  1. I would like to welcome you to the 2nd AJSA NA League of Legends 1v1 Tournament. The tournament will be hosted on November 19, 2016 at 6pm Est. There will be 16 spots available in this tournament. Prizes will be handed out for first through third place finishes. Third place wins a $35, second place wins $50 cash and first place wins $75. To sign up for the tournament you have to be apart of the AJSA League of Legends Club and respond in the forum announcement with your in-game name. Seeding will be randomized Check in will be at 5:30pm Est in the club chat. If you are not present by 5:45pm Est your spot will be forfeited to the reserve list. The opening rounds of the tournament will be single matchups. The semifinals and finals will be best of three. Match Rules: The 1v1s will be played on Summoner’s Rift (in the mid lane) and the win conditions are first blood, first tower or first to 100 CS. Selections, Early Rounds: The selection process will include a “chat ban” phase before a blind pick during the opening rounds of the tournament. During this process each contestant can ban up to 3 champions. This ensures nobody has an unfair advantage in the single matchups. Selections, Finals: The semifinals and finals will have a draft phase. There will be a coin toss to determine the order in which sides will be picked in the best of three. Winning: Once any win condition is reached, both participants take a screenshot of the scoreboard to submit for review if your game is not being casted. If the score board is suspicious, the matchup will be replayed with an observer. Suspicious scoreboards include reaching 100 CS before 9.5 minutes into the match which is the realistic threshold for 100 CS without missing a minion. Streaming: Games will be broadcasted on https://www.twitch.tv/thetitan18 and/or https://www.twitch.tv/ajsagaming . Every semifinals and finals matchup will be broadcasted. Broadcasted matchups in the opening rounds will be chosen at random and participants will be informed if they are selected. Unbroadcasted Matches: All unbroadcasted matches in the first round have to be underway by 6:20pm Est. All unbroadcasted matches in the second round have to be underway by 7:20pm Est. This allows for remake time if necessary. Disconnects, Hardware Failure, and Bugs: In the event of any of these situations, the game will be remade if neither side has hit 60 CS. If one side has hit 60 CS, the CS delta has to be under 15 for a remake if the player affected is behind. If a remake is the outcome, the game will have an observer, and has to launch within 5min of the decision. If this happens two times to one player in a match, that player will forfeit that match.
  2. Hi there everybody! Now that I'm back from Japan we have a new tournament for you all! THE AJSA INGENUITY TOURNAMENT What is it?: A tournament starting the fourth of May, this tournament is different from your regular tournaments as it is not consisted of normal games. What are these games if they are not normal?: These games will follow a theme and not only will they be following a theme in the sense that two teams from the tournament will play each other these games will also be AGAINST THE GENERAL PUBLIC Wait WHAT?: These games will be played in pubs. You will follow a theme for the week. You are expected to play in a responsible manner upholding the AJSA's code of conduct. THIS INCLUDES THE ANTI CHEATING ONE. If you are found to be exploiting the system to be playing against certain people just to give you a win you will be disqualified. You have been warned. At the end of each week you will submit a replay for review. Review? What do you mean?: Each game will be reviewed based on a combination of game equality (Was the game equally balanced or was it a feed fest), interpretation of the theme (How well you play the theme and what new you bring to it) and Enjoyability (Did a fantastic play happen, did someone fail badly) Win or lose we want a great show. How do I join? Simply go to: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/AngryJoeShowArmyDOTA2/discussions/0/558754260077145193/ With your Team's name and members. THESE MEMBERS MUST REMAIN THE SAME THROUGHOUT THE TOURNAMENT UNLESS A ROSTER CHANGE IS PREVIOUSLY APPROVED. How do we win? Over the weeks you've acquired points and maybe even had your game casted by a pro. At the end we pit the two highest scoring teams against each other in the final match up. See you in game and see you in lane. Yours Sincerely, Orphanchocolate
  3. Hey all. Happy New Year, and all that. Hope the holidays were good, and the Steam Sales better Well to celebrate 2014, I thought it might be appropriate to give away some free stuff, out of the goodness of my heart, and out of desperate need for self-actualisation and friendship... ...ANYWAY... I have 2 copies of "Payday: The Heist" and 2 copies of "Natural Selection 2". Both these games are great examples of good multiplayer titles, and are really addictive in their own rights. Considering what a great community this is, you can probably find some people around to play them with, myself included If you'd like one of these games, Add me as a friend on Steam (=AJSA=RatchetRig) and send me message saying which game you'd like (You can say both, and be entered into both draws). I'll randomly pick 2 people for each game, and contact them via Steam. If I don't get a response, I'll select a new winner. Closing date is the 17th of January. Best of luck, and hope to see you in-game sometime! EDIT: If you don't want to have to enter through Steam, you can leave a comment here saying which game you want, and you'll enter into the same draw.
  4. Hello I am JazzyJazz77 and I havent been involved in this community for very long but im diving right in as it seems. Im a old season 1 league of legends player and if I may get permission I am willing to host community contests for the AJSA, prizes can include things such as RP, rare skin codes (such as pax jax, pax sivir, riot nasus) before I dive in and start hosting community contests I would like to know how much of the community are interested in such contests and if I can get some people to help me host, not to mention the fact if its ok to host events or if I need permission from someone? Post in the replies if you think this is a good or bad idea and if you would like to help. Any issues please PM me and ill reply as soon as I am available.
