  1. All things info for Call of Duty WWII:
  2. So it's finally here........ and probably copyright claimed by the archaic assholes of Nintendo Japan by now (I've already downloaded the video just in case). The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild angry review. Is it worth buying a Switch or dusting of your WiiU for? Angry Joe rides for Hyrule as Other Joe "Swtich's" gender........ again to find out!
  3. May as well just post this because let's face it... I've started my run of the Wii U version of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Why Wii U because it's the last game for the console and I want this to be a fitting end to a console that really got put under a bus. Enjoy nonetheless.
  4. 2016 has been a rather unexpected year when it comes to gaming. We’ve had good games, bad games, disappointing games and games that end up getting canned for one reason or another. Regardless, it’s time for a list and it’s not going to be an easy one. I’m not limiting this to just Nintendo games. I’m involving all sorts of games so without further ado, these are my Top 10 Games of 2016. Word of warning for everyone… if you find that a game you like isn’t on the list, you are welcome to make your own and share it. I won’t judge you and remember, the only opinion that should ever matter is your own. Let us begin. 10) Song of the Deep - PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC Kicking off the list we have Song of the Deep, developed and published by Insomniac Games. Song of the Deep is basically Metroid but in an underwater style. I will admit. This game had me intrigued because of its design and presentation. When I got to play it, it was a sight to behold. The presentation for it is incredible with the level of detail to be intense. It’s gameplay leaves a lot to be desired but it fits the world that this game is. Not to mention it’s a bit too simple and short, around 4 hours. I’ll cut some slack since the game is rather cheap and there’s replay value to back it up. This game deserves a bit more appreciation. Sure it’s not the best but for what it’s worth, it’s a soothing and satisfying experience. I recommend that you pick the game up, at least to see for yourself how good it is. It’s $10! It’s not the best but I feel that it deserves to be #10 on my list. 9) Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS - Nintendo 3DS To think that Nintendo would take a risk and bring a game like this to their best-selling handheld is a challenge onto itself. But for its shortcomings, I say that they did a good job. Mario Maker for 3DS is what it is, a port of a game that was on Wii U now fit on the handheld. Nothing more. Nothing less. The only problems I have with the game is that there’s no Amiibo functionality, you can’t play others courses or share courses online and the only way you can share them is through its Streetpass function. But despite its negatives, the game is still really fun and can even push your skills as a gamer/level creator to the test. Had this game allowed you to share courses online and play others’ from the get-go, it’d be rated higher. I recommend playing this on a New 3DS XL because, on a regular 3DS, you can experience crashes. I just want to give you a heads up. 8) Final Fantasy XV - PlayStation 4, Xbox One (PC coming soon) We waited a long time for this game. It originally was going to be part of the Fabula Nova Crystalis as Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Unfortunately, it was scrapped and then replaced with this. The wait was long but in the end is worth it. Final Fantasy XV is a great game. Its strong points are the gameplay, the open world location and the many things you can do in this said world. My problems with the game are its lackluster story and the characters. The four protagonists are fleshed out well enough but everything else feels flat. Made worse is that in order to better understand this, you need to watch stuff that’s outside the game like the film Kingsglaive and OVA Brotherhood. Other than that, I couldn’t find anything else wrong but at least Square-Enix is dedicated to making the game better while filling up story bits that should have been added. Thankfully I’m happy with that and it shows that they really want to make the game feel complete. I recommend giving this game a chance. Besides once the negatives are pushed aside, you have a game that’s very satisfying. 