  1. Holy hell, It's been forever since I've been here. I was a former officer in the AJSA and helped with the Archeage guild we had there. We had a lot of good times back on it untill Trion royaly screwed the pooch. Well it's been a long time and a new Archeage has come out. No, not that unchained BS but Archrage! Archerage is a private server run by the fans and supported through donations through a very much downgraded cash shop. The sever from what I've seen doesn't have a bot issue, no more getting our land sniped from us and no more over the top prices due to inflation. The labor Mechanics have been changed, we generate labor at a much faster rate and it's uncapped all the way so running out shouldn't be a issue in most cases. The cash shop is a whole lot less then what it used to be but everything that is purchased goes to the server. Mirage Island is well stocked. Everyone has patron status, so we all have increased drops, more labor regen when offline, bonuses, amongst other things. Enemies have been buffed so they aren't paper dolls like how they used to be. And the biggest plus of all, Trion and now Aeria can't get their greedy game killing paws on it.

  3. I`m looking to try a new game on my PC.
  4. Hey Soldaten, I figured I would share this project I look forward to with all of you guys and gals. Let's begin by talking about Face of Mankind. Who here has even heard of this wonderfully small MMORPG? It was a game with the idea of having player run factions creating the game's lore as it progressed. There were Government factions (Army and Police), Mega Corporation Factions, and Criminal/Fringe Factions (Anarchists, Gangsters, and Mercenaries). This game was set in a future where humans had created off world colonies and cloning was a everyday thing (The lore reason people respawned if they died). It was a small game with a loyal fanbase, but after being released all the way back in 2006 and having owners of the games switch hands a few times, the game fell out of light and close. (For viewing pleasure ) There is a return as foretold by a prophecy, however. A small band of developers, artists, music composers, and writers have all come together to work on Mankind Reborn! Mankind Reborn (MR) follows a similar formula from Face of Mankind and has taken a large inspiration from it. Factions are present in the game's universe (All pre-made, however due to the early development some of the factions can be renamed to something lore friendly.) This game differs from Face of Mankind significantly, and has a new Cyber Punk aestethtic that is reminiscent of such genres like Blade Runner or maybe even RoboCop. Anyway, I would recommend anyone who is interested in finding a Cyberpunk MMO to play, this one is in development and a release date is not yet available, BUT the people working on it are hard at it.   5. So I've taken up playing Star Trek Online on Xbox One. Really fun game, if you haven't gotten it you should. It's free. But I have a massive issue with a large aspect of this game. So you can play as three different faction types. When you make a new character you can choose from The Federation and join Starfleet Command, the Romulan resistance, or Klingons. Most people who aren't big on Star Trek play Romulan because they have the largest and arguably most powerful ships. Most of the player base are Starfleet/The Federation because they're the "good guys." Klingons are the assholes who just kill people and scream "HONOR!" like some entire race of Zukos. I picked Klingon because they're not evil, just misunderstood. And hoo boy are they misunderstood by the game creators because Klingons have the smallest, arguably weakest ships. They're the strongest on-ground because they get resistance and physical damage buffs. The resistances are almost negligible and physical damage is useless when you're in a room full of enemies with disruptors. Their long-range weapons both on-ground and in the air pale in comparison to either other faction even though they're a battle race and even their tiniest ships have posed a threat to Enterprise ships. Their story is also a bit lackluster compared to the other stories from what my Starfleet friends have told me and from my own experience in the Romulan storyline. I felt that I needed to put this somewhere because Klingons are already seen as scum, to make them generally useless is a slap in the face. There are deep space encounters where you and a bunch of random people get into a massive space battle versus some AI ships. My Teir 3 Klingon Battle Cruiser flies alongside some Tier 3 Federation and Romulan ships looking like a pest flying around them and my attacks are like mosquito bites compared to their assaults of rapid, powerful laser blasts and very powerful abilities. Good game though, pretty fun aside from that realization.
