultimates i.e Zaryas Gravitron Surge,Diva's Self Destruct,Moiras Orbs
  10. Greetings Mechwarriors, If you are looking to join the AJSA MWO unit, simply post your pilot name here, then launch MWO, go to the social tab, hit Add Friend, and type Conan8. You will be added as soon as possible. Keep in mind that, as of the current build, units must pay C-Bill fee for every new member, so do not ask to join unless you plan to be semi-regular. If you are not sure, play solo and join in on unit events until you feel you are ready. We are by no means professional, but what we do need is commitment, so keep that in mind. For any questions, PM me and I will respond ASAP. No guts, no galaxy, Mechwarriors.
  11. Hi guys and gals, it's SpacePope here. I've been wondering, would anyone here be interested if we set up an AJSA Clan within Warframe? Just wanted to gauge everyone's interest. Obviously this will be a massive time sink to get all of the basics set up for the Clan but with enough support, it should definitely be a lot of fun. I'm interested in hearing what you guys have to say. (For those who don't know what Warframe is, it's basically a third person Free-to-Play shoot-em-up with cool arse graphics. If you've never played or heard of Warframe before and you're interested in learning more, go here for more information: https://www.warframe.com/game).
  12. Hi guys. Me and 2 buddies are doing a Kickstarter for a new medieval RTS - Bannermen. Because we are long time viewers of the AJS we decided to add the Angry Army banner to the game. Doesn't it look nice? The Kickstarter is live now and we would really appreciate if you guys want to spread the word. You can check out the kickstarter here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/161482768/bannermen-single-multiplayer-rts-with-dynamic-envi?ref=1wbay6
  13. This is where I will keep the featured streamers blurbs from the AJSA Stream Team streamers showcase, for all of us to look back on and enjoy!
  14. Foxhole is the game we've been waiting for in the AJSA! Been wanting a suitable replacement for Planetside, but been disappointed by the failed wannabes? This game doesn't just fill the gap, it truly has the capacity to go farther. Everything you do has an effect on the outcome of battle, for both good or ill. Not the best at fighting? No worries, this game requires players to build vast amounts of base defenses, as well as run your entire team's economy. The front-line cannot function without the supplies you send them. There is a place for everyone here, plus the game is top-down, similar in camera angle to Diablo, and the game is not overly graphic heavy. Interested in forming a clan ingame? Game is currently only $20 USD, so hop on it and join the AJSA in Foxhole! Post here with questions or if you wish to join in. Game will be officially supported once we have the numbers. If you wish to debate the game's viability, do so on discord. http://store.steampowered.com/app/505460/Foxhole/
  15. Hi Guys, I have been promoted and so can now display the AJSA tag in games etc however, i cant figure out how to put it in front of my website display name. can anyone help me out? Cheers
  16. I play quite a lot of Smite on the PC, and was wondering if there was actually an AJSA clan for it or not. I tried searching, but I don't think i quite found the right ones. If there is no such clan, then would y'all be interested in joining if I made one? Would love to hear back on this. Peace!!
  17. After checking out the new AJSA community Members guide regarding video content and streams,I thought i put a little snipet of my stream schedule/games.For this week up until august 14th,I wont be streaming everyday since I mostly play Dragon Age inquisition as my main RPG game. But when I do stream other games and I stream irregurarly its more flexible and I dont have much recurring viewership to have full set schedule.I usually stream on Saturdays around 6.30 pm est or from 7PM est or any other day either during the week and/or weekend even if that day has an AJSA event and I have the game for that event or not. I usually stream AJSA Xbox One Events for games like Overwatch or any other FPS games or other games genres of games I have and can attend depending on the day/timezone I always recommend a follow cause I stream irreguarly. In any instance I stream over at http://mixer.com/samshepardgaming BTW this is my best play as Sombra so far during the AJSA Overwatch Event while playing Quickplay.
  18. Hi guys. My name is Bryan M. Fornoles aka. Kairi K. I represent the Philippines to be a part of the Angry Army, and I also have a YouTube channel which was still under development at this time. And I'm also make subtitles for the angry reviews which was still not yet released. But rest assured, I will do my best to spread the word here in the Philippines about gaming, movies and everything and make my country a part of the Angry Army!
  19. I was advised by Rune X, who leads the GTA V Events on Xbox, to share some of the gameplay videos, that I make, to here. If you are interested, I'll be leaving a link to my video:
  20. Hail, Mechwarriors! This is the Hall of Valhalla, where fellow mechwarriors showcase their achievements. Whenever you have an excellent match, post a screen shot of the Team Stats page. At this time, you may post as many as you like, within reason, but the match score must be a 400 match score minimum. Extremely odd matches may be posted as well. This is a place to celebrate our achievements! Likes only, do not post comments. No guts, no galaxy.
  21. As one of the first AJSA members in the 40k:EC Closed Alpha, I've been observing the game and making notes specific to our needs. I've made direct contact with the EC community manager, Katie Fleming, and she has asked that I compile all the AJSA feedback, specific to our needs, into one thread so we can focus our thoughts on what we think the game needs for a community like ours. Personal feedback can still be posted on their forums. This thread is for discussing and focusing on Clan/Community focused suggestions. What would we like to see in game in regards to grouping/squad management and overall clan features? What is the bare minimum we would need to operate? Non-alpha participants may post here, but anything still covered by the NDA may not be discussed. My thoughts: 1) Not necessary, but I would really like a hub, similar to a PS2 warpgate, in the primary faction territory, complete with training grounds and clan specific buildings. 2) Some form of clan chat, text and voip, that functions across all forms of the game, even menus. 3) Proximity, Squad, Platoon, and Command voip/text channels. 4) Squad lvl and above gets waypoint/command markers to place on strategic/tactical maps. 5) Fully interactive and detailed strategic/tactical maps. 6)Clan specific tags, logos, and the ability for Clan leaders to upload Community Manager approved Clan music for hubs, rally, attack, defend, retreat, and victory. Your ideas?
