  2. The AJSA Club will be holding tryouts for the AJSA ranked team during the first two weeks. We will be looking for the starting spots in all 5 positions. Reply to this thread with your LoL ign and the two roles you want to try out for. The first role listed will be assumed to be your first choice. Once signed up, we may start spectating your games at any time to narrow down the pool of contestants for the starting spots. We will look at your general mechanics, your ability to ward and communicate enemy behavior, and how you manage your lane. The starting spots will determined by a set of games played with a combination of the finalists. Certain important traits for each role: Top: The most diverse role right now. We will look at not only how well you manage your lane and avoiding ganks, but this is a role where you need a deep champ pool to take advantage of a quickly evolving meta. Jungle: We won’t be looking at just farming and gank attempts; we want to see how well you set your team up to control the entire map. Mid: This lane is not just about stomping your opponent in both CS and kills. Can you roam and help your jungler have control over the river through the mid game? Being able to do that without sacrificing lane dominance will win you a lot of support. ADC: Well, can you CS effectively while taking smart trades with the enemy laners? You should also be to understand your lane’s vision requirements. Support: Besides trading in lane, and keeping your gunho ADC alive, can you roam and set up the pressure and vision needed to control the map? If you don’t think you have enough free time this season to be on the team, but have a great understanding of League, ask to be one of the evaluator. To be fair, if you want to help evaluate players for a starting spot, you can’t compete for a starting spot.
  3. This month marks the start of the AJSA League of Legends mentor program. To sign up for the program just respond to this thread if you already posted your player info here: http://angryjoeshow.com/ajsa/forums/topic/35841-ajsa-lol-player-information-thread/ . If you haven’t put your information there, and want to sign up, I need your rank, role(s), what you can teach, and what you want to learn. Once you sign up here, I will look at your past 10 games to determine your baseline numbers for CS/min, KDA, GPM, team objective share, vision control, and win rate. I will glance over your past 20 games for a larger sample of your current role(s) and champion pool. I will then assign you a mentor and/or “student”. If you are a high skill level player already, there is a chance you will end up with two students and no mentor. Lower skill level players may not get a student, but will also not have more than one mentor. Just for extra incentive to improve, or help someone else improve, the student who improves the most by September 18, 2016, and their mentor, will receive a 1380 RP code. “Most improved” will be determined from increases in rank, win rate, CS/min, KDA, GPM, vision control and objective share along with successful introductions of new champions and roles. Most of the final values will be the average of your last 5 games' stats. Win rate, champion pool and role introduction will taken from the last 10 games. Your improvement will be determined from the delta of your baseline and final values. To decrease the chance of stat manipulation, the time I take final stats will be kept hidden from participants. My suggestion is just play as much as possible to increase your stats. There were will be special weights on certain stats for different roles. Jungler will have a 1.5x for jungle monsters in ally jungle and 2.0x for monsters in the enemy jungle. Jungler lane CS will have a 0.5x weight. Supports will receive 2.0x value for warding/dewarding, will have 1.5x value for assists, and will receive 2.0x the value for dragons taken before 20min. These weights should offset the wealth of stats the other three roles would get in a game and give supports and junglers a better shot at winning. Good luck out there, and I hope to see the whole group sign up for this.
  4. Happy Anniversary AJSA! To celebrate the 3 year anniversary the AJSA League of Legends club hosted the second AJSA League of Legends 1v1 tournament. Ayy Memer convincingly took first place winning by first blood in every game. Second place was taken by the defending champion IceSoul (Senpai Corea). He also made Blitzcrank the highest win rate champion who has been played multiple times in the 1v1 series with a 100% win rate. Yes, I am surprised too. Third place was taken by AphoticAngel beating out gpawshaft02 and finishing in the money. He also was the only person who came close to taking a game off Ayy Memer in the tournament. The highlight is definitely worth watching https://clips.twitch.tv/thetitan18/BlushingGrasshopperPuppeyFace. The final winner of the night was NamelessPric who scored highest in the prediction game by a lot. Now we all know who to go to for Powerball numbers. Overall we saw the competitors favoring to kill each other this time instead of trying to CS their way to a victory which made for quite a show. I would like to that all the competitors who showed up and gave it their all, and SONY Showtime who stepped up into the second caster spot when Kronosfighter couldn’t make it. Moving Forward: The next iteration of this will definitely not be until around spring of next year. There have been ideas thrown around like restricting classes, ranks and changing the format to a 2v2. This is where we need your feedback. What do you want to see? On the topic of moving forward, there are a few more things to address. The AJSA ranked team. I am sure more info will be posted by Titan, but 1st string positions will be on the line soon. The current idea is to shuffle teams together in custom matches of those who want to apply and we will observe their games and take notes. We will then vote on who will make the 1st string spots based on quite a few criteria. I would love have a sign up soon so we can start spectating people’s regular matches. We still want to make the mentor program happen. Originally, it was trying to be implemented at a time that would be tricky for a lot of players. Expect more info about the mentor system after the holidays, and school is back in full swing. There is also a team tournament currently being talked about. We are still talking about it, but when there is more info, it will be shared. Expect it to be run early next year unless it ends up being axed.