7) Overwatch – PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC Blizzard has a lot of balls for trying their luck in the first-person shooter genre and it paid off considerably with this game. Overwatch is just that: a first-person shooter game where you and five others can take the fight against the opposition in various modes. They range from escort/stop the payload to capturing defensive points/objectives on the map. Okay. It’s a bit small but that’s not why it’s on the list. Overwatch’s strong points are its setting and characters. No two characters are similar. Each character offers something different and that’s what makes it good. Coupled with the fact that there’s a lot to do in this game, it’s nuts. We already got two new characters, a whole bunch of new modes and events and knowing what 2017 has in store, it’s going to get better. This game is better played if you have friends because it’s all the more satisfying when you achieve victory. I ask you… are you with me? 6) Paper Mario: Color Splash – Nintendo Wii U I know what you’re thinking. Why is this game on the list? Let me explain. Sure this game uses the same style as Paper Mario: Sticker Star but that’s pretty much it. Why it’s on my list because it is a much better game. Design wise, it is awesome. It is a step up from the previous game and the theme involving paint and colors adds it in perfectly. You can tell when you travel through Prisma Island. The addition of restoring the world through paint offers something different. Using cards instead of stickers is a lot better. The humor this game has is spot on with some being very funny to listen. Color Splash offers a lot here and I say it is miles better especially since it’s released on a system that’s on its deathbed. I only wish that Nintendo could go back to its roots with the game offering what it should be, instead of this. But for what it’s worth, I say it’s a must buy. Truthfully it is a must buy and I recommend this game. Enjoying the list so far? Good because we’re now reaching the halfway point of this list. There’s no going back for us now. 5) Fire Emblem Fates – Nintendo 3DS Three years after the release of Fire Emblem: Awakening, we get a game that not only is good but offers so much. I’m talking about Fire Emblem Fates and I speak on behalf of everything the game offers. What’s different from the previous games is its branching campaigns. You play as Corrin, a young noble who was born in the kingdom of Hoshido but was raised by the kingdom of Nohr. When both kingdoms declare war on each other, you have to make a choice on whose family you would side. Should you side with Hoshido, the kingdom you were born in as your Birthright. Should you side with Nohr, the kingdom that raised you and follows the side of Conquest. Or will you choose neither side and instead work to have both kingdoms unite under one banner and learn of a Revelation that threatens all. That is what makes the game stand out. The three campaigns: Birthright, Conquest, and Revelation offer hours of gameplay and customization that can drive you nuts. Replay value here is through the roof, along with additional content via DLC drives it even further. I won’t go into too much detail but if you haven’t picked up this game, you should. I recommend trying your luck to get the Special Edition of the game, which has all 3 campaigns in one DLC. But if you are getting either Birthright or Conquest, expect to spend a lot just to get the rest. It’s why this game gets the #5 on my slot on this list. 4) Gravity Rush Remastered – PlayStation 4 In 2012, a game called Gravity Rush was released on the PlayStation Vita. It was a game that was fun, different and offered something new. Sadly not many people got to play it due to being released on a handheld that Sony never gave a damn about. Four years later, SCE Studio and Project Siren bring this game over to the PlayStation 4 and my god, it is incredible. Gravity Rush Remastered is marvelous. Seeing the game in glorious HD is jaw dropping. It's nuts! What’s even better is that it runs at a solid 60 frames per second. Flawless 60fps. It is perfect. They also refined the game’s controls making things such as sliding across the city seamless. You can use the back buttons on the PS4 controller but there’s also the option to use the DualShock 4’s motion controls so it offers some variety for players. What’s even better is that the Remastered port includes all the DLC for the game and at a price of $30, how can you say no to that? You simply can’t. This game is what made the PlayStation Vita stand out but now that it’s on a PS4, it’s the go-to game for anyone wanting this console. I highly recommend it. It is a must buy, without a doubt and it should prep anyone for the eventual release of Gravity Rush 2 coming in January. 3) Shantae: Half-Genie Hero – Nintendo Wii U, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation Vita and PC WayForward should be praised and commended for making a game like this. Not a lot of people are going to like having this as my #3 spot but this is a perfect example of a Kickstarter campaign done right, aside from Shovel Knight. Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is amazing. There is so much good to say here such as the presentation. Design-wise, it’s a step up from the previous game. 2.5D at its finest with the character models being at its absolute best. Jake Kaufman does it again with the music here and all the tracks are addicting to listen to. Very addicting. The gameplay is similar to the first two games but it’s improved and easy enough for anyone to pick up and play. Hopefully, with the upcoming DLC like Risky Boots’ campaign, Half-Genie Hero is going to be one that’s worth every penny. Show love to WayForward. Get this game now! 2) Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Spirit of Justice – Nintendo 3DS The Ace Attorney series has endured for more than 15 years with a strong and devoted following. 