fireman194 posted a topic in PlayStation 4 & VitaFor all Nathan Drake Fans please give me a direction. i played the Nathan Drake Collection Demo, first time to the franchise...so friggin awesome! Would you recommend I buy the ND Collection for the ps4 BEFORE buying Uncharted 4, or just go straight for the new title? It was so awesome but i don't know if it would be better (or not) knowing the backstory and history first, or does UC4 just stand alone? Thanks Angry Friends. -noob to the franchise, but experienced gamer.

Recently, I ran through Uncharted: Golden Abyss for the Vita. I thought that the game looked great, for a vita game, and had a great narrative and really solid characters, but the gameplay was as dull as fucking dishwater. I mean, I was literally falling asleep at the controls, because everything that happens in the game happens at a snails pace. That said, I thought the story and the characters were great and it really got me interested in the main games, if only for the story. With that in mind here are my main questions. How representative is Golden Abyss of the rest of the franchise. Are the mechanics the same? Do enemies actually reload their guns in the PS3 games? Are the hit boxes as laughably bad? Are the climby bits more interactive in the PS3 versions? Is the story of the PS3 versions worth it? PS: Naughty Dog seems to really be nailing down character development in video games, no? Also, please feel free to post any thoughts or opinions of the Uncharted series in general here as I'm interested in not only having my question answered, but also hearing peoples opinions on the mechanics the game employs.
So last night Sony released a metric fuck-ton of new trailers. Being as the PS4 is out, and all these new trailers are giving me hype I figured we should take the time to discuss our favorite trailers. What game are you most excited about after these trailers? What game are you surprised to see come back? I'm personally really surprised to see Naughty Dog making Uncharted 4. They normally don't make past 3 games in their franchises. So I'm curious to see what they'll do with this one.
Hi, I am DAHFAN1308! I am on the PlayStation Network, right now only playing AC 3, Uncharted (yes the first 1), all of the Arkham Games (friend me for Origins multiplayer), and Infamous (again, first one). I am also on steam but I don't have a good PC yet (typing on tablet), so wait for me on steam until probably after the holidays
