  5. Hello everyone! So Rockstar has been making alot of updates/free dlcs for the game GTA V, but almost all of them are like this. (I know some updates are more in depth such as the heist update but bear with me here!) Add some cars/motorcyclesAdd some clothesRemove fun glitchesAdd a weaponI do like these kinds of updates but come on Rockstar. We want more! So I have made a list of a few things I would really like to have in GTA V. Feel free to add some of your own ideas as well! And then we might send Rockstar the link to this thread. Even though they will probably ignore this thread and keep adding cars, clothes and a single gun. Anyways, moving on. SkateboardsImagine skating around Los Santos through the various skate parks that have been added and maybe doing a grind on that railing, maybe doing a kickflip, etc. That'd be cool right? I think so too. Emergency vehiclesYeah I know I listed adding cars was a slightly annoying recurring thing in updates but hear me out! You know all those glitches put on youtube about getting Police vehicles as personal vehicles? Well, my idea is to add a website that auctions/sells emergency vehicles. Whether this site should be legit can be discussed. Maybe you buy from an international gang that steals cars (including emergency vehicles) and they deliver it to a certain location (maybe in the desert?) where you get it. I dunno though. Moar heists!!!!Well, personally I don't think that the current heists are so entertaining. I'd like something like the union depository, in the sp you got millions of dollars for it but here we might set a level limit to maybe 80 for it so it's only for the endgame players. And maybe you can only do the heist once (if you got better ideas for it feel free to leave a comment ) but I'm not so sure about that one. So if you got more ideas for a new update feel free to leave a comment describing it! Hopefully Rockstar will see this.
  6. With the GTA Online Heist update just around the corner, it appears that some information has surfaced regarding the new update; new trophies! I know that some (or even a lot of you) are not interested in trophies, but it does give you an idea on some of the new features in the game.........There are 4 Hidden trophies and 5 Visible, so here are the list! Shot Caller (Bronze) - GTA Online: Invest your hard earned cash to set up a Heist. Four Way (Bronze) - GTA Online: As Heist Leader set the Finale cut as 25% across all players. Live a Little (Silver) - GTA Online: Spend a total of $8,000,000 purchasing vehicles included as part of The Heists Update. Can't Touch This (Silver) - GTA Online: Complete a Heist Finale without taking any damage. Mastermind (Gold) - GTA Online: Earn 25 platinum medals across Heist Setups and Finales. So are you (still) anticipating this long awaited update to GTA Online, or has it been that long, that you simply don't care enough/anymore? Do these trophies spark an interest? Share with us your thoughts on the GTA Online Heist update (scheduled for 3/10).
  7. Some new information, regarding the Online Heist update for GTA Online have been detailed, here are some of the new things that are being added to the Online Free-Roam - Daily objectives offer players a series of challenges they can complete during jobs or free roam for in-game cash. Three objectives will be offered every day, and the potential rewards are substantial - Rockstar says stacking challenges over the course of more than a day can net you as much as $500,000. Free roam is being bolstered with new activities involving many of the single-player game's characters. Lester, for instance, will sometimes contact players and request that they distract the police (keeping them away from Lester's criminal colleagues). Other new activities include Lamar asking players to destroy vehicles, or Trevor and Ron asking for help in destroying rival planes in the air. Rockstar have also provided details on 3 new PvP modes - Come Out To Play: A team of three Runners just trying to make it home, and a team of Hunters are out for blood. Runners are well-armed but limited to movement by foot, while the opposition wield free-aim shotguns and ride motorbikes or ATVs. Hunters must stay on their bikes and have access to unlimited lives, while the Runners have just one life but all their weapons available to pick off the Hunters at will. Siege Mentality: Up to four players stand their ground, outnumbered but not outgunned as they fight to survive against up to 6 determined attackers in a location defense mode, GTA style. Attackers have unlimited lives but fight only with sawn-off shotguns. Defenders have full use of all their weapons. Hasta La Vista: The chase is on as Truckers in big rig cabs hunt down a team of Cyclists. The Cyclists' goal is simple: reach the final checkpoint without getting crushed under the wheels of the pursuing trucks. Without traditional weapons the Truckers must rely solely on their vehicles to crush the Cyclists. Meanwhile, the Cyclists must harness the maneuverability and acceleration of their bikes to evade the trucks, while keeping an eye over their shoulder. If one of the Cyclists reaches the checkpoint, the Cyclists win. If all Cyclists are terminated, the Truckers prevail. And finally, along with all of this is a new email system that will allow you to message any GTA Online friend (regardless of whether they're in a game session with you) and new awards that grant things like exclusive clothing and car mods. The GTA Online Heist Update is scheduled for release on March 10th (whether you want to believe it or not!) 8. Is anyone getting GTA 5 on Xbox one if so is there gonna be a crew?
