  3. Hey guys. I am not sure if any of you will be interested but an audio drama I was on just got published. I felt like sharing it with you guys and hope you enjoy it. The play is called Another Time. It was written by Manic Expression creator James Daniel Walsh. It stars myself as Walker and Matti Mali as General Juho Kokkola. I don't want to say more as it isn't long and I don't want to spoil anything. If you are curious about Manic Expressions at all (especially if you an aspiring internet critic/blogger) then follow this link: http://www.manic-expression.com/ . Without further adieu, here is Another Time. Enjoy.
  4. I did it! After sooo many deaths I finally did it! I am not very far in the game but the Capra Demon has definatly been the second most difficult so far, after the Gargoyles.
  5. So I have been seeing a number of streams with death counters and I have spent the past four days trying to figure out how they made them or where they downloaded the mod for twitch/xsplit. Anyone have any clue how I might go about this?

  9. I am trying to finish Dark Souls 1 before I buy Dark Souls 2. This is just a collection of clips which represents my progress in this game. I am actually much further ahead in the game since I made this video but I still think it is really funny and it helped me learn what kind of mistakes I was making.
  10. Ever since I first played Megaman, since I was fascinated by Protoman(Blues), ever since I first saw the ending of Megaman X, ever since I first stared wide-eyed with a girly crush on Zero and giggled to myself, to the ending that was thought provoking.. I've always loved the Megaman games. When I registered first on youtube, one of the first videos I ever uploaded was the ending to Megaman Zero 4. In fact, I uploaded this video 7 years ago, 1 month 2 days ago (12th November. The ending is absolutely fantastic. It's melancholic, it raises questions and frankly if you've played these games as long as I have, emotional. I was perhaps more emotional as to what happens in MMZ2 though. I was very very glad to see that ending and just thinking "Finally, they don't have to fight anymore." But people, just refuse to accept that they're dead. I'm getting so much comments on that video that it's not even funny anymore. It's always the same comments as well "That shadow over there! He is alive!", even when you try to tell them "It's a goddamn mountain!!", they won't listen. I even read another comment which is the cause of this message of a person who said "But what if X didn't die, then he saved Zero and they're still alive and can make another Megaman Zero 5!" and it just pisses me the f- off instantly. Not to mention it also brings to thought if that's why Capcom without Inafune's permission released Megaman X6, because some people were crying for one. I dunno about that though but he had intended the X series to end on X5 or X4 and then go into MMZ timeline with X being the villain instead of Copy-X. Here is my question. Why, OH WHY, do people have such a problem with the protagonists of a game, dying?
  11. Darksiders II was one of my favorite games last generation. I loved the combat, the puzzles, the universe. Everything about it appealed to me. However, after THQ's assets were broken up and sold, the Darksiders got sold to Nordic Games. As of right now they haven't really said anything definitive on Darksiders III. Do you guys think Darksiders III is in the works? Do you want it to be in the works? If so, what would you like to see in the next installment in the franchise?
