  1. I would like to welcome you to the 2nd AJSA NA League of Legends 1v1 Tournament. The tournament will be hosted on November 19, 2016 at 6pm Est. There will be 16 spots available in this tournament. Prizes will be handed out for first through third place finishes. Third place wins a $35, second place wins $50 cash and first place wins $75. To sign up for the tournament you have to be apart of the AJSA League of Legends Club and respond in the forum announcement with your in-game name. Seeding will be randomized Check in will be at 5:30pm Est in the club chat. If you are not present by 5:45pm Est your spot will be forfeited to the reserve list. The opening rounds of the tournament will be single matchups. The semifinals and finals will be best of three. Match Rules: The 1v1s will be played on Summoner’s Rift (in the mid lane) and the win conditions are first blood, first tower or first to 100 CS. Selections, Early Rounds: The selection process will include a “chat ban” phase before a blind pick during the opening rounds of the tournament. During this process each contestant can ban up to 3 champions. This ensures nobody has an unfair advantage in the single matchups. Selections, Finals: The semifinals and finals will have a draft phase. There will be a coin toss to determine the order in which sides will be picked in the best of three. Winning: Once any win condition is reached, both participants take a screenshot of the scoreboard to submit for review if your game is not being casted. If the score board is suspicious, the matchup will be replayed with an observer. Suspicious scoreboards include reaching 100 CS before 9.5 minutes into the match which is the realistic threshold for 100 CS without missing a minion. Streaming: Games will be broadcasted on https://www.twitch.tv/thetitan18 and/or https://www.twitch.tv/ajsagaming . Every semifinals and finals matchup will be broadcasted. Broadcasted matchups in the opening rounds will be chosen at random and participants will be informed if they are selected. Unbroadcasted Matches: All unbroadcasted matches in the first round have to be underway by 6:20pm Est. All unbroadcasted matches in the second round have to be underway by 7:20pm Est. This allows for remake time if necessary. Disconnects, Hardware Failure, and Bugs: In the event of any of these situations, the game will be remade if neither side has hit 60 CS. If one side has hit 60 CS, the CS delta has to be under 15 for a remake if the player affected is behind. If a remake is the outcome, the game will have an observer, and has to launch within 5min of the decision. If this happens two times to one player in a match, that player will forfeit that match.
  2. We will host the final EF Burnout Paradise event this Saturday, the 29th of October at 4pm EDT/ 9pm BST. For this event we will be using Discord. This final event, we will host a racing tournament (yes really)! This tournament will consist of 9 different custom races. We will manually keep track of the points awarded and the one with the most points will be declared winner of the tournament and be given one of the prestigious contest pips. The Second place will be given an Racing MVP Award. Be aware that these awards will actually be awarded once awards have been reintroduced to our forum infrastructure. Good luck to all, Angry Racers! Dedicated Players We encourage commitment and attendance within the EF, thus we offer attendance pips for those players who register themselves as dedicated players (You can still attend all events without making this commitment). As such dedicated players promise to attend at least 50% of the events, for which they will receive said attendance pip at the end of the month. If you want to suggest ideas, discuss the game or make other recommendations, then feel free to do so in the EF forum here: http://angryjoeshow.com/ajsa/forums/topic/31185-future-ef-games-post-your-suggestions-here/ If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact any of the EF leaders, namely Acepilot666, ArisingFlame, Brandykins1982, Conan or Digs.
  3. I'll be training for august, will you be ready? Cause next time around I won't hold back! >:D

  5. I am happy to announce that we will be holding a Rocket League Tournament among the Xbox One members. To ensure all teams have full participations in the tournament, we will be having a small placing season. This means that the elimination bracket will not be randomly generated. The number of games will depend on how many teams will be signed up. We will try to make teams play every other team before the elimination phase. It is time for you to make a team!!! Teams will be three player large. You may make a team with people that are not members of the AJSA although a no-show may result in forfeit and a loss towards your record. Wins will grant you two points, while an overtime loss will grant you one. Standings will be organized by team points. Ties will be settled with goals for and against. Expect the placing season to begin Sunday June 19th but teams will be finalized by June 5th (the deadline to make a team is June 5th). If you want to participate in the tournament reply in this thread with your team name and the gamertags of the three members representing your team. A template is shown bellow. TEAM NAME GT1 GT2 GT3 If you don't have Rocket League it is not too late to pick it up and participate in the tournament. It is a really fun game and retails for $19.99USD and comes with all of season one DLC.