  9. The only heists in GTA Online are the general store heists, that when robbed, only shell out $1000 to $5000. What are some thoughts on what bank heists are going to be like in GTA Online, for example, the amount of cash you receive when finished, the amount of RP you receive when finished, the layout of the bank(s), the structure of the heist, how many people can participate in each bank heist (i.e. 2-4 players or 1-6 players), etc.?
  10. With rumors going around about a gta game with all the cities included being made or considered, which GTA game has the best map in your opinion? For me, it's gotta be a tie between San Andreas for it's massive size and distinct cities and GTA 3's Liberty City for it's charm. But it's all about your opinion.
  11. Yes, I know that literally everyone has done a review of the game. Well, this is the only game I have that came out this year, so... I'd like to point out that this is my first gta game I've played, so I hope I'm a bit more non-biased one way or the other. I'll cover story/setting, gameplay, and multi-player. Story/Setting: Gta V takes place in beautiful Los Santos, a city based on real life Los Angeles ( Thought I should mention that Los Santos means the saints and Los Angeles means the angels in Spanish) Los Santos has a beautiful downtown, along side Vinewood and the Vinewood Hills ( sound familiar ), with a dirty hoodlike urban part of the city. It has a little desert area up in the north, called Blaine County and a forested mountainous region by that. The three stars of the game are Michael, Franklin, and Trevor. Michael is a retired bank robber living with his family in the Hills, under the protective services. Franklin is a gang-banger from the hood who meets Michael after a job he does, sparking a friendship. Trevor is a crazy, meth making, psychopathic who lives in Blaine County. Trevor was Michael's partner before a bank robbery in North Yanktown went bad, making Trevor think Michael died. As it turns out, he lived ( through was I won't spoil it for you ) and lives under a new name, Michael De Santa. After Franklin and Trevor meet, and Franklin helps Michael out with a mission, he take Franklin under his wing. I won't spoil the game for you, so I'll just say after Trevor finds out that Michael's alive, he goes out to look for him, and chaos raves. Out of the three, Michael felt like the more interesting on to play. Franklin just felt like a rags to riches story about a gang-banger getting out of the hood, and Trevor just felt like a insane person plan and simple. Michael's story actually had layers to it. We meet his family and played through the family troubles that occurred after he got back into the game. I don't even think they said Franklin's and Trevor's last names. Gameplay: Gta V is a third-person action-adventure game. the combat mostly uses guns, and driving is, obliviously, a big part of the game. The shooting felt good, and there was an okay amount of variation in guns. I wish there was a bigger selection of guns, though. Guns can be modified with flashlights, silencers, and the other stuff you'd come to expect. I wish there was more skins for the guns, as well. You can also use c4, grenades, knives, and stuff like that. I really liked the driving in the game, as they apparently changed the buttons ( like I said I haven't played any other gta game ) to make it feel more like other driving games. The mechanics work well, but sometimes the cars seem to glide across the street like I lost control. The enemies arn't that hard, but they uses cover effectively, so no real complaints. One thing that annoyed me was the cops, they are to aggressive and they continue to search for you for a long amount of time. And as I think there is no difficultty, correct me if I'm wrong, the game shouldn't be to difficult to finnish. It is a long game, though, clocking in like 12 or 13 hours, I believe. There is a large amount of side missions and mini-games to play, like biking races, tennis, even yoga. Each mission is colored a different color for the different characters to do, so you can't do the whole game as one character. I really enjoyed the missions that had you switching from character to character. There is a small wheel in the bottom of the screen that allows you to switch at any time, But not if you are in a character specific mission. You can invest in stocks, browse the ( fake ) internet on your phone, buy cars, and do other things. There is somewhat destructible environments, but it isn't that noticeable, besides the signs and stuff while driving, and the cars themselves. Multi-player: The multi-player launched about three weeks after GTA V came out. For the first few days, the servers could barely hold any games, making problems for players, including myself. I still get kick from matches for no reason, so I barely play GTA Online. But through the internet, I learned you can start squads or whatever there called, buy cars, houses, clothes, rob banks, etc. On thing that annoyed me was that if you randomly jacked a car, cops would know it's stolen untill yon repaint it or whatever, I still don't know. Final Thoughts and Score: GTA V is a great game that I think you all should play. It is fun to play, funny at many parts, and lets be honest here, you probably get crap form your gamer friends if you don't have it. While I don't like online, many people enjoy it, so check it out. Now, do I think it should have gotten VGX's game of the year, no. I mean, I don't follow them closely, so I don't care what they think, but whatever. My final score is 9/10. Please comment, I love feedback