  6. Seeing as there have been no other topics on the subject of a guild, other than a rant topic, I decided to pop one up! Much like Warlords expansion, shall we have a Angry Joe Show Army guild, just like on WoD launch? I don't expect it to live beyond a few months because that's usually the amount of time people sub to WoW for anyway, before extended inactivity. I've made mention and popped the question above, but there hasn't been meaningful feedback, nor any official announcements from our Angry Council. For now myself, and everyone, can only speculate. I don't expect the game to go official support, but perhaps a temporary 'community' game. Plus, officership and so-on would be required, but likely none willing.
  7. Building is 100% free form and this is video by Necromaniak, one of players in alpha tests: ... and this is how it looks many, many hours later: He built this by C.U.B.E. (Camelot Unchained Building Environment) and buildings it will matter a lot for the economy and especially for control and defense of conquered territories. Of course, these images represent only the style and choices of one player - furthermore, this is rather early and rough, alpha tests look of the aforementioned building tool. Structures can be fully destroyed - unless you build offline or in starting zones BUT there will be siege windows (time for destruction) and it should take big number of players and siege engines. Victors will have the choice between leveling conquered buildings to the ground, repairing / inhabiting them or picking them apart for resources - in order to build elsewhere. Another interesting (well, to me at least) aspect is underground building - connected to mining, actual digging of long tunnels underground. Oh, by the way - the game is Camelot Unchained aka "Dark Age of Camelot 2", PvP/building/crafting MMORPG by Mark Jacobs. Some of it's important features are three Realms, 33 different classes (! - but not all will be there by launch), physics and spell collision (say, frost + fire produce steam), players crafting their abilities from components and world - made of huge islands - changing it's texture and shape (!) based on player territory control. Available videos mostly have 2013 i.e. placeholder models and animations, since the team was focused on building and testing their custom made engine, physics and some basic features till recently. This is major reason for NDA still on, but there is couple vines and screenshots giving orientation about game's final look - such as this or this. Game access now is kinda expensive (and, frankly, it isn't worth the money yet, unless you want to support the game) but beta should start in a month or two, and they'll have open beta (free tests) in 2017.

So i stumpled upon this game a while back It's from the same people that made Lost Saga it's a mmorpg where you're able to tame and ride alot of various beasts, instead of just being pretty mounts that allows you to travel around faster.   9. Earlier today Wildstar uploaded an announcement video on their youtube channel stating that Wildstar will go F2P the 29th of September. In the video they talk about the announcement, their time at PAX and some stuff about the F2P PTR (which includes removing the hollo-cryptkeeper or maybe not). Also, hoverboard races with leaderboards and prizes.   10. Founders Access this fall - and fall has arrived! Winter is coming and there's only a few months until then, which means, Founders have access within the next couple months! Joe and Delrith likely have Xeno-packs or something, but I would like to know of our other members who also have founders access so we can gather and perhaps plan. Do we have a Angry Army planned with a specific faction and sub faction? (of course, whichever has the best angry colours). I figure these details will be put together at the last minute. UPDATE: I got e-mail notification to redeem a code and a survey for the alpha. I am optimistic that it's authentic but I haven't checked it out yet. I hope to see staff development soon. Mind you, the game is under that nasty 'no talky-talky' rule about it's actual content.

