  7. This is the first in a five episode anime that are coming out before the main release of Final Fantasy XV on PS4 and XBox One in November, I'll post the other episodes as they come out. A Blu-Ray disc is also being released with the (sold out) Collectors Edition of the game, I would a feel a bit sorry for anyone who spent £190 on that thing only to find out that anyone can watch for free but NAH! Feel free to comment and critique but lets keep this about the Anime (Here's the current thread for the game) and keep spoilers to a minimum.

I had to look at it because every article written in that style is always going to lie, misinterpret, ignore the human element of live coverage, etc and I always want to see how long it would take the author to do one of those things. He couldn't even make it through the first sentence without lying or saying something that would obviously be shown as wrong if he had looked into it, not that the kind of people creating conent like that care about factual reporting, pandering to outrage culture is easier, which is an odd way of thinking for people complaining about the competence of the press. In the statement he also mentioned the need to fix bugs and multiplayer issues, and said that they would now be giving the transgender character an even larger role in the game with a future update, which should make the very few people who actually thought that the inclusion was a token one happy while upsetting the people who were clearly pretending that was the reason they were upset (like below) or the ones who were blatantly just against having transgender characters in games. Their announcement has upset science fiction writer Vox Day, a white supremacist and someone who talks about why giving women the right to vote was a mistake, so, good for Beamdog. Multiple Bioware employees (not including the one who just left Bioware to work for Beamdog) and the director and communication manager for D&D (as well as the creator of the setting Ed Greenwood) have also defended Beamdog, so the people saying that Bioware would never have written something like this and who don't know anything about D&D and don't think transgender characters should be in the setting, probably wrong. Even Cliff Bleszinski chimed in with the obvious. Continuing from what she wrote on the subject last week, Katherine Cross wrote, Opinion: So you want to write a trans character. Why Dark Souls 3 should have an easy mode and the problem with 'playing to win' I don't think the, make it easier, argument is thought all the way through sometimes, not that wanting an easier difficulty is an inherently bad idea or sentiment (the raging gatekeeping fanboys in the comment section might disagree). Doing something like putting in an invincibility mode in the new Star Fox is easy and doesn't alter the actual gameplay, having a story mode setting to not have to worry about combat in something like Pillars of Eternity/Baldurs Gate/Dragon Age makes sense (and Pillars and the new BG expansion do), but making Dark Souls easy would involve looking into what makes it hard for individual people, would it be the bosses, the regular enemies, showing you boss patterns so you don't have to die multiple times and run back to figure them out, falling or being knocked off of cliffs, traps, not playing a character type that seems to be working well for them, etc. An easy Dark Souls mode would likely involve rebuilding areas of the map or repositioning enemies in ways that people who only wanted an easier time in one particular area wouldn't have wanted and could be a much more difficult and time consuming undertaking than adding an easy mode to most games. It's not a bad idea but it's not as simple as just making the enemy do less damage like it is in many games. If the developer believed they had a good way of doing it I'd be all for it. Gamers Flood Baldur’s Gate Expansion with Negative Reviews After It Introduces a Transgender Character The same people and reactionary websites will complain about censoring a developer's vision due to them having their game localized, complain about censoring a developers vision with Overwatch because the developer agreed with feedback, and when a developer puts in exactly what they want, with no feedback, then they should never have been allowed to work on a game because what they wanted wasn't what angry reactionaries wanted. There have been a lot of reviews by people who have never played the game given their time indicator or likely ones who have never even played a Baldur's Gate game based on some complaints, people using out of context examples of writing that make perfect sense in context, people who don't know that Beamdog was founded by one of the founders of Bioware and their former lead programmer saying they have no experience with these kind of games, people who don't know how D&D spells work (I never understood why so many people like to pretend that they know D&D rules), and obviously people that don't want transgender or gay people in their games (possibly finishing it with a line about bugs so they don't sound too hateful). Because this isn't something many larger sites will review these assholes will make finding reliable information about the game more difficult as reviews and google searches are now filled with spam, youtubers making hot take videos where they go out of the way to show that they don't know what they are talking about (and some admit they haven't played the game), and sites dedicated to catering to toxic demographics. Before the reactionaries arrived there were complaints of a lot of bugs, some that required the game to be reset, mod incompatibility, the usual poor path finding common for the engine, and the multiplayer not working, as well as the more mixed reception to UI changes (a lot are really nice and helpful changes but the game just doesn't look right). If you are interested in the game here are reviews by people who actually played it and hopefully more detailed in depth reviews will follow soon, positive or negative, to balance out the spam. It might be an amusing forum game to find one NPC in random games, screenshot a line of dialogue, and then review the game as a 0 or a 10 based on whatever insane reaction you can create from it. 13. Dear Angry Joe: Please help the Gamers Community for what Square Enix is doing to their Final Fantasy. They are now adding Always-Online DRM to punish their Legal Consumers and encouraging Piracy! We need your help!! They might continue doing this for their Final Fantasy XV if it ever comes to PC and Final Fantasy VII Remake. http://steamcommunity.com/app/345350/discussions/0/487876568228905295/
  14. Hello guys, i have a question, what is in your opinion the best Final Fantasy game for beginners ? I just want to know it ,because i never played a Final Fantasy game ever and it looks very interesting for me. And i allready heard that Final Fantasy 7 should be the best ,but what do you think ?
