  1. Hey everybody! I joined up because I like watching Joe's videos but I'm also realizing that lots of my real-life friends don't play many games online (or at all) so the reason for this thread is to increase my friends list and get a good team going for certain games. I just build my first gaming PC so that is my platform of choice but I also play my 3DS, PS3, and Xbox 360 (least often of all). Here's my build BTW: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/4C99pg Anyway, if anyone would like to team up or pvp feel free to add me or message me. Currently I am hopping around my steam library however I do want a solid team for BF or Guns of Icarus Online Steam- 1Sam1G PS3- hoesntricks Xbox360- BuLLeTz89

  3. Since the new Dragon Age game has multiplayer, it'd be a way for the AJSA to find each other for games.

  5. What is Dawngate? Dawngate is a new Multiplayer Online Battle Arena or MOBA (though you probably wouldn't be here if you didn't know that already) In which two teams of 5 players do battle to destroy each other's Guardian. Features Dawngate's current map has 2 lanes seperated by a jungle, with the epic monster, "The Parasite," located directly in the center. There are also jungles on the outsides of the lanes that house 4 resource generators called "Spirit Wells" total (1 for each team on each side of the map to start with). These wells have minions that gather "Vim," Dawngate's currency for the controlling team. An oposing team member can kill these minions to slow the currency flow or capture it, gaining control of it and locking it down for a certain period of time. There are 3 turrets or "bindings" in each lane for each team. Once all of the bindings are destroyed in one or both lanes, players may begin attacking the opposing team's Guardian. The guardian has a significant amount of health with an array of telegraphed skillshot abilities to combat the attacking players. however there are also 5 smaller structures circling it. Each one destroyed lowers the Guardian's health and restrics its use of a particular attack. In the pre-game lobby, players can choose one of four roles that determines how that player primarily earns Vim. These roles are: Guardian (typically for carries): You gain 200% increased Vim for scoring a killing blow on a minion. Melee Shapers will store 50% of the total Vim a nearby minion is worth if they fail to kill it. On the next minion kill you will gain any stored bonus Vim up to a maximum of 3 stacks Tactician (typically for support): The amount of Vim gained for being near lane minions when they die is increased to 200% of normal. You gain bonus Vim when you damage an enemy shaper (20 Vim for ranged attacks and 40 Vim for melee attacks). This effect has a 5 second cooldown. Hunter (typically for junglers): You do 10% more damage to jungle creatures. When you kill a jungle creature, you will heal for 2.5% of the creature's maximum Health. When you kill a jungle creature there is a 25% chance you will gain 30 bonus vim. Predator (typically for laners/roamers): The Vim gained for killing an enemy shaper is increased to 150% of normal. The Vim gained for assists against an enemy shaper is increased to 200% of normal. The experience gained for a kill or assist on an enemy shaper is increased to 130% of normal. The Vim gained for killing spirit well workers is increased to 200% of normal. There is also an out-of-game "loadout" feature that I can only compare to League of Legends' rune pages. but it's very different. I'll just let the devs explain it:
  6. What do you think of EAs attempt at Steam?
  7. I have little doubt the Xbox One guys will have few problems with the servers as they're Microsoft ran and are relatively reliable. However, I'm aware the PC guys are playing on Origin servers which have a slight (by slight I mean huuuuggggeee) reputation for being sh*t. How are they holding up? Is it worth getting on day one? (I'm EUR) If both answers are yes, I'll be playing the whole of Friday and weekend CET, so ping me for team ups because I sure as hell am ready for Titanfall! Let the games begin