  5. I would like to welcome you to the 2nd AJSA NA League of Legends 1v1 Tournament. The tournament will be hosted on November 19, 2016 at 6pm Est. There will be 16 spots available in this tournament. Prizes will be handed out for first through third place finishes. Third place wins a $35, second place wins $50 cash and first place wins $75. To sign up for the tournament you have to be apart of the AJSA League of Legends Club and respond in the forum announcement with your in-game name. Seeding will be randomized Check in will be at 5:30pm Est in the club chat. If you are not present by 5:45pm Est your spot will be forfeited to the reserve list. The opening rounds of the tournament will be single matchups. The semifinals and finals will be best of three. Match Rules: The 1v1s will be played on Summoner’s Rift (in the mid lane) and the win conditions are first blood, first tower or first to 100 CS. Selections, Early Rounds: The selection process will include a “chat ban” phase before a blind pick during the opening rounds of the tournament. During this process each contestant can ban up to 3 champions. This ensures nobody has an unfair advantage in the single matchups. Selections, Finals: The semifinals and finals will have a draft phase. There will be a coin toss to determine the order in which sides will be picked in the best of three. Winning: Once any win condition is reached, both participants take a screenshot of the scoreboard to submit for review if your game is not being casted. If the score board is suspicious, the matchup will be replayed with an observer. Suspicious scoreboards include reaching 100 CS before 9.5 minutes into the match which is the realistic threshold for 100 CS without missing a minion. Streaming: Games will be broadcasted on https://www.twitch.tv/thetitan18 and/or https://www.twitch.tv/ajsagaming . Every semifinals and finals matchup will be broadcasted. Broadcasted matchups in the opening rounds will be chosen at random and participants will be informed if they are selected. Unbroadcasted Matches: All unbroadcasted matches in the first round have to be underway by 6:20pm Est. All unbroadcasted matches in the second round have to be underway by 7:20pm Est. This allows for remake time if necessary. Disconnects, Hardware Failure, and Bugs: In the event of any of these situations, the game will be remade if neither side has hit 60 CS. If one side has hit 60 CS, the CS delta has to be under 15 for a remake if the player affected is behind. If a remake is the outcome, the game will have an observer, and has to launch within 5min of the decision. If this happens two times to one player in a match, that player will forfeit that match.