2013’s Dual Destinies is one a lot of people were hyped for and though nowadays is a bit mixed it was a welcome addition. Three years later, Phoenix Wright returns in full force with the sixth game in the main franchise: Spirit of Justice. Similar to the previous entries, it’s a visual novel style game where as Phoenix Wright (or any of the others like Apollo & Athena) you must investigate witnesses, find evidence and discover the truth through the courts. This time around, the story takes Phoenix to the Kingdom of Khura’in and in that country, defense attorneys are outlawed. Spirit of Justice introduces the Divination Seances where it details the last thing the victim sees before they pass on. But the truth isn’t always black and white. That’s where we come in to figure out if what the victim sees is the truth or not. Many staples that are prevalent in the previous entries return here but its biggest points are its story and music. The story is a bit dark and intense for a game like this and the music is still its shining moment. Believe me, there are some tracks that are incredible to listen to. Whereas Dual Destinies serves as a return to form for the well-respected attorney, Spirit of Justice serves as a passing of the torch for Apollo Justice, allowing him to take the spotlight he deserves. It’s reason enough why this gets the #2 spot. 1) Pokémon Sun & Moon – Nintendo 3DS Some people like the game, others didn't. To tell you the truth, I enjoyed the game. As a fan of Pokémon since Generation 1, I had a lot of expectations. They paid off when it came out. Nintendo, GameFreak & The Pokemon Company took a lot of risks in making this stand out over the previous generations. Removing some staples like Gyms, HMs seems crazy when you think about it. However, when I got to play it for myself, I can say is wow… they nailed it. The game does hold your hand a lot at times but you do get the chance to explore at your leisure. The Island Challenges are interesting and provide something different instead of going to a gym and earning a badge. It’s emphasized a lot and I like it personally. Z-Moves are also cool and how they look is amazing. But if I were to net any nitpicks, it’s the story. That leaves a lot to be desired. I wish it can improve but at least the game is still the way you remember it. Pokemon Sun & Moon may not be for everyone but for those that put the time into it, it’s a pretty awesome game. I recommend it and yes, it’s one that I feel should be #1 on my list. Honorable Mentions: Azure Striker Gunvolt 2, Pokken Tournament, Yo-Kai Watch 2 Bony Spirits & Fleshy Souls, Ratchet & Clank PS4, Kirby: Planet Robobot That’s pretty much it for this list. Remember, my list is 100% opinionated and you are welcome to disagree with me. If you guys have a list of your own Top 10s or if you feel that a game you played should be on the list, let me know in the comments. I look forward to hearing from everyone.
  5. I know that Angry Joe is a fan of Ace Attorney and the game is officially out so... why not. I started covering this game so I hope everyone enjoys it. With a game like this, I upload a lot and I make sure to get it all done. I will do that. We begin with Case 1: The Foreign Turnabout. More will come tomorrow. That I promise.
  6. Since I know that Angry Joe is a fan of Ace Attorney, I figure why not post a video of it. Here's Demo Gameplay of the first case, The Foreign Turnabout.
  7. I'm feeling miserable today. I'm sorry for my absence in the forums, but I need to get somethings off my chest. And the thing I have to get off my chest, mainly regards to a certain "sector" of YouTube. Before I was enlisted in the Angry Army, I had encountered several YouTubers who were literally trying to start fights with other YouTubers, threaten their lives, expose each other's real lives, dox each other, insult each other in closed doors, troll each other and throw each others children, families, spouses, and friends under the bus. And the sector where that occurs the most is the place I will now call the "Ride to Hell: Retribution" Sector of YouTube. Or as they prefer to call themselves, the Black Sector of YouTube. Back in 2013 or so, I was researching an incident regarding a bus driver and an out of control passenger in Cincinnati, Ohio and it was that one event that introduced me to the most funniest newscaster on YouTube, Tommy Sotomayor. He even did some skits as a sheriff, a Steve Erwin-parody, and even a white newscaster while covering the stories that centered mainly on black men and children being tortured and killed by the hoodrats and hoodwolves he loathes to be around. While he commonly makes his coverage as humorous as he can, he was also trying to present a serious message and trying to get black men and women to shun all hoodrats and the hoodwolves that love them. But his opposition was willing to pull some extremely dirty deeds all while roasting him at the same time just for somethings simple as likes and views on YouTube. Fast forwarding to August of 2015, I was beginning to have very serious doubts about