It has been a pleasure getting to know you all! If you want to come join me on Titanfall, come join the teamspeak server and lets play it up! Origin name: storminn0rm4n Just shoot me a friend request and lets play us some Titanfall
  10. Just in case you haven't heard by now, Titanfall beta is open to EVERYONE who registered BEFORE Saturday 15th 4pm PST. I had a small panic where I realised I registered with the wrong email - my old account - but fortunately that account is still active. Add RockJake28_2 if youre on this 6pm CET onwards!
  11. So the weirdest thing happened to me last night. I was playing on a pistols only server on BF4 and got like 30,000 points so I was super happy. I got like 2 medals and a domination service star but when the game was over and I left it didn't count ANY of the points. The weird thing is that they still gave me the level 40 battlepack but according to their servers I am still a level 39. But the kicker is the medals counted without giving me points so I have to get 50 more ribbons to get another medal -.- it's pretty weird. Anyways, has anybody had this issue and found a fix? Its annoying to spend like 30 minutes in a game and have it not count. Post any weird BF4 glitches down below for the lulz.
  12. Hey everybody! I'm kind of lonely when it comes to PC gaming because all of my friends game on consoles, so i'd like to ask the Angry Army to help me out. If you guys want, feel free to add me on Origin or Battlelog (still new to this whole scene) and we should play some BF4 together! I probably won't have a mic until around Christmas time because i'm waiting for the post Christmas blow out sales haha. So, if any of you fine gentlemen or gentleladies would like to play with me add me! Origin ID: HailedFanatic Thanks again!
  13. Hello all! Shaun, here, saw a previous thread by johnnythehero about giving away a copy of Garry's Mod since he got it on Humble Bundle; So I just got an idea to create this thread where members can post offers to other members without creating a dozen threads for specific giveaways/free games/cd-keys/etc since alot of us have games from Humble Bundles, sales, or just old cd-keys lying around that fell into misuse. Guidelines (give feedback if possible) 1. DO NOT POST CD-KEYs/GIFT LINKS HERE - Instead, send it through PMs 2. First come, first serve - the first 'bidder' that calls out on the offer gets the offer. 3. Be cool - don't call out on every, single, offer, thanks 4. Quote your Offerer - This way if there are more than two offers of the same game, nobody is confused. 5. Refresh! - Cos I will post offers in OP and other stuff. I'll start! I have a bunch of old humble bundles games, making it rain~~~ OFFERS MOVED TO STEAM GAMES AND GIFTING THREAD. REFER TO EDIT. SORRY~~~ Happy Holidays, Shaun EDIT: Ahhh dang it, looks like I'm not that original, somehow overlooked this This. Moving all of my offers there! Sorry mods! Please lock/delete :S
  14. Hi All I'm not sure how many other people have this issue however I thought i'd post my finding here (sorry if its been covered by someone already)... I'm in NZ and generally get bad DL speeds when using Origin - between 500kbps-600kbps. I did some searching and found a fix that puts Origin into "R&D" mode which has allowed me to download Origin updates for BF at full line rate. For me thats about 5MB/s up from 500kb/s. Link: http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Origin Fix is labeled "Origin stops downloading every time it hits a 500-1000MB threshold" Not sure if many others are having the same problem downloading updates/China Rising as I was but I hope this helps someone
  15. EA's Origin is giving players the option to vote on which game they want for $1 on Black Friday. The choices are Fifa Soccer 2012, Sims Pets, and Battlefield: Bad Company 2. I'm picking Battlefield: Bad Company 2. If it goes on sale for $1, I hope we can all play some Bad Company together. https://www.origin.com
  16. I can't afford to spend $60 for Battlefield 4. Anybody wanna work together in a squad and play some Battlefield 3? My EA Battlelog is on my profile. Just so you know, I got the game back in June and I'm still learning how to play.
  17. "Ys Origin is a Japanese action role-playing game developed and published by Nihon Falcom for Microsoft Windows in 2006." (Wikipedia, November 2013) I've played this RPG for 45 hours on the hardest of the 5 difficulties (nightmare, hard, normal, easy, very easy) with "Hugo" (1 of 3 characters) and completed it by level 52. I found the story to be a run-of-the-mill "good guy wants power, turns evil temporarily, and repents through the power of friendship/love". I'm generally not the type of guy to delve into, and enjoy, the story of a game very much anyways, so I didn't mind it. In fact, considering that I look for "great gameplay" in games, and what type of gameplay I'll tend to go for, I would practically expect a story to be "the usual" in a game (not to say I haven't enjoyed original stories). I don't know how the story goes with the other 2 characters, since I haven't played them yet. This game, played with a top-down camera angle, plays kinda like a shooter when Hugo is the chosen character, as his attacks revolve around shooting magic missiles straight ahead of him. After a quick test run, the other 2 characters appear to revolve around close-range melee combat. On the hardest difficulty level, the bosses offer such a challenge that you'll find yourself grinding a lot, just to gain that extra level or two and be able to defeat the boss at all (and even then, your battle strategy better be near perfect). This game has some simple puzzle-solving, if you can even call it that. You'll find yourself having to press buttons, defeat certain enemies, obtain and use items/skills, and so on. I did enjoy the challenging gameplay, but it would get frustrating at times with bosses, and also 1 time with a certain enemy that can practically insta-kill you (but that you'll still have to deal with). The only thing to do there is keep looking around for equipment and the like, and grind in special spots to gain levels. If you want to know how nice the graphics look, just "You-Google-Tube" some gameplay footage on the game. And while you're at it, check out the soundtrack for it as well. It's pretty awesome. As of this post, the game is $19.99 USD on Steam and I'd say it's worth the price if you love to spend many hours on a challenging "battle-grind" RPG. If it turns-out that you love the game, then you may also love "Ys: The Oath in Felghana", which follows a similar gaming style. You may want to avoid Ys I & II though, which has your main attack revolve around ramming into enemies (like in Hydlide), which ruins any sense of "gameplay" (at least in my opinion). Feel free to give your own thoughts on the game or the game series.
  18. CheapShark is a website that allows you to look at the greatest deals for multiple online game stores. Ranging from Steam and Origin, to GameStop's online store, and Amazon, to GOG. It shows great deals and is useful if your looking for a certain game on sale and want to find the best price. http://www.cheapshark.com/
  19. Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening/Night/Ungodly early morning AJSA, I suppose I kinda consider myself a bit of a Vagabond at the time being, straying between a few communities that see to just wilt or go in a direction is dislike, but that won't stop me trying to see if the AJSA could be that place! Gaming wise, I'm typically a pc gaming with a vast Warcraft Addiction (Doesn't help when an expansion announcement is on the horizon, oh my) but when I'm not raiding, I typically find myself playing a handful of old and slightly old-schooly games - most notably stuff like good old doom, anything command and conquer/dawn of war related, but also a bit of PSO blue burst on the side (Incidentally, if anyone plays on the schtserv server for this, you'd get along immensely well with me). But for the most part, 'Ello 'Ello...Now its time for me to start looking around and seeing what's happening!
  20. Which is a better gamming platform Steam or Origin For me its Steam, cause they always put any games on sale at anytime