  6. The AJSA July League of Legends 1v1 tournament wrapped up Sunday night with Icesoul beating Lazyboon 2-1 to take the title. Now that everyone is settled down, I would like to hear your thoughts on this tournament and some ideas that may be implemented in the next one. First, how did you like the current format? Was it exciting to play and/or watch? Was the tournament too long for just one block of time? Where the global bans fair, and do you think there were too many or too little? What problems would you like to see addressed moving forward? Now moving onto future stuff: Howling Abyss: There was some chatter about playing the 1v1s on this map and just playing for a nexus takedown. I do think that would make for an interesting tournament, but would play much slower and limit picks to strong pushing/tower taking champions. If this was to happen the Semifinals would be the start of the main stream and rounds before that would be played in the week prior with strict deadlines for the matches. Remember, a key part of howling abyss is no basing so that also needs to be taken into consideration. Future Seeding: I talked about this a little during the tournament stream. My personal plan is to give the top 4 contestants "Legend" status. The place they finished will be their seeding in the next tournament. This will give them a higher chance to score a bye in the opening round, and possibly have a better draw of early opponents depending on the number of participants we have in the next tournament. I feel success and hard work should be rewarded and not reset going into the next event. Also, players who made it to the quarterfinals in the tournament will have an extra "ticket" to get drawn into the next tier of seeds. Everyone who entered this tournament will get one ticket on their entry into the next one, and anyone new entering in will only be put in the drawing for the lower seeds. This is an example 24 participant bracket: http://challonge.com/hy32v94v. In that bracket you see how seeds would be laid out; the untitled slots could have anyone fill them. Future participant numbers: If you didn't get the hint from above, I am thinking of raising the cap on the participant numbers to 32. If that were to happen, no matter the map played, the opening round would be played off stream during the week prior to the main event. All of those games would need to have a member of the AJSA club view them and at least one screenshot of the win condition sent in a PM on the forum. With more aggressive advertisement especially on the LoL forums we could hit that cap easily, but it would also be a Platinum and under tournament if we decide to go this route for obvious reasons. Future prizes: If the tournament were to expand, the prize values at the higher end could increase, and will if I continue sponsoring the event. If the AJSA takes over sponsoring, I have no clue what the prize structure would be, and really could only give advice on what it should be. That I think will be decided in the coming weeks. The major thing we would have to worry about with the prizes is sustainability. I think wraps up everything. Comment with your constructive thoughts and any criticisms. I know this is not perfect yet so any feedback is welcome.
  7. (WARNING INCOMING PLAGIARISM) League of Legends is a fast-paced, competitive online game that blends the speed and intensity of an RTS with RPG elements. Two teams of powerful champions, each with a unique design and playstyle, battle head-to-head across multiple battlefields and game modes. With an ever-expanding roster of champions, frequent updates and a thriving tournament scene, League of Legends offers endless replayability for players of every skill level. So, most of us know how popular LOL is! And it's not going away like many other upcoming MOBAs (Infinite Crisis T_T). So why doesn't it already have the AJSA in it pentakilling the world?! Well the truth is people have tried and without regular events it has been hard to keep the community together. It is my hopes that I am able to change this by starting our own in-house league. People currently playing: TheTitan18 Noobanaga UltraXCarnage KronosFighter TheDycer IWANTBLOOD K1ngMathis elment74 Generalzombielord PentaBaconEater SONY Showtime tastefulbrii CelticDK Robert2424 theGamerWolfo PROS: Constantly updated Over 100 Characters to explore In- Game club system (Clanish) Free to Play not Pay to Win IN-House competitive League Streamer Support CONS: Community has died in the AJSA already once Rage may consume you EXAMPLE EVENT: Single elimination tournaments winner take all $$$ regular season games Rookie learning events and games MVP Awards MIP Awards So if you play the game, even casually, there will be something for you here. If you have never played a moba before but are interested, there is something for you here. 8. I would like to take a moment and welcome you to the AJSA NA League of Legends 1v1 Tournament. The inaugural tournament will be hosted on July 10, 2016 at 6pm Est. There will be 16 spots available in this tournament. Prizes will be handed out for first through fourth place finishes: 1st place wins $75 2nd place wins $50 3rd place wins a 3500 RP code 4th place wins a 1380 RP code To sign up for the tournament you have to be apart of the AJSA League of Legends Club and respond in the forum announcement with your in-game name. Seeding will be randomized Check in will be at 5:30 pm Est in the club chat. If you are not present by 5:45 pm Est your spot will be forfeited to the reserve list. The opening rounds of the tournament will be single match ups. The semifinals and finals will be best of three. Match Rules: The 1v1 matches will be played on Summoner’s Rift (in the mid lane) and the win conditions are first blood, first tower or first to 100 CS. Selections, Early Rounds: The selection process will include a “chat ban” phase before a blind pick during the opening rounds of the tournament. Selections, Finals: The semifinals and finals will have a draft phase. There will be a coin toss to determine the order in which sides will be picked in the best of three. Winning: Once any win condition is reached, both participants take a screenshot of the scoreboard