my dreams and what I wanted to do when I got out of college. Because of my doubts and depression, I had knowingly fallen into the trap of watching the videos made by the Ride to Hell Sector of YouTube. And the worst part of it is that I actually thought that the roasts they made to each other was rather funny. As 2015 came and gone and 2016 arrived, I was hooked on the fuckery being spewed from that cesspool and it was on the May of that year, when I realized that all they do to each other is destroy each others lives or make their lives even worse. That was mainly because the majority of their audience, and in most cases all of them, were actually trolls who were egging on these internet fights and even causing those who were in a great or good relationship with each other to start fighting with each other. And during the Summer I was like "Enough is enough" and immediately started cutting ties with almost everyone in the Ride to Hell Sector. But the ultimate realization came when a troll caused two content creating YouTubers to start disliking each other. But, that wasn't even the last straw. The last straw came when the Ride to Hell Sector trolls caused a content creating YouTuber to start blocking people just for being in his stalker's chatrooms, all because he was beginning to assume that everyone in that sector was trolling him. And to be honest, I don't blame him for his new "take no prisoners" policies, when in reality I blame the ones that were deliberately agitating him on a daily basis and causing his life to be a living hell that forced him to establish those rules. When those rules were put into place I was like "I am done, I will never patronize that sector again." And the worst part about all this, the worst part about all this, is when they call each other offensive racial and sexual slurs, call each other gay, and even make homosexual and/or monkey references towards each other. Now I'm beginning to assume that if the ones in the Ride to Hell Sector was harassing him just to get views, they were going to it to other content creators too. So I am creating this post to warn everyone in the Angry Army to stay away from that Ride to Hell Sector of YouTube. They are only there to destroy the lives of each other along with their audience. I am cautionary tale of the sector and I no longer want ANYTHING to do with them. I don't want to anyone to be posting so-and-so said this about so-and-so, so-and-so made a comment saying that on so-and-so's video or page, so-and-so just made a video talking about so-and-so, so-and-so is live right now talking about so-and-so, so-and-so is this, so-and-so is that, so-and-so's kids are this, so-and-so's momma is that, or so-and-so is licking white folk's a$$cracks clean. I AM SICK AND TIRED OF HAVING TO READ THESE TYPE OF COMMENTS. Now whatever you do from this point forward, STAY AWAY FROM THE RIDE TO HELL SECTOR OF YOUTUBE! THE ONES WHO ASSOCIATE THEMSELVES WITH THIS SECTOR ARE THE MOST RACIST, HOMOPHOBIC, JUVENILE AND DESTRUCTIVE PEOPLE ON EARTH! I, as of this date, officially hate YouTube drama channels because all they do is dumb their audiences down just to make a quick buck. I think I'm going to take a break from YouTube for the rest of 2016 and focus on graduating from college and working on Visions of An Ancestry instead. I did not want to turn my cautionary tale into a rant and I apologize in advance to those who would take offense to a post like this, but I had to get something off of my chest. Please let me know what you think about my experiences, leave a like if you agree with my stance on YouTube Drama and the Ride to Hell Sector and even share your own experiences. Until then, I'll see you around eventually since my internet keeps powering up and shutting down every few minutes.
  8. http://store.steampowered.com/app/285190/ Here it is, people of the Angry Army! New Dawn of War has just been announced and they have brought Imperial Knights and Wraithknights with them
  9. Special thanks to Insomniac Games for providing me a copy of this and I am so excited to play through. I truly am. This game may not be for everyone but truthfully, the opinion that should really matter is your own. You decide for yourself if the game is worth your true. Maybe after seeing my playthrough of it, we'll see.
  10. What do you guys think are the Best, Worst and Most Disappointing Games of 2015? I've always wanted to ask and knowing that Joe will have his Top 10s coming, he'll probably have a lot so why don't we discuss. For me... and there are games I know are GOTY that I haven't played yet. Best Games of 2015: Witcher 3, MGSV TPP, Fallout 4, Majora's Mask 3D, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Bloodborne, Worst Games of 2015: Godzilla (no surprise), Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 Most Disappointing Games of 2015: Batman Arkham Knight, Star Wars Battlefront, Battlefield Hardline I want to hear what you guys think.
  11. Apologies. I got money from relatives for my B-day today, had enough left over to pre-order Fallout 4. I'm just really exited and felt the need to vent. Sorry if this is against rules or anything.