I'd like to recomend Firefall for an official presence of the angry army, which i think is perfect, given our goal is to make games better, and the game is still in beta, so its a perfect opportunity. PROS: -Free to Play -Army Support (guild/clan/wutevs) -Very well designed and fun game -great company that listens to feedback - New PVP system Introduced. I haven't gotten into it yet, but people are saying its similar to Planetside. - Fully voice acted missions and quests - New raid party system implemented (Platoons) As well as some new and upcoming raid content (I haven't looked into those yet and have not heard anyone talking about it so I don't know how it is, but If its anything like the campaign missions and dungeons, it should be something to look forward to. -Vehicles (They were there before, but now they are more easily accessible upon reaching level 25 and also more widespread) CONS: -Buggy due to being in beta. Many bugs were fixed since this was posted, but the latest patch introduced more content (and more bugs) Hopefully these will be fixed by the 29th, which is the game's release date. -Missing a lot of content due to being in beta. Mostly Fixed -Small map size (confirmed to be changed) All Fixed -Lack of Content (confirmed to be changed) All Fixed -Less than Stellar Customization (However, still decent customization. Unconfirmed rumors of additional customization to be introduced later on.) -Microtransactions exist, however, only for cosmetic, or convenience items. -New progression system replaces the old one, which was much more unique and interesting before.   17. The video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8713qwA6x6k If I didn't explain it very well, because I'm a rambling idiot, I'll summarize it here: So basically, I would make it an MMORPG. But there come problems with an MMO with free use of guns. Like, for instance, many people enjoy just going around killing anything with a heartbeat. So there would naturally be a penalty for doing such things, now you are allowed to kill people as long as you don't go on a freaking rampage. The penalty would basically be something like deduction of experience, quicker hunger loss, less damage, etc. It would be around 100-200 players for the servers, it seems like a lot, but it's only an idea. It would work like this, there are 3-5 different cities you can go to, each one is a different map and each city has it's own dedicated servers. Like, there would be New York, Detroit, Chicago, and other major cities like that. Each city has a different layout and different factions. Each city would be home to 3 or 4 factions. Like a faction that's trying to rebuild society and order and another one that just wants chaos. There's no good guy or bad guy, because in my opinion, everyone's the bad guy in someone's eyes. How the factions would work is that there are different districts in the city that any faction can take control of and the other faction can fight the other to take control of it. Each district has a camp where you can take supplies to gain extra experience and buffs. The more territory a faction has, the more resources they can gain, you know, the basic stuff. How territories can be captured, that needs a little more figuring out. Perhaps it could be like a capture the flag thing, like there are 4 or 5 different points in the district and all of them need to be captured by one side in order to take control of the district. Resources can be found as you would expect, you can find them around the map. Food would be rarer than water, guns would be rarer than ammo, things like that. Resources can be taken from the factions in raids and stuff like that. You would be able to customize your character obviously. You can get only a limited variety of armor due to having it seem a bit more realistic. Like it would only range from homemade armor, kind of like the Vault 101 armored jumpsuit in Fallout, to military uniform. There would naturally be skill trees; like steady aiming, extra damage, or slower hunger and thirst depletion. The connections to the show and comic don't really show, but if I followed the actual story there would be many restrictions. The original Walking Dead game followed a different group and a different story and it turned out great. So I don't see why I can't do the same. Well, I didn't have much time to write this, but I think it's a pretty solid idea. You might think differently, but that's fine.

  19. Well, campaign is over and unfortunately it didn't get funded. The team still plans on trying to finish the game they will just have to go back to the drawing board to refocus and replan what their "alpha" will look like since they wont be able to get all of the content they wanted to from their kickstarter without the funding. Even if it doesn't reach its goal I would like to inform all of you about the game. They currently have a free alpha completely accessible to the public, even if you're not a backer you can play it this weekend. It's only a 200mb download as well. I've never played Ultima Online so I don't know how similar it is but others who have played it say it does remind them of UO. Their big idea is to allow players to run their own servers however they want. You create the rules and the overall theme of your "server." They