Hello, I am Demiser500 gaming hobbyist. I need help in choosing a laptop to game on. Whoa! Calm down I understand that a desktop is better than a laptop. I already have a very capable desktop that runs BF4 multiplayer on ultra at 100 fps. I am looking to be able to game in the rest of home other than my office. However, I am not looking to spend a fortune on a gaming laptop. What I am looking for is a laptop that is capable of playing BF4, PS2 and other triple A titles on mostly high/medium settings. I have looked around on the web and found that I will most likely end up with a NVIDIA GTX 765M in the laptop. It seems to be the niche at my price point which is under $1500. I will mainly use it to play on the weekdays and going to friends homes; on the weekends and easy nights I'll be in the office on the desktop. So the end all be all question is really.....what the hell should I get so I can game all around my house? And how much should I spend? I am very open to the idea of not spending a lot of money and getting a laptop that performs well in those areas. So I guess I'm looking for the reaction where when you look at the game on the screen you say "oh, that looks good" not "damn, that is nice". Because nice is spelt with too many $$$. Thanks for any input soldiers.
Friends! Since the practicality of PC gaming has become more and more evident (thanks to AJ and other PC advocates) I am looking to build a PC for myself. I am on the fence about purchasing a console when it just seems that building my own PC will alleviate some of the headaches of next gen console's and the politics of it all. Rant over. But now I am left without a starting point. Pretty much I'm looking to build a setup exclusively for gaming. Programs such as Office etc. will be reserved for my laptop. So that being said I am hoping to be able to put something together that is: PowerfulAmazing Graphics(Hopefully) AffordableAny input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
Well, let´s about our set ups and posible upgrades for the next gen games maybe. You can make suggestions or dream with nasa´s PC. This is my PC for casual gaming . My PC: I3 2120 ( next year an i5 ) Amd 7850 Xfx 1gb DRR5 4 GB ram ( i know its very low , im upgrading maybe to 4x2 or 8x1 dont know yet) Sentey SS1 power supply And the monitor is kinda old, Samsung 17 " ( resolution 1440*900 )
so im a college student and my budge is pretty low. here is my build but i am still deciding which graphics card to get. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/rutherne/saved/2LnH im going to pick up everything on black friday hopefully to save some bucks i am still deciding of getting the r9 270x http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202050&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID= or the 7870 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202025 my goal is to be able to play bf4 on ultra settings, which i think i will accomplish with mantle. And to play star citizen. later on in a couple months after i bought the parts, i will be upgrading to 16 gigs of ram, a after marker cpu fan and a ssd. i was planning on upgrading the gpu in a year when star citizen comes out. tell me what you think.
so here is my first pc build that i will get parts on blackfriday. my budget is 500 dollars but im going to try to get the most expensive things first. i will probably switch out the r9 270x for the a 7870 since newegg has it now on sale with a couple good free games. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/rutherne/saved/2L1D my main goal is to play battle field 4 on high and hopefullly, still a long way to go, to play star citizen.