  12. These two are popular MMORPGS, and it's probably not right to compare them, I don't know, but what would you say is the better MMORPG, mine would be Guild Wars
  13. INCOMING ANGRY RANT So I decided to come back to Destiny after a while, and made a new character. Everything was fine and dandy until I decided to patrol earth at level four. In the basement of Dock 13 there was a new mob called the Queenbreaker Captain. I noted the ??? on his level square, and decided to bugger off and come back with my level 25 hunter. I discovered then that he was immune to any damage and could instant kill in one hit. So I did some research. He's a bounty for the House of Wolves players. Alright, that's cool, I could go into a rant about how fucking stupid it is that Bungie is splitting off their story into paid DLC, but I'm sure we all already know that, so I'll get to the point. What the actual fuck, Bungie. You're going to purposely make it impossible for people who don't buy your stupid ass DLC to do patrol missions in that room? You're going to make this guy invincible for everyone who doesn't shell out an extra fucking twenty dollars for your shitty-ass money-bait DLC? Why not, I don't know, have him not fucking spawn for people who don't own it? There's an idea! But no, let's have him fucking spawn and be invincible to actively punish people who don't spend even more money on what was, when I bought it, a SIXTY DOLLAR GAME. As time goes on, I regret buying Destiny more and more. The game gets shittier and shittier every DLC pack. Oh, you want a fixed loot system? Twenty dollars for The Dark Below, please. You want to be able to do patrol missions on earth without getting killed in a single hit by an invincible miniboss? Twenty more dollars for The House of Wolves, please. Let's see, that's one hundred dollars total. Would you like some condoms? We want to be safe while we're fucking you in the ass, of course! At this point, I've lost all trust for Bungie. Their handling of Destiny has been atrocious. I will likely never buy another product from them again. /end rant

  15. Last year, I did a Top 5 of the Best Nintendo Games of 2013. Now that 2014 is behind us, it’s time we take it up a notch. Since Angry Joe already did a Top 10 Best Games of 2014 based on his experiences, here’s mine and it involves Nintendo. These are the Top 10 Best Nintendo Games of 2014. There’s only one rule here and it’s one game per franchise. Not only that but it can also involve games released on the eShop too. I figure it would be best because well, there are so many games released by Nintendo this year that it’s insane. I really mean that. I’ve played a lot of them. 2014 was Nintendo’s year, hands down. Some were good and others were not so let’s get this show on the road. 10) Azure Striker Gunvolt – Nintendo 3DS We start off the list with a game that has a Mega Man X vibe. It feels like a Mega Man X game but it isn’t. Why? Simple. The gameplay. Sure you can jump, shoot and dash but when you shoot enemies, you tag them and you need to use Gunvolt’s ability to blast them with electricity. Not only is it useful against enemies but it also has other effects such as slowing down your descent, solving puzzles, etc. The story is a bit engaging unfortunately the overseas version took out most of what made it great such as the dialogue and story. It’s a shame really because if they didn’t do that, this would have been more rewarding. But regardless you do get a good game that won’t disappoint. At only $15, you can’t go wrong. The replay value for it is high as you can go back to some levels and try getting a high score. They can net you items, which can help you customize Gunvolt however you like. He also has special skills that can turn the tide of battle. Is it safe to say that it’s similar to the X series? I think that’s the gist of it. But regardless, this game is fun and can really keep you busy for a little while. Rating: 8 out of 10 9) Shantae & The Pirate’s Curse – Nintendo 3DS/Wii U It’s sad that some franchises don’t get much appreciation nowadays. Shantae is a prime example of that and I have to say that it is very good. The latest game of the series takes place after Risky’s Revenge. Now full human, Shantae has to deal with a new evil, the Pirate Master. Risky approaches Shantae and asks for her help in defeating him before he brings despair to all of Sequin Land and its inhabitants. Knowing the risks despite not having genie powers, Shantae teams up with Risky to stop him. This game is ridiculously fun. The gameplay is good and WayForward did a great job making each island seem unique. Of course they decide to take a Metroidvania style route giving players the incentive to look high and low for hidden areas and secrets. Not that it's a bad thing mind you but it just adds more to an otherwise great game. Replay value is very high and its great for people that love to speed run too. You do get rewarded with sweet stuff that makes you want to go at it one more time. For $20, how can you say no? With Half-Genie Hero in development, I know that Shantae has a bright future ahead for sure. Rating: 9 out of 10 8) Mario Kart 8 – Nintendo Wii U What is there to say about Mario Kart? It’s one of Nintendo’s many franchises and it has been around for more than two decades. Now we reach the 8th game and boy did they really deliver. The gameplay is the same as previous games but they also added new features such as Zero Gravity and new items such as the Super Horn, a counter to the threatening Blue Shell, the Boomerang Flower that gives you 3 uses and the Piranha Plant that provides boost while chomping on other opposition. You can’t forget the courses. We get new