basically have Clusters, which is a group of shards, and Shards, which is like its own server. You can connect shards together so you can move from a fantasy themed world to a steampunk themed world and learn THEIR crafts and skills. And from what I understand you keep those skills outside of that shard so if you go back into the fantasy world you will have all skills from the steampunk world. I could be wrong but that's how I understood it. I think this is a fantastic idea and the developers do seem competent, they just need the money to make it happen. The current build is a pre-alpha. So far it seems stable, some things certainly are janky but again, it's not even an alpha build. It's still very much playable. Progression is skill and weapon based, no levels or anything like that. You can build your own houses. Currently I don't know if the functionality is accessible to players but the developers have shown that housing functionality is implemented. Check it out and if you like it come back here and let others know (and support it if you can of course ;p)

Recently a friend told me about Black Desert and after reading a bit about it on the site i got really hyped about it. www.black-desert.com I just thought it was odd that i didn't see any advertisement for it, at all. Since i search for MMOs a lot google always spews advertisements of them at me (which most of the time is really annoying...but ok) The game is still in closed beta and really reminds me of ESO (hopefully it will turn out a bit better though) (copy pasted from the official site) Introduction to Black Desert Online Black Desert has been under development for over a year, and Pearl Abyss has state that a completely new game engine was created for the game. This was done in order to meet the technical requirements of a large-scale open world that would hold expansive battles such as castle sieges. By having experienced in-house developers, they boldly made their own engine that allowed them to debug and customize their world more easily. Black Desert is a huge sandbox oriented MMORPG that provides a variety of unique experiences, including strategy-oriented action such as castle sieges and complex battle, and also sophisticated simulation content such as trading, NPC-hiring, and real-estate management. In an interview, it was stated that the world of Black Desert was divided into two countries – Calpheon and Valencia. These two factions are head to head in competition for The Black Stone, an essential energy resource. Calpheon is a prosperous, commercial-oriented land, while Valencia holds spiritual values above all else. Black Stones litter the desert area that separate the two countries, known as “Black Desert” to the people of Calpheon and “Red Desert” to the people of Valencia, due to the blood that stains the sand in consequence of the endless battles that take place there. Players write their own story in the deep world of Black Desert. Races and Classes The currently released classes for Black Desert are Warriors, Hunters, Sorceresses, and Predators. More classes, including Valkyries, Archers, Wizards, Bladers, and Assassins, are currently in development. The three known races are Humans, Elves, and Giants. In an interview, Brian Oh has stated that more classes are likely to be released and while classes are not gender locked, there is a possibility they will be race locked. Combat The game features an action combat system. All classes are able to ride mounts and use their weapons while riding. Mounted combat is not only for hunting, but also for PvP and castle siege. Mounted combat has several advantages, such as charging while mounting for increased damage, and easier access to knock down enemies. However, mounted combat takes more skill and precision. Black Desert will feature dungeons. Some dungeons are featured in quest and require objectives to be completed, such as guarding caravans, horse racing, finding lost cats, catching thieves, etc. Monsters are more difficult to defeat at night time, and grant experience bonuses upon death. Some materials you get from monsters may only be available at night time. PvP and Death Penalties It has been confirmed that open-world PvP will take place in Black Desert, and new players that aren’t interested in PvPing will be protected by simply turning off the PvP option. It has also been mentioned that a PvP arena is being developed, but currently isn’t yet released. Upon dying, items will drop from your inventory that only you can pick up – meaning that nobody can steal your valuable item, but you have to find it again in the world to retrieve it. Items that the player has equipped cannot drop. Parkour Rather than most games that let you statically jump over walls or run into them, Black Desert features a Parkour system. Your character can climb anything that is low enough, and catch beams to hoist you up. This creates a sense of realism that has never before been seen in other MMORPGs. AI of NPCs An important part of Black Desert is building relationships with NPCs. Depending on your relationship, an NPC is likely to reward you with benefits. For example, upon saving an old woman’s cat, she shows her gratitude by granting you access to a dungeon. NPCs have their own interests, such as another NPC, a certain mob, or