No Division Reviews Until After Release Day ....

14 posts in this topic

Probably for the best, there have been enough times where early reviews have said a game worked without problems then barely or didn't function once it was released to the public. A chance to review the game when dealing with regular players and the possibility of errors, cheating, etc. Won't really effect anyone, people who preordered it will have it preordered, people who didn't can wait two days for a review or a few hours for early impressions and youtube/twitter/twitch posts/streams to see if people are enjoying it.

Typical NDA BS in the game industry.

umm...what? What are you guys talking about, that actually seems like a NOBLE decision. Nobody is going to notice how good or poorly the server will handle all the traffic until the game is out... along with the matchmaking and all that shit. I'm not saying Ubisoft is great or anything, but good god if they get something right, let them know so that maybe they'll continue.

^Basically. Isn't The Division an online only game? Seem like the best decision if you ask me.

I don't think it will matter much. Joe didn't seem that impressed during his first hands-on a couple weeks ago...

Aw fuck me.

Now the good news is that if the game suck ass, I know a special discount website that will reduce the price of the game accordingly. If it sucks, the game's price will drop from $60 to $30 after the verdict. Same thing happened with Alien Colonial Marines.

Now if it's good, there's only $10 discount. So I'm hoping it will suck so it's cheaper, but then again I might as well buy another game. Like WWE 2K16 for PC. Yesh!!!

I'm not sure what to make of this game yet. I've watched previews of low level to high level play, and I just can't tell if it will keep my attention for long. I was only going to get it because my Destiny clan is jumping in on it. I really want to wait for the reviews before making a purchase.

Reviews should be on release date, no matter what.

Assassin's Creed Unity, anyone?

That wasn't an online game, if anything having them review that actual product in its natural environment should mean that it isn't like that (also that there really wasn't any problems to the extent of Unity in either the private or public beta).
