And yeah, the DLC thing… another bad practice. It doesn’t matter if it is easier to get even partial extra content out this way… morally, it feels wrong. And that will never change.

I’m not really interested in your fartin’ around vids anymore. This derpy style of play just makes me less interested in the game. I’d go as far to say that your fartin’ around videos are anti-selling the games. After each one now, I’ve felt angry that the game even exists for you guys to butcher. I love your reviews, but this is insulting.
I personally think you’re retarded and that these videos are funny, they also exist to really show what gameplay is going to be like when you pick up controllers or sit at your keyboard.
You don’t like it and wont buy the games because you don’t like derpy gameplay? Fine but just shut up in future.

I found them to be very funny. So what they’re not “trying.” That’s why it’s called “fart’n around” and not: “Games r srs busnes!!1” Seriously SEMC, your anger over a video of two friends enjoying themselves playing a demo is saddening. Do you sit around jerking off to your next achievement you earned on xbox or something? How can you not relate to Joe and Jacob in this video? The only way I can ever imagine that someone could watch this and get nerd-rage is if they spend their pathetic existence alone and friendless, gloating to your own narcissistic inner voice about how awesome your “gamer skillz” are…
Climbing onto bosses and stabbing them? I wonder if the developers saw Shadow of the Colossus and said “shit yeah this with Griffons and Dragons would be awesome!” because that I’m seeing.
Finally a good capcom game that i might pick up to try.
BTW Joe me and friends have nejoyed this game and you should review this old classic…SSX.

I just got the game commander Joe and so far I like the basic story. The story is simple, but I feel better with it since the main villain has done something to you to make you want to kill it, beyond the old good vs evil. it better so far then say Dragon age since the main villain was not the Archdaemon, even if it was the final boss, it was Logahin since he personally bent you over in the beginning to make you want his head. and the game play is pretty good if a bit over sensitive, the menu could be better, still I would take it over Witcher 2. and that was all in the first hour of playing the game. so far it good, but I’ll see more of it as I play. also I hope you do a full review of this game later on.

Had a feeling they were going to include on disc DLC. As long as they didn’t lock a big chunk of the content away like in SFxT I may still pick it up. It’s still a great looking game and it could still be packed with lots of content. The only thing missing is 4 player co-op. On the bright side, they said they wre listening to the complaints and plan to change their practices. It looks like they’re finally taking us seriously.

Right now they’re in the ALARM-MODE, because of the low sales. Right now they’re in the PR-MODE in order to still sell you their bad business.
They’re not listening to you guys. They’re upset because someone hacked their content and for them it’s clearly the wrong way to deliver DLC’s – because of the hack.
And that’s what the entire story is about, the DLC’s, no matter if it’s downloadable content or disc locked content. It’s the DLC’s that all the real gamers hate.
I don’t care how it’s delivered, I don’t want it to be there in the first place. Maybe one year later after the release of the game in order to support it and to offer the fans more content, while they’re waiting for a new part of the game, but not like this.
Right now they finish the game and split it afterwards to sell it to you and earn more money. More direct money without having to give anything to the manufactury, the retailers and so on.
It’s business, sure, but it’s bad business.
I would honestly prefer 80$ games more than having to buy pieces of the game after purchasing the game for the first time.
I want to be able to take the game to a friend, without having to carry my hard-drive, because there I have a shit load of DLC’s for the game, ON THE VERY FIRST DAY.
Cashcom makes me puke. I hate every single person who works there and approves to that unethical bullshit.
Now don’t get me wrong. I think that Cashcom makes good games. The Devil May Cry series, the Street Fighter Marvel VS Capcom games … It’s all good, but I’m still not willing to spend sooo much money on it.
Right now you buy Street Fighter X Tekken for 60$ (probably 25-35$ from Amazon, since that game bombed hard because of the bullshit practices from Crapcom).
But after paying 60$ for the game, you have to buy the costume-packs… I think there are 2 of them per 20$ for each, so you’re paying 100$ for the game. But let’s not forget the extra characters who are on the disc: 20$.
120$ for the full game so far, but … there are also some uber-color swaps if I remember correctly and the pay-to-win-gems for additional 20$… Right now we pay 140$ for the full Street Fighter X Tekken game.
And if you’re playing the game on the X-Box, then you’re clearly fucked up, since it doesn’t offer the couch-co-op and you lack few of the exclusive characters.
How is that fair?
Cashcom clearly had a serious deal going on with Sony, since the Sony Playstation 3 has that additional Couch-Co-Op (while Cashcom lied to us and told us that the X-Box 360 doesn’t allow that feature, even though games like Mortal Kombat 9 allowed it).
Later on they said that they didn’t managed to create that in time, yet that’s another obvious lie and I’m telling you now that the 360 owners will never get that feature for the game.
However, the Sony Playstation 3 has that extra mode, the extra characters, the Sony Playstation Vita will have the additional characters for 20$ bucks less and so on.
It’s all just there to make the Sony Playstation look better.
I don’t even want to know how much money Cashcom got for that, but additionally to the charging of finished extra-content …
… it’s just a pure mess. It’s unethical, it’s cheap, it’s disgusting and so on.
I boycotted Street Fighter X Tekken, Asura’s Wrath and RE: ORC.
I’m going to boycott Dragon’s Dogma, because it also has DLC on the disc (disc locked content obviously), I’m going to buy DMC5 used and pray that it doesn’t have any upcoming DLC’s, although I doubt that hardly.
And I’m going to boycott RE6.
I won’t be supporting Cashcom with my money anymore. The last game I bought was UMVC3, but mainly because I didn’t own MVC3.
Cashcom does not deserve the money of the gamers. Not until they start doing things right and the only right thing to do would be to release all the upcoming content for free. They would earn far more money with that, since more people would buy their games.
Sorry for the long rant, but it’s simply how it is.
I think it’s safe to assume that Capcom is listening to us now. There was no reason for SFxT to bomb the way it did. Two fighting game titans were stepping into the ring together for the first time. It had great gameplay, an awesome roster and a crazy huge number of fans on each side. This was a HUGE game that was guaranteed to make big profits for Capcom. Then the huge chunks disc locked DLC were found before release, features that were promised were never given and the game had bugs and glitches. Capcom has done this before in the past but it was never to this magnitude. After seeing how poor the sales were it was obvious that they had had gone too far. They hilariously blamed the poor sales on there being too many fighting games in the market but they have recently acknowledged their poor practices and are working on fixing it.
Whether or not they actually change remains to be seen but the fact that we hurt their sales for such a massive game and got them to acknowledge their practices is a small victory and step in the right direction. I won’t be getting Dragon’s Dogma right away because I’m waiting to see how well it holds up with the disc locked content. I might buy it as long as they don’t cut too much out but no way in hell am I paying for the DLC if I do.

