  1. I decided to look into Star Citizen, so I got the starter pack and started flying. Right now there are two areas you can fly. The Arena Commander and the Universe. The Arena Commander is a small instant combat area where you can instantly kill things. The Universe is an example of the open world you can expect at launch. It is a single system you can dock, do NPC missions and PvP combat. If you decide to try SC out put my referral code in and you will get some bonus credits in game. STAR-7CJR-9YGH
  2. Since Mighty No. 9 got delayed (I'm part of the PR), I need something to fill the void until at least February 16th as I will be covering Street Fighter V and Project X Zone 2. There's a reason why I got two laptops for that. Anyway, I figure why not do some covering of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. I'm only doing Arcade Mode of it and it's a side project since after the 16th, I'm going to focus more on the upcoming games. So yeah... I have my work cut out for me. Either way, enjoy.
  3. I noticed, at least in my Friends List, that alot of people actually have this game. I know it is still in Alpha, but it is fully functional and looks great. It is quite similar to Dreadnought, but with many subtle differences. If anyone else is interested, I still have a few copies. If we get enough interest, I'll get us a community channel on TS. http://store.steampowered.com/app/310380/
  4. The arena is the magnificent construction of Bast and I that is only located on the AJSA server that you can find in this forum. The arena is a place of honor where naked men fight with rocks, no banages or medkits or food only balls of steel and their rock. It is where any disputes are handled whether its because you argued in chat or maybe you got murdered by someone from behind because they are cowards who knows but no matter what that dispute can be handled in the arena. In the future im going to add things like bow fights or hatchet and pickaxe fights and maybe ill even allow people to wear some cloth as they fight to the death but for now it is simply a place for men to fight rock to rock. Eventually i will set up tournaments and betting systems and ill try my best to keep track of all victorys and defeats in the arena so that all may know who the champion of the arena is. I hope to see you there rock in hand to battle and make a reputation for yourself or even just to watch as real men fight with their rocks.
  5. I have been playing Rust and i recently built an arena along with the help of Bast. This video is something that has come out of that and there is only more to come enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-BWULUex0o
  6. I had a friend recently tell me to join them in a game of SMITE online. My response was, "What the hell is SMITE?" I thought it was just another Facebook game, but what I found was something much more fun. As the rise of Multiplayer Online Battle Arena games continue to grow in popularity another has reached the ranks. What makes it different? Well I have been loving it and I will explain why. Now what is SMITE exactly? Simply put it is a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena similar to DOTA (Defense of the Ancients) and LOL (League of Legends). In this game you don't play as made up characters of fantastical realms, but you play as major gods of various mythologies. These include the Greek Olympians like Zues, Poseidon, and Hades; the Roman Parthenon like Vulcan, Mercury, and Bacchus; the Egyptian Gods like Ra, Anubis, and Bastet; the Norse Asgardians like Odin, Loki, and Thor; the Mayan Gods like Ah Muzen Cab, Hun Batz, and Xbalanque; the Hindu Deities like Kali, Agni, and Bakasura; and the Chinese Immortals like Sun Wukong, Guan Yu, and He Bo. Another major change is that this game is played from a third person perspective. Thus the controls are different than your average MOBA. You move around with the W,S,A, and D keys and attack with the mouse. I like the control scheme...but I know others may not be fans. Another little difference that I noticed with this game (although I may have missed it with other MOBA) is the incorporation of twitch tv with the game. What this does is you can stream live game sessions while you play if you wish. Granted I am still unfamiliar with twitch tv so I don't know a lot about it. The SMITE site will stream random sessions if you agree to let them do it. You may enjoy it or not. I honestly don't care either way right now. What are the problems? Well...the control scheme. As much as I love it I am annoyed with using the 1-4 keys to use abilities. Thus it can be a bit hard to aim abilities properly. I think you can change it so it is a minor complaint. The other complaint I have is the usual I have with games like DOTA and Infinite Crisis. I hate not having the full roster unlocked. 5 characters are unlocked immediately when you make an account (the ones unlocked depends on when you do it so it is slightly random) and 5 others are on random rotations. You can unlock more gods and skins either through micro transactions or from points earned in the game. Luckily practice mode will allow you practice with any character but playing online has most of the roster locked. Final Thoughts: I actually really enjoy this game. Weird controls aside I have always wanted to play a game where various deities go out and try to beat each other senseless (or as I call it a God War). Personally I would love to see Lovecraft Elder Gods added to this game or have Angels and Demons from Jeudeo-Christian belief added as well (granted that may cause some outrage, but I would like it) but I digress. It isn't perfect but I recommend a go if you are curious. You will either have a lot of fun or really hate it. If you like DOTA, League of Legends, or Infinite Crisis...you may be mixed about this game. If you like the idea of playing as Sobek running straight at Tyr for a death blow followed by Isis and Fenrir, then you may like this (lol). I personally recommend at least one go if nothing else. You can find me on the fields of battle as Maleficent5. I AM MALEFICENT5 AND THIS GAME HAS BEEN JUDGED! Link to game: http://www.hirezstudios.com/smitegame/home
  7. Hello everyone, I've been watching Joe for some time now, I don't really remember since when, and even though he doesn't play Hearthstone, a lot of the Polaris partners do and they got me to like the game. I got a beta key maybe one month ago and I love doing arenas, so much so that I started my own youtube channel dedicated to arena drafts and games using the experience I've gotten thus far with it. If you are, like many others, in line to get a beta key (it really sucks having to wait so long!) come by and watch the 3 videos I have at the moment and tell me what you think! I intend to keep making them and I've no illusions, I know they're bad, the quality was reeeally bad but I've no figured out how to compress the videos so at least next ones will have a much higher fidelity. I want to make them more entertaining and I'm trying to improve it. I'm a somewhat shy person so shouting and making a big fuzz like Joe doesn't feel natural to me, but hey, no one ever starts with perfection. So come by and tell me what you think, I'm always available for discussions and if I somehow get a beta key, I'll be more than glad to give it away! http://www.youtube.com/user/Hecatombish/videos