to submit for review if your game is not being streamed. If the score board is suspicious, the match up will be replayed with an observer. Suspicious scoreboards include reaching 100 CS before 9.5 minutes into the match which is the realistic threshold for 100 CS without missing a minion. Global Bans: The following list of champions are unfair to play against and currently have absurd win rates (54%+) while maintaining an unhealthy ban rate (30%+). This list is subject to change; Malzahar, Swain. Streaming: Games will be broadcast on https://www.twitch.tv/thetitan18 and/or https://www.twitch.tv/ajsagaming. Every semifinals and finals match up will be broadcast. Broadcast match ups in the opening rounds will be chosen at random and participants will be informed if they are selected. Non-broadcast Matches: All Non-broadcast matches in the first round have to be underway by 6:20 pm Est. All Non-broadcast matches in the second round have to be underway by 7:20 pm Est. This allows for remake time if necessary. Disconnects, Hardware Failure, and Bugs: In the event of any of these situations, the game will be remade if neither side has hit 60 CS. 9. Come watch my stream I am cool I promise twitch.tv/laidbackmarco
  10. First of all, I want to thank everyone who has attended the meeting to help us out and share your ideas. Few more members wanted to join, but were unfortunately unable to, but there will be other chances and more meetings some other time. So the point of this thread is to share everything we talked about now so that you are all up to date on all information and things happening around here. 1. For those who didn't notice, I've been recently promoted to LoL EUW Leader to help out in the EUW side, organize events and tournaments. Before we decide to organize a tournament for EUW, we really need to get more players and members from EUW to join us first before starting with tournaments for the EUW. You can help out with that by inviting your friends to join us and invite people you meet in-game. I will open a chat group in LoL for AJSA EUW which we will basically use as a in-game roster so we can all meet up and play. 2. We are going to organize events AND tournaments in the AJSA, events will be more casual stuff while the tournaments will be for those who are more committed and want to prove they are the best. Why? Because the plan for now is to find out who the best players in the AJSA are and get them together to organize a team and make it the official AJSA LoL E-Sports team. AJSA has a official DOTA 2 team so why shouldn't we? These tournaments will of course be for everyone and they will also include prizes in form of RP. The details about the tournaments and everything will be of course posted in the announcement before the actual tournament is up. We will hold these tournaments both for NA and EUW, but before we do it for EUW, we need more active people from EUW of course. The tournaments will be held every few months and we will try to organize them on Fridays and Saturdays. However such details will still be discussed later. Just so you know, everyone can sign up for these tournaments, no matter which division and once we figure out the best players in AJSA, we will slowly start to get into starting a official AJSA LoL E-Sports team. However this is a slower process and we must go slow with it because real money from AJSA will be used to support the team, get them into tournaments and so on, so this will be a slower process, but we will start getting into it. 3. As I've already mentioned before, we will also be organizing casual events whenever possible and these will be held every one or few weeks. These will just be fun casual events and they will also be announced. These events will be organized both for EUW and NA, I will take care of it for the EUW, while Seph can help out on the NA side. Since Seph is busy as a leader for Wildstar, I will do my best to help out there as much as possible in any way I can. 4. We encourage everyone to join our Teamspeak Channel and join the LoL section whenever you are playing the game so you can play with your fellow members. As I've said at the start, I will open up a AJSA EUW chat group which will act as a in-game roster. For those of you who play in NA, just remember that the NA chat group already exists so just contact Seph for more information. If you are unfamiliar with how to use our TS server, all info is here: http://angryjoeshow.com/ajsa/forum/10-ajsa-tutorial-videos-guides/ If I'm not wrong, Seph will open a thread where you can post your ideas for events and any other suggestions. I will also open a thread for coaching new players to LoL who joined AJSA and I will see if anyone else wants to coach. If you are interested in coaching, I will add your name into the thread, new players can add you and it will be your chance to breed some new blood into League of Legends. For final note, we are all trying to bring the LoL section here more active and we got big plans for the future so we ask every one of you to help us out, be active in the forums, in-game and use the TeamSpeak channel. I will do my best to get more people into AJSA from EUW and organize events here and once we have enough people active, we can start with tournaments. Seph will be handling the NA side, but since he is busy with Wildstar, I will also do my best to help him out there any way I can. I can just play casually on NA due to my ping being too high (around 200) so you won't see me playing there a lot or trying to make plays.... So if you want to help out, make sure you invite your friends here, invite new players you meet into the in-game AJSA chat groups, invite them to the forums and of course, try to join Teamspeak whenever you can. Even if you don't have a microphone. We will do our best to organize events and tournaments to keep this place alive and growing, but we also need your help and to stay active. This would be all for now, as I've said, this is all the information we discussed on this meeting and I want to thank all who participated. Hopefully next time we get even more. If you got any questions, feel free to ask here. Also Seph, if I missed something or made a mistake, feel free to edit the post.