a piece of lore, allowing you to build your reputation and open interactions with them. Castle Sieges Castle Sieges are the main Guild vs. Guild PvP system that Black Desert offers. A castle is granted to a guild, allowing them to control the economy and obtain taxes for that region. An opposing guild must attack and seize the castle. Opposing guilds can bombard the castle gates with cannons, or scale up castle walls using ladders. The defenders must dispatch shock troops, destroy artillery, and prevent the attacks from scaling walls. The number of players allowed to participate in Castle Siege is unlimited, creating an all-out war between several guilds. Player Housing It has been confirmed that in the Black Desert world, about 2000 houses will be available. This means that not everyone will be able to get one – this depends on if you have enough gold to buy it and if there are any up on the auction house. Each owner must pay taxes to the ruling guild at the time. If they cannot afford it, the house is relinquished onto the auction house. Inside your house you can place furniture that you or another player has built, and customize it extensively. You can also use it as a shop by putting crafting items and selling things there. Unpredictable Dragon From screenshots and interviews from Pearl Abyss, it’s been confirmed that dragons may attack towns and NPCs on occasion. So iv been following the devs who are working on Wild Star a new MMORPG and well from what i can tell its realy cool. and it looks like its realy fun to play, it is P2P but they have it set up like GW2 where you can earn gold in game and trade it for some money type stuff to buy your sub. anyone els been flowing this game

  24. In my opinion of why the angry army should play this game, to help bring attention to a game that have a promising future. Pros: Unique Three faction PvP system where the Third faction allows characters to create their own independent Rogue Nations.Player created city system allows players to form and design their own cities, structures and homes. Mayors can be assigned to oversee a city and manage it using strategy.Military Advancement system witch reward players With unique titles, abilities and items. Set Your reaction to other nations to one of five different Levels ranging from Ally to Nemesis. Create up to 99 ranks for Your nation, each With their own customizable names and settings. Advanced Generated Mission system With complex multi-stage missions tailored specifically for Your character. Missions are not all combat oriented. There are crafting, harvesting,diplomatic, and other non-combat variations available. No Levels, skill based gameplay features 75 unique skills, and 14 tiers within each skill line. Skills increase through use and abilites are earned and not given automatically. And many more. Cons: Its in private alpha, player controlled, No release date as of yet.
  25. I'm recently returning to the WoW game after being playing GW2 for almost 2 months. In WoW I've reached some of my chars to level 77 aprox (none 80's) and in GW2 I'm level 79; so I had the chance to explore a whole lot of the world, gameplay, combat mechanics, PVP, Dungeons, etc. I have to say that after a while playing GW2, the only thing that happened is that i wanted to return and play WoW haha. I have even made a list of what stuff I thought it was missing in the GW2 that is already in WoW (no particular order). Notice that I don't know anything about the cata or pandaria expansions, only until WOTLK. 1. Macros and addons. I have missed the use of my map, dps, etc. etc. addons that I have used a lot in WoW. I hate that the 3er party software is not allowed for the GW2 so the community cannot be involved in the software development of the game... I don't like it very much. 2. Pets. Ok that is not everything and is not the end of the world but I have to say: I really like them and I like to collect them. The stupid pokemonish fighting is not a big deal as I see, but just having pets I think it makes a slightly bit of difference. I really want to collect more. 3. Mounts. Oh that is a whole lot of a deal. When I see a high level player with a beautiful mount I have to respect them. They look really nice and I want to have one too. In GW2 every one of them is walking!! what the hell! at least give them something special so I could recognice them and respect the high levels! 4. WvW (GW2) vs reigns invasión (WoW). Both should be totally epic and leave a great gaming experience. The problem I saw was the great amount of lag when the most epic should be the WvW (due to the amount of players gathered all over in the same place). So the totally epic experience transforms in a laggy and hateful experience for me. I’m sorry but I don’t remember those problems in WoW when we invaded other reigns. Far from that, it felt great! 5. Level significance. I see pros and cons when it refers to the leveling in WoW and GW2. In WoW we all know that it takes ages for you to level up and in GW2 it could take like 30 minutes to level up and everything you do gives you a great amount of experience (even the crafting could make you win like 10 levels in an hour or less). The problem I see here is that in GW2 you don’t even care if you level up, you see a guy leveling 1 level and there is no gratz or nothing because it is just so easy to do it. In WoW, one level is a lot and everybody knows it so they contratulate you when you achieve it with all your effort and time. Also try having the best gear at level 30 in GW2, that is stupid, 4 hours later you would be between 35-40sh so why would I care for a great gear at low levels?