  12. Reply on the repost plz. Here is link http://angryjoeshow.com/ajsa/topic/6034-death-in-animegaming-who-would-you-save-repost/ SPOILERS: If you have not watched or played the following animes or games, and are planning to in the near future. IGNORE their respective section or (if you wanna be really safe) don't read this post. Final Fantasy 7 One Piece Attack on Titan Naruto Shippuden Bleach Death Note A death of a character, especially in anime, can establish so many different scenarios and change so many aspects of a story. Characters ideals, their values, their belief in both the world and themselves can be rocked in an instant. For us the viewer, we can only sit back and watch as the story plays out, powerless to do anything but hope it all works out in the end, and contemplating just how much you invested into this story. Certain death's that I watched as a gamer and a fan of anime, rocked my soul, and brought me to tears. Though I would be happy to discuss the significance and analyze the themes these deaths provoke lets just get right to the real question. WHO WOULD YOU SAVE? Name an anime or game (or even a book if you like), and Name the character you would save and a brief reason why. (One is enough, I'm just gonna give you a list) (if you got time, a top 5 would be cool ) Final Fantasy 7 Aeris (Aerith) : First death I had to deal with I think in general when it comes to life. Watching my uncle play this game I couldn't wrap my head around the idea of her being "gone forever". To my knowledge, all Cloud and the others had to do was gather the 7 dragon balls and wish her back... what about Mega Phoenix down.... shes gone.... I'm currently replaying the game since I didn't bond with the characters 120% when my uncle played. BUT REST ASSURED I WAS F*CKING INVESTED AND I WAS SAD. Attack on Titan Eren's Mother: Now I am fully aware that without Eren's mother's death, there does not exist tension, or driving force for Eren to join the recon corps. I GET IT, I GET IT. But..... when she's thanking that guy who saves Eren and Mikasa... and she's telling them to live... she ... she says ... while literally trying to stop herself..... she says......... "Don't leave me".....BROKE MY HEART. WHYYYYYYYYYY??? Knowing that she, in her final moments, had made the request to save her children without hesitation and yet was still afraid to die..... still wanted to be saved.. And that hurt me... that hurt me deep Bleach (tie) Coyote Starrk and Ichimaru Gin: Now most bleach fans probably want to save Ulquiorra. I want to save starrk (and literally as I was writing this I realized Gin died, but my mind refused to acknowledge it at first) and GIn. I assume if you're reading this you've finished bleach so you know Starrk's backstory. For me when Lilynette died (or Starrk could no longer hear or feel her). I was a bit torn up for him. I really like his character and even though he was an enemy, he clearly did not want to fight, (even though he was ranked the strongest espada and is a complete bad ass!). Now I technically didn't see him die, so here is holding out hope he's still alive....though when he lost lily.... the feels I think Gin is self-explanatory, but if you don't know, episodes b4 Gin's death we FINALLY get to see: him in real combat with his Zanpakuto, and his true reasons for joining the Soul Society/Aizen. Not only is he a badass, but he had a heart. Gin's persona is great and everytime he talks to Aizen or comments on just about anything its funny or amusing. And if that damn Hougoku wasn't ridiculous and complicated, GIN WOULD'VE KILLED AIZEN AND HE' BE THE HERO, AND... AND....... sigh.... Death Note L : This one is just a personal want. I was shell-shocked when he died and, for the next 2 to 3 episodes, I was STILL alive and would come back. To no avail. L's character was so cool and intriguing that I was disappointed to see him "lose". A necessary evil to making a DAMN GOOD anime. Naruto Shippuden Itachi Uchiha : Obvious choice. Jiraiya was close, Azuma was up there since I'm a huge fan of Shikamaru, but when it comes down to it, Itachi is one of those characters that carry an anime. He isn't the only one in this case, since there are SOOOO MANY QUALITY characters in Naruto, but he is definitely at the forefront. The story behind Itachi's death is so tragic. The moment of his death left me speechless and confused, and I rewatched it again and again to be sure I saw what I saw. YEA YEA he's reanimated right now so it takes away from the feeling of longing to see the character again, but even as a reanimated ninja, he's proving he's one of the best badass characters the Naruto universe had to offer, One Piece Portgas D. Ace: I'm not ashamed to say this. I was invested... I WAS IN TEARS. I CAME CLOSE TO BALLING MY EYE OUT WHEN IT HAPPENDED. No. NOOO! NOT ACE! WHAT? AFTER EVERYTHING WE'VE DONE! I have watched alot (almost too much but I'm not there yet) of anime in my life, but no anime has actually made me cry the way ace's death made me cry. Luffy's reaction.... everything. AND THEN THEY SHOW YOU LUFFY AND ACE"S CHILDHOOD RIGHT AFTER!!???!?!?!? ......... Needless to say that was a VERY tough arc to get through, I still can't watch or listen to the Opening song of that arc without tearing up.... :( ACE!!!!!!!!!!!! _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ That's my list, if I had to save just one it'd be .... Ace soo.... WHO WOULD YOU SAVE? Name an anime or game (or even a book if you like), and name the character you would save and a brief reason why.