  11. Oddly enough this week we heard YouPorn, a site for mature content, had it's eSports team officially removed from the ESL. Keeping in mind that YouPorn tried everything to follow the rules laid down by the ESL. The ESL dropped the hammer in an email to the sponsored group saying new rules were in place to ensure the integrity of the sport. These rules, summed up, state that a team cannot be supported by a mature themed sponsor. This includes, no drugs, no alcohol, and no pornography. Here is where it gets weird. Bud Light recently announced Bud All Stars, a new ESL sanction team for eSports a day after YouPorn was removed. Double standards....? The Know goes over the whole thing in detail. Honestly hearing this, I feel like no one should support the ESL if at all possible. Will that happen, probably not, but it's better for those that love eSports be aware of this sort of thing.
  12. Since there was non, I created the "Angry Joe Show Army" club on League. So far, Azure Titan (Titan18) to jump in, just need to fill more slots of our Angry Army to get the tag going! This is in NA by the way.
  13. I don't want to be that guy but i thought it would be interesting to see what MOBAs people like. Please guys don't turn this forum into a flame war. also suggest more MOBAs that arn't in the list and i will put them up for Poll, thank you.

  16. They say in war that only the dead have seen the end of war, however the dead do not get to walk away with honor or glory, those fall to those who are left standing at the end of it... Welcome all to our next planned event, earlier on in the year i did one of these events and it was a huge success, with 16 brave member battling it out to see who would be the last man standing in a truely epic set of games. By the end of that event player and famed champion Morgomir1 took home his 3rd event victory but now...a new event has come..will history repeat itself? or will there be a new last man standing? This event will be based on the following: 4 groups of 4 players (atm max player count of 16 players per event, tho if we get enough intrest i will expand the player count) who will play each other once per group with the winner and the 2nd place from each group moving on into the second round of the event while the 3rd and 4th places are knocked out. In the second round the winner of each group will play against the second place from the next group and vice verse with the winner from each battle moving on to the next round while the loser is knocked out (games at this stage will be best of 3). The 4 remaining players will then move into a simi final best of 3 with the winner from stage 2 group 1 playing the winner of stage 2 group 2 and the same for the other two group winners (Again loser is knocked out). Last two players standing will then play in the final which will also be a best of 3. ---------- Rules/Things to know: The winner of this event will win 5.00 euro RP prize (Subject to change) while the second place will win a Mystery Gift. All games will be played on the Howling Abyss map Games will be set up in Bilnd pick game mode, with 8 champions limit, cant reuse a championg after you have played him, i will keep a record on what champs each player uses To win a game, 1 player must take down the other players nexus A Screenshot of the end of the game scores MUST be taken and sent to me at the end of each game played (games will NOT be vaild if no screenshot is taken and sent to me for prove of game played). Players from level 30 unranked to plat 1 may sign up to this event. Each player is expected to behave and keeping flaming to a min, anyone who goes overboard on the harrasment WILL be kicked from the league and banned from future events, this also appiles to trolls and any other form of unsporting acts Games may be streamed if wished (just remember to please enclude some form of promotion for this page/events) It is up to the players to add the player who they have been matched against and to then arrange with said player there game within a week of being informed in the first stage of this event. The Winner gets 1 point per victory per win per game, the loser earns 0 points. Points will be the main scoring system for the first stage of this event. 17. (note this is just a preview, the event will be a EUW event and further info+sign ups shall be open sometimes next weekend)
  18. So A New Champion Has Come Out and Riot Is doing a better and better Job of Promoting the Hype for new Characters unveiling a new CG Cutscene as well as a preview of his abilities too keep our arms and legs safely aboard the hype train. So what is in store for league of legends. . . only time will tell. ^i'll try to keep the time puns to a minimum but tbh I really can't help it First I'll Give My Thoughts on the Animation that they have released Here is a Link to It If you haven't Seen It Yet The cel shaded art style they decided to go with reminds me of the way the walking dead/ boarderlands was done with strong inking lines its a good style imo. It seems like they compositied traditionally 2d animated smoke and particle effects which gives a great over the top anime feel to it. Riot Continues to amaze me with the large amount of skill and talent they have making their CG cut-scenes and as always they do an amazing job of making the