ones along with some familiar that get the HD treatment. Not only do you have 4-player offline but online with up to 12 players. It’s insane, chaotic and all good fun. You’re probably wondering why this game is so low on the list. The answer’s simple. There are some flaws. For starters, the online battle mode. It’s completely bad and they butchered it severely with some tracks used as battle areas. It ain’t that interesting. Also the online can be problematic because one minute you’re playing a game & the next, you get kicked out. It sucks but a fault that I see it as an inconvenience. Fortunately the game is still fun to play. Oh and there’s a lot of replay value with multiple difficulties and there’s even DLC. I’m not talking about what you normally see with some games. This is DLC done right and it provides you a lot of bonuses and with the release of the Amiibos, they add even more to the game that is worth your purchase. I highly recommend it. Rating: 8 out of 10 7) Shovel Knight – Nintendo 3DS/Wii U and PC (Soon PS4) 2014 should just be referred to as the Year of the Indies. Yacht Club Games should be praised, no, they should be honored for making an amazing indie game. But you’re wondering why I’m adding this on the list cause its no longer console exclusive? Simple. It’s that fun. I love Shovel Knight. It is a love letter to 8-bit games while providing something new, something crisp and something different. There are so many things I like about the game that trying to explain it in this list won’t do it justice. At only $15, it’s a steal. You play as Shovel Knight as you venture through various locations, defeating the forces and minions of the Evil Enchantress. Along the way you acquire items and upgrades that can help give him many advantages. The graphics are nostalgic and the music is simply addicting. I can’t say it enough. Trust me. There’s replay value in this game and I can always boot it up and play it any day. Although it’s on the list, I do want to say that with the announcement of the game going to the PS4, it isn’t going to be Nintendo exclusive. But will it hinder you from enjoying a great experience? Absolutely not! It’s a must buy and I can’t even say it enough. What are you waiting for? GET IT NOW! Rating: 9 out of 10 6) Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze – Nintendo Wii U Retro Studios has always delivered when it comes to Nintendo games such as the Metroid Prime trilogy and their Donkey Kong Country Returns series. Their first game was great but hard at the same time. Hell it even got a port on the 3DS. Sure it added some new stuff like New Mode and several helpful items but it’s still tough and will provide you a challenge. Then there was a sequel… and it took everyone by surprise and I love it. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze centers on the Kong family trying to save their home from the Snowmad tribe who claim the island for their own. Now they must trek through six islands all while battling many minions, as they must reach DK Island to send the Snowmad tribe packing. The gameplay is still the same as the last but you have two new characters that join you: Dixie Kong who can help you reach higher places and Cranky Kong whose cane can help you bypass dangerous obstacles. The graphics are beautiful to look at, the music for each island provides variety and the challenge is just as high as the last game. Only difference is that it isn’t giving you an easy way out. It really isn’t. You really got to buckle down and give it your all because there is no mercy. When you mess up like falling into a bottomless pit, it’s your fault. Sure there are six worlds but they make up for it with sections that push your skills to the test. There are also secrets and they require you to look high and low. The result is worth it. I mean it. It is a must buy game that provides challenge and a whole lot of satisfaction. Think you can try your luck getting 200% in the game? Good luck. You’ll need it. Rating: 9 out of 10 5) Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Nintendo 3DS What do you get when you take an archaeologist that loves to solve puzzles and a defense attorney that always finds a way to get their clients’ innocence? You get this game. Layton vs. Ace Attorney is a crossover game that takes both franchises and put them together to have an epic adventure. It centers on the world of Labyrinthia as Layton, Wright and their allies try to discover the secret behind the town. The game takes elements from both games and uses them real well. You have your puzzle solving as well as investigation but the big thing are the trials. Since it centers on witch trials, you’ll have to rely on your wits and finding if the witnesses are hiding anything. Traditional Ace Attorney at its finest although some bits will give you a hard time. If I had any complaints with the game, it’s that the game is more Layton than Ace Attorney. Sure I don’t mind it but it wouldn’t hurt to have a balance. But regardless of this, the game is really fun and the added content is a delight. Take it from me. I played the whole game from start to finish and it was a blast. Rating: 8 out of 10 4) Bravely Default – Nintendo 3DS RPGs and handhelds work hand in hand and that’s a fact. Nintendo’s handhelds have had a fair share of successful role-playing games that will make you spend hours playing. But then comes a game called Bravely Default and it is by far one of the best RPG games around. I am not kidding. It centers on four protagonists: Tiz, Agnes, Edea and Ringabel as they must bring light to four crystals in the world of Luxendarc unaware that their actions may bring about the end of all reality. The game