  2. Ok i was on my way home bought a fresh new ps3 controller (Camo) from game stop everything cool cant wait to get home, but then i went to a store called DD's Discounts decent store with there cloths and car and electronics waiting for the GF to finish shopping to get our CoD black ops zombie match on.Then i saw a controller for $5 with mic and i was like that's a steal i bought i looked at it and yea with its weird shape didn't mind.I got home opened it with its irritating packaging i programmed it to the ps3 to receive signal everything good till in the middle of the match my controller started smoking then shocked me hard i was surprised a company can let this pass to market.even the mic that thing mad a hug high pitch sound making my ears hurt out  THIS IS BS!! I understand they try to make the same ps3 or xbo360 controllers or mic but if any aftermarket listening if you can do it do it right or stop trying cause with that experience hell no
  3. Hello, I don't really know much about console gaming to be honest (well I do own a wii, but it's purpose is to collect dust untill some friends come over) and looking at the fact that last gen consoles aren't THAT expensive I'm thinking of picking up one fror the exclusives, but which one? I'm thinking of the PS3 with it's Uncharted, TLOS and maybe heay rain. What do you lads think?
  4. James Bond 007: Legends While I can say that I was certainly excited for a new James Bond game, I have got to say that this felt disappointing. The very beginning had a scene that did not even tie into any part of the game and kinda left me feeling awkward as I expected it to "become" something like a tutorial level or something like that. Furthermore, James Bond is about stealth, wit, and firepower at appropriate moments. This game did very little to emphasize that. Except for the "stealth sections" which you could go about blasting anyone away, there was almost no consequences for revealing your cover save it be for 3 extra guys appearing from thin air and firing at you. In addition to that, any vehicle that the enemy rides in takes at most two shots from ANYTHING, which makes it feel like the vehicles were made of paper mache and super easy. The fights with the some of the minions and bosses is nothing more than moving up/down on the left and right joystick which I was initially happy to see as a welcome change in the usual shoot 'em up style of James Bond. However, after 15 times of that and you quickly become tired and desperately want to use guns on the bosses. The game stories held some truth to how they actually occurred in the movies. However, because of how they deeply misconstrued the plot in the game, the story cannot be compared to the movies and it feels more like a parody. The unnecessary explosions during game play serves no purpose than to give away your position to the enemy who conveniently has 10 men waiting around hallways at almost every single corridor. Each story (Grouped into three missions) were extremely short and unsatisfying as there was nothing memorable about how they were slightly absurd (One required you to follow a trail of nerve gas floating in the air without a gas mask or suit. Makes sense.). The replay ability of this game is only measured by the collectibles that are easy to pick up and the trials that can be completed for extra points to buy in game attachments which is already on your guns, or on enemy guns. Overall, I would give this game a 3/10 due to the fact that it had so much potential to be good because of development teams, technology, and the rich story lines but it did not utilize any of it.
  5. Now that I am a full member I've created a Unofficial AJSA crew for Xbox 360. I hope there are some people who join who are good with creating emblems as I am rubbish. Reply to this thread if you want in or apply on rockstar social club website. The crew is called Websters Angry Army.
  6. New member joining from Hong Kong (but hailing orginally from Scotland) Xbox 360 gamer (SimonShek) but thinking of making the transition to PC for Battlefield 4 (after the bugs have been sorted according to AngryJoe!) Anyone else out there in Hong Kong joining the Army?
  7. If you ever played pinball machines (or even if you never played one), check out Pinball Arcade, free on Steam! (This is more of a demo mode though. You get one free machine.) Considering how much it cost to play back then for the real deal (between AU$1 to 2 a credit), AU$4.99 for one machine (or Seasons at about AU$22!) it's a bargain! The act of getting pinball machine ROMs and recreating the tables was around by using VBPinball and PinMAME together, but in an illegal and annoyingly hard way to accomplish. Farsight plan to recreate all the greats and the memorable tables inbetween. If you like STAR TREK THE NEXT GENERATION or TERMINATOR 2 you're in luck! That's two of the ones already made! There are a few gems in the unknowns too, and Farsight let you try them all (up to a score point - get too high? Prompt saying "Buy or Quit"). A good demo mode where you get to feel the table, see how it is. And you get challenges too. Typical goals and Wizard goals (No, not like D&D. Think "Pinball Wizard by The Who). (And for the achievement junkies, 117 SO FAR. High Scores, Goals, etc.) It's a wierd kind of F2P, but it is, kind of F2P with monetization if you want the game free of "score's too high" death. A lot of nostalgia, but even for me, I'm a 80s kid who played a LOT of the last big ones, and I'm finding tables that never made it here! The physics are solid, and it even plays on a XBOX360 controller well! (LT/RT triggers = flippers, A or right stick for ball hitter [?], left stick for thumping the table around!) Give it a go, you may find you like the old school pinball/nostalgia! (I'm now pestering them for Back To The Future, Doctor Who, Demolition Man and Addams Family. Although the last one might be a pain to get rights to thanks to Raul Julia's family...OF COURSE!) STEAM Store Link: http://store.steampowered.com/app/238260/
  8. Hello Angry Army! I am looking for opinions on what consoles I should buy. I tend to buy consoles based on how many exclusives I can get that I can not get on PC. Nintendo being one of those companies I buy consoles from mainly because of their high amount of exclusives (C'mon who doesn't like Mario, Kirby and Donkey Kong Country.). I currently own a PS2, Wii and Xbox 360 from my pre-PC days. I am wondering if PS4 would be worth buying compared to the Xbox one. I have to say my Xbox 360 is kind of a flop for me because most of the games I can get on PC are found predominantly on Xbox with exception of a few like Red Dead Redemption and Gears of War. This is not surprising since they are supported by the same company. Thanks so much for your input!
  9. Okay Let me start by saying this is the first time I have ever played in the Diablo franchise. I had no real desire to play the others but after one of my friends insisted that I try the Xbox360 version of Diablo 3 to get into Diablo. I don't know why I had never played these games before but now that I've played this game I am having trouble putting it down. This game has a fantastic setting that pulled me in and didn't let go. Unlike most games now a days it has four player local co-op, and let me tell you that makes for a fun night in the dorms. The story was alright but seemed to be a rushed however when it wasn't racing to the next part of the story it was compelling. Combat is deep with multiple abilities to each type of Class, however once you find out what works for you in combat it starts to become repetitive. Each Class is well thought out, very distinct, and Badass in their own way. The Wizard is a epic magic user working at a distance, The Monk is an agile up close warrior, The Barbarian is your Conan archetype, The Demon Hunter is the range biased guy who can jump from place to place like a boss, and last but not least is the Witch Doctor using voodoo to curse his foes and wreaking havoc through the dark arts. Me and my friends had a great time with this game and now that we have some of its higher difficulties it will be a blast playing through it again. 7.5/10 not bad. Pros- Good Co-op, Interesting world and characters, deep combat options, scratches the dark fantasy itch Cons- You will be a health potion Junky, Combat can turn repetitive, story can feel a tad rushed
  10. I've been playing on xbox, but always offline. Plus, the game gets a bit boring after a while when your digging for ores. I was hoping maybe a few recruits might be interested in making a new world. Preferably members with headsets or skype. maybe build the "Angry Joe Show Boot Camp" as a first project in game and move on from there.
