  1. SERIOUSLY...........What fuck is this? Let me just start by expanding what many others have said on that 2017 has been a very kind year so far when it comes to quality games as it's also been a great year for quality tech as well, for both PC and consoles. We have AMD's new Ryzen series giving amazing multi-threaded CPU performance at a very reasonable price, Nintendo's new Switch hitting the market, Microsoft have just announced a Q4 release date for the Scorpio with some very impressive specs (more on that from Digital Foundry HERE), AMD's new HBM gen 2 Vega GPU line up is right around the corner and of course NVidea closing out the Pascal GPU series with the awesome 1080Ti........... or so we thought........ Right now I'm in the market for a new top-end system so naturally I've been quite closely following allot of what been going on the past few months and let me tell you something...... The announcement from NVidea is a complete shit show! As you have undoubtedly surmised by now today NVidea launched (pretty much out of nowhere) the latest member of its overpriced "My dick is bigger than yours" Titan line up. Few people expected them to do this less than 2 months after the release of the GTX 1080Ti it and I suspect even less people wanted it, but with no exaggeration this is the most insulting one yet! For starters let talk about the name, since series' initiation it's gone as follows: GeForce GTX Titan (Feb, 2013) Geforce GTX Titan Black (Feb, 2014) GeForce GTX Titan Z (March, 2014) GeForce GTX Titan X (March, 2015) NVidea Titan X (August, 2016) Notice how they dropped "GeForce GTX" to distinguish from it's Maxwell Predecessor, more on this later. Nvidea Titan Xp (April, 2017) Now here's the thing with these names especially regarding the last 3 which are all Titan X. Most people when talking about NVidea cards these never really referred to them as GeForce GTX despite them being branded as such. So when the new Pascal "NVidea" Titan X came out to replace the old Maxwell "GTX GeForce" Titan X everyone was immediately confused especially since the "NVidea" model still had "GeForce GTX" branded on the damn card despite dropping the name! To get over this problem everyone referred to the new Pascal card as the "Titan XP" or "Titan X Pascal" and NOT the "NVidea Titan X". Now and I'm certain for no other reason than to confuse and annoy everybody they are actually calling it the Titan Xp! AS IF WASN'T CONFUSING ENOUGH! This is taking the complete piss, it's like they are blaming us for their mistake! That not all! As you probably guessed by the "Xp" it still uses the same Pascal architecture as the previous Titan X, in fact it's almost exactly the same card! It's the same PCB, same 12Gb GDDR5X Memory, the same DVI/HDMI 2.0/ 3 x DP 1.4 IO layout and the same cooling assembly. The only improvements are an increase in CUDA cores and memory clock boost. There is a boost to the CUDA clock as well but it's so tiny it's barely worth mentioning. Some defenders will by know doubt argue that have made improvements to the current Titan before namely the Titan Black. However, when you compare how much more the Titan Black gained compared to it's predecessor compared to the Titan Xp there is an obvious problem: Now the truth will only come out when people actually start posting benchmarks but Titan Black at it's base clock gets a performance gain of about 15% to 18% over it's counterpart at the most. With the Titan Xp's gain in Core speed in particular so much lower than that I estimate that it will see a gain of about half that at best, an overclocked 1080Ti will easily do better than that, the 1080Ti Gigabyte Xtreme Edition AORUS has a 10% gain right out of the box. Hell for the same price you could SLI two 1080's and it would obliterate the Titan! If you were unfortunate/stupid enough to buy a Titan X Pascal last year Nvidea has just given you a $1200 kick in the ballsack not once but twice now! Why the hell anyone buys into this garbage is will forever be beyond me. I'll end with a video form JayZTwoCents who first drew my attention to this, thanks for reading!

  3. Delrith wanted a Titan skin that was pink with flowers on it, and call it Bob. I can't convince Respwan to do it, but I can at least to this lazy piece of fan art. Plus I really needed something silly to draw.
  4. Just when I was about to sleep, this was sent to me and I had to once again talk about Titan Fall and how it's been over hyped. You shouldn't be excited to pay $60 for a multiplayer only game that most likely will be just as broken as Battlefield 4. Make sure you watch the whole video before commenting. One thing to keep in mind I did make a mistake about the source engine in this video which i realize i got wrong so sorry bout that.
  5. Link to the first volume's thread: http://angryjoeshow.com/ajsa/topic/11539-spoilers-so-i-read-the-first-volume-of-attack-on-titan/ Again, I'm not too good at this but I'll do my best. [MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD] Thanks for reading. No spoilers please.
  6. I found it very interesting. Honestly, I'm not really the kind of person that can put thoughts together into a coherent review but I'll do my best. [MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD]
  7. So, the guys at PCGamer decided one day to build simply the greatest gaming PC ever. It features quad-SLI Titans (which actually aren't the absolute topline anymore, ) And whole lotta other things cramped up into it! See the whole glorious build here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jt_Sz_srw80 http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/11/18/introducing-the-large-pixel-collider-a-computer-of-uncomfortable-power/ It is simply, beautiful... What I would give for a monster like that... *drools*