is a successor to Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light, having a battle system focusing on the job system from previous Final Fantasy games. One of the main draws is like its name implies. You can either Default and not attack to stock BP or go Brave and attack. But stuff like that come with a price so how you use it is crucial. As for the job system, its similar to Final Fantasy V but has more customization providing a whole lot of possibilities. Trying to explain everything about the game will take forever. So many things I like about the game, it’s crazy. And with the sequel coming this year, the excitement for it has never been this high. I recommend this game if you are a fan of RPG games. You’ll like it. Rating: 9 out of 10 All right… now before I reveal the top 3, I do want to say that this is the most difficult I’ve ever planned. Why? Because these three games are really good and I’ve spent a lot of time with them. I don’t know if this will do anyone justice but remember that it’s my list. You guys are welcome to disagree with me so let’s do it! 3) Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire – Nintendo 3DS You guys wondering why the heck it’s at #3 instead of any higher right? I did enjoy this game and I know many of you will have it at either #2 or #1. But anyway, the hype for this went through the roof. The instant it was first announced, people went nuts. When the game arrived, it delivered. Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are remakes but they are excellent remakes. I love the remakes a lot and they blow Pokemon X & Y out of the water. The game can be easy or hard depending on how you play. Not only that but the post-game provides a lot of extra content and it gives you a huge incentive to complete the Pokedex and give it your all against other trainers. Did I forget to mention Episode Delta? Yeah, that’s included too and it really adds more to the game. What can I say? It’s an amazing remake and I love it a lot! I don’t have any complaints but it was really hard deciding what to choose for the top 3. Either way, you’ll like it. Trust me. Rating: 9 out of 10 Now comes the next one and like I said, very difficult decision to make but I hope that you guys will like it. 2) Bayonetta 2 – Nintendo Wii U What is there to say about Bayonetta 2 that hasn’t already been said? It is one of the best Wii U games to date. Sure there was controversy in regards to its exclusivity but when you think about it, it makes a lot of sense. If it weren’t for Nintendo, we wouldn’t get Bayonetta 2. Speaking of which, I love everything about this game. It takes everything that the first game had and makes it ten times better. The graphics are amazing, the gameplay is top-notch, and the music is simply addicting and catchy. Moon River Climax Mix and Tomorrow is Mine are music you will love to listen to. Believe me, I know. Oh yeah, speaking of gameplay, the Witch Time is a system you’ll love to use. Not only does it make battles intense but it also gives you an advantage if you want to deliver the beating. Umbran Climax is also entertaining as like Devil Trigger, you get major enhancements. There’s also replay value up the butt with multiple difficulties, online co-op, additional costumes and even the first original Bayonetta. People who got it via physical copy can get the original Bayonetta for free. It’s a steal I mean it. It is one of the best games ever and it makes me wish that it got Game of the Year status instead of Dragon Age Inquisition. If you have a Wii U but not this game, get it… NOW! You will NOT regret it. Rating: 10 out of 10 LEGENDARY And now comes the moment you’re waiting for… 1) Super Smash Bros. 4 – Nintendo 3DS and Wii U This here is obviously a no-brainer why my top game of this year is. But why am I including both 3DS and Wii U versions on it when its one game per franchise. Even though both are the same game, they each provide something that the other doesn’t. Both games do provide you great online play, character customization and over 50 characters to choose from. That’s where the similarities end. But like I said, both games each provide something different. For the 3DS version, it’s Smash Bros. on the go and I love it! Smash Run is exclusive to it and it is a lot of fun. Not only that but for a game like this on the handheld, it’s well done. The only complaint is that for multiplayer, everyone should have their own 3DS. A minor nitpick but what can you do. The Wii U version though… it blows the 3DS version out of the water in terms of graphics, features and everything. There’s so much content here that its crazy. The best part about it is you can have up to 8-player Smash. That’s just INSANE! But when you have a group of friends together for it, it’s all the more rewarding. Smash Wii U also has online and it’s very good. I should also mention about Smash Tour. It’s like Mario Party but it doesn’t seem as good. I don’t know why although it does have some good single-player modes like Event matches. Oh and you can do co-op in both Classic and All-Star mode. That is really awesome. You know, I’m beating a dead horse here on this so let me just sum it up. Super Smash Bros. for both 3DS and Wii U is my top pick as Nintendo Game of 2014. Whether it’s on the go on a handheld or with friends near a Wii U, you will have a hell of a good time. It’s the must buy to anyone who owns a 3DS or Wii U. I mean it. Without a doubt! Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U is my pick for Best Nintendo Game of 2014! Rating: 10 out of 10 LEGENDARY There you go. These are my Top 10 Best Nintendo Games of 2014. If you have any that you feel should be on the list, let me know.