  15. Damn, I just remembered that both Final Fantasy Type-0 and Bloodborne are releasing this month. FF Type-0 (March 17) Bloodborne (March 24) And I only have enough money to get one of them... I seriously can't decide. T_T - I want to get Final Fantasy Type-0 because I've been a fan of the series since FFVI, and I really, REALLY want to get my hands on that Final Fantasy XV demo. - I want to get Bloodborne because it is the most interesting Sony IP I've seen and I always want to be introduced to From Software's style of gameplay since I've never got to play Dark Souls yet. So... what do you guys think, 'cause I am terrible at making decisions.
  16. THE YEAR IS 842, THE BEGINNING OF THE END. In an act of unprovoked aggression, the Militesi Empire invaded the Dominion of Rubrum. Imperial dreadnoughts swarmed the skies, assailing the unsuspecting countryside under the banner of the White Tiger. From amidst the flames of the besieged dominion, the Vermillion Bird rose in defiance, her crystal granting magic and might eidolons that her disciples might cast out the technologically advanced aggressors. Thrust into the tumult of war, the fate of the world and its four crystals now rests on the shoulders of fourteen brave, young warriors. What do you guys think, excited for more Final Fantasy games? Happy we are finally get release of Type-0 in western markets? You just want Final Fantasy 15? Love to hear what you guys gotta to say.
  17. Hello, How are all of you doing today? I hope everything has been well in the gaming community. I just wanted to introduce myself and some various things I love. Games obviously are something I love though I have many fandoms in tv shows as well. (particularly enjoying Supernatural right now) I do enjoy Anime and help put on anime conventions across the Midwest. I love RPG's mostly and love that games seem to be heading in the direction with light RPG aspect. I cant wait to play Assassins Creed Unity(ps4) and Borderlands the pre sequel(steam) here soon. I am currently playing Destiny (PS4) and Diablo 3 : Reaper of Souls (PC). I love old rpgs and the classic SNES games. Breath of Fire and Grandia are among my favorite of all time. Feel free to write me and discuss anything you want.
  18. So because I have always been a diehard Final Fantasy fan, I bought Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Returns. I guess the question I have is does anyone give 2 s**ts about this game? I bought it and have played it for a while and to be honest, its (reluctantly) ok… The fighting system is better than the previous FF13 titles (I’m glad there is no auto fight option). I personally think the story is ridiculously simplistic. I am only a few hours in an am 99.999% sure I know how the game is going to play out and end already. There is a “timing” mechanic in this game (as in you have a certain amount of time to finish the story) and I’m not sure how I feel about that. I wanted this game to blow me away but it didn’t. All I can say about it is that it isn’t the worst FF game I have ever played. Any thoughts or comments?
  19. Hey all, so im pretty new to the compter gaming sene. and lately iv been playing final fantasy 8 on steam, which as someone who was only a child when the game came out on playstation I think its a great adaptation to steam. a I was thinking about getting ff7 as well but i was wanting some feedback first because the reviews on steam are kind of mixee also as well what are some throwbacks that you guys love playing even today?

  21. With the upcoming release of the ps4 version of Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn, me thinks the support poll for this game should go for a round 2. being the game supports cross platform so the organizing thing with console people really wouldnt be an issue here. with the ps4 version comming up next week, its gonna bring alot more support for this to the table. and i think its worth giving another look and more consideration Just wanted to make one more point here: on the ps4 we have no Officially supported games. at least with the ps4 release of this, ps4, ps3 and pc players can all play under the same roof. As of issue of organizers etc, myself and stick a really committed to this game, I volunteer as an organizer etc. If that helps.
  22. Out of February 14nth So, anyone give a shit?
  23. Just got ff XVI so wondering if any one has any tips for the game for me and any one else just starting
  24. hello, i am new to the AJSA community so i thought i would like to start off with a topic very close to me; the final fantasy series. i wanted the opinions of other gamers on which is their favourite, which are the most overrated/underrated, and which ones should be brought to release in glorious HD on either the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox one. i really want to get nostalgic again, and i believe it would be nice for some of the earlier ones to have a bit of a touch-up here or there. anyway, leave your opinions, as i enjoy hearing opinions on this great series. Thanks also please remember that you are fully entitled to your opinion, if you disagree with a point made then you can say so, but do it in a nice manner, and accept that everyone will have different experiences)