¡ the only level that matters in GW2 is level 80. In WoW you know that your great gear for one level will still be your great gears for hours and hours of gameplay so it makes it a great deal. 6. Pulling down your level for low level places. There are also pros and cons for doing this. I hate to be level almost 80 in GW2 and having problems with levels 10-15 because they pull down my level! I really want to feel powerful and great so that when mobs hit me I could laugh at them because my time in the game has made me that powerful! I don’t want to die by a stupid pig… 7. LFG for Dungeons. The LFG systems for both games are good enough and I have the opportunity to enter the dungeons in both games. The problem I see here is the same stupid level of the players: when I was level 30 in GW2 I wanted to enter the Ascalon Dungeon, so I LFG and start seeing the problem “only level 80s”, “only experienced players”, etc. etc. Why the hell?¡ is a 30 level dungeon or is a 35 level dungeon or is 45 level dungeon, etc… why would work best for only 80s?¡?¡?¡ well there is a great reason: the freaking level 80 GEAR!!! I don’t care that the dungeons in GW2 are for level 35 because it says so, the real level for every dungeon in GW2 is 80. I don’t enjoy that, sorry. Now in WoW, if there is a level 15 dungeon is for level 15 inexperienced or experienced players because it says freaking level 15!!!!! No 80, no 90, is level 15!!!! Notice that I haven’t played PvP in GW2 but I would really appreciate that if I’m level 40 I could play with level 40 players with similar gear, not freaking 80’s with their great fancy gear vs my 40 gear… 8. Holy trinity. I never though I would say this, but GW2 has made me rethink about the holy trinity now that I have seen the dungeons, I miss it more than ever!!!! Oh my god, why would I miss that?¡ well in GW2 everybody is thinking for themselves mostly trying to not get killed and doing a lot of damage (I see it more like an individual gamestyle in a group), you don’t really care for your party members because they mostly have to be responsible for themselves. In WoW I just fell more involved and more responsible for my teammates, if I’m tanking then I have to make sure nobody gets hit but me, if I’m a healer I’m checking everybody’s stamina and making sure they have the proper healing buffs, if I’m DPS I have to do the most damage possible (and I could check that with my DPS addon...). Everybody seems to have a purpose in the party in a very great way. In GW2 it seems only like a great mess!!! Everybody is worrying mostly for themselves!! That doesn’t seem like a party… I’m sorry but no! 9. Minions. There are some several small details about the minions that I missed. I have played as a Warlock in WoW and I felt great about the minion control, autoattacks, that they could go and attack before me and all the control and special abilities that they have. In GW2 I have a necro and I have to ask: what happened? Only one attack for each minion? Why? I also noticed that they don’t aggro enemies, they can pass through an enemy and they don’t see them… why? They should as in WoW… Other thing is why the hell the minions disappear in the water? That is stupid haha I have felt down by accident in a lake (while staying at the shore) and other times in a swamp that has some deep hidden places, and when I get out of the water I see that my minions are freaking dead! Now I’m scared to get near the water because of that… I would like to see some cool combat dynamics for my minions in the water… 10. Gear management. Ok in GW2 I see you need a PVE, PVP, dungeon gear, maybe you want to be switching between a condition necro and berserk necro, etc. so, where is the button to make that gear exchange for every occasion? In WoW you have it and is really great improvement, I like it a lot! Just details, very good details… 11. Community participation, websites, guides, etc. The first thing I did when I entered GW2 was to try to look for their websites, I wanted to see my chars like in the armory webpage as in wow, I wanted to see more of the story, worldmaps, etc. etc. I found near to nothing. I know WoW has more time on the market, but why is there so much difference? It simply could be great to see more player involvement! 12. PvP servers. I miss them so much! In WoW, while being in PVE, I saw somebody from the Alliance when I was with the horde and I went for them and killed them! (Or get killed)! When it was a big problem for me, and they didn’t let me finish my pve quests I screamed to my horde fellows and they went and killed them to help me. It felt great! In GW2 you don’t have factions, so everybody is your friend, you can’t even duel anybody! I really miss WoW for that… 13. Animations in combat and graphics. Ok, I like the graphics in GW2, they look great and very realistic, but in WoW I also like the cartoonish style, sometimes the simple animation and graphics from WoW made me had some good times. So I would put them at the same level because I really don’t care a lot about the graphics, each one has their style and I love it. About the combat animations, they are more less alike, so same for both… BUT I don’t know if you have noticed but I have a dual wield warrior and I don’t know whyyyy there is no dual wield fighting mechanics in GW2!!!! You have a great animation for the greatsword combat and every other weapon in the game, but when it comes to the dual wield my char only uses the main hand weapon… really, was it so difficult to put that small detail that would make you feel good when having the dual wield?