  17. Well another year has come by and there have been some bad games this year, I'm looking at you Rambo, now in all honesty I haven't played any bad games this year as I don't get many games thats been released in the same year, but still I'm curious on what you think was the absolute worst game that has come out this year. And if you want to say was the best game of the year was click here http://angryjoeshow.com/ajsa/topic/25492-best-game-of-2014/
  18. So 2014 is about to end and 2015 is around the corner, and I'm sad to say that there might not be self-lacing shoes, flying cars, or hoverboards, but we can look forward to some new games that are coming out next year like Zelda WiiU, but out of all the game you have played this year, what did you think is the best, for me it would be Dark Souls II, even if the community seems to dislike it compared to Dark Souls I.

  20. Hey guys Lord again with a question for you all: What event would u like to play in next? Currently looking for ideas/feedback from the comuntiy as to what u guys would like to play in for my next hosted event. Currently got some ideas and had some votes/feedback already from the facebook page but need more lol. So now to the thinking stage for our next planned event... A 1v1 Knock out event (weekend event, all ranks welcome from bronze 5 to gold 1) A new 1v1 league (spanning a couple of months and open to all ranks from bronze 5 to gold 1) A 2v2 weekend event (Spilt into 3 groups, base on elo, so 1 gold group, 1 sliver group and 1 bronze group) A 3v3 weekend event (same as the 2v2) A 1v1 4 groups of 4 open event bronze 5 - gold 1 (weekend event) High Tier 1v1 weekender (open to gold 5 - diamond 1 players, will be based on 100cs, first blood, first tower format) ------------------------ Atm from our facebook page it is looking like our next event will be the 2v2 event (which currently has 7 votes towards it compared to 1 vote each for two other events) If 2v2 is the final vote then here is what i have currently planned out: The 2v2 event will be spilt into 3 Ranked groups, Bronze, Sliver and gold and will be league/point based system per group. However if say a gold player wanted to duo with a sliver or bronze player then that would be allowed BUT u would still be placed in the gold group reguardless of the fact ur duoing with someone weaker than gold ranked, its a handicap which u have decided to do to urself. Same also goes for Sliver level players wanting to duo with bronzes, they will STILL be placed in the Sliver group reguardless. Games will be to destory the nexus to win, and will be done in Blind Pick game mode. Map will be Twisted Treeline. I have not yet decided on a date for this event or if it will be a week long thing or just a weekend long deal, will update you all on that in a future update. So yeah lets have some talking about this, are u guys ok with the currently most popular idea of a 2v2 event? or would u perfer something else? let me know here ^^.
  21. Being a Gamer. What does that mean. Most of you will ask yourselves the easy Q's first with simple things like " It's be a good sport in games even if you lost." "Being the best in video games then your buddys at school." To kickass and take names." No, none of that. Being a Gamer is going to be a serious about Gamer's philosophy of/on games. Like what they like in a game and why they like it in the first place. Now this is going to be my own observations of games, Gamers, and media of games. To see what makes them tick. To see if the is a way to view the people. Who want a game that is what they want but can not play because there is no market for it, they made it in a why that you don't like it, or that it was made but you cant play it anymore of a number of reasons. I know the feeling of all those and it sucks. But, if this works out I can see games in the eyes of someone else and learn why the do as such. As for me I love games of all types. MMO, RPG, FPS, Fantasy, and so on. But those are still my views, not the person on the other end of the planet. So I'm going to need help form all of you in the AJSA. I don't care if you are new to the site (I'v be hear a week an 1/2) or a vet. I will not chose based on what your place is on the site. I will treat you if you were Joe himself (not like i know how that is) even if you joined today and are reading this. So to Start with... I'm going to let you decide. I'm going to wait a while for this to go up, get notice by people who are interested. So you can do what ever you want with this topic. Comment let me hear what you think or pass it around see what others think. That is it. So laterz and as always have fun. Love Motta, Abraham

  25. What do you guys think of his review on The Last of Us Remastered? We came back to its roots where Joe scored a 10/10 Legendary on his game, and I will hope that this will be number 1 on Top 10 Games of 2014 list after GTA V.