  7. To let everyone know, special thanks to Nintendo and Namco Bandai for providing me a early review copy of the game. However I'm told the limited gameplay I can provide is up to 30 minutes and it can be split into 10 minute increments. I'm alright with that. However it won't stop me from showing off how great the game is and it TRULY IS great. Without a doubt. Up first is some gameplay showing off Pikachu Libre against a Machamp. Enjoy. More will be coming so stay tuned. #freegame #PokkénTournament
  8. I was really surprised of the turnout of this Tournament, there was alot epic goal, some bs ones ill admit that but overall i felt like there was competitions on every levels! Some were easy to beat, some were difficult but im quite happy that our team ``The MLG QwiKscopers`` Won the tourney and honestly i did not expect that, the team named Gingerbread really step up the skill needed to beat them, they got second place and they deserved it, so as the Pokemon Smashers team, that got 3rd place! 10. Hey guys! Maghorn here. I would like to announce a new weekly event that I will be hosting in Space Engineers being called the AJSA Galactic Tournament. Every Sunday at 12 EST I will activate a new server I created for events only. The server features a space station with 8 hangers, one for each competitor to build in, and a tower for spectators. On the day of the event we will all meet on the AJSA Space Engineers Teamspeak server, where I will assign hangars and coordinate the event. First Match: Sunday, February 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM EST Postponed indefinitely do to lack of players. The server features some mods that will make ship building a bit more varied. The mods included are the Azimuth Industries Mega Mod Pack, Dark Mechanicus's Orb Cockpit and Darth Boimech's Armored Thrusters. Rules of Engagement Each round may feature a 1v1 or 2v2 battle in an asteroid field. Competitors will be assigned a hangar to build in before the battle begins. Each fighter will be given up to 15 minutes to build their spacecraft. Fighters may only equip up to 3 weapons total, have up to 2 gyroscopes and 4 small or 2 normal rear thrusters. Armored thrusters count as normal. All ships must fit within the yellow box in the hangar. DO NOT RAM OTHER SHIPS. It's just cheap. When all weapons, thrusters or the cockpit is disabled, the broken ship will be eliminated and left as an obstacle in the arena. The arena is the group of asteroids set a short flight from the hangars. Try not to fly too far from them. Spectating There will be two ways to view a battle. Using Spectator Mode Watching the battle on http://www.twitch.tv/maghornServer name: AJSA Event Server Sign up will be first come, first served. Leave a reply to this thread if you want to join the next match. Each Monday a new sign up sheet will be posted on the Space Engineers forum, so be sure to look for it if you want to join. See you all in the stars.

  12. Hello everyone! AngryJoe has a Wii U and he is streaming right now. But I came on here and created this to see if anyone thinks if there will be changes to the Nintendo forum section? It is just to 'guess' if there will be any changes though. Like a feature where you can hold a tournament date for Mario Kart 8, for example. I doubt it, but it would be nice to read other people's views on this. Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.
  13. For those who may not wanted to be in the tournament I have some good news. The tank tournament before consisted of an assortment of EU, RU, and US clans. Now Gaijin has gracefully decided that the next tournaments be held in two sections. The East and the West. So now we don't those so called Russian clans, but now have a chance at winning considering our performance in the last tournaments. Is anyone else excited for this! Site thanks to Tobillini: http://forum.warthunder.com/index.php?/topic/176842-information/#entry3353104
  14. I am new to the community and still am not custom to the website yet. I decided I would like to join the League of legends tournament with my friends. I have created a team but am unable to join the tournament, this may be due to it being full but I am unaware whether it is or not. If someone could tell me it would be greatly appreciated.
  15. It has begun once again, ready up summoners it's time for the second tournament. Those who dare to compete have a chance to win prizes Will be played on the NA region and a max of 8 teams. Teams will be able to register for the tournament on the second of March at 4:00 PM central Registration deadline is on the 26th of March at 11:59 PM central Soon after the tournament starts on the 28th at 6:00 PM central, which will then proceed to the 29th and 30th at 3:00 PM central The date is far back so teams can get it figured out and what days to show up, the times for competing are solid and teams are expected to show up at these times or face disqualification, any changes in the schedule during tournament times must be brought up a week in advance. The tournament will be double elimination Rules: Must have a team to participateMust be at least a recruit of the army including everyone on your team to participate. (this means that when you get on Teamspeak, it would have to show a recruit badge next to your name or higher, Please get this sorted out before the tournament not during)Must be connected to Teamspeak during tournamentTeams must let moderator know who the winner is, take screenshots to avoid conflict.Matches must be played using Tournament mode using the custom game lobby (this allows pausing if a problem arises)Games can't be paused for more than 5 minutes. For the prizes, 35 dollars of RP to each member of the victorious team. The second place team 10 dollars of RP to each member. Important side note: Subs are allowed, we are working on getting subs into the tournament system so you can add them but currently the tournament system doesn't allow subs. If you have subs remember only 5 people are eligible for a prize, subs will not receive prizes. (message LittleMowgli if there are any more questions about this) Furthermore the last two matches will be streamed, so no ghosting... seriously. Here is a rough draft of our coming soon Tutorial Video on how to sign up a team! Wanted to put this here as it does the job perfectly until we get our next one out! Also if you need to find a team try here:http://angryjoeshow.com/ajsa/topic/15101-tournament-team-finder/ This post has been promoted to an article
  16. I am putting this here since it's a sujesstion for the Forum/Site Software for the Tournaments and teams. The current number of teamates when you create a team is set to max 5 members. Can't we fix this. If I want to have a team of 6, 7 or even 10 players that will not play for an other team in the same tournament why set that size? I'm playing Dota 2 and even Valve fixed that fixaded number form 5 to 7 in later updates of the game. There are reasons why some teams need to be bigger then the exact number of players that will take part in the games. Also I am pritty sure right now all the people that want to make a team for something like Titanfall that has 6 players are down the sink. This way only games with max 5 players can make new teams. I really don't understand what is the problem with having more then the exact number of players for the game listed in the team pool.
