After backlash Apple has allowed the game onto their store about a week after declining it, which is what happened with the other games they decline, further showing their nonsensical game app policies. Legolas_Katarn posted a topic in General DiscussionArticle A lot of games have been getting removed not just from the App store, preventing new people from buying them, but also from purchase histories of customers who have already bought the game, preventing people from downloading games that they paid for again. If it was a game that was only available on the App store it would prevent anyone playing it at all over time. This isn't just from smaller companies but now from 2K, EA, Capcom, Sega, and possibly Telltale.
Platina32 posted a topic in General Discussionhttp://www.reuters.com/article/2014/02/27/us-eu-consumers-apps-idUSBREA1Q0W920140227 So, the European Union wants to talk with Google and Apple about mobile games that advertise themselves as being free games, but in order to achieve anything worthwhile, you have to pay money. This is a good initiative, in my opinion. I don't like seeing mobile games that charge you tens of €'s just to progress a little further, before you hit the next paywall. Or for some stupid costumes (like in that Star Trek game that AngryJoe reviewed). I think the government is the only one that is able to do anything about it and so I am happy that they try to do just that.
