  1. Apologies for the very late upload, had less spare time to edit videos, regardless, here is the last payday 2 EF event. Feedback is appreciated
  2. Well guess wrong. http://www.overkillsoftware.com/games/update90/ With the new update 90 we have xp and money boosts on skins making it officially pay2win. Since people not using skins will recieve less. remember that DLC you payed 20$ for? You get 1 random skin, with or without boosts and stats. But that's not all, everyone that bought the COP will recieve 7 DLC's for free too bad that most are Vets of payday 2 and already bought the DLC's, making it entirely pointless. which can be heard on both the steam forums and on reddit. on top of that, they have added yet another bloody safe. GG Overgreed.....GG
  3. I'm going ahead and say I like payday 2 and don't get me wrong it's still good but in the current state it has been since day one of this years crimefest it does not look like may last for too long, along with other issues and concerns the payday community because of overkills actions in the past year Spring break event http://www.overkillsoftware.com/thehypetrain/ I'll start of in March when they announced the hype train which was basically a Kickstarter stretch goal for dlc that was held for ransom this really upset for payday community because there was a chance that the may not reach the goals and never get the content in fact they had to put their hype fuel (which were for reaching to the goals) behind hotline Miami 2 pre orders that's how bad it was doing because a part of the community wasn't going to participate in this, and even two of the stretch goals were terrible ideas because one of them was exclusive to American players and one of them is a tournament for a coop PVE game. The steam market update http://www.overkillsoftware.com/games/blackmarket/ Now we come to yesterday where overkill announced that they copy and pasted counter strikes global offensives ideas of microtransactions crates/safes and keys/drills to the colour of the rarity of each weapon skin, even having a button to inspect the weapon and making them worse by giving the weapon skins stat bonuses which is objectively a pay 2 win feature. As a matter of fact they stated that this game wouldn't have any microtransactions back when it launched http://steamcommunity.com/app/24240/discussions/0/810924774517838925/ This has completely blown my mind on how that could be considered acceptable by overkill and it completely sad for a developer like overkill to just have a awful year due to these bad business decisions. I'll leave you guys with some other complaints that others have raises from the steam payday 2 forum/sub reddit over the years but these were just the two major incidents with overkill in 2015 http://steamcommunity.com/app/218620/discussions/8/598199244886890714/ https://www.reddit.com/r/paydaytheheist/comments/3oxl3i/recounting_all_the_ways_overkill_have_let_us_down/?
  4. So the guys a Overkill Studios, who developed Payday: The Heist and Payday 2 announced their Crimefest event. What this is is rewards for milestone numbers of members who join their official Steam group here: http://steamcommunity.com/games/218620. If 1.5 million people join the Steam group by October 18th, which is Payday 2's anniversary, the reward is secret, but expect it to be huge. They're already at 1 million members and have released 2 rewards and are working on the third one now. What are your thoughts on the Crimefest promo? I think it's really cool that they're doing this. The Crimefest meter is here, hit F5 to refresh the meter every so often: http://www.overkillsoftware.com/crimefest/. Let's push to get all the rewards and see what that final one is!
  5. So, I've always wanted to professionally review games and I was hoping you could all completely negatively judge me on how poor I am at it, or possibly you have such a good heart you decide to lie and make me feel good about my review and hope that I'll get better. Either way I hope to make a part-time hobby/job out of this so I hope you all enjoy. Alright, I decided recently to review Payday 2. Why? First of all it didn't get that much attention due to a shortage of media coverage and just a lack of interest due to it not being close to AAA release such as Assassin's Creed or Battlefield. Do I recommend this game? I sure as hell recommend it. Not because it's polished or worth a full retail price tag, because it isn't. It is a blast playing with four friends (or complete strangers if you're feeling lucky) and being able to swear at your designated friend pal is satisfying when he decided to be detected during the set-up stage of your well-orchestrated heist. Yes! This game revolves around, you guessed it, people that have been playing this for quite a while now, heists! Of all sorts of sizes, and compared to the first Payday, the variety and number of missions is impressive. You complete heists to gain money, you gain money to buy things such as new masks, guns, attachments and assets to better improve your chances of completing more difficult jobs. Not only can you buy new equipment, but also you use money to buy new skills you unlock through leveling up, which also requires completing those carefully planned operations. Payday 2 doesn't go off the wall with perfection, however, this game is still incredibly broken, especially on consoles. It feels as if you'll still be playing a beta on the Xbox 360. Repeating items being rewarded to you, tied-up hostages magically calling the police using your cable ties, oh, and my personal favorite, police getting stuck in ceilings, being able to down you without ever discovering their locations. Plus, the visuals, especially the indoor textures and some animations are a bit low-key, so don't expect anything too stunning. Overall, Payday 2 clearly brings a new form of co-op entertainment to the table, still being months old, it has a robust community of forgiving players who aren't afraid to assist newcomers. This is certainly a keeper, and with the decreased price tag (30-40 US$) it certainly is worth your time. So, there's my first review, hope you all enjoyed.
  6. Merry Christmas, Angry Army! Hope you've all had a really swell holiday week so far My friends on Payday 2 poke fun at me sometimes for making some truly horrible and tacky masks, and I figured we could do a Christmas sweater type thing and share pics of terrible/awesome masks we've made. Here I present my worst one: And my favourite one: Anyone else have any masks they want to share?
  7. Hello Everyone!, I was just curious top see if anyone out there plays the games I am currently focused on. My main one is Aion I play on Tiamat and play an Elyos Chanter. I also am into Payday 2 heavily and play Raiderz (when extremely bored). My steam ID is in my profile so add me there if you want, I have my own server on ventrilo so if anyone wants to chat from time to time while playing it's no problem! Also fill me in on what games you are all playing that are online oriented that I can maybe get into!!! Hope to hear from some of you soon
  8. I think that payday 2 is a great game to add to a official game, or even an unofficial game (because someone took the payday ts3 channel off). Pros: Constant Update. Rob Banks with Friends – Players must choose their crew carefully, because when the job goes down they will need the right mix of skills on their side. Dynamic Scenarios – No heist ever plays out the same way twice. Every single scenario has random geometry or even rare events. Choose Your Skills – As players progress they can invest in any of four special Skill Trees: the Mastermind, the Enforcer, the Ghost and the Technician. Each features a deep customization tree of associated skills and equipment to master, and they can be mixed and matched to create the ultimate heister. Play It Your Way – Each job allows for multiple approaches, such as slow and stealthy ambushes, to running in guns blazing. Hit the target any way you want, and watch as the heist unfolds accordingly. Cons: Only 4 players for room. $29.99 on Steam (40% off until November 18th = $17.99).
  9. Hey Guys, i'm new here at AJSA and we all this talk of COD and Battlefrield online. I was wondering you guys start up a Payday 2 online pose, robbing banks, what more can you ask lol
