Other content I found interesting this week THE PEWDIEPIE "SCANDAL"!! I noticed that the NicheGamer editor with the "can we hate him now" quote is the same guy who was recently going on a homophobic and transphobic rant about not wanting to support No Man's Sky last week, while also talking about his ban dodging (if anyone wanted to know why I don't use sites like that for the news post, that would mostly be the reason why). That aside, I was worried I linked to some badly written clickbait last week, thankfully I didn't. I read the FCC and Polygon article (which is the one I linked to) which actually just says that he was one of the people paid, Polygon's mention of him just said Which is correct, even PewDiePie says he now puts disclosures in a place where they are immediately visible, they also weren't one of the ones to use his image for their article or even mention him in the headline. You really can't call the Polygon article clickbait when he wasn't even mentioned in the preview part of the article on their homepage. The Verge article being the opposite with him as the first word of the title, his image being attached, saying he is a reviewer, and saying he didn't disclose it. The ones saying he didn't disclose at all, using his picture for the headline, and saying he reviewed it, that would typically be something that I look more into, but he was such a minor inclusion to the FCC and Polygon write up that it didn't even cross my mind to think about him. Suspected Censorship Shared some fake screenshots that account was sharing a week or two ago but that's pretty funny to me that they were worried about a game that actually has different pairs of panties put on every day of the week and thinks censorship happened when they change.
  7. I remember there being a couple of threads about Minecraft, and there's actually a server that my girlfriend owns and she says we can chill out on it. The main focus right now is creative until tekkit updates to 1.7.2. The IP is Derpsunited.minecraft.to
  8. Looking into the future of one of my favorite franchises ever, where do you think Bethesda or Obsidian should go with Fallout 4? Here's my opinion. 1) New York City: While it would be mostly urban, think about walking through some bombed out skyscrapers. A gray sky with the obelisk-like shadows of skyscrapers long abandoned by civilized humans. Also, Central Park could be a major area, you could bring back the metro system with the NY Subway, and you could have some great vertical gameplay when you think of the skyscrapers as combat zones. They could do this well, especially with next-gen technology. 2) New Orleans: you want a creepy swamp style Fallout? Did you like Point Lookout? Then maybe you would want Fallout to be in New Orleans. New Orleans could be a great misty area. with ruined buildings covered with vines and flooding with water. Think about ghouls that run at you in the night while you explore one of those areas. Bethesda could do a great, and probably scarier Fallout title if they took ti here. 3) Maine/Canada: I don't know about you, but I want to find out more about the Canadian Annex in Fallout lore. What about a game that starts in upper Maine and branches into Canada. You could see the old trenches from where the Canadians put up a final fight before being annexed. If in Maine/Canada, it could also give new meaning to "nuclear winter." 4) Hawaii: Okay, this one's a stretch. But what if Hawaii was bombed along with the rest of the US. Think in terms of ash blowing through the palm trees, a real nightmarish paradise gone to hell. Hawaii was filled with resorts in the 40's and 50's, who could say it wouldn't change in 2277? Any other ideas? Thoughts, post-apocalyptic comments? Feel free to chime in!
