  7. hello, I am skorge and I am answering to some of your questions on the fallout series, and if it is worth the money you pay for it. I would say it is, in fact great. "but skorge, why the hell is it so good?". well I can give you my reasoning. ok, I have watched a friend play fallout 4 and was more than impressed. not only that but played fallout 3 and found it's true quality and why it's such a great game. you see the story is very linear and may make some of you hard core story lovers angry. but it makes up for character creation and a story that can branch off not only from choices made, to just having a different account. the game allows you to pick any side you like, you can be a criminal, you can be a hero, or hell even choose to be neutral. other thing I have to say is the way you can change from good to evil in an instant. I was "very good" one day and became nearly instantaneously after nuking a town (yes you can nuke towns!!!) became "very bad". I want to finish out my argument by stating one flaw in the game. the lack of an appropriate choice in difficulty makes you blind to how hard the game is. so if you want to know more about buying and just more about the series see these links.... https://www.amazon.com/Fallout-3-Game-Year/dp/B001REZLY8/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1492639991&sr=1-1&keywords=fallout%2B3&th=1 and the jewel of all reviews, ANGRY JOE!!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aorKjw71ckQ thank you....SKORGEZAGREAT
  8. Hello, i know it's a weird question but i didn't really like the depressing atmosphere of 3 and New Vegas looks too old for me, after seeing some videos and AJ's review apparently F4's atmosphere is much more alive and bright and it's also getting official mod support on steam, should i get it or just stick with Skyrim? Thank you for the response comrades!
  9. Is anyone else getting rather dissapointed with the roleplaying aspects of Fallout 4? I'm finding it harder and harder to immerse myself in the game as more and more often I feel like I don't have a lot of options. Playing a male character has really brought this to my attention with how flat the male voice actor sounds. I don't mind having a bit more direction in my story (I do love Mass Effect, after all) but I've gotten used to huge amounts of roleplaying freedom from Bethesda games. Sure, every now and then I see options to extort caps from people and shit like that, but I've never really seen any options to be outright evil on any of my characters. And from what I've heard from people who've gotten into the Institute storyline, there's still not really a lot of downright evil shit. The new dialogue system sucks. Like, sucks balls. No matter what you choose it usually ends up with the same outcome, the only thing that might be different is if whatever person you're traveling with has an issue with how you phrased it. I'm already missing the wide-open freedom of Skyrim, of New Vegas, and of Fallout 3. I could do whatever I wanted, be whatever I wanted to be. But in Fallout 4, there's not nearly as much freedom. In Skyrim, I could run off after Helgen and not look back. Sure, I can do that in Fallout 4 after I leave the Vault, but I'm finding there's not nearly as much to do. The world just isn't grabbing me like Skyrim or New Vegas did, because it's very obviously trying to force me into a role here. What if I don't like that role? Well, too bad, you won't have any interesting quests to do. I still love the game, the gameplay is fantastic, a lot of the characters are great and most of the dialogue is well voiced. Am I alone here, or is anyone else in the AJSA feeling the roleplay blues?
  10. I tried, okay. I tried to like Fallout. I seriously tried to like this damn franchise. I played Fallout 3, New Vegas, and hell, I bought Fallout 4 day one (It was either this or Battlefront, and that for sure as hell wasn't happening). I. F**king. Tried. But I can't do it. I just can't. I don't know with this franchise anymore. I just can't enjoy Fallout and I seriously don't know what it is. It has nothing to do with it being an RPG or its post-apocalyptic setting or anything. I seriously don't know what it is. I absolutely hated Fallout 3 and New Vegas when I first played them. Now my reasons for that was because of the shitty gunplay they had (which has not aged well might I add) and the downright ugliness of the games. Everything was an ugly greenish-brown in Fallout 3. Wasn't any better in New Vegas, which everything was orange, only uglier. I seriously thought that those were the main reasons for me not liking those games. But then Fallout 4 happens and yet with the much improved gunplay and art style, I still hated it. This just saddens me. I want to like this franchise, I really do, but it just can't happen. I didn't even make it past lvl. 20 yet. It came to point were I was forcing myself to continue because I payed $60 for this game. But I just can't keep trying anymore. For all you guys who are loving Fallout, great. I'm happy you are loving this series and the recent one that came out. But me? I just can't do it anymore. Have you guys ever felt the same way with any other popular game or franchise out there?
  11. So what are your people amazing, or amazeballs, none story encounters. That would exclude the Deathclaw encounter at the beginning in Concord. To begin this out here are 2 that I had. 1. I was walking into the outskirt of a city when I came across a trading caravan, who was fighting a group of Synths... Who was also fighting a group of Super Mutants, which included a suicider. So of course I join the fight, I cant just stay out of it. Well... Suddenly a Deathclaw charged into the mix... Yeah, I lost my head at that point, literally. And that caravn was leaving the whole time. 2. I came across this tower, and thank God aswell because when I went to the top I were attacked by a group of raiders, which included a Legendary Raider. Well It thats not the amazeballs part. Because out of nowhere a Deathclaw AND a Alpha Deathclaw charged the raiders, yes Im not joking, I even took a screenshot. Luckely I was on the top of the tower with a rather good sniper rifle and over 100 bullets. Unlucky me, while the raider bits remained both the Deathclaws just vanished after I killed them THANKS GAME
  12. Fallout 4 is coming soon. What does everyone expect?
  13. The new Fallout 4 trailer is awesome and shows a lot so lets discuss it First off here's the trailer if you haven't seen it (I have know idea if this is in game or not but I hope so) these per-war scenes are cool but what is that big green thing is behind the blue car? This ship with rockets is awesome! Super mutants!? I wonder if they will be like 3s mutants of NVs mutants If you haven't noticed, its very colorful, also new Protectron. There are a lot of vertibirds in this trailer but they don't seem to have and faction symbol on them The feral ghouls seem to move more natural and a bit zombie like Zeppelin!!! Power armor seems to have shorter shoulder pads also I cant make out any faction symbol this seen is really cool but what is that cylinder thing, maybe a lazer rifle attachment? this end scene is a big deal because, the "lone wanderer" speaks to the dog, dose that mean your character will talk in the game (I'm on the fence about that) and the gun he is holding looks like a homemade lazer rifle. thats all I got from this trailer, what do you think?
  14. It's happening! It's really happening! (not confirmed or anything. discuss)
  15. I've just been convinced to play Fallout, since it has similarities to Skyrim. However, I'm unsure which one to try. I thought I should just play the newest, but I know all too well that newer doesn't necessarily mean better. I really want to like this game, so which one would you suggest I play? <3
  16. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/inxile/wasteland-2/posts/990570 Just got my key, I'll probably be playing by this afternoon w00t and all that good stuff!

What would be of Fallout without its Vault Propaganda?
  24. Consider me adding Bethesda to my developer/publisher shitlist for their traitorous move if this happens. The PC Fallout modding community will be dead because of this if it occurs and a lot of lost customers.
  25. I'm a huge fallout fan and am immensly excited for the new release. What do you guys think is going to come back for it though? Is it going to be more like New Vegas or 3? Personally, I think that the survival mechanic and hardcore mode are coming back from New Vegas and the story and atmosphere are going to be more like 3.