¡? 14. Trade windows. Was it much to ask for the GW2 to put a trade window? It might not be that hard to improve that! Come on, I just want to make an exchange with maybe a person I don’t know and I feel insecure with the mail mechanics… it is not so friendly. 15. Transportation. It really feels nice when you use the teleports in GW2, you can move very fast from one location to another, buuut I remember my first experiences as a new player in WoW, I really enjoyed the flying mechanics between the waypoints and the continents, I enjoyed the scenery and seeing that there were people playing all around the world. Later on, and in other occasions I used those traveling times to take small breaks and continue playing later on… sometimes having a break is good for such big long games! 16. Quest givers. Everybody talks about how they hate to go to the quest giver, talk to them so they give you a quest and when you have finished, then come back and finish the quest. What happens in GW2 is that you need to be close to the quest giver anyway so when you are in the area you can do the quest and when you have finished you might not go to the quest giver but then you would not know what is being selled with the karma you've just won by finishing the quest… so go ahead, go to the quest giver… is almost the same freaking thing! 17. Dynamic group events in GW2. Ok it is great that you encounter those and there is enough amount of players that would like to join the battle and enjoy these events! What happens or what it is happening to me is that I’m finding myself in a big open world… with nobody inside!!! I don’t know where are all the players but almost every time a group event is near, I don’t see almost anybody near to help… maybe in other times there was more people?¡ maybe if there were a small monthly fee the players would try to play more and maybe you would find it to be a better game? Say whatever about the WoW monthly fees, but in my own experience, the people who pays is more likely to be playing the game so if the server is full of people you would find a whole bunch of people inside almost in every place! now the group events might work just fine! 18. GW2 Personal story vs WoW World story. Ok the personal story, I have to say is awesome, I really like it, and I see how I am getting involved in the game. Notice that I haven’t finished it yet, but if there is an ending… what else is next?¡ there hasn’t been expansions or more events that continue that story, only side quests and side stories. In WoW we know about their expansions and they continue to make bigger and bigger the story of the game where you also feel like you are doing something very important. I know they keep saying that the last expansions are bad, but what about the Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King! Those were simply great! I’m still waiting for other great expansion, but that is the thing, we CAN wait for it, in GW2 you can’t because you know they are not making anything else in anytime soon… not any expansion or big improvement to the game. 19. Heroic class. I don’t know about you guys but when you reach level 55 in WoW, you at least need to give it a try to the freaking Death Knight Heroic class, it felt epic!!!!! I enjoyed it so much, playing by Arthas side! Oh my god, I felt really heroic haha! I don’t see an heroic class in GW2.. they should plan something like that I guess… or at least add other classes to the game to test them and not have the same for years… Probably the most of the people returned sooner or later to their mains, but the great experience of playing the first quests as a death knight felt asesome!!!!! nobody can take me that away hehe!!! 20. Small details that matter. As you have seen details in WoW seem more elaborated and improve the game, letting you have a great experience with each level you play in it. I guess that the payments are well spent and that I would like Blizzard to keep pulling out some great quality content. Until WOTLK it was pretty awesome, I’m hoping they soon recover what was lost in the last expansions and see the community grow even more! They have what they need to make it happen! GW2 and WoW very good MMORPG games and I think one should try them both. But in my opinion, I would stay with WoW because I think it is really worth playing a while more. Also, as everybody, I’m still hoping that Blizzard could lower the monthly fees (not cancel them, I don't think it is a good strategy for anyone). GW2 should now be working on big great expansions and not small less significant patches. They have been out for several years so they should think of improving the content of their game!