Cashcom never said that they will drop the DLC practices. They only said that t hey’re listening to us (LOLOLOLOLO), that they know that we don’t like the content on the disc (LOLOLOLOLOLO) and that they will look for a different way to deliver the DLC (LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO).
That’s what the Cashcom-Svennson retard said. That’s it.

Maybe in the future you will have Day 1 DLC’s, or they will bring out new games 5 months after the release of the firstly released alpha-version of the game, or they will come up with special editions of the game every single time and you will have to pay 70$, instead of 60$ for that version to get the full game, while even there chances will be high that they confront you with downloadable content.
Cashcom has clearly fucked up. I don’t even konw why you’re trying to protect them.

I honestly don’t know if they’re really that stupid, or desperate or what the hell so ever, since they really did say that the low sales for SFxT were the too many fighting games on the market, even though that’s insane bullshit.
What I know is that the people were boycotting the game. Buying it used, downloaded it from the internet in order to play it. I downloaded it and I’m currently playing it to see if it’s good enough to buy it used, since I only have physical copies of my games.
If you’re into fighting games you’ll probably enjoy it. It plays like Street Fighter with easier controls and more of an emphasis on juggles. I’m not trying to protect Capcom by the way. I’m just telling it like it is. Capcom is in a tight spot right now. They need to step their game up or else. I’m going to give them a chance to redeem themselves because they make great games but if they try to rip us off later through day 1 DLC or by constantly rereleasing updates/unfinished games then we’ll make sure to give them hell.
It looks like a cool game but on disc dlc is a major drawback. Also I don’t know many people who like to play in parties, something probably a necessity for this game.

Also… if you dont like the DLC practice (that they stated they’re trying to change), just dont buy the DLC’s.
However, please support this game… buy it so that Capcom can think on making a sequel. Seriously, we need more action rpgs… specially looking as awesome as this.
You should DEFINITELY check this game, Joe. It’s really a rough diamond…. it starts kinda boring and simple, but as it progresses, if you do take attention on how you build your character and pawns, how you adventure, and other things, this game shines incredibly bright.
Also the new game+ allows us to explore the MULTIPLE ENDINGS (based on choices you get to do), and some of them are incredibly surprising.

Besides the on disc DLC’s it was said it takes a ALOT of time getting from one place to another. Iam thinking they might give us a DLC vehicle or mounted horses.
Also there is a NEW GAME+ which everything is carried over, but enemies will be stronger in your next game and there will be more surprise monsters and extra stuff.
You’d normally think that things like horses or transportation would be an obvious feature to include from the start.
I am extremely excited for this game Im 13 and sadly my sisters birthday is on the day this game comes out 🙁
Well, after playing the demo myself, I think this has a lot going for it. The only thing that is holding me back from buying this the day it comes out right now is that Capcom has a history of DLC. Though if Joe does not show any signs of doing a review right away I am just going to buy it right away or wait a day at the most.
So in other words, you are afraid to get buttraped again but are too impatient to wait another week after it came out.

Crapcom already admitted that Dragon’s Dogma will feature DLC’s on the disc.
They got a mix between two games in this one
took climbing on creatures and vast open explorable terran from Shadow of Colossus a PS2 game and took the mass expansion of different types of monsters, monster slaying and party support (hopfully better AI but i heard there is a intergraded learning system so your Pawn(s) gets better each time it kills, enter and find stuff in new areas though im not 100% sure on that) but any ways we will see when it comes out looks fun 🙂

This game looks amazing just played the demo and love how it has some many options for character customization and how well the boss battles are freaking love climbing on the griffin just hacking away at him if the demo was this good cant wait to see the full game i hope to see DLC for this game as well.