  17. Hey guys last time people had a hard time finding teams, if you want to participate in the tournament and can't find teams put your summoner name here for NA, also put down your preferred roll or lane to play in. Teams can also put in a message here if they are searching for people to message them. here is the article post for the tournament: http://angryjoeshow.com/ajsa/_/articles/league-of-legends-tournament-r43 along with a rough draft of the tournament guide:
  18. I'm not nearly skilled enough for this, just putting this up incase anyone's interested. £1000 prize, registration by the 23rd of June 8PM GMT. http://www.esl.eu/uk/killzone-ps4/news/242277
  19. Hi there everybody! Now that I'm back from Japan we have a new tournament for you all! THE AJSA INGENUITY TOURNAMENT What is it?: A tournament starting the fourth of May, this tournament is different from your regular tournaments as it is not consisted of normal games. What are these games if they are not normal?: These games will follow a theme and not only will they be following a theme in the sense that two teams from the tournament will play each other these games will also be AGAINST THE GENERAL PUBLIC Wait WHAT?: These games will be played in pubs. You will follow a theme for the week. You are expected to play in a responsible manner upholding the AJSA's code of conduct. THIS INCLUDES THE ANTI CHEATING ONE. If you are found to be exploiting the system to be playing against certain people just to give you a win you will be disqualified. You have been warned. At the end of each week you will submit a replay for review. Review? What do you mean?: Each game will be reviewed based on a combination of game equality (Was the game equally balanced or was it a feed fest), interpretation of the theme (How well you play the theme and what new you bring to it) and Enjoyability (Did a fantastic play happen, did someone fail badly) Win or lose we want a great show. How do I join? Simply go to: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/AngryJoeShowArmyDOTA2/discussions/0/558754260077145193/ With your Team's name and members. THESE MEMBERS MUST REMAIN THE SAME THROUGHOUT THE TOURNAMENT UNLESS A ROSTER CHANGE IS PREVIOUSLY APPROVED. How do we win? Over the weeks you've acquired points and maybe even had your game casted by a pro. At the end we pit the two highest scoring teams against each other in the final match up. See you in game and see you in lane. Yours Sincerely, Orphanchocolate
  20. I just read the post on the server rules and I want to do tournaments, but I don't have a team. So I was wondering if anyone in the same position wanted to team up for a tournament 6v6 with me. Plz message me or comment on this post if interested
  21. It's that time again! Post your brackets! I didn't watch as much college basketball as I probably should have, but yeah. I used this site to fill mine out: http://www.printyourbrackets.com/images/fillable-march-madness.pdf
  22. More Details can be found here. http://angryjoeshow.com/ajsa/_/articles/ajsa-dota-2-tournament-r37
  23. Hey what's up guys. Pretty much i'm trying to create an Injustice: God's Among Us online PS4 team tournament but to do that i would need people interested lol. The premises would be each person would choose a team of 5 different fighters, and the fight's would either go best of 3 or until one of the competitors loses with all five of his or her fighters. If anyone would be interested, or has any advice as to how to make it better let me know. Thanks.
  24. Well, hello there! If you guys saw us play at the tourney, you would have noticed that we performed really poorly. Because we set up our own defeat. We didn't take the tournament serious at any moment and it was expected that we wouldn't have made it anywhere in it. From the inappropriate comments to the really bad plays and "strategies". This is our first Tournament and most likely won't be our last. I want to apologize to Craig910 for wasting his time, me and our whole team weren't acting mature and we were just being straight up disrespectful. I hope you forgive us. We gave a really bad name to US players (well, Florida players) on the AJSA community. Hopefully, next time we'll do better! PS:Milestone Gaming and Dwelling in Wisdom, you guys did great. Good job!
