  1. To day (the 4th of July) marks the day we (America) successfully told the British to screw off, Defeated the Moon nazis, purged the world of the evil Communists and won the Olympics Happy blow stuff up day and for the rest of the world... hope you have a good Friday
  2. Ladies and Gentlemen! Boys and Girls! A mighty spark of logic brought me to an interesting conclusion! According to my observation, there is no gaming joke thread here! Maybe there was one but now it is lost in the depths of this behemoth of a forum! Unleash your creativity! Unleash your sense of humor! Share the jokes you heard or made up yourself. Keep them around gaming/fantasy theme Here are mine: 1. Where do the necromancers eat Ice-cream? In the morgue. 2. There was this Necromancers festival held annualy. All gentlemen attended wearing traditional black robes and accompanied by their undead creations. There was one Necromancer who stood out of the crowd. His robes were black like the heart of a dragon. Others, wearing clearly faded clothes approached him, started to touch and examine the robes. Finally one of them asked puzzled: "Is it new?" The Necromancer replied: "No, it was washed in....\m/ Perwoll Black Magic \m/."
  3. This is NOT mine, I did not write this. I found it to be a little gem written on theMittani forums and figured I'd share. Written by: GRIMDARK FUTURE (On the Mittani forum: http://themittani.com/news/star-citizen-biweekly-news-compilation-05) It is the year 2021, and Star Citizen's release has been postponed to Fall of the next year for the tenth year in a row. The new "Spinning Module" has been released, which allows prospective players to spin ships inside of a hangar, but only after they pay real-world money to purchase that ship. There are hourly developer updates full of platitudes and excuses, showing very little work being done. The rate of developer turnover has increased; current estimates have it reaching less than two milliseconds per developer within the next seven months. Every other day, a new funding milestone is reached: the game's overall funding stands at $7 billion, larger than the GDP of Mauritania. Chris Roberts hasn't been seen or heard from for 3 years now, after hijacking his private jumbo jet full of harem girls while high on cocaine and crashing it into the Indian ocean. He is rumored to be living like a god on a small island, enticing the natives with crowdfunded ideas for temples and virgin sacrifices. Rabid roving gangs of fans now roam the streets of Detroit, homeless after putting all of their lives' savings into the SC kickstarter. Sacrifices to Chris Roberts are made daily by these bands of junkies, in the hope that he will release the game sooner. ______________________________________________________ I found it hilarious, hope you all enjoy
  4. Well, where the hell do I even start. For some reason, I'm terrible at introducing myself. I guess I could start out by saying... I like pizza. I mean, who doesn't like pizza? ... You say you don't like pizza? Yeah, okay wise guy. I'll start off by saying that I've been in a gaming community before, but I don't talk to anyone on there, so I'm going to try to be more active on here and make some good friends. I'm in the middle of being extroverted and introverted. I'm also a bit laid-back, so don't be afraid to send me a message, I don't bite (unless you smell kinda good... like pizza). There is one other forum (besides the other gaming community) I've joined before, but it's pretty much a ghost town. If it was a real place you'd see tumbleweed rolling across the road. When it comes to games I like to play, well, I like to play all kinds of games. I'll play things ranging from The Last of Us (<- one of my favorite games ever) to LittlebigPlanet. I just play what I find to be fun and engaging. Although, I should say that I can't really play games that require a ton of investment. I purchased Guild Wars 2 last year and I haven't been able to play it much since it requires a lot of time to be put into it. I can still play matches and stuff online in other games, but I won't be joining anything with guilds where you have to be super-active. For the past year I've been playing mostly on PC, and I don't think I'll be getting any of the new consoles anytime soon. Is this introduction getting too lengthy? I have more to say but this isn't a personal blog or anything, so I'll wrap it up. I'll be happy to make some new friends on here, and I hope to have an amazing time. I'll see you all around.
  5. Now if you've gotten past my horrible ''play on acronyms'' in the title and clicked the actual thread, hello! Happy to see people are excited about the relaunch of the Angry Army just like I am, I find AJ's ideas very interesting and hope it all works out. I hope to make this my general ''gaming hub'' where I go to check out community stuff on different games, participate in forum discussions (we all know how fun they can be lol) and of course play games which is what we're (hopefully) all here for. A bit about myself if anyone is interested. I've been a gamer for as long as I remember. One of my favorite genres is space; in particular Freelancer (which I still play from time to time), Privateer, the X games, Frontier, Privateer and of course the upcoming Star Citizen which I backed and from which my wallet is hiding... Furthermore I like music, browsing the internet, running and jumping around, voice acting and generally trying to have as much fun as possible. So nothing out of the ordinary there. That's it for now guys. See you on the forums!
