  1. While the Kickstarter is over, they're still accepting donations for their stretch goals. Shantae is a little known but critically acclaimed action platformer that made its debut on the Gameboy Color in 2002. Wayforward made a sequel in 2010 for DSiWare. It's one of my personal favorites; the reason why it's not more well known is because it came out on older and obscure systems. There's a third game, called Pirate's Curse, which is scheduled to come out soon on the 3DS. The 3DS Virtual console trailer for the original Gameboy Color game: The trailer for the sequel Risky's Revenge: The new one on Kickstarter is called Shantae: Half Genie Hero. The Kickstarter page: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1236620800/shantae-half-genie-hero Some of the stretch goals would add a significant amount of re-playability (like the ability to replay the game as different characters with their own stories and powers) and it could just make the game nicer overall. This series deserves some attention.
  2. A few years back, my dad's friend gave him a CD of an NES emulator with a ton of games on it. He wasn't a gamer, but my brother and I were, so we played all of them, trying to figure each one out (especially with the keyboard controls). I didn't like any of them, except the very bad attempt of making a digital Monopoly game, and DuckTales and DuckTales 2. While I grew up on the PS2, DuckTales 1 and 2 were a huge part of my childhood as well. But I didn't grow up on the show or anything. I was too young to really understand the game, either. Earlier this year, in case anyone was living under a rock, there was a huge nostalgia bomb when DuckTales Remastered released on PS3, Xbox 360, and Steam. I LOVE DuckTales Remastered, and I was wondering if there are any other DuckTales fans in the Angry Army.
