  1. Overwatch just got a new hero and I'm just sitting here wondering if anyone here still plays it? I remember when it came out there wasn't all that much buzz about it because of the unanimous "it's blizzard, therefore bad" stance. I dunno, I have like 295 hrs into it and it's one of the things I play most, but I was looking for a few other people to group with to quick play in so I can play Moira... I'm a support main, (50 hrs into Ana) so I really need to play the New hero... A lot of dps players are flocking to her because of videos like McCreamy's Moira Meta and it's frustrating. (and no, I don't want to play on no limits with 6v6 moiras) Anyways Flea#11579 if you're interested.
  2. <Introduction> Hello Diehard here bringing you a small Smite update post. In short not much has changed. But there have been some quite major announcements on Hirez's end. One example being in particular being that Smite is coming to Playstation4. So expect that very soon. Then to sum up the introduction. I just want to thank you guys for coming online during the events. Thanks to you we have had a number of players coming on on Sundays. I have not seen numbers like this for months. So thank you for that. Makes me feel like I'm doing something right. Now I'll leave you with the other news that is as follows. <Current Events> The current smite version is called the Victory Lap click to be linked to the patch notes Little late but the SWC (Smite World Championships) is now over. Epsilon esports the EU 20 wins to 1 loss in the Fall Split. Defeated the infamous team, Cloud 9 G2A, in the semi-finals. This then lead to them ripping apart Enemy in the finals. Winning the game 3:0. <Upcoming Events> With season three's release we finally Xbox getting the patch. Very soon Xbox will also be able to experience the fun that is the death of supports. Just kidding. But they've nerfed support items again, because solo is too strong. Also coming soon. PS4 Smite is in early Alpha. With the success of Xbox Smite. I expect the game to do well there. I'm also sure that the AJSA will be getting involved on that platform as well.   3. <Introduction> Okay so as the topic title shows this is an update for the months of January and February 2016. Starting with the introduction of yours truly... Hi I'm Diehard. The new Smite leader for the PC division of smite in the AJSA. Now it may feel as though it was only yesterday when VonRyan stepped up to become leader. Well in all honesty it wasn't that long ago so you would have the correct feeling. I am taking over now because Von decided that he did not want to run the game as he felt it was a bit too much work for little reward as the PC community has been falling of the past 11 months. So that's where I have come in. I have been apart of the AJSA Smite group for about a year and a half. I started when LordMagus was in charge coming in from the Smite Beta I was a mere level 20. After some time Agosparti took control and Magus dropped out. Sparti did a great job revitalising the Smite section as it had started to die there aswell. During the last 11 months of him being in charge I was promoted to a Smite Sargent and then quickly to one of the Officers. When Agosparti left I became 2nd in command beside VonRyan who had been playing the game with the community for a little longer than me. So after he left I decided that I would take up the reigns instead of letting this community fall. This is where you guys come in. I need your help in making this section of the AJSA large again. After Planetside2 left we have had limited people playing on events for many games. So if you have ever played Smite and were taking a break. Like I have done. Come give it a go again a lot has changed. Also if you have never played the game then please feel free to come along it's a game for everybody casual or hardcore. It has a wide range of Playable Gods from different Pantheons in history.   5. Who else agrees that they should give us an option to take the volatiles away from the minimap at night? I was hoping for intense and scary nights in Dying Light, but the damn minimap with the volatiles vision cones and all that makes it not scary at all! You don't have to be carefull because you just have to look at the minimap to know if a volatile is near... Its not scary! If we had an option to remove it from the minimap however, you would have to sneak more and be on guard all the time, listen after the sounds they make and all! It would be so much better!
  6. With the nearing of Christmas, Valve is getting in the spirit by giving us yet another patch. Not so much a content patch but more along the lines of balance. We will not be getting the Winter mode much like last year but we will still be getting the Winter map. There are some goodies for people that enjoy spending their money. With the patch, Valve will release the Treasure of the Frosted Flame, Treasure of the Nested Cache, Effigy Block of Frost, and the Gift Wrap.   7. So the new patch just launched and with it came a pretty major change to tank junglers in the form of the ancient golem item's revamp. So I personally love this change as I mainly play jungle tanks/utility champions and it gives you better clear(in most cases) and sustain than the old item, ontop of that it also gives the awesome passive increasing your bonus health by 25% making already tanky junglers even more tanky. The added ward is also a welcomed addition making you a stronger contender in the vision game. This mechanic however makes some balancing issues when concerning some champions that is heavily HP based like zac and after some theory crafting I set out into a customgame to try it out. Turns out that when zac aquires his spirit mail(replacement for spiritstone in AG) he can clear without ever having to back, can solo dragon without help(and reasonably fast) with two items and is also one of the few tank champions that can almost effortlessly solo baron later in the game(though at a snails pace). It is also worth mentionning that the machete changes will drastically reduce the effectiveness of "pet" junglers as the removal of the butcher passive significantly slows down junglers like elise, yoric, shaco and zyra. The nerf to elise is by me very good, but at the same time I wish they would take time to reduce lee sin's earlygame presence while at it. What do you think, do you like or dislike the changes and why?

  10. Ok, so i was checking lol reddit and i found something interesting, riot wants your information on what you think is not that good about Urgot. Link: http://forums.oce.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=32520 I dont know how many of you play Urgot but i think hes a fun champion with an unique kit, however i feel that hes too much of a situacional champion and that he really strugles because of him being so mana hungry. Now i havent played him too much lately and i feel like he could be good with trinity force, but even then his mana problems are still there, heck, some people say that going for tear still doesnt make him have enough mana. So i think the mana problem is pretty clear, however i've seen alot of people talk about his ult not being so good, and imo i feel like his ult is what makes his kit so special and i dont think they should change it too much, tweak it maybe but not change the overall way it works. Anyways just wanted to tell you guys about this and if you have some ideas make sure to post them on the LoL forum or if you want you can discuss it here.. tl;dr: Riot wants to change Urgot, and they want to know what you think about him. So what do you think about him?
  11. Go to the store, buy you're console, games ect, watch out for the creepies and dickheads on the way home. Once home, put you new console down somewhere safe, then go to bed. Seriously Many people learned the hard way with the PS4 that the set up could be hellish trying to download the day one patch. Sitting up for hour after hour trying to get the console up and running. The thing is, since this patch can only be downloaded from the console (you could put the PS patch on a memory stick from a computer) and given that this is a worldwide launch, not just regional one, the problem will almost certainly be worse. This is not a dig at X-box, like I said allot of people experienced this with the PS4. I know this is speculation, but I'd hate to log in tomorrow and read about somebody sitting up all night to do this then being to exhausted to actually enjoy it. I could be completely wrong and the set up might take no more than a few minutes, but the console will still be there in the morning, so is worth taking the chance?