champions we know and love. . . or get to know come to life. This short combines fantastic pacing, art style, and sound design while focusing on what makes this champion unique. There Has Been Speculation That Vi, Jinx, and Ekko were all part of the same Gang and this could be where their hangout was the blue haired girl on this Wall Resembles Jinx. Who Ekko Had a Crush On The beginning of the video starts off showing a wall of memories/graffiti with Ekko giving a monologue about time which is his unique game play dynamic. . . When he talks about wanting more time as in days, months, and years it really showcases how much actual time, no pun intended, was put into his character design, because to me everything Ekko says in the introduction, helped by fantastic voice-acting, really carries a deeper meaning. He eventually talks about seconds which is the title of the short and holds a big emphasis both in the video and in league of legends where in high level play seconds are sometimes the deciding factor in team-fights. A Battle Of Strength Vs. Speed, Agility, and Wits The fight in the short showcases both Ekko's nimble, scrappy, and smart fighting/play style, but his ultimate as well which might be the coolest part about the character. Ekko smartly picks apart at this excuse my language "mechanized bane looking mother fucker" by cutting at his opponents weaknesses while at the same time using his rewind feature every time he ends up injured due to making a mistake. It's important to highlight that in game and in the video he is only partially healed for the damage he takes in fights. At the end we see into more of who Ekko is, because although he lives in Zaun he's not much of a punk as he rewinds time to preserve the wall . . . perhaps the wall is not only a physical representation of Ekko but a symbol to the time he has been alive and his memories as well. "Yuh Dun Fucked it Up"- Angry Joe Once Again Ekko says something deep to wrap up the video "if you can't make the most out of any given moment. . . you don't deserve an extra scond". . . which is true in everyday life and is something I'm trying to live by because you never know what day might be your last. Now onto the in game preview and leaked PBE info I've gathered I'll start of With the Character Design Being A Fan Of Mohawks, and Having One Myself Ekko Gets Bonus Points In My book Ekko's visual design reminds me a lot of the bastion and transistor series and shares the same designer who created Jinx, Gnar, and Vi. His unique hair style and some what cyberpunk/steampunk design really matches his character's attitude, his pride for Zaun, and his disgust with authority and Piltover. Riot did a great job of making sure even his reveal page tell's you something about the character Being one of the newer champions in the league there is a lot of lore which Ekko must fit into and they do a better job than most champions making sure that he fits into the established world for instance this character is so detailed that his idle animations, particle effects, and even his interactions with other champions have allusions to the in game lore. . . He the most well voice acted lines I've seen in a champion yet and makes me hope riot will update some of the older . . . and not that old champions to have to have the same amount of voice acted lines. I mean his taunts are actually taunts making fun of certain champions. . . and similar to jinx has special interactions with piltover and zaun champions. Ekko has something to say about everything and is the first champion that I'm aware of that says things when buying certain items the attention to detail astounds me. Ekko's Dance Actually Has Him Emulating Guitar Noises Ekko's personality is that of a young punk rock loving adult who is rebelling against society and vies for individualism . . . while he dislikes authority and society and razes hell every now and then he doesn't seem evil like the likes of urgot and some of the other notorious Zaunites its seems he is more of an anti-hero. Which makes me really like him. . . because I'm a weird person who likes back stories and lore in even MOBA games. Mind You these are speculations and opinions of what Ekko Could be like and I will Make another article after fiddling with him Shifting onto the game play aspect. . . Ekko is a melee ranged AP Utility Assassin who makes use of both his passive slow and speed boost in combination with his active slows. . . stuns basic attacks and spells in order to make an impact in fights. Ekko's Passive, Z-Drive Resonance, is similar to Gnar's W Passive, but ekkos passive slows as well, this utility can be used offensively to stick to targets or defensively to peel back keep in mind that Ekko's damaging spells proc this so all it takes is 1 spell rotation to proc it without auto attacks Ekko's Q , Timewinder, will be the standard bread and butter for harassing enemies similar to Ahri this skillshot does more damage on its return trip. . . while reading the Ekko design notes they said that before he could chose when the q came back which is sad to hear because I would have enjoyed that mechanic Ekko's W Parallel Convergence has a strong passive effect which makes it dangerous to stay around ekko when having low health and the active packs monsterous range and an aoe slow/stun