Terminator: Salvation Review

MSRP: $60 Platform: Xbox 360, PS3 Developer: GRIN Publisher: Evolved Games Genre: Third Person Shooter Players: 1-2 Offline Players
Joes Notes:

The Short Version: Not only is Terminator Salvation below average in every conceivable way, but the experience itself is extremely short (3-4 hours long) and offers no online multiplayer modes. How anyone decided it should be sold at full price ($59.99) baffles me and frankly is an insult to gamers.

Wolverine: Origins Review

MSRP: $60 Platform: Xbox 360, PC, PS3 Developer: Raven Software Publisher: Activision Genre: Action Adventure Players: 1 Offline Player
Joes Notes:

The Short Version: Wolverine: Origins the Game in some ways surpasses the quality of the movie its based on – still, that’s not saying very much. You’ll find yourself rolling your eyes and even hating some sections, but seconds before you’ve had enough – it will throw something undeniably cool your way, stringing you along […]

Star Trek D-A-C Review

MSRP: $15 Platform: XBLA, PSN, Steam Developer: Naked Sky Entertainment Publisher: Paramount Digital Entertainment Genre: Twin Sticks Shooter Players: 1 Offline Player, 12 Players Online
Joes Notes:

Star Trek D-A-C is a bare bones game that has little to do with the movie its based on. It’s obvious that it was delivered to “cash-in” on the film, rather than contribute to the franchise.

The Short Version: Riddick earns its place among few and far between decent movie-based-tie-in games with its great sci-fi atmosphere and viceral hand to hand FPS combat. All of this in one great package that includes the original Butcher Bay, the new dark Athena campaign, and even newly added Multiplayer modes. Check out the Video […]

Godfather II Review

MSRP: $60 Platform: Xbox 360, PC, PS3 Developer: EA Redwood Shores Publisher: Electronic Arts Genre: Open World Game Players: 1 Offline Player, 16 Players Online
Joes Notes:

The Short Version:Godfather 2 mostly reuses a lot of things from the first game but manages to offer two cool new mechanics; the Don’s view and hiring family members. Unfortunately the game offers absolutely NO challenge making it an eventual chore to play through. I’m a huge fan of Gangster Movies (i’m especially looking forward […]

We all know that Fable 2 was an Epic release for Lionhead, Microsoft and the Xbox 360 community. Fable 1 was fun but ultimately it disappointed me. Leading up to Fable 2’s release AngryJoe has probably made more Fable 2 related videos than any other game that came before. Here we all it all leads […]