that also give ekko a Big shield. . . characters with shields make some nasty outplays. . . that is some riven level shielding with the large ap ratio what ekko is going to be building anyways Ekko's E is a combination of both a dash and a blink that deals bonus damage and obviously since its an auto proc on hit effects if ekko builds enough cdr he could be a tough man to get away from or to catch because It is possible to auto attack minions and jungle creeps with the empowered auto Ekko's R is what is going to make or break most players. . . the heal, untargetability and damage are great and have good scaling but a well timed ultimate could catch enemies of guard if he ults into a parallel convergence stunning the enemies inside What I'm interested in seeing is where Ekko is capable of going and what builds he is capable of pulling of successfully. I'd like to try him in all lanes and in the jungle and try him with different builds AP bruiser, tanky, glass cannon, hybrid builds perhaps? You never know. . . they built fizz ad time will tell. . . How would you build Ekko?? Leave Your Comments Below Image Taken From http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Ekko http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/page/champion-reveal/ekko-boy-who-shattered-time

  21. Ok everyone the time has come, sign ups are now open for our newest event, a 1v1 league Spring split lower tier league (base on the very good 1v1 league we ran last year). This will be a drawn out event over a couple of months (depending on how fast we get games done) long 1v1 league, which players can play in when they can to help avoid (and cut down on) players being unable to make deadlines. Depending on how many players sign up for this will depend on how many games everyone will be playing, everyone will play everyone at least once, and in the case of a tied final it will be done as a best of 3 game. There will be a RP price for the winner (unsure atm on amount going to be looking into funding), also there will be a price for the player with the best attuide, most honorable, most kills and less deaths (note players cannot stack these rewards, even if ur the winner of the event, u will only get the RP price for being the winner, its to help spread out the rewards for playing and to encourage people to stick with the event). -------------------- Rules will be as follows: -All games will be played on Howling Abyss map -Games will be set up in blind mode -A Screenshot of the end of the game scores MUST be taken and sent to me at the end of each game played (games will NOT be vaild if no screenshot is taken and sent to me for prove of game played). -Players from level 30 unranked to Silver 1 may sign up to this league -Deaths and kills will be recorded, and will be used when decideding players standing in the league and in cases of ties, also prizes can be won for low death count and high kill count. -Suiciding.....This has been a topic of quite a bit of rage from and for some members so for this event and BANNING suiciding (aka killing someone then going and letting the towers kill u afterwards). Normally my stance on this is the middle ground but for this event am going to ban it to see how much of a event it has on games and will use feedback from this on deiceding on how i will handle this issue for future events. -Each player is expected to behave and keeping flaming to a min, anyone who goes overboard on the harrasment WILL be kicked from the league and banned from future events, this also appiles to trolls and any other form of unsporting acts -Games may be streamed if wished (if anyone records there matchs please info me, i have a youtube channel set up to post games on should you allow me to post them there, its a none profit channel before anyone asks) -It is up to the players to add the player who they have been matched against and to then arrange with said player there game within a week of being informed, if a game can not be set up in that time both players will get 0 points and the game counted as a draw on there league history. -To win a match, 1 player must take down the other players Nexus (Winner gets 1 point per victory) -At the moment am looking for around 10 players before starting this league. (tho more can join) ----------------- Advanced sign ups are open to anyone who would wanna play, atm no start date has been set as we will start as soon as we reach the min amount of players and always i hold the right to cancel this league should there be a lack of player turn out. (Disclaimer type thingy...this will be the second time iv done something like this, and will take a lot of cooperation between players and myself, so there will be mistakes and slip ups) https://www.facebook.com/LKLoLLC

In the second round the winner of each group will play against the second place from the next group and vice verse with the winner from each battle moving on to the next round while the lose is knocked out (games at this stage will be best of 3). The 4 remaining players will then move into a simi final best of 3 with the winner from stage 2 group 1 playing the winner of stage 2 group 2 and the same for the other two group winners. (again loser is knocked out) With this done we will play a final between the last two players standing, this will also be a